| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[5:65] | Walaw anna ahla alkitabi amanoowaittaqaw lakaffarna AAanhum sayyi-atihimwalaadkhalnahum jannati alnnaAAeemi
|  ولو أن أهل الكتاب آمنوا واتقوا لكفرنا عنهم سيئاتهم ولأدخلناهم جنات النعيم
وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ آمَنُواْ وَاتَّقَوْاْ لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَاهُمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ |
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - that| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Book| آمنوا - (had) believed| واتقوا - and feared (Allah),| لكفرنا - surely We (would have) removed| عنهم - from them| سيئاتهم - their evil (deeds)| ولأدخلناهم - and surely We (would have) admitted them| جنات - (to) Gardens| النعيم - (of) Bliss.| |

| የመጽሐፉም ባለቤቶች ባመኑና (ከክህደትም) በተጠነቀቁ ኖሮ ከእነሱ ኃጢኣቶቻቸውን በእርግጥ ባበስንና የመጠቀሚያ ገነቶችንም በእርግጥ ባገባናቸው ነበር፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولو أن أهل الكتاب آمنوا } بمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم { واتقوا } الكفر { لكفرنا عنهم سيئاتهم ولأدخلناهم جنات النعيم } . |
| At Tezmamt, lemmer day umnen u êezzben, yili, war ccekk, Nekkes asen tucmitin nnsen, u Nesskecm iten ar leonanat isaâdiyen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যদি আহলে-কিতাবরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করত এবং খোদাভীতি অবলম্বন করত, তবে আমি তাদের মন্দ বিষয়সমূহ ক্ষমা করে দিতাম এবং তাদেরকে নেয়ামতের উদ্যানসমূহে প্রবিষ্ট করতাম। |
| Literal | And if that The Book's people believed and feared and obeyed We would have substituted from them their sins/crimes, and We would have entered them the blessing's gardens. |
| Yusuf Ali | If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss. |
| Pickthal | If only the People of the Scripture would believe and ward off (evil), surely We should remit their sins from them and surely We should bring them into Gardens of Delight. |
