| 1 [2:20] | Yakadu albarqu yakhtafu absarahumkullama adaa lahum mashaw feehi wa-itha athlamaAAalayhim qamoo walaw shaa Allahu lathahababisamAAihim waabsarihim inna Allaha AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun |  يكاد البرق يخطف أبصارهم كلما أضاء لهم مشوا فيه وإذا أظلم عليهم قاموا ولو شاء الله لذهب بسمعهم وأبصارهم إن الله على كل شيء قديريَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ كُلَّمَا أَضَاءَ لَهُم مَّشَوْاْ فِيهِ وَإِذَا أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُواْ وَلَوْ شَاء اللّهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّه عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |يكاد - Almost| البرق - the lightning| يخطف - snatches away| أبصارهم - their sight.| كلما - Whenever| أضاء - it flashes| لهم - for them| مشوا - they walk| فيه - in it,| وإذا - and when| أظلم - it darkens| عليهم - on them| قاموا - they stand (still).| ولو - And if| شاء - had willed| الله - Allah,| لذهب - He would certainly have taken away| بسمعهم - their hearing,| وأبصارهم - and their sight.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:103] | Walaw annahum amanoo waittaqawlamathoobatun min AAindi Allahi khayrun law kanooyaAAlamoona | ولو أنهم آمنوا واتقوا لمثوبة من عند الله خير لو كانوا يعلمون وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُواْ واتَّقَوْا لَمَثُوبَةٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّه خَيْرٌ لَّوْ كَانُواْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنهم - [that] they| آمنوا - (had) believed| واتقوا - and feared (Allah),| لمثوبة - surely (the) reward| من - (of)| عند - from| الله - Allah| خير - (would have been) better,| لو - if| كانوا - they were| يعلمون - (to) know.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:165] | Wamina alnnasi man yattakhithumin dooni Allahi andadan yuhibboonahum kahubbiAllahi waallatheena amanoo ashaddu hubbanlillahi walaw yara allatheena thalamooith yarawna alAAathaba anna alquwwata lillahijameeAAan waanna Allaha shadeedu alAAathabi | ومن الناس من يتخذ من دون الله أندادا يحبونهم كحب الله والذين آمنوا أشد حبا لله ولو يرى الذين ظلموا إذ يرون العذاب أن القوة لله جميعا وأن الله شديد العذاب وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ أَندَاداً يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ اللّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلّهِ وَلَوْ يَرَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ إِذْ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ أَنَّ الْقُوَّةَ لِلّهِ جَمِيعاً وَأَنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعَذَابِ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| الناس - the mankind| من - who| يتخذ - takes| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah| أندادا - equals.| يحبونهم - They love them| كحب - as (they should) love| الله - Allah.| والذين - And those who| آمنوا - believe[d]| أشد - (are) stronger| حبا - (in) love| لله - for Allah.| ولو - And if| يرى - would see| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged,| إذ - when| يرون - they will see| العذاب - the punishment| أن - that| القوة - the power| لله - (belongs) to Allah| جميعا - all| وأن - and [that]| الله - Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العذاب - (in) [the] punishment.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:220] | Fee alddunya waal-akhiratiwayas-aloonaka AAani alyatama qul islahunlahum khayrun wa-in tukhalitoohum fa-ikhwanukumwaAllahu yaAAlamu almufsida mina almuslihiwalaw shaa Allahu laaAAnatakum inna AllahaAAazeezun hakeemun | في الدنيا والآخرة ويسألونك عن اليتامى قل إصلاح لهم خير وإن تخالطوهم فإخوانكم والله يعلم المفسد من المصلح ولو شاء الله لأعنتكم إن الله عزيز حكيم فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْيَتَامَى قُلْ إِصْلاَحٌ لَّهُمْ خَيْرٌ وَإِنْ تُخَالِطُوهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْمُفْسِدَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَأَعْنَتَكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |في - Concerning| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| ويسألونك - They ask you| عن - about| اليتامى - the orphans.| قل - Say,| إصلاح - "Setting right (their affairs)| لهم - for them| خير - (is) best.| وإن - And if| تخالطوهم - you associate with them| فإخوانكم - then they (are) your brothers.| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows| المفسد - the corrupter| من - from| المصلح - the amender.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| لأعنتكم - surely He (could have) put you in difficulties.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| حكيم - All-Wise."| | ||||||
