| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:66] | Walaw anna katabna AAalayhimani oqtuloo anfusakum awi okhrujoo min diyarikum mafaAAaloohu illa qaleelun minhum walaw annahum faAAaloo mayooAAathoona bihi lakana khayran lahumwaashadda tathbeetan
|  ولو أنا كتبنا عليهم أن اقتلوا أنفسكم أو اخرجوا من دياركم ما فعلوه إلا قليل منهم ولو أنهم فعلوا ما يوعظون به لكان خيرا لهم وأشد تثبيتا
وَلَوْ أَنَّا كَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَنِ اقْتُلُواْ أَنفُسَكُمْ أَوِ اخْرُجُواْ مِن دِيَارِكُم مَّا فَعَلُوهُ إِلاَّ قَلِيلٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ فَعَلُواْ مَا يُوعَظُونَ بِهِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ تَثْبِيتًا |
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنا - [that] We| كتبنا - (had) decreed| عليهم - on them| أن - that,| اقتلوا - "Kill| أنفسكم - yourselves"| أو - or| اخرجوا - "Go forth| من - from| دياركم - your homes,"| ما - not| فعلوه - they would have done it| إلا - except| قليل - a few| منهم - of them.| ولو - But if| أنهم - [that] they| فعلوا - had done| ما - what| يوعظون - they were advised| به - with [it],| لكان - surely (it) would have been| خيرا - better| لهم - for them| وأشد - and stronger| تثبيتا - strengthen(ing).| |

| እኛም በእነርሱ ላይ፡- «ነፍሶቻችሁን ግደሉ ወይም ከአገሮቻችሁ ውጡ» ማለትን በጻፍን ኖሮ ከነሱ ጥቂቶቹ እንጅ ባልሠሩት ነበር፡፡ እነርሱም በእርሱ የሚገሰጹበትን ነገር በሠሩ ኖሮ ለነሱ መልካምና (በእምነታቸው ላይ) ለመርጋትም በጣም የበረታ በኾነ ነበር፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولو أنا كتبنا عليهم أن } مفسرة { اقتلوا أنفسكم أو اخرجوا من دياركم } كما كتبنا على بني إسرائيل { ما فعلوه } أي المكتوب عليهم { إلا قليل } بالرفع على البدل والنصب على الاستثناء { منهم ولو أنهم فعلوا ما يوعَظون به } من طاعة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم { لكان خيرا لهم وأشد تثبيتا } تحقيقا لإيمانهم . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যদি আমি তাদের নির্দেশ দিতাম যে, নিজেদের প্রাণ ধ্বংস করে দাও কিংবা নিজেদের নগরী ছেড়ে বেরিয়ে যাও, তবে তারা তা করত না; অবশ্য তাদের মধ্যে অল্প কয়েকজন। যদি তারা তাই করে যা তাদের উপদেশ দেয়া হয়, তবে তা অবশ্যই তাদের জন্য উত্তম এং তাদেরকে নিজের ধর্মের উপর সুদৃঢ় রাখার জন্য তা উত্তম হবে। |
| Literal | And if that We wrote/ordered/decreed on them, that kill yourselves or get out from your homes, they would not have done it, except (a) few from them, and if that they did what they are being advised/warned with it (it) would have been best for them, and strongest affirmation .56 |
