بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [3:91] | Inna allatheena kafaroo wamatoowahum kuffarun falan yuqbala min ahadihim miloal-ardi thahaban walawi iftada bihi ola-ikalahum AAathabun aleemun wama lahum min nasireena
| إن الذين كفروا وماتوا وهم كفار فلن يقبل من أحدهم ملء الأرض ذهبا ولو افتدى به أولئك لهم عذاب أليم وما لهم من ناصرين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِم مِّلْءُ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا وَلَوِ افْتَدَى بِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ |
Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| وماتوا - and died| وهم - while they| كفار - (are) disbelievers,| فلن - then never| يقبل - will be accepted| من - from| أحدهم - any one of them| ملء - full| الأرض - earth| ذهبا - (of) gold| ولو - [and] (even) if| افتدى - he offered as ransom| به - it.| أولئك - Those -| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful| وما - and not| لهم - (will be) for them| من - any| ناصرين - helpers.| |

| እነዚያ የካዱና እነርሱም በክህደታቸው ላይ እንዳሉ የሞቱ ከእነሱ ከአንዳቸው በምድር ሙሉ የኾነ ወርቅ (ቢኖረውና) በርሱ ቢበዥበትም እንኳ ፈጽሞ ተቀባይን አያገኝም፡፡ እነዚያ ለእነርሱ የሚያሰቃይ ቅጣት አላቸው፡፡ ለነርሱም ምንም ረዳቶች የሏቸውም፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { إن الذين كفروا وماتوا وهم كفار فلن يقبل من أحدهم ملء الأرض } مقدار ما يملؤها { ذهبا ولو افتدى به } أدخل الفاء في خبر إن لشبه بالشرط وإيذانا بتسبب عدم القبول عن الموت على الكفر { أولئك لهم عذاب أليم } مؤلم { وما لهم من ناصرين } مانعين منه . |
| Ih, wid ijehlen, u mmuten d ijehliyen, ur ipwaqbal s$uô yiwen degsen, azal n tmurt n ddheb, a t id ifdu. I widak, aâaqeb aqeôêan, ur sâin amâiwen. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি সারা পৃথিবী পরিমাণ স্বর্ণও তার পরিবর্তে দেয়া হয়, তবুও যারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং কাফের অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করেছে তাদের তওবা কবুল করা হবে না। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব! পক্ষান্তরে তাদের কোনই সাহায্যকারী নেই। |
Literal | That those who disbelieved, and died and they are disbelievers, so will never/not be accepted from anyone of them the Earth's fill (of) gold and (even) if he ransomed/compensated with it. Those, for them (is) a painful torture, and (there are) none for them from victoriors/saviors. |
Yusuf Ali | As to those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- never would be accepted from any such as much gold as the earth contains, though they should offer it for ransom. For such is (in store) a penalty grievous, and they will find no helpers. |
Pickthal | Lo! those who disbelieve, and die in disbelief, the (whole) earth full of gold would not be accepted from such an one if it were offered as a ransom (for his soul). Theirs will be a painful doom and they will have no helpers. |
Arberry | Surely those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving, there shall not be accepted from any one of them the whole earth full of gold, if he would ransom himself thereby; for them awaits a painful chastisement, and they shall have no helpers. |
Shakir | Surely, those who disbelieve and die while they are unbelievers, the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them, though he should offer to ransom himself with it, these it is who shall have a painful chastisement, and they shall have no helpers. |
Sarwar | From those who have rejected the truth and died in disbelief, no ransom will be accepted even though they may pay a whole earth of gold. They will suffer a painful torment and no one will help them. |
H/K/Saheeh | Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers never would the [whole] capacity of the earth in gold be accepted from one of them if he would [seek to] ransom himself with it. For those there will be a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers. |
Malik | As to those who are unbelievers and die while they were unbelievers, if they were to fill the whole earth with gold and offer it as a ransom for each one of them, that would not be accepted. These are the ones who shall have the painful punishment, and shall have no helpers.[91] |

Abul Ala Maududi | یقین رکھو، جن لوگوں نے کفر اختیار کیا اور کفر ہی کی حالت میں جان دی اُن میں سے کوئی اگر اپنے آپ کو سزا سے بچانے کے لیے روئے زمین بھر کر بھی سونا فدیہ میں دے تو اُسے قبول نہ کیا جائے گا ایسے لوگوں کے لیے دردناک سزا تیار ہے اور و ہ اپنا کوئی مددگار نہ پائیں گے |