| 5 [2:221] | Wala tankihoo almushrikatihatta yu/minna walaamatun mu/minatun khayrun minmushrikatin walaw aAAjabatkum wala tunkihooalmushrikeena hatta yu/minoo walaAAabdun mu/minunkhayrun min mushrikin walaw aAAjabakum ola-ika yadAAoonaila alnnari waAllahu yadAAooila aljannati waalmaghfirati bi-ithnihiwayubayyinu ayatihi lilnnasilaAAallahum yatathakkaroona | ولا تنكحوا المشركات حتى يؤمن ولأمة مؤمنة خير من مشركة ولو أعجبتكم ولا تنكحوا المشركين حتى يؤمنوا ولعبد مؤمن خير من مشرك ولو أعجبكم أولئك يدعون إلى النار والله يدعو إلى الجنة والمغفرة بإذنه ويبين آياته للناس لعلهم يتذكرون وَلاَ تَنكِحُواْ الْمُشْرِكَاتِ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَّ وَلَأَمَةٌ مُّؤْمِنَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن مُّشْرِكَةٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ وَلاَ تُنكِحُواْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنُواْ وَلَعَبْدٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن مُّشْرِكٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكُمْ أُوْلَـئِكَ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى النَّارِ وَاللّهُ يَدْعُوَ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَالْمَغْفِرَةِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَيُبَيِّنُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تنكحوا - [you] marry| المشركات - [the] polytheistic women| حتى - until| يؤمن - they believe.| ولأمة - And a bondwoman| مؤمنة - (who is) believing| خير - (is) better| من - than| مشركة - a polytheistic woman| ولو - [and] even if| أعجبتكم - she pleases you.| ولا - And (do) not| تنكحوا - give in marriage (your women)| المشركين - (to) [the] polytheistic men| حتى - until| يؤمنوا - they believe,| ولعبد - and a bondman| مؤمن - (who is) believing| خير - (is) better| من - than| مشرك - a polytheistic man| ولو - [and] even if| أعجبكم - he pleases you.| أولئك - [Those]| يدعون - they invite| إلى - to| النار - the Fire,| والله - and Allah| يدعو - invites| إلى - to| الجنة - Paradise| والمغفرة - and [the] forgiveness| بإذنه - by His permission.| ويبين - And He makes clear| آياته - His Verses| للناس - for the people| لعلهم - so that they may| يتذكرون - take heed.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:253] | Tilka alrrusulu faddalnabaAAdahum AAala baAAdin minhum man kallamaAllahu warafaAAa baAAdahum darajatin waataynaAAeesa ibna maryama albayyinati waayyadnahubiroohi alqudusi walaw shaa Allahu maiqtatala allatheena min baAAdihim min baAAdi ma jaat-humualbayyinatu walakini ikhtalafoo faminhum man amanawaminhum man kafara walaw shaa Allahu maiqtataloo walakinna Allaha yafAAalu mayureedu | تلك الرسل فضلنا بعضهم على بعض منهم من كلم الله ورفع بعضهم درجات وآتينا عيسى ابن مريم البينات وأيدناه بروح القدس ولو شاء الله ما اقتتل الذين من بعدهم من بعد ما جاءتهم البينات ولكن اختلفوا فمنهم من آمن ومنهم من كفر ولو شاء الله ما اقتتلوا ولكن الله يفعل ما يريد تِلْكَ الرُّسُلُ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ مِّنْهُم مَّن كَلَّمَ اللّهُ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَهُمْ دَرَجَاتٍ وَآتَيْنَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ مَا اقْتَتَلَ الَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَلَـكِنِ اخْتَلَفُواْ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ آمَنَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن كَفَرَ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ مَا اقْتَتَلُواْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ | |||||
