| 1 [2:151] | Kama arsalna feekum rasoolanminkum yatloo AAalaykum ayatinawayuzakkeekum wayuAAallimukumu alkitaba waalhikmatawayuAAallimukum ma lam takoonoo taAAlamoona |  كما أرسلنا فيكم رسولا منكم يتلو عليكم آياتنا ويزكيكم ويعلمكم الكتاب والحكمة ويعلمكم ما لم تكونوا تعلمونكَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولاً مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُم مَّا لَمْ تَكُونُواْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كما - As| أرسلنا - We sent| فيكم - among you| رسولا - a Messenger| منكم - from you| يتلو - (who) recites| عليكم - to you| آياتنا - Our verses| ويزكيكم - and purifies you| ويعلمكم - and teaches you| الكتاب - the Book| والحكمة - and the wisdom| ويعلمكم - and teaches you| ما - what| لم - not| تكونوا - you were| تعلمون - knowing.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:68] | Wa-itha raayta allatheenayakhoodoona fee ayatina faaAAridAAanhum hatta yakhoodoo fee hadeethinghayrihi wa-imma yunsiyannaka alshshaytanufala taqAAud baAAda alththikra maAAaalqawmi alththalimeena | وإذا رأيت الذين يخوضون في آياتنا فأعرض عنهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث غيره وإما ينسينك الشيطان فلا تقعد بعد الذكرى مع القوم الظالمين وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَلاَ تَقْعُدْ بَعْدَ الذِّكْرَى مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رأيت - you see| الذين - those who| يخوضون - engage (in vain talks)| في - about| آياتنا - Our Verses,| فأعرض - then turn away| عنهم - from them| حتى - until| يخوضوا - they engage| في - in| حديث - a talk| غيره - other than it.| وإما - And if| ينسينك - causes you to forget| الشيطان - the Shaitaan,| فلا - then (do) not| تقعد - sit| بعد - after| الذكرى - the reminder| مع - with| القوم - the people -| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:157] | Aw taqooloo law anna onzila AAalaynaalkitabu lakunna ahda minhum faqad jaakumbayyinatun min rabbikum wahudan warahmatun faman athlamumimman kaththaba bi-ayati Allahi wasadafaAAanha sanajzee allatheena yasdifoona AAan ayatinasoo-a alAAathabi bima kanoo yasdifoona | أو تقولوا لو أنا أنزل علينا الكتاب لكنا أهدى منهم فقد جاءكم بينة من ربكم وهدى ورحمة فمن أظلم ممن كذب بآيات الله وصدف عنها سنجزي الذين يصدفون عن آياتنا سوء العذاب بما كانوا يصدفون أَوْ تَقُولُواْ لَوْ أَنَّا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا الْكِتَابُ لَكُنَّا أَهْدَى مِنْهُمْ فَقَدْ جَاءَكُم بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنْهَا سَنَجْزِي الَّذِينَ يَصْدِفُونَ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصْدِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أو - Or| تقولوا - you say,| لو - "If| أنا - [that]| أنزل - was revealed| علينا - to us| الكتاب - the Book| لكنا - surely we (would) have been| أهدى - better guided| منهم - than them.| فقد - So verily| جاءكم - has come to you| بينة - clear proofs| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| وهدى - and a Guidance| ورحمة - and a Mercy.| فمن - Then who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (he) who| كذب - denies| بآيات - [with] (the) Verses| الله - (of) Allah,| وصدف - and turns away| عنها - from them?| سنجزي - We will recompense| الذين - those who| يصدفون - turn away| عن - from| آياتنا - Our Signs| سوء - (with) an evil| العذاب - punishment| بما - because| كانوا - they used to| يصدفون - turn away.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:175] | Waotlu AAalayhim nabaa allatheeataynahu ayatina fainsalakhaminha faatbaAAahu alshshaytanu fakanamina alghaweena | واتل عليهم نبأ الذي آتيناه آياتنا فانسلخ منها فأتبعه الشيطان فكان من الغاوين وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ الَّذِيَ آتَيْنَاهُ آيَاتِنَا فَانسَلَخَ مِنْهَا فَأَتْبَعَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واتل - And recite| عليهم - to them| نبأ - (the) story| الذي - (of the) one whom| آتيناه - We gave [him]| آياتنا - Our Verses,| فانسلخ - but he detached| منها - [from] them,| فأتبعه - so followed him| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| فكان - and he became| من - of| الغاوين - those gone astray.| | ||||||
