| 1 [2:48] | Waittaqoo yawman la tajzeenafsun AAan nafsin shay-an wala yuqbalu minha shafaAAatunwala yu/khathu minha AAadlun wala humyunsaroona |  واتقوا يوما لا تجزي نفس عن نفس شيئا ولا يقبل منها شفاعة ولا يؤخذ منها عدل ولا هم ينصرونوَاتَّقُواْ يَوْماً لاَّ تَجْزِي نَفْسٌ عَنْ نَّفْسٍ شَيْئاً وَّلاَ يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَاعَةٌ وَّلاَ يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَّلاَ هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ | |||||

| 3 [2:233] | Waalwalidatu yurdiAAnaawladahunna hawlayni kamilayni liman aradaan yutimma alrradaAAata waAAala almawloodilahu rizquhunna wakiswatuhunna bialmaAAroofi latukallafu nafsun illa wusAAaha la tudarrawalidatun biwaladiha wala mawloodun lahubiwaladihi waAAala alwarithi mithlu thalikafa-in arada fisalan AAan taradinminhuma watashawurin fala junahaAAalayhima wa-in aradtum an tastardiAAoo awladakumfala junaha AAalaykum itha sallamtum maataytum bialmaAAroofi waittaqoo AllahawaiAAlamoo anna Allaha bima taAAmaloona baseerun | والوالدات يرضعن أولادهن حولين كاملين لمن أراد أن يتم الرضاعة وعلى المولود له رزقهن وكسوتهن بالمعروف لا تكلف نفس إلا وسعها لا تضار والدة بولدها ولا مولود له بولده وعلى الوارث مثل ذلك فإن أرادا فصالا عن تراض منهما وتشاور فلا جناح عليهما وإن أردتم أن تسترضعوا أولادكم فلا جناح عليكم إذا سلمتم ما آتيتم بالمعروف واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله بما تعملون بصير وَالْوَالِدَاتُ يُرْضِعْنَ أَوْلاَدَهُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَةَ وَعَلََى الْمَوْلُودِ لَهُ رِزْقُهُنَّ وَكِسْوَتُهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ لاَ تُكَلَّفُ نَفْسٌ إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا لاَ تُضَآرَّ وَالِدَةٌ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلاَ مَوْلُودٌ لَّهُ بِوَلَدِهِ وَعَلَى الْوَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ فَإِنْ أَرَادَا فِصَالاً عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنْهُمَا وَتَشَاوُرٍ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن تَسْتَرْضِعُواْ أَوْلاَدَكُمْ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْتُم مَّآ آتَيْتُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |والوالدات - And the mothers| يرضعن - shall suckle| أولادهن - their children| حولين - (for) two years| كاملين - complete,| لمن - for whoever| أراد - wishes| أن - to| يتم - complete| الرضاعة - the suckling.| وعلى - And upon| المولود - the father| له - (on) him| رزقهن - (is) their provision| وكسوتهن - and their clothing| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| لا - Not| تكلف - is burdened| نفس - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - its capacity.| لا - Not| تضار - made to suffer| والدة - (the) mother| بولدها - because of her child| ولا - and not| مولود - (the) father| له - (be)| بولده - because of his child.| وعلى - And on| الوارث - the (father's) heir| مثل - (is a duty) like| ذلك - that (of the father).| فإن - Then if| أرادا - they both desire| فصالا - weaning| عن - through| تراض - mutual consent| منهما - of both of them| وتشاور - and consultation,| فلا - then no| جناح - blame| عليهما - on both of them.| وإن - And if| أردتم - you want| أن - to| تسترضعوا - ask another women to suckle| أولادكم - your child| فلا - then (there is) no| جناح - blame| عليكم - on you,| إذا - when| سلمتم - you pay| ما - what| آتيتم - you give| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:281] | Waittaqoo yawman turjaAAoona feehiila Allahi thumma tuwaffa kullu nafsin makasabat wahum la yuthlamoona | واتقوا يوما ترجعون فيه إلى الله ثم توفى كل نفس ما كسبت وهم لا يظلمون وَاتَّقُواْ يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللّهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واتقوا - And fear| يوما - a Day| ترجعون - you will be brought back| فيه - [in it]| إلى - to| الله - Allah.| ثم - Then| توفى - (will be) repaid in full| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - what| كسبت - it earned| وهم - and they| لا - not| يظلمون - will be wronged.| | ||||||