| Words | |تلك - These| الرسل - (are) the Messengers| فضلنا - We (have) preferred| بعضهم - some of them| على - over| بعض - others.| منهم - Among them| من - (were those with) whom| كلم - spoke| الله - Allah,| ورفع - and He raised| بعضهم - some of them| درجات - (in) degrees.| وآتينا - And We gave| عيسى - Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| البينات - the clear proofs| وأيدناه - and We supported him| بروح - with Spirit| القدس - [the] Holy.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| ما - not| اقتتل - (would have) fought each other| الذين - those who| من - (came) from| بعدهم - after them,| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| جاءتهم - came to them| البينات - the clear proofs.| ولكن - [And] but| اختلفوا - they differed,| فمنهم - [so] of them| من - (are some) who| آمن - believed| ومنهم - and of them| من - (are some) who| كفر - denied.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| ما - not| اقتتلوا - they (would have) fought each other,| ولكن - [and] but| الله - Allah| يفعل - does| ما - what| يريد - He intends.| | ||||||
| 7 [3:91] | Inna allatheena kafaroo wamatoowahum kuffarun falan yuqbala min ahadihim miloal-ardi thahaban walawi iftada bihi ola-ikalahum AAathabun aleemun wama lahum min nasireena | إن الذين كفروا وماتوا وهم كفار فلن يقبل من أحدهم ملء الأرض ذهبا ولو افتدى به أولئك لهم عذاب أليم وما لهم من ناصرين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِم مِّلْءُ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا وَلَوِ افْتَدَى بِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| وماتوا - and died| وهم - while they| كفار - (are) disbelievers,| فلن - then never| يقبل - will be accepted| من - from| أحدهم - any one of them| ملء - full| الأرض - earth| ذهبا - (of) gold| ولو - [and] (even) if| افتدى - he offered as ransom| به - it.| أولئك - Those -| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful| وما - and not| لهم - (will be) for them| من - any| ناصرين - helpers.| | ||||||
| 8 [3:110] | Kuntum khayra ommatin okhrijat lilnnasita/muroona bialmaAAroofi watanhawna AAani almunkariwatu/minoona biAllahi walaw amana ahlu alkitabilakana khayran lahum minhumu almu/minoona waaktharuhumualfasiqoona | كنتم خير أمة أخرجت للناس تأمرون بالمعروف وتنهون عن المنكر وتؤمنون بالله ولو آمن أهل الكتاب لكان خيرا لهم منهم المؤمنون وأكثرهم الفاسقون كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَلَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم مِّنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كنتم - You are| خير - (the) best| أمة - (of) people| أخرجت - raised| للناس - for the mankind -| تأمرون - enjoining| بالمعروف - the right| وتنهون - and forbidding| عن - [from]| المنكر - the wrong| وتؤمنون - and believing| بالله - in Allah.| ولو - And if| آمن - believed| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Book| لكان - surely would have been| خيرا - good| لهم - for them.| منهم - Among them| المؤمنون - (are) [the] believers,| وأكثرهم - but most of them| الفاسقون - (are) defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 9 [3:159] | Fabima rahmatin mina Allahilinta lahum walaw kunta faththan ghaleethaalqalbi lainfaddoo min hawlika faoAAfuAAanhum waistaghfir lahum washawirhum fee al-amrifa-itha AAazamta fatawakkal AAala Allahiinna Allaha yuhibbu almutawakkileena | فبما رحمة من الله لنت لهم ولو كنت فظا غليظ القلب لانفضوا من حولك فاعف عنهم واستغفر لهم وشاورهم في الأمر فإذا عزمت فتوكل على الله إن الله يحب المتوكلين فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْ وَلَوْ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لاَنفَضُّواْ مِنْ حَوْلِكَ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فبما - So because| رحمة - (of) Mercy| من - from| الله - Allah| لنت - you dealt gently| لهم - with them.| ولو - And if| كنت - you had been| فظا - rude| غليظ - (and) harsh| القلب - (at) [the] heart,| لانفضوا - surely they (would have) dispersed| من - from| حولك - around you.| فاعف - Then pardon| عنهم - [from] them| واستغفر - and ask forgiveness| لهم - for them| وشاورهم - and consult them| في - in| الأمر - the matter.| فإذا - Then when| عزمت - you have decided,| فتوكل - then put trust| على - on| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يحب - loves| المتوكلين - the ones who put trust (in Him).| | ||||||
