| 1 [2:4] | Waallatheena yu/minoona bimaonzila ilayka wama onzila min qablika wabial-akhiratihum yooqinoona |  والذين يؤمنون بما أنزل إليك وما أنزل من قبلك وبالآخرة هم يوقنونوَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يؤمنون - believe| بما - in what| أنزل - (is) sent down| إليك - to you| وما - and what| أنزل - was sent down| من - from| قبلك - before you| وبالآخرة - and in the Hereafter| هم - they| يوقنون - firmly believe.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:8] | Wamina alnnasi man yaqoolu amannabiAllahi wabialyawmi al-akhiri wamahum bimu/mineena | ومن الناس من يقول آمنا بالله وباليوم الآخر وما هم بمؤمنين وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَّقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And of| الناس - the people| من - (are some) who| يقول - say,| آمنا - "We believed| بالله - in Allah| وباليوم - and in the Day| الآخر - [the] Last,"| وما - but not| هم - they| بمؤمنين - (are) believers (at all).| | ||||||
| 3 [2:9] | YukhadiAAoona Allaha waallatheenaamanoo wama yakhdaAAoona illa anfusahum wamayashAAuroona | يخادعون الله والذين آمنوا وما يخدعون إلا أنفسهم وما يشعرون يُخَادِعُونَ اللّهَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُم وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يخادعون - They seek to deceive| الله - Allah| والذين - and those who| آمنوا - believe[d],| وما - and not| يخدعون - they deceive| إلا - except| أنفسهم - themselves,| وما - and not| يشعرون - they realize (it).| | ||||||
| 4 [2:16] | Ola-ika allatheena ishtarawooalddalalata bialhuda famarabihat tijaratuhum wama kanoomuhtadeena | أولئك الذين اشتروا الضلالة بالهدى فما ربحت تجارتهم وما كانوا مهتدين أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُاْ الضَّلاَلَةَ بِالْهُدَى فَمَا رَبِحَت تِّجَارَتُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who| اشتروا - bought| الضلالة - [the] astraying| بالهدى - for [the] guidance.| فما - So not| ربحت - profited| تجارتهم - their commerce| وما - and not| كانوا - were they| مهتدين - guided-ones.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:26] | Inna Allaha la yastahyeean yadriba mathalan ma baAAoodatan famafawqaha faamma allatheena amanoofayaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu min rabbihim waammaallatheena kafaroo fayaqooloona matha aradaAllahu bihatha mathalan yudillu bihikatheeran wayahdee bihi katheeran wama yudillu bihiilla alfasiqeena | إن الله لا يستحيي أن يضرب مثلا ما بعوضة فما فوقها فأما الذين آمنوا فيعلمون أنه الحق من ربهم وأما الذين كفروا فيقولون ماذا أراد الله بهذا مثلا يضل به كثيرا ويهدي به كثيرا وما يضل به إلا الفاسقين إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَسْتَحْيِي أَن يَّضْرِبَ مَثَلاً مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَـذَا مَثَلاً يُضِلُّ بِهِ كَثِيراً وَّيَهْدِي بِهِ كَثِيراً وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِ إِلاَّ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (is) not| يستحيي - ashamed| أن - to| يضرب - set forth| مثلا - an example| ما - (like) even| بعوضة - (of) a mosquito| فما - and (even) something| فوقها - above it.| فأما - Then as for| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed,| فيعلمون - [thus] they will know| أنه - that it| الحق - (is) the truth| من - from| ربهم - their Lord.| وأما - And as for| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| فيقولون - [thus] they will say| ماذا - what| أراد - (did) intend| الله - Allah| بهذا - by this| مثلا - example?| يضل - He lets go astray| به - by it| كثيرا - many| ويهدي - and He guides| به - by it| كثيرا - many.| وما - And not| يضل - He lets go astray| به - by it| إلا - except| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:33] | Qala ya adamu anbi/humbi-asma-ihim falamma anbaahum bi-asma-ihim qalaalam aqul lakum innee aAAlamu ghayba alssamawatiwaal-ardi waaAAlamu ma tubdoona wamakuntum taktumoona | قال يا آدم أنبئهم بأسمائهم فلما أنبأهم بأسمائهم قال ألم أقل لكم إني أعلم غيب السماوات والأرض وأعلم ما تبدون وما كنتم تكتمون قَالَ يَا آدَمُ أَنْبِئْهُمْ بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ فَلَمَّا أَنبَأَهُمْ بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| آدم - "O Adam!