| 5 [8:31] | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunaqaloo qad samiAAna law nashao laqulnamithla hatha in hatha illa asateerual-awwaleena | وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا قالوا قد سمعنا لو نشاء لقلنا مثل هذا إن هذا إلا أساطير الأولين وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا قَالُواْ قَدْ سَمِعْنَا لَوْ نَشَاءُ لَقُلْنَا مِثْلَ هَـذَا إِنْ هَـذَا إِلاَّ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| تتلى - are recited| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses| قالوا - they say,| قد - "Verily| سمعنا - we have heard.| لو - if| نشاء - we wish| لقلنا - surely, we could say| مثل - like| هذا - this.| إن - Not| هذا - is this| إلا - but| أساطير - tales| الأولين - (of) the former (people)."| | ||||||
| 6 [10:7] | Inna allatheena la yarjoona liqaanawaradoo bialhayati alddunyawaitmaannoo biha waallatheenahum AAan ayatina ghafiloona | إن الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا ورضوا بالحياة الدنيا واطمأنوا بها والذين هم عن آياتنا غافلون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا وَرَضُواْ بِالْحَياةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاطْمَأَنُّواْ بِهَا وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا غَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يرجون - expect| لقاءنا - the meeting with Us| ورضوا - and are pleased| بالحياة - with the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| واطمأنوا - and feel satisfied| بها - with it| والذين - and those -| هم - they| عن - (are) of| آياتنا - Our Signs,| غافلون - heedless.| | ||||||
| 7 [10:15] | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin qala allatheena layarjoona liqaana i/ti biqur-anin ghayri hathaaw baddilhu qul ma yakoonu lee an obaddilahu min tilqa-inafsee in attabiAAu illa ma yooha ilayyainnee akhafu in AAasaytu rabbee AAathabayawmin AAatheemin | وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات قال الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا ائت بقرآن غير هذا أو بدله قل ما يكون لي أن أبدله من تلقاء نفسي إن أتبع إلا ما يوحى إلي إني أخاف إن عصيت ربي عذاب يوم عظيم وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا ائْتِ بِقُرْآنٍ غَيْرِ هَـذَا أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ قُلْ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُ مِن تِلْقَاءِ نَفْسِي إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلاَّ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| تتلى - are recited| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses| بينات - (as) clear proofs| قال - said| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يرجون - hope| لقاءنا - (for the) meeting (with) Us,| ائت - "Bring us| بقرآن - a Quran| غير - other (than)| هذا - this| أو - or| بدله - change it."| قل - Say,| ما - "Not| يكون - (it) is| لي - for me| أن - that| أبدله - I change it| من - of| تلقاء - my own accord.| نفسي - my own accord.| إن - Not| أتبع - I follow| إلا - except| ما - what| يوحى - is revealed| إلي - to me.| إني - Indeed, I| أخاف - [I] fear| إن - if| عصيت - I were to disobey| ربي - my Lord,| عذاب - (the) punishment| يوم - (of) a Day,| عظيم - Great."| | ||||||
| 8 [10:21] | Wa-itha athaqna alnnasarahmatan min baAAdi darraa massat-hum ithalahum makrun fee ayatina quli AllahuasraAAu makran inna rusulana yaktuboona matamkuroona | وإذا أذقنا الناس رحمة من بعد ضراء مستهم إذا لهم مكر في آياتنا قل الله أسرع مكرا إن رسلنا يكتبون ما تمكرون وَإِذَا أَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً مِّن بَعْدِ ضَرَّاءَ مَسَّتْهُمْ إِذَا لَهُم مَّكْرٌ فِي آيَاتِنَا قُلِ اللّهُ أَسْرَعُ مَكْرًا إِنَّ رُسُلَنَا يَكْتُبُونَ مَا تَمْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| أذقنا - We let [the] mankind taste| الناس - We let [the] mankind taste| رحمة - mercy| من - after| بعد - after| ضراء - adversity| مستهم - has touched them,| إذا - behold!| لهم - They have| مكر - a plot| في - against| آياتنا - Our Verses.| قل - Say,| الله - "Allah| أسرع - (is) more swift| مكرا - (in) planning."| إن - Indeed,| رسلنا - Our Messengers| يكتبون - write down| ما - what| تمكرون - you plot.| | ||||||
| 9 [10:92] | Faalyawma nunajjeeka bibadanikalitakoona liman khalfaka ayatan wa-inna katheeran mina alnnasiAAan ayatina laghafiloona | فاليوم ننجيك ببدنك لتكون لمن خلفك آية وإن كثيرا من الناس عن آياتنا لغافلون فَالْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ آيَةً وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا لَغَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فاليوم - So today| ننجيك - We will save you| ببدنك - in your body,| لتكون - that you may be| لمن - for (those) who| خلفك - succeed you| آية - a sign.| وإن - And indeed,| كثيرا - many| من - among| الناس - the mankind| عن - of| آياتنا - Our Signs| لغافلون - (are) surely heedless."| | ||||||
| 10 [15:81] | Waataynahum ayatinafakanoo AAanha muAArideena | وآتيناهم آياتنا فكانوا عنها معرضين وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ آيَاتِنَا فَكَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وآتيناهم - And We gave them| آياتنا - Our Signs,| فكانوا - but they were| عنها - from them| معرضين - turning away.| | ||||||
| 11 [17:1] | Subhana allathee asrabiAAabdihi laylan mina almasjidi alharami ilaalmasjidi al-aqsa allathee barakna hawlahulinuriyahu min ayatina innahu huwa alssameeAAualbaseeru | سبحان الذي أسرى بعبده ليلا من المسجد الحرام إلى المسجد الأقصى الذي باركنا حوله لنريه من آياتنا إنه هو السميع البصير سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَى بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلاً مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى الَّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ البَصِيرُ | |||||

| 12 [18:9] | Am hasibta anna as-habaalkahfi waalrraqeemi kanoo min ayatinaAAajaban | أم حسبت أن أصحاب الكهف والرقيم كانوا من آياتنا عجبا أَمْ حَسِبْتَ أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْكَهْفِ وَالرَّقِيمِ كَانُوا مِنْ آيَاتِنَا عَجَبًا | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| حسبت - have you thought| أن - that| أصحاب - (the) companions| الكهف - (of) the cave| والرقيم - and the inscription| كانوا - were,| من - among| آياتنا - Our Signs,| عجبا - a wonder?| | ||||||
| 13 [19:73] | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin qala allatheena kafaroo lillatheenaamanoo ayyu alfareeqayni khayrun maqaman waahsanunadiyyan | وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات قال الذين كفروا للذين آمنوا أي الفريقين خير مقاما وأحسن نديا وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌ مَّقَامًا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّا | |||||

| 14 [20:23] | Linuriyaka min ayatinaalkubra | لنريك من آياتنا الكبرى لِنُرِيَكَ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا الْكُبْرَى | |||||

| 15 [20:56] | Walaqad araynahu ayatinakullaha fakaththaba waaba | ولقد أريناه آياتنا كلها فكذب وأبى وَلَقَدْ أَرَيْنَاهُ آيَاتِنَا كُلَّهَا فَكَذَّبَ وَأَبَى | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أريناه - We showed him| آياتنا - Our Signs,| كلها - all of them,| فكذب - but he denied| وأبى - and refused.| | ||||||
