| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:135] | Waqaloo koonoo hoodan aw nasaratahtadoo qul bal millata ibraheema haneefan wamakana mina almushrikeena
|  وقالوا كونوا هودا أو نصارى تهتدوا قل بل ملة إبراهيم حنيفا وما كان من المشركين
وَقَالُواْ كُونُواْ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَى تَهْتَدُواْ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ |
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| كونوا - "Be| هودا - Jews| أو - or| نصارى - Christians,| تهتدوا - (then) you will be guided."| قل - Say,| بل - "Nay,| ملة - (the) religion| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim,| حنيفا - (the) upright;| وما - and not| كان - he was| من - of| المشركين - those who associated partners (with Allah)."| |

| «አይሁድን ወይም ክርስቲያኖችን ኹኑ፤ (ቅኑን መንገድ) ትመራላችሁና» አሉም፡፡ «አይደለም የኢብራሂምን ሃይማኖት ቀጥተኛ ሲኾን እንከተላለን፤ ከአጋሪዎችም አልነበረም» በላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وقالوا كونوا هودا أو نصارى تهتدوا } أو للتفضيل وقائل الأول يهود المدينة والثاني نصارى نجران { قل } لهم { بل } نتبع { ملة إبراهيم حنيفا } حال من إبراهيم مائلا عن الأديان كلها إلى الدين القيّم { وما كان من المشركين } . |
| Nnan: "ilit d udayen ne$ d imasiêiyen, a ppepwanhum". Ini: "Xaîi, maca ddin n Ibôahim, imalen ar tidep. Ur illi seg imcurak". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলে, তোমরা ইহুদী অথবা খ্রীষ্টান হয়ে যাও, তবেই সুপথ পাবে। আপনি বলুন, কখনই নয়; বরং আমরা ইব্রাহীমের ধর্মে আছি যাতে বক্রতা নেই। সে মুশরিকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল না। |
| Literal | And they said: "Be Jews or Christians, you will be guided." Say: "But Abraham's religion/faith submitter/unifier of God , and he was not from the sharers (with God) ." |