| أنبئهم - Inform them| بأسمائهم - of their names."| فلما - And when| أنبأهم - he had informed them| بأسمائهم - of their names,| قال - He said,| ألم - "Did not| أقل - I say| لكم - to you,| إني - Indeed, I| أعلم - [I] know| غيب - (the) unseen| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| وأعلم - and I know| ما - what| تبدون - you reveal| وما - and what| كنتم - you [were]| تكتمون - conceal."| | ||||||
| 7 [2:57] | Wathallalna AAalaykumualghamama waanzalna AAalaykumu almanna waalssalwakuloo min tayyibati ma razaqnakum wamathalamoona walakin kanooanfusahum yathlimoona | وظللنا عليكم الغمام وأنزلنا عليكم المن والسلوى كلوا من طيبات ما رزقناكم وما ظلمونا ولكن كانوا أنفسهم يظلمون وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْغَمَامَ وَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوَى كُلُواْ مِن طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَـكِنْ كَانُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وظللنا - And We shaded| عليكم - [over] you| الغمام - (with) [the] clouds| وأنزلنا - and We sent down| عليكم - to you| المن - [the] manna| والسلوى - and [the] quails,| كلوا - "Eat| من - from| طيبات - (the) good things| ما - that| رزقناكم - We have provided you."| وما - And not| ظلمونا - they wronged Us,| ولكن - but| كانوا - they were| أنفسهم - (to) themselves| يظلمون - doing wrong.| | ||||||
| 8 [2:66] | FajaAAalnaha nakalanlima bayna yadayha wama khalfahawamawAAithatan lilmuttaqeena | فجعلناها نكالا لما بين يديها وما خلفها وموعظة للمتقين فَجَعَلْنَاهَا نَكَالاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فجعلناها - So We made it| نكالا - a deterrent punishment| لما - for those| بين - (in) front| يديها - (of) them| وما - and those| خلفها - after them| وموعظة - and an admonition| للمتقين - for those who fear (Allah).| | ||||||
| 9 [2:71] | Qala innahu yaqoolu innahabaqaratun la thaloolun tutheeru al-arda walatasqee alhartha musallamatun la shiyata feehaqaloo al-ana ji/ta bialhaqqi fathabahoohawama kadoo yafAAaloona | قال إنه يقول إنها بقرة لا ذلول تثير الأرض ولا تسقي الحرث مسلمة لا شية فيها قالوا الآن جئت بالحق فذبحوها وما كادوا يفعلون قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لاَّ ذَلُولٌ تُثِيرُ الْأَرْضَ وَلاَ تَسْقِي الْحَرْثَ مُسَلَّمَةٌ لاَّ شِيَةَ فِيهَا قَالُواْ الْآنَ جِئْتَ بِالْحَقِّ فَذَبَحُوهَا وَمَا كَادُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| إنه - "Indeed, He| يقول - says,| إنها - "[Indeed] it| بقرة - (is) a cow| لا - not| ذلول - trained| تثير - to plough| الأرض - the earth,| ولا - and not| تسقي - water| الحرث - the field;| مسلمة - sound,| لا - no| شية - blemish| فيها - in it."| قالوا - They said,| الآن - "Now| جئت - you have come| بالحق - with the truth."| فذبحوها - So they slaughtered it,| وما - and not| كادوا - they were near| يفعلون - (to) doing (it).| | ||||||
| 10 [2:74] | Thumma qasat quloobukum min baAAdi thalikafahiya kaalhijarati aw ashaddu qaswatanwa-inna mina alhijarati lama yatafajjaruminhu al-anharu wa-inna minha lamayashshaqqaqu fayakhruju minhu almao wa-inna minhalama yahbitu min khashyati Allahi wamaAllahu bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona | ثم قست قلوبكم من بعد ذلك فهي كالحجارة أو أشد قسوة وإن من الحجارة لما يتفجر منه الأنهار وإن منها لما يشقق فيخرج منه الماء وإن منها لما يهبط من خشية الله وما الله بغافل عما تعملون ثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوبُكُم مِّنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَهِيَ كَالْحِجَارَةِ أَوْ أَشَدُّ قَسْوَةً وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ الأَنْهَارُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ الْمَاءُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللّهِ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| قست - hardened| قلوبكم - your hearts| من - from| بعد - after| ذلك - that| فهي - so they| كالحجارة - (became) like [the] stones| أو - or| أشد - stronger| قسوة - (in) hardness.