| 5 [3:25] | Fakayfa itha jamaAAnahumliyawmin la rayba feehi wawuffiyat kullu nafsin makasabat wahum la yuthlamoona | فكيف إذا جمعناهم ليوم لا ريب فيه ووفيت كل نفس ما كسبت وهم لا يظلمون فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لاَّ رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فكيف - Then how (will it be)| إذا - when| جمعناهم - We will gather them| ليوم - on a Day -| لا - no| ريب - doubt| فيه - in it.| ووفيت - And will be paid in full| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - what| كسبت - it earned| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 6 [3:30] | Yawma tajidu kullu nafsin ma AAamilatmin khayrin muhdaran wama AAamilat min soo-intawaddu law anna baynaha wabaynahu amadan baAAeedan wayuhaththirukumuAllahu nafsahu waAllahu raoofun bialAAibadi | يوم تجد كل نفس ما عملت من خير محضرا وما عملت من سوء تود لو أن بينها وبينه أمدا بعيدا ويحذركم الله نفسه والله رءوف بالعباد يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ أَمَدًا بَعِيدًا وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللّهُ نَفْسَهُ وَاللّهُ رَؤُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ | |||||
| Words | |يوم - (On the) day| تجد - will find| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - what| عملت - it did| من - of| خير - good -| محضرا - presented,| وما - and what| عملت - it did| من - of| سوء - evil,| تود - it will wish| لو - [if]| أن - that| بينها - between itself| وبينه - and between it (evil)| أمدا - (was) a distance| بعيدا - great.| ويحذركم - And warns you| الله - Allah| نفسه - (against) Himself,| والله - and Allah| رءوف - (is) Most Kind| بالعباد - to (His) [the] slaves.| | ||||||
| 7 [3:161] | Wama kana linabiyyin anyaghulla waman yaghlul ya/ti bima ghalla yawma alqiyamatithumma tuwaffa kullu nafsin ma kasabat wahum layuthlamoona | وما كان لنبي أن يغل ومن يغلل يأت بما غل يوم القيامة ثم توفى كل نفس ما كسبت وهم لا يظلمون وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَغُلَّ وَمَن يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - is| لنبي - for a Prophet| أن - that| يغل - he defrauds.| ومن - And whoever| يغلل - defrauds| يأت - will bring| بما - what| غل - he had defrauded| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection.| ثم - Then| توفى - is repaid in full| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - what| كسبت - it earned| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 8 [3:185] | Kullu nafsin tha-iqatu almawtiwa-innama tuwaffawna ojoorakum yawma alqiyamatifaman zuhziha AAani alnnari waodkhilaaljannata faqad faza wama alhayatu alddunyailla mataAAu alghuroori | كل نفس ذائقة الموت وإنما توفون أجوركم يوم القيامة فمن زحزح عن النار وأدخل الجنة فقد فاز وما الحياة الدنيا إلا متاع الغرور كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ وَما الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ | |||||
| Words | |كل - Every| نفس - soul| ذائقة - (will) taste| الموت - [the] death,| وإنما - and only| توفون - you will be paid in full| أجوركم - your reward| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) [the] Resurrection.| فمن - Then whoever| زحزح - is drawn away| عن - from| النار - the Fire| وأدخل - and admitted| الجنة - (to) Paradise| فقد - then surely| فاز - he is successful.| وما - And not| الحياة - (is) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| إلا - except| متاع - enjoyment| الغرور - (of) delusion.| | ||||||
| 9 [4:1] | Ya ayyuha alnnasuittaqoo rabbakumu allathee khalaqakum min nafsin wahidatinwakhalaqa minha zawjaha wabaththa minhumarijalan katheeran wanisaan waittaqoo Allahaallathee tasaaloona bihi waal-arhamainna Allaha kana AAalaykum raqeeban | يا أيها الناس اتقوا ربكم الذي خلقكم من نفس واحدة وخلق منها زوجها وبث منهما رجالا كثيرا ونساء واتقوا الله الذي تساءلون به والأرحام إن الله كان عليكم رقيبا يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالاً كَثِيرًا وَنِسَاءً وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءَلُونَ بِهِ وَالْأَرْحَامَ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| الناس - mankind!| اتقوا - Fear| ربكم - your Lord| الذي - the One Who| خلقكم - created you| من - from| نفس - a soul| واحدة - single| وخلق - and created| منها - from it| زوجها - its mate| وبث - and dispersed| منهما - from both of them| رجالا - men| كثيرا - many| ونساء - and women.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| الذي - (through) Whom| تساءلون - you ask| به - [with it]| والأرحام - and the wombs.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليكم - over you| رقيبا - Ever-Watchful.| | ||||||
