| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[5:66] | Walaw annahum aqamoo alttawratawaal-injeela wama onzila ilayhim min rabbihimlaakaloo min fawqihim wamin tahti arjulihim minhum ommatunmuqtasidatun wakatheerun minhum saa mayaAAmaloona
|  ولو أنهم أقاموا التوراة والإنجيل وما أنزل إليهم من ربهم لأكلوا من فوقهم ومن تحت أرجلهم منهم أمة مقتصدة وكثير منهم ساء ما يعملون
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ أَقَامُواْ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنجِيلَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيهِم مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ لَأَكَلُواْ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِم مِّنْهُمْ أُمَّةٌ مُّقْتَصِدَةٌ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ سَاءَ مَا يَعْمَلُونَ |
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنهم - that they| أقاموا - had stood firmly| التوراة - (by) the Taurat| والإنجيل - and the Injeel| وما - and what| أنزل - was revealed| إليهم - to them| من - from| ربهم - their Lord,| لأكلوا - surely they (would have) eaten| من - from| فوقهم - above them| ومن - and from| تحت - beneath| أرجلهم - their feet.| منهم - Among them| أمة - (is) a community| مقتصدة - moderate,| وكثير - but many| منهم - of them -| ساء - evil| ما - (is) what| يعملون - they do.| |

| እነርሱም ተውራትንና ኢንጂልን ከጌታቸውም ወደእነሱ የተወረደውን መጽሐፍ ባቋቋሙ (በሠሩበት) ኖሮ ከበላያቸውና ከእግሮቻቸው ሥር በተመገቡ ነበር፡፡ ከእነሱ ውስጥ ትክክለኞች ሕዝቦች አልሉ፡፡ ከእነሱም ብዙዎቹ የሚሠሩት ነገር ከፋ! |
| آل الجلالين | { ولو أنهم أقاموا التوراة والإنجيل } بالعمل بما فيهما ومنه الإيمان بالنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم { وما أنزل إليهم } من الكتب { من ربِّهم لأكلوا من فوقهم ومن تحت أرجلهم } بأن يوسع عليهم الرزق ويفيض من كل جهة { منهم أمَّة } جماعة { مقتصدة } تعمل به وهم من آمن بالنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كعبد الله بن سلام وأصحابه { وكثير منهم ساء } بئس { ما } شيئا { يعملونـ } ـه . |
| Lemmer day îîifen di Tuôa akked Linoil, akked wayen i sen d irsen s$uô Mass nnsen, war ccekk, ad ççen sennig sen, akw seddaw ivaôen nnsen. Illa garasen lois iôeznen. Aîas, degsen, dirit wayen xeddmen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি তারা তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল এবং যা প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে তাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে, পুরোপুরি পালন করত, তবে তারা উপর থেকে এবং পায়ের নীচ থেকে ভক্ষণ করত। তাদের কিছুসংখ্যক লোক সৎপথের অনুগামী এবং অনেকেই মন্দ কাজ করে যাচ্ছে। |
| Literal | And if that they took care of the Torah/Old Testament, and the Bible/New Testament and what was descended to them from their Lord, they would have eaten from above them and from below their feet; from them (is) a nation economizing/moderate , and many from them what they were making/doing became bad/evil/harmful. |
| Yusuf Ali | If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow a course that is evil. |