| وإن - And indeed,| من - from| الحجارة - the stones| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يتفجر - gush forth| منه - from it| الأنهار - [the] rivers,| وإن - and indeed,| منها - from them| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يشقق - split,| فيخرج - so comes out| منه - from it| الماء - [the] water,| وإن - and indeed,| منها - from them| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يهبط - fall down| من - from| خشية - fear| الله - (of) Allah.| وما - And not| الله - (is) Allah| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 11 [2:77] | Awa la yaAAlamoona anna AllahayaAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona | أولا يعلمون أن الله يعلم ما يسرون وما يعلنون أَوَلاَ يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ اللّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولا - Do not| يعلمون - they know| أن - that| الله - Allah| يعلم - knows| ما - what| يسرون - they conceal| وما - and what| يعلنون - they declare?| | ||||||
| 12 [2:85] | Thumma antum haola-itaqtuloona anfusakum watukhrijoona fareeqan minkum min diyarihimtathaharoona AAalayhim bial-ithmi waalAAudwaniwa-in ya/tookum osara tufadoohum wahuwa muharramunAAalaykum ikhrajuhum afatu/minoona bibaAAdi alkitabiwatakfuroona bibaAAdin fama jazao manyafAAalu thalika minkum illa khizyun fee alhayatialddunya wayawma alqiyamati yuraddoona ilaashaddi alAAathabi wama Allahu bighafilinAAamma taAAmaloona | ثم أنتم هؤلاء تقتلون أنفسكم وتخرجون فريقا منكم من ديارهم تظاهرون عليهم بالإثم والعدوان وإن يأتوكم أسارى تفادوهم وهو محرم عليكم إخراجهم أفتؤمنون ببعض الكتاب وتكفرون ببعض فما جزاء من يفعل ذلك منكم إلا خزي في الحياة الدنيا ويوم القيامة يردون إلى أشد العذاب وما الله بغافل عما تعملون ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ هَـؤُلَاءِ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتُخْرِجُونَ فَرِيقاً مِّنْكُمْ مِّنْ دِيَارِهِمْ تَظَاهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِم بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَإِنْ يَّأْتُوكُمْ أُسَارَى تُفَادُوهُمْ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ إِخْرَاجُهُمْ أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ الْكِتَابِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍ فَمَا جَزَاءُ مَنْ يَّفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ مِنكُمْ إِلاَّ خِزْيٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَى أَشَدِّ الْعَذَابِ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| أنتم - you| هؤلاء - (are) those| تقتلون - (who) kill| أنفسكم - yourselves| وتخرجون - and evict| فريقا - a party| منكم - of you| من - from| ديارهم - their homes,| تظاهرون - you support one another| عليهم - against them| بالإثم - in sin| والعدوان - and [the] transgression.| وإن - And if| يأتوكم - they come to you| أسارى - (as) captives,| تفادوهم - you ransom them,| وهو - while it| محرم - (was) forbidden| عليكم - to you| إخراجهم - their eviction.| أفتؤمنون - So do you believe| ببعض - in part (of)| الكتاب - the Book| وتكفرون - and disbelieve| ببعض - in part?| فما - Then what| جزاء - (should be the) recompense| من - (for the one) who| يفعل - does| ذلك - that| منكم - among you,| إلا - except| خزي - disgrace| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world;| ويوم - and (on the) Day| القيامة - of [the] Resurrection| يردون - they will be sent back| إلى - to| أشد - (the) most severe| العذاب - punishment?