| 10 [4:46] | Mina allatheena hadoo yuharrifoonaalkalima AAan mawadiAAihi wayaqooloona samiAAnawaAAasayna waismaAA ghayra musmaAAin waraAAinalayyan bi-alsinatihim wataAAnan fee alddeeni walawannahum qaloo samiAAna waataAAna waismaAAwaonthurna lakana khayranlahum waaqwama walakin laAAanahumu Allahubikufrihim fala yu/minoona illa qaleelan | من الذين هادوا يحرفون الكلم عن مواضعه ويقولون سمعنا وعصينا واسمع غير مسمع وراعنا ليا بألسنتهم وطعنا في الدين ولو أنهم قالوا سمعنا وأطعنا واسمع وانظرنا لكان خيرا لهم وأقوم ولكن لعنهم الله بكفرهم فلا يؤمنون إلا قليلا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ وَرَاعِنَا لَيًّا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًا فِي الدِّينِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانْظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ وَلَكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ اللّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |من - Of| الذين - those who| هادوا - are Jews,| يحرفون - they distort| الكلم - the words| عن - from| مواضعه - their places| ويقولون - and they say,| سمعنا - "We hear[d]| وعصينا - and we disobey[ed]"| واسمع - and "Hear| غير - not| مسمع - to be heard| وراعنا - and "Raina"| ليا - twisting| بألسنتهم - [with] their tongues| وطعنا - and defaming| في - [in]| الدين - the religion.| ولو - And if| أنهم - [that] they| قالوا - (had) said,| سمعنا - "We hear[d]| وأطعنا - and we obey[ed]"| واسمع - and "Hear| وانظرنا - and look (at) us,"| لكان - surely it (would) have been| خيرا - better| لهم - for them| وأقوم - and more suitable.| ولكن - [And] but| لعنهم - cursed them| الله - Allah| بكفرهم - for their disbelief,| فلا - so not| يؤمنون - they believe| إلا - except| قليلا - a few.| | ||||||
| 11 [4:64] | Wama arsalna min rasoolin illaliyutaAAa bi-ithni Allahi walaw annahum iththalamoo anfusahum jaooka faistaghfarooAllaha waistaghfara lahumu alrrasoolulawajadoo Allaha tawwaban raheeman | وما أرسلنا من رسول إلا ليطاع بإذن الله ولو أنهم إذ ظلموا أنفسهم جاءوك فاستغفروا الله واستغفر لهم الرسول لوجدوا الله توابا رحيما وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ لِيُطَاعَ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذ ظَّلَمُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ جَآؤُوكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُواْ اللّهَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُواْ اللّهَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| أرسلنا - We sent| من - any| رسول - Messenger| إلا - except| ليطاع - to be obeyed| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| ولو - And if| أنهم - [that] they,| إذ - when| ظلموا - they wronged| أنفسهم - themselves,| جاءوك - (had) come to you| فاستغفروا - and asked forgiveness| الله - (of) Allah,| واستغفر - and asked forgiveness| لهم - for them| الرسول - the Messenger,| لوجدوا - surely they would have found| الله - Allah| توابا - Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 12 [4:66] | Walaw anna katabna AAalayhimani oqtuloo anfusakum awi okhrujoo min diyarikum mafaAAaloohu illa qaleelun minhum walaw annahum faAAaloo mayooAAathoona bihi lakana khayran lahumwaashadda tathbeetan | ولو أنا كتبنا عليهم أن اقتلوا أنفسكم أو اخرجوا من دياركم ما فعلوه إلا قليل منهم ولو أنهم فعلوا ما يوعظون به لكان خيرا لهم وأشد تثبيتا وَلَوْ أَنَّا كَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَنِ اقْتُلُواْ أَنفُسَكُمْ أَوِ اخْرُجُواْ مِن دِيَارِكُم مَّا فَعَلُوهُ إِلاَّ قَلِيلٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ فَعَلُواْ مَا يُوعَظُونَ بِهِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ تَثْبِيتًا | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنا - [that] We| كتبنا - (had) decreed| عليهم - on them| أن - that,| اقتلوا - "Kill| أنفسكم - yourselves"| أو - or| اخرجوا - "Go forth| من - from| دياركم - your homes,"| ما - not| فعلوه - they would have done it| إلا - except| قليل - a few| منهم - of them.| ولو - But if| أنهم - [that] they| فعلوا - had done| ما - what| يوعظون - they were advised| به - with [it],| لكان - surely (it) would have been| خيرا - better| لهم - for them| وأشد - and stronger| تثبيتا - strengthen(ing).| | ||||||
| 13 [4:78] | Aynama takoonoo yudrikkumu almawtuwalaw kuntum fee buroojin mushayyadatin wa-in tusibhum hasanatunyaqooloo hathihi min AAindi Allahi wa-in tusibhumsayyi-atun yaqooloo hathihi min AAindika qul kullun minAAindi Allahi famali haola-i alqawmila yakadoona yafqahoona hadeethan | أينما تكونوا يدرككم الموت ولو كنتم في بروج مشيدة وإن تصبهم حسنة يقولوا هذه من عند الله وإن تصبهم سيئة يقولوا هذه من عندك قل كل من عند الله فمال هؤلاء القوم لا يكادون يفقهون حديثا أَيْنَمَا تَكُونُواْ يُدْرِككُّمُ الْمَوْتُ وَلَوْ كُنتُمْ فِي بُرُوجٍ مُّشَيَّدَةٍ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ حَسَنَةٌ يَقُولُواْ هَـذِهِ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَقُولُواْ هَـذِهِ مِنْ عِندِكَ قُلْ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ اللّهِ فَمَا لِهَـؤُلاَءِ الْقَوْمِ لاَ يَكَادُونَ يَفْقَهُونَ حَدِيثًا | |||||

