| 1 [2:154] | Wala taqooloo liman yuqtalu feesabeeli Allahi amwatun bal ahyaon walakinla tashAAuroona |  ولا تقولوا لمن يقتل في سبيل الله أموات بل أحياء ولكن لا تشعرونوَلاَ تَقُولُواْ لِمَنْ يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَمْوَاتٌ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَلَكِن لاَّ تَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقولوا - say| لمن - for (the ones) who| يقتل - are slain| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| أموات - "(They are) dead."| بل - Nay,| أحياء - (they are) alive| ولكن - [and] but| لا - you (do) not| تشعرون - perceive.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:169] | Wala tahsabanna allatheenaqutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi amwatan bal ahyaonAAinda rabbihim yurzaqoona | ولا تحسبن الذين قتلوا في سبيل الله أمواتا بل أحياء عند ربهم يرزقون وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تحسبن - think| الذين - (of) those who| قتلوا - are killed| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| أمواتا - (as) dead.| بل - Nay!| أحياء - They are alive,| عند - near| ربهم - their Lord;| يرزقون - they are given provision.| | ||||||
| 3 [16:21] | Amwatun ghayru ahya-inwama yashAAuroona ayyana yubAAathoona | أموات غير أحياء وما يشعرون أيان يبعثون أَمْواتٌ غَيْرُ أَحْيَاءٍ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أموات - (They are) dead| غير - not alive.| أحياء - not alive.| وما - And not| يشعرون - they perceive| أيان - when| يبعثون - they will be resurrected.| | ||||||