| وما - And not| الله - (is) Allah| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 13 [2:96] | Walatajidannahum ahrasa alnnasiAAala hayatin wamina allatheenaashrakoo yawaddu ahaduhum law yuAAammaru alfa sanatin wamahuwa bimuzahzihihi mina alAAathabi anyuAAammara waAllahu baseerun bimayaAAmaloona | ولتجدنهم أحرص الناس على حياة ومن الذين أشركوا يود أحدهم لو يعمر ألف سنة وما هو بمزحزحه من العذاب أن يعمر والله بصير بما يعملون وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ النَّاسِ عَلَى حَيَاةٍ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ أَنْ يُّعَمَّرَ وَاللّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولتجدنهم - And surely you will find them| أحرص - (the) most greedy| الناس - (of) [the] mankind| على - for| حياة - life,| ومن - and (greedier) than| الذين - those who| أشركوا - associate[d] partners (with Allah).| يود - Loves| أحدهم - (each) one of them| لو - if| يعمر - he could be granted a life| ألف - (of) a thousand| سنة - year(s).| وما - But not| هو - it| بمزحزحه - (will) remove him| من - from| العذاب - the punishment| أن - that| يعمر - he should be granted life.| والله - And Allah| بصير - (is) All-Seer| بما - of what| يعملون - they do.| | ||||||
| 14 [2:99] | Walaqad anzalna ilayka ayatinbayyinatin wama yakfuru biha illa alfasiqoona | ولقد أنزلنا إليك آيات بينات وما يكفر بها إلا الفاسقون وَلَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ وَمَا يَكْفُرُ بِهَا إِلاَّ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And indeed| أنزلنا - We revealed| إليك - to you| آيات - Verses| بينات - clear,| وما - and not| يكفر - disbelieves| بها - in them| إلا - except| الفاسقون - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 15 [2:102] | WaittabaAAoo ma tatloo alshshayateenuAAala mulki sulaymana wama kafara sulaymanuwalakinna alshshayateena kafarooyuAAallimoona alnnasa alssihra wamaonzila AAala almalakayni bibabila harootawamaroota wama yuAAallimani min ahadinhatta yaqoola innama nahnufitnatun fala takfur fayataAAallamoona minhuma mayufarriqoona bihi bayna almar-i wazawjihi wama hum bidarreenabihi min ahadin illa bi-ithni AllahiwayataAAallamoona ma yadurruhum walayanfaAAuhum walaqad AAalimoo lamani ishtarahu malahu fee al-akhirati min khalaqin walabi/sa masharaw bihi anfusahum law kanoo yaAAlamoona | واتبعوا ما تتلو الشياطين على ملك سليمان وما كفر سليمان ولكن الشياطين كفروا يعلمون الناس السحر وما أنزل على الملكين ببابل هاروت وماروت وما يعلمان من أحد حتى يقولا إنما نحن فتنة فلا تكفر فيتعلمون منهما ما يفرقون به بين المرء وزوجه وما هم بضارين به من أحد إلا بإذن الله ويتعلمون ما يضرهم ولا ينفعهم ولقد علموا لمن اشتراه ما له في الآخرة من خلاق ولبئس ما شروا به أنفسهم لو كانوا يعلمون وَاتَّبَعُواْ مَا تَتْلُواْ الشَّيَاطِينُ عَلَى مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَانَ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَلَـكِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوتَ وَمَارُوتَ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّى يَقُولاَ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلاَ تَكْفُرْ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلاَ يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُواْ لَمَنِ اشْتَرَاهُ مَا لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاَقٍ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْاْ بِهِ أَنفُسَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُواْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واتبعوا - And they followed| ما - what| تتلو - recite(d)| الشياطين - the devils| على - over| ملك - (the) kingdom| سليمان - (of) Sulaiman.| وما - And not| كفر - disbelieved| سليمان - Sulaiman| ولكن - [and] but| الشياطين - the devils| كفروا - disbelieved,| يعلمون - they teach| الناس - the people| السحر - [the] magic| وما - and what| أنزل - was sent down| على - to| الملكين - the two angels| ببابل - in Babylon,| هاروت - Harut| وماروت - and Marut.| وما - And not| يعلمان - they both teach| من - any| أحد - one| حتى - unless| يقولا - they [both] say,| إنما - "Only| نحن - we| فتنة - (are) a trial,| فلا - so (do) not| تكفر - disbelieve."