| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:133] | Am kuntum shuhadaa ith hadarayaAAqooba almawtu ith qala libaneehi mataAAbudoona min baAAdee qaloo naAAbudu ilahakawa-ilaha aba-ika ibraheema wa-ismaAAeelawa-ishaqa ilahan wahidan wanahnu lahumuslimoona
|  أم كنتم شهداء إذ حضر يعقوب الموت إذ قال لبنيه ما تعبدون من بعدي قالوا نعبد إلهك وإله آبائك إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق إلها واحدا ونحن له مسلمون
أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن بَعْدِي قَالُواْ نَعْبُدُ إِلَـهَكَ وَإِلَـهَ آبَائِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ إِلَـهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ |
| Words | |أم - Or| كنتم - were you| شهداء - witnesses| إذ - when| حضر - came to| يعقوب - Yaqub| الموت - [the] death,| إذ - when| قال - he said| لبنيه - to his sons,| ما - "What| تعبدون - will you worship| من - from| بعدي - after me?"| قالوا - They said,| نعبد - "We will worship| إلهك - your God| وإله - and (the) God| آبائك - (of) your forefathers,| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسماعيل - and Ishmael| وإسحاق - and Isaac -| إلها - God| واحدا - One.| ونحن - And we| له - to Him| مسلمون - (are) submissive."| |