| 10 [5:32] | Min ajli thalika katabna AAalabanee isra-eela annahu man qatala nafsan bighayri nafsinaw fasadin fee al-ardi fakaannama qatala alnnasajameeAAan waman ahyaha fakaannama ahyaalnnasa jameeAAan walaqad jaat-hum rusulunabialbayyinati thumma inna katheeran minhum baAAda thalikafee al-ardi lamusrifoona | من أجل ذلك كتبنا على بني إسرائيل أنه من قتل نفسا بغير نفس أو فساد في الأرض فكأنما قتل الناس جميعا ومن أحياها فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعا ولقد جاءتهم رسلنا بالبينات ثم إن كثيرا منهم بعد ذلك في الأرض لمسرفون مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِالبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي الْأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |من - From| أجل - time| ذلك - that,| كتبنا - We ordained| على - on| بني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| أنه - that he| من - who| قتل - kills| نفسا - a soul| بغير - other than| نفس - (for) a soul| أو - or| فساد - (for) spreading corruption| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فكأنما - then (it) is as if| قتل - he has killed| الناس - mankind,| جميعا - all,| ومن - and whoever| أحياها - saves it| فكأنما - then (it) is as if| أحيا - he has saved| الناس - mankind.| جميعا - all.| ولقد - And surely| جاءتهم - came to them| رسلنا - Our Messengers| بالبينات - with clear Signs| ثم - yet,| إن - indeed,| كثيرا - many| منهم - of them| بعد - after| ذلك - that| في - in| الأرض - the earth| لمسرفون - (are) surely those who commit excesses.| | ||||||
| 11 [6:70] | Wathari allatheena ittakhathoodeenahum laAAiban walahwan wagharrat-humu alhayatualddunya wathakkir bihi an tubsala nafsunbima kasabat laysa laha min dooni Allahiwaliyyun wala shafeeAAun wa-in taAAdil kulla AAadlin layu/khath minha ola-ika allatheenaobsiloo bima kasaboo lahum sharabun min hameeminwaAAathabun aleemun bima kanoo yakfuroona | وذر الذين اتخذوا دينهم لعبا ولهوا وغرتهم الحياة الدنيا وذكر به أن تبسل نفس بما كسبت ليس لها من دون الله ولي ولا شفيع وإن تعدل كل عدل لا يؤخذ منها أولئك الذين أبسلوا بما كسبوا لهم شراب من حميم وعذاب أليم بما كانوا يكفرون وَذَرِ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمْ لَعِبًا وَلَهْوًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَذَكِّرْ بِهِ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلِيٌّ وَلاَ شَفِيعٌ وَإِن تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍ لاَّ يُؤْخَذْ مِنْهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُواْ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وذر - And leave| الذين - those who| اتخذوا - take| دينهم - their religion| لعبا - (as) a play| ولهوا - and amusement| وغرتهم - and deluded them| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| وذكر - But remind| به - with it,| أن - lest| تبسل - is given up to destruction| نفس - a soul| بما - for what| كسبت - it (has) earned,| ليس - not| لها - (is) for it| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah| ولي - any protector| ولا - and not| شفيع - any intercessor.| وإن - And if| تعدل - it offers ransom -| كل - every| عدل - ransom,| لا - not| يؤخذ - will it be taken| منها - from it.| أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) ones who| أبسلوا - are given to destruction| بما - for what| كسبوا - they earned.| لهم - For them| شراب - (will be) a drink| من - of| حميم - boiling water| وعذاب - and a punishment| أليم - painful| بما - because| كانوا - they used to| يكفرون - disbelieve.| | ||||||
| 12 [6:98] | Wahuwa allathee anshaakum min nafsinwahidatin famustaqarrun wamustawdaAAun qad fassalnaal-ayati liqawmin yafqahoona | وهو الذي أنشأكم من نفس واحدة فمستقر ومستودع قد فصلنا الآيات لقوم يفقهون وَهُوَ الَّذِيَ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| أنشأكم - (has) produced you| من - from| نفس - a soul,| واحدة - single,| فمستقر - so (there is) a place of dwelling| ومستودع - and a resting place.| قد - Certainly,| فصلنا - We have made clear| الآيات - the Signs| لقوم - for a people| يفقهون - (who) understand.| | ||||||