| فيتعلمون - But they learn| منهما - from those two| ما - what| يفرقون - [they] causes separation| به - with it| بين - between| المرء - the man| وزوجه - and his spouse.| وما - And not| هم - they (could)| بضارين - at all [be those who] harm| به - with it| من - any| أحد - one| إلا - except| بإذن - by permission| الله - (of) Allah.| ويتعلمون - And they learn| ما - what| يضرهم - harms them| ولا - and not| ينفعهم - profits them.| ولقد - And indeed| علموا - they knew| لمن - that whoever| اشتراه - buys it,| ما - not| له - for him| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| من - any| خلاق - share.| ولبئس - And surely evil| ما - (is) what| شروا - they sold| به - with it| أنفسهم - themselves,| لو - if| كانوا - they were| يعلمون - (to) know.| | ||||||
| 16 [2:107] | Alam taAAlam anna Allaha lahu mulkualssamawati waal-ardi wamalakum min dooni Allahi min waliyyin wala naseerin | ألم تعلم أن الله له ملك السماوات والأرض وما لكم من دون الله من ولي ولا نصير أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللّهَ لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ | |||||

| 17 [2:110] | Waaqeemoo alssalata waatooalzzakata wama tuqaddimoo li-anfusikum minkhayrin tajidoohu AAinda Allahi inna Allaha bimataAAmaloona baseerun | وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة وما تقدموا لأنفسكم من خير تجدوه عند الله إن الله بما تعملون بصير وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |وأقيموا - And establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتوا - and give| الزكاة - [the] zakah.| وما - And whatever| تقدموا - you send forth| لأنفسكم - for yourselves| من - of| خير - good (deeds),| تجدوه - you will find it| عند - with| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 18 [2:135] | Waqaloo koonoo hoodan aw nasaratahtadoo qul bal millata ibraheema haneefan wamakana mina almushrikeena | وقالوا كونوا هودا أو نصارى تهتدوا قل بل ملة إبراهيم حنيفا وما كان من المشركين وَقَالُواْ كُونُواْ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَى تَهْتَدُواْ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| كونوا - "Be| هودا - Jews| أو - or| نصارى - Christians,| تهتدوا - (then) you will be guided."| قل - Say,| بل - "Nay,| ملة - (the) religion| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim,| حنيفا - (the) upright;| وما - and not| كان - he was| من - of| المشركين - those who associated partners (with Allah)."| | ||||||
| 19 [2:136] | Qooloo amanna biAllahiwama onzila ilayna wama onzila ilaibraheema wa-ismaAAeela wa-ishaqawayaAAqooba waal-asbati wama ootiya moosawaAAeesa wama ootiya alnnabiyyoona minrabbihim la nufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnulahu muslimoona | قولوا آمنا بالله وما أنزل إلينا وما أنزل إلى إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق ويعقوب والأسباط وما أوتي موسى وعيسى وما أوتي النبيون من ربهم لا نفرق بين أحد منهم ونحن له مسلمون قُولُواْ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَى وَعِيسَى وَمَا أُوتِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||

| 20 [2:140] | Am taqooloona inna ibraheema wa-ismaAAeelawa-ishaqa wayaAAqooba waal-asbata kanoohoodan aw nasara qul aantum aAAlamu ami Allahuwaman athlamu mimman katama shahadatanAAindahu mina Allahi wama Allahu bighafilinAAamma taAAmaloona | أم تقولون إن إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق ويعقوب والأسباط كانوا هودا أو نصارى قل أأنتم أعلم أم الله ومن أظلم ممن كتم شهادة عنده من الله وما الله بغافل عما تعملون أَمْ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَـقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالأَسْبَاطَ كَانُواْ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَى قُلْ أَأَنتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ اللّهُ وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَتَمَ شَهَادَةً عِندَهُ مِنَ اللّهِ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