| 14 [4:82] | Afala yatadabbaroona alqur-anawalaw kana min AAindi ghayri Allahi lawajadoo feehiikhtilafan katheeran | أفلا يتدبرون القرآن ولو كان من عند غير الله لوجدوا فيه اختلافا كثيرا أَفَلاَ يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ غَيْرِ اللّهِ لَوَجَدُواْ فِيهِ اخْتِلاَفًا كَثِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |أفلا - Then (do) not| يتدبرون - they ponder| القرآن - (on) the Quran?| ولو - And if| كان - it had (been)| من - (of)| عند - from| غير - other than| الله - Allah,| لوجدوا - surely they (would have) found| فيه - in it| اختلافا - contradiction,| كثيرا - much.| | ||||||
| 15 [4:83] | Wa-itha jaahum amrun minaal-amni awi alkhawfi athaAAoo bihi walaw raddoohu ilaalrrasooli wa-ila olee al-amri minhum laAAalimahuallatheena yastanbitoonahu minhum walawla fadluAllahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu laittabaAAtumualshshaytana illa qaleelan | وإذا جاءهم أمر من الأمن أو الخوف أذاعوا به ولو ردوه إلى الرسول وإلى أولي الأمر منهم لعلمه الذين يستنبطونه منهم ولولا فضل الله عليكم ورحمته لاتبعتم الشيطان إلا قليلا وَإِذَا جَاءَهُمْ أَمْرٌ مِّنَ الْأَمْنِ أَوِ الْخَوْفِ أَذَاعُواْ بِهِ وَلَوْ رَدُّوهُ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ وَإِلَى أُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِمَهُ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَنبِطُونَهُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَوْلاَ فَضْلُ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لاَتَّبَعْتُمُ الشَّيْطَانَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| جاءهم - comes to them| أمر - a matter| من - of| الأمن - the security| أو - or| الخوف - [the] fear| أذاعوا - they spread| به - [with] it.| ولو - But if| ردوه - they (had) referred it| إلى - to| الرسول - the Messenger| وإلى - and to| أولي - those| الأمر - (having) authority| منهم - among them,| لعلمه - surely would have known it| الذين - those who| يستنبطونه - draw correct conclusion (from) it| منهم - among them.| ولولا - And if not| فضل - (had been the) bounty| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - on you| ورحمته - and His Mercy,| لاتبعتم - surely you (would have) followed| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| إلا - except| قليلا - a few.| | ||||||
| 16 [4:90] | Illa allatheena yasiloonaila qawmin baynakum wabaynahum meethaqun aw jaookumhasirat sudooruhum an yuqatilookum awyuqatiloo qawmahum walaw shaa Allahu lasallatahumAAalaykum falaqatalookum fa-ini iAAtazalookum falam yuqatilookumwaalqaw ilaykumu alssalama fama jaAAala Allahulakum AAalayhim sabeelan | إلا الذين يصلون إلى قوم بينكم وبينهم ميثاق أو جاءوكم حصرت صدورهم أن يقاتلوكم أو يقاتلوا قومهم ولو شاء الله لسلطهم عليكم فلقاتلوكم فإن اعتزلوكم فلم يقاتلوكم وألقوا إليكم السلم فما جعل الله لكم عليهم سبيلا إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُم مِّيثَاقٌ أَوْ جَآؤُوكُمْ حَصِرَتْ صُدُورُهُمْ أَن يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ أَوْ يُقَاتِلُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَسَلَّطَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ فَلَقَاتَلُوكُمْ فَإِنِ اعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ وَأَلْقَوْاْ إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ اللّهُ لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| الذين - those who| يصلون - join| إلى - [to]| قوم - a group| بينكم - between you| وبينهم - and between them| ميثاق - (is) a treaty| أو - or| جاءوكم - those who come to you| حصرت - restraining| صدورهم - their hearts| أن - that| يقاتلوكم - they fight you| أو - or| يقاتلوا - they fight| قومهم - their people.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah,| لسلطهم - surely He (would have) given them power| عليكم - over you,| فلقاتلوكم - and surely they (would have) fought you.| فإن - So if| اعتزلوكم - they withdraw from you| فلم - and (do) not| يقاتلوكم - fight against you| وألقوا - and offer| إليكم - to you| السلم - [the] peace| فما - then not| جعل - (has) made| الله - Allah| لكم - for you| عليهم - against them| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 17 [4:129] | Walan tastateeAAoo an taAAdiloobayna alnnisa-i walaw harastum falatameeloo kulla almayli fatatharooha kaalmuAAallaqatiwa-in tuslihoo watattaqoo fa-inna Allaha kanaghafooran raheeman | ولن تستطيعوا أن تعدلوا بين النساء ولو حرصتم فلا تميلوا كل الميل فتذروها كالمعلقة وإن تصلحوا وتتقوا فإن الله كان غفورا رحيما وَلَن تَسْتَطِيعُواْ أَن تَعْدِلُواْ بَيْنَ النِّسَاءِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتُمْ فَلاَ تَمِيلُواْ كُلَّ الْمَيْلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَالْمُعَلَّقَةِ وَإِن تُصْلِحُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||

| 18 [4:135] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookoonoo qawwameena bialqisti shuhadaalillahi walaw AAala anfusikum awi alwalidayniwaal-aqrabeena in yakun ghaniyyan aw faqeeran faAllahuawla bihima fala tattabiAAoo alhawaan taAAdiloo wa-in talwoo aw tuAAridoo fa-inna Allahakana bima taAAmaloona khabeeran | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كونوا قوامين بالقسط شهداء لله ولو على أنفسكم أو الوالدين والأقربين إن يكن غنيا أو فقيرا فالله أولى بهما فلا تتبعوا الهوى أن تعدلوا وإن تلووا أو تعرضوا فإن الله كان بما تعملون خبيرا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ لِلّهِ وَلَوْ عَلَى أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ إِن يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَاللّهُ أَوْلَى بِهِمَا فَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ الْهَوَى أَن تَعْدِلُواْ وَإِن تَلْوُواْ أَوْ تُعْرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا | |||||

| 19 [5:48] | Waanzalna ilayka alkitaba bialhaqqimusaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi mina alkitabiwamuhayminan AAalayhi faohkum baynahum bimaanzala Allahu wala tattabiAA ahwaahum AAammajaaka mina alhaqqi likullin jaAAalna minkumshirAAatan waminhajan walaw shaa AllahulajaAAalakum ommatan wahidatan walakin liyabluwakumfeema atakum faistabiqoo alkhayratiila Allahi marjiAAukum jameeAAan fayunabbi-okum bimakuntum feehi takhtalifoona | وأنزلنا إليك الكتاب بالحق مصدقا لما بين يديه من الكتاب ومهيمنا عليه فاحكم بينهم بما أنزل الله ولا تتبع أهواءهم عما جاءك من الحق لكل جعلنا منكم شرعة ومنهاجا ولو شاء الله لجعلكم أمة واحدة ولكن ليبلوكم في ما آتاكم فاستبقوا الخيرات إلى الله مرجعكم جميعا فينبئكم بما كنتم فيه تختلفون وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَـكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَآ آتَاكُم فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ إِلَى اللهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأنزلنا - And We revealed| إليك - to you| الكتاب - the Book| بالحق - in [the] truth,| مصدقا - confirming| لما - what| بين - (was) before| يديه - his hands| من - of| الكتاب - the Book| ومهيمنا - and a guardian| عليه - over it.| فاحكم - So judge| بينهم - between them| بما - by what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah| ولا - and (do) not| تتبع - follow| أهواءهم - their vain desires| عما - when| جاءك - has come to you| من - of| الحق - the truth.| لكل - For each| جعلنا - We have made| منكم - for you| شرعة - a law| ومنهاجا - and a clear way.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| لجعلكم - He (would have) made you| أمة - a community,| واحدة - one,| ولكن - [and] but| ليبلوكم - to test you| في - in| ما - what| آتاكم - He (has) given you,| فاستبقوا - so race| الخيرات - (to) the good.| إلى - To| الله - Allah| مرجعكم - you will return,| جميعا - all,| فينبئكم - then He will inform you| بما - of what| كنتم - you were| فيه - concerning it| تختلفون - differing.| | ||||||
| 20 [5:65] | Walaw anna ahla alkitabi amanoowaittaqaw lakaffarna AAanhum sayyi-atihimwalaadkhalnahum jannati alnnaAAeemi | ولو أن أهل الكتاب آمنوا واتقوا لكفرنا عنهم سيئاتهم ولأدخلناهم جنات النعيم وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ آمَنُواْ وَاتَّقَوْاْ لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَاهُمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ | |||||