| 16 [20:126] | Qala kathalika atatka ayatunafanaseetaha wakathalika alyawma tunsa | قال كذلك أتتك آياتنا فنسيتها وكذلك اليوم تنسى قَالَ كَذَلِكَ أَتَتْكَ آيَاتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَا وَكَذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ تُنسَى | |||||
| Words | |قال - He will say,| كذلك - "Thus| أتتك - came to you| آياتنا - Our Signs,| فنسيتها - but you forgot them,| وكذلك - and thus| اليوم - today| تنسى - you will be forgotten."| | ||||||
| 17 [22:51] | Waallatheena saAAaw fee ayatinamuAAajizeena ola-ika as-habu aljaheemi | والذين سعوا في آياتنا معاجزين أولئك أصحاب الجحيم وَالَّذِينَ سَعَوْا فِي آيَاتِنَا مُعَاجِزِينَ أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| سعوا - strove| في - against| آياتنا - Our Verses,| معاجزين - (to) cause failure,| أولئك - those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| الجحيم - (of) the Hellfire.| | ||||||
| 18 [22:72] | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin taAArifu fee wujoohi allatheena kafarooalmunkara yakadoona yastoona biallatheenayatloona AAalayhim ayatina qulafaonabbi-okum bisharrin min thalikum alnnaruwaAAadaha Allahu allatheena kafaroo wabi/saalmaseeru | وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات تعرف في وجوه الذين كفروا المنكر يكادون يسطون بالذين يتلون عليهم آياتنا قل أفأنبئكم بشر من ذلكم النار وعدها الله الذين كفروا وبئس المصير وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الْمُنكَرَ يَكَادُونَ يَسْطُونَ بِالَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا قُلْ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَلِكُمُ النَّارُ وَعَدَهَا اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| تتلى - are recited| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses| بينات - clear,| تعرف - you will recognize| في - on| وجوه - (the) faces| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieve| المنكر - the denial.| يكادون - They almost| يسطون - attack| بالذين - those who| يتلون - recite| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses.| قل - Say,| أفأنبئكم - "Then shall I inform you| بشر - of worse| من - than| ذلكم - that?| النار - The Fire,| وعدها - Allah (has) promised it| الله - Allah (has) promised it| الذين - (for) those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| وبئس - and wretched| المصير - (is) the destination."| | ||||||
| 19 [27:13] | Falamma jaat-hum ayatunamubsiratan qaloo hatha sihrun mubeenun | فلما جاءتهم آياتنا مبصرة قالوا هذا سحر مبين فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَاتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوا هَذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - But when| جاءتهم - came to them| آياتنا - Our Signs| مبصرة - visible,| قالوا - they said,| هذا - "This| سحر - (is) a magic| مبين - manifest."| | ||||||
| 20 [28:45] | Walakinna ansha-naquroonan fatatawala AAalayhimu alAAumuru wama kuntathawiyan fee ahli madyana tatloo AAalayhim ayatinawalakinna kunna mursileena | ولكنا أنشأنا قرونا فتطاول عليهم العمر وما كنت ثاويا في أهل مدين تتلو عليهم آياتنا ولكنا كنا مرسلين وَلَكِنَّا أَنشَأْنَا قُرُونًا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعُمُرُ وَمَا كُنتَ ثَاوِيًا فِي أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ تَتْلُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا وَلَكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكنا - But We| أنشأنا - [We] produced| قرونا - generations| فتطاول - and prolonged| عليهم - for them| العمر - the life.| وما - And not| كنت - you were| ثاويا - a dweller| في - among| أهل - (the) people| مدين - (of) Madyan,| تتلو - reciting| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses,| ولكنا - but We| كنا - [We] were| مرسلين - the Senders.| | ||||||
