| 1 [12:80] | Falamma istay-asoo minhu khalasoonajiyyan qala kabeeruhum alam taAAlamoo anna abakumqad akhatha AAalaykum mawthiqan mina Allahi waminqablu ma farrattum fee yoosufa falan abrahaal-arda hatta ya/thana lee abee aw yahkumaAllahu lee wahuwa khayru alhakimeena |  فلما استيأسوا منه خلصوا نجيا قال كبيرهم ألم تعلموا أن أباكم قد أخذ عليكم موثقا من الله ومن قبل ما فرطتم في يوسف فلن أبرح الأرض حتى يأذن لي أبي أو يحكم الله لي وهو خير الحاكمينفَلَمَّا اسْتَيْأَسُواْ مِنْهُ خَلَصُواْ نَجِيًّا قَالَ كَبِيرُهُمْ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ أَبَاكُمْ قَدْ أَخَذَ عَلَيْكُم مَّوْثِقًا مِّنَ اللّهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ مَا فَرَّطتُمْ فِي يُوسُفَ فَلَنْ أَبْرَحَ الْأَرْضَ حَتَّىَ يَأْذَنَ لِي أَبِي أَوْ يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ لِي وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| استيأسوا - they despaired| منه - of him,| خلصوا - they secluded themselves| نجيا - (in) private consultation.| قال - Said| كبيرهم - the eldest among them,| ألم - "Do not| تعلموا - you know| أن - that| أباكم - your father,| قد - has taken| أخذ - has taken| عليكم - upon you| موثقا - a promise| من - by| الله - Allah,| ومن - and before| قبل - and before| ما - that| فرطتم - you failed| في - concerning| يوسف - Yusuf?| فلن - So never| أبرح - will I leave| الأرض - the land| حتى - until| يأذن - permits| لي - me| أبي - my father| أو - or| يحكم - Allah decides| الله - Allah decides| لي - for me,| وهو - and He| خير - (is) the Best| الحاكمين - (of) the judges.| | ||||||
| 2 [12:93] | Ithhaboo biqameesee hathafaalqoohu AAala wajhi abee ya/ti baseeran wa/tooneebi-ahlikum ajmaAAeena | اذهبوا بقميصي هذا فألقوه على وجه أبي يأت بصيرا وأتوني بأهلكم أجمعين اذْهَبُواْ بِقَمِيصِي هَـذَا فَأَلْقُوهُ عَلَى وَجْهِ أَبِي يَأْتِ بَصِيرًا وَأْتُونِي بِأَهْلِكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |اذهبوا - Go| بقميصي - with this shirt of mine| هذا - with this shirt of mine| فألقوه - and cast it| على - over| وجه - (the) face| أبي - (of) my father,| يأت - he will regain sight.| بصيرا - he will regain sight.| وأتوني - And bring to me| بأهلكم - your family| أجمعين - all together."| | ||||||
| 3 [28:25] | Fajaat-hu ihdahumatamshee AAala istihya-in qalat innaabee yadAAooka liyajziyaka ajra ma saqayta lanafalamma jaahu waqassa AAalayhi alqasasaqala la takhaf najawta mina alqawmi alththalimeena | فجاءته إحداهما تمشي على استحياء قالت إن أبي يدعوك ليجزيك أجر ما سقيت لنا فلما جاءه وقص عليه القصص قال لا تخف نجوت من القوم الظالمين فَجَاءَتْهُ إِحْدَاهُمَا تَمْشِي عَلَى اسْتِحْيَاءٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِي يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَنَا فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُ وَقَصَّ عَلَيْهِ الْقَصَصَ قَالَ لَا تَخَفْ نَجَوْتَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فجاءته - Then came to him| إحداهما - one of the two women| تمشي - walking| على - with| استحياء - shyness.| قالت - She said,| إن - "Indeed,| أبي - my father| يدعوك - calls you,| ليجزيك - that he may reward you| أجر - (the) reward| ما - (for) what| سقيت - you watered| لنا - for us."| فلما - So when| جاءه - he came to him| وقص - and narrated| عليه - to him| القصص - the story,| قال - he said,| لا - "(Do) not| تخف - fear.| نجوت - You have escaped| من - from| القوم - the people -| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 4 [111:1] | Tabbat yada abee lahabin watabba | تبت يدا أبي لهب وتب تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ | |||||