| 13 [6:164] | Qul aghayra Allahi abghee rabbanwahuwa rabbu kulli shay-in wala taksibu kullu nafsin illaAAalayha wala taziru waziratun wizra okhrathumma ila rabbikum marjiAAukum fayunabbi-okum bimakuntum feehi takhtalifoona | قل أغير الله أبغي ربا وهو رب كل شيء ولا تكسب كل نفس إلا عليها ولا تزر وازرة وزر أخرى ثم إلى ربكم مرجعكم فينبئكم بما كنتم فيه تختلفون قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ أَبْغِي رَبًّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَلاَ تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلاَّ عَلَيْهَا وَلاَ تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أغير - "Is (it) other than| الله - Allah| أبغي - I (should) seek| ربا - (as) a Lord,| وهو - while He| رب - (is) the Lord| كل - (of) every| شيء - thing?"| ولا - And not| تكسب - earns| كل - every| نفس - soul| إلا - except| عليها - against itself,| ولا - and not| تزر - bears| وازرة - any bearer of burden,| وزر - burden| أخرى - (of) another.| ثم - Then| إلى - to| ربكم - your Lord| مرجعكم - (is) your return| فينبئكم - then He will inform you| بما - about what| كنتم - you were| فيه - concerning it| تختلفون - differing.| | ||||||
| 14 [7:189] | Huwa allathee khalaqakum min nafsinwahidatin wajaAAala minha zawjaha liyaskunailayha falamma taghashshaha hamalathamlan khafeefan famarrat bihi falamma athqalatdaAAawa Allaha rabbahuma la-in ataytanasalihan lanakoonanna mina alshshakireena | هو الذي خلقكم من نفس واحدة وجعل منها زوجها ليسكن إليها فلما تغشاها حملت حملا خفيفا فمرت به فلما أثقلت دعوا الله ربهما لئن آتيتنا صالحا لنكونن من الشاكرين هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا لِيَسْكُنَ إِلَيْهَا فَلَمَّا تَغَشَّاهَا حَمَلَتْ حَمْلاً خَفِيفًا فَمَرَّتْ بِهِ فَلَمَّا أَثْقَلَت دَّعَوَا اللّهَ رَبَّهُمَا لَئِنْ آتَيْتَنَا صَالِحاً لَّنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| خلقكم - created you| من - from| نفس - a soul,| واحدة - single| وجعل - and made| منها - from it| زوجها - its mate| ليسكن - that he might live| إليها - with her.| فلما - And when| تغشاها - he covers her,| حملت - she carries| حملا - a burden| خفيفا - light| فمرت - and continues| به - with it.| فلما - But when| أثقلت - she grows heavy,| دعوا - they both invoke| الله - Allah,| ربهما - their Lord,| لئن - "If| آتيتنا - You give us| صالحا - a righteous (child),| لنكونن - surely we will be| من - among| الشاكرين - the thankful."| | ||||||
| 15 [10:30] | Hunalika tabloo kullu nafsin maaslafat waruddoo ila Allahi mawlahumu alhaqqiwadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona | هنالك تبلو كل نفس ما أسلفت وردوا إلى الله مولاهم الحق وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون هُنَالِكَ تَبْلُو كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا أَسْلَفَتْ وَرُدُّواْ إِلَى اللّهِ مَوْلاَهُمُ الْحَقِّ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||

| 16 [10:54] | Walaw anna likulli nafsin thalamatma fee al-ardi laiftadat bihi waasarroo alnnadamatalamma raawoo alAAathaba waqudiya baynahum bialqistiwahum la yuthlamoona | ولو أن لكل نفس ظلمت ما في الأرض لافتدت به وأسروا الندامة لما رأوا العذاب وقضي بينهم بالقسط وهم لا يظلمون وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ لاَفْتَدَتْ بِهِ وَأَسَرُّواْ النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُاْ الْعَذَابَ وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - that| لكل - for every| نفس - soul| ظلمت - (that) wronged,| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth,| لافتدت - it (would) seek to ransom| به - with it,| وأسروا - and they (will) confide| الندامة - the regret| لما - when| رأوا - they see| العذاب - the punishment.| وقضي - But will be judged| بينهم - between them| بالقسط - in justice,| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - (be) wronged.| | ||||||
| 17 [11:105] | Yawma ya/ti la takallamu nafsun illabi-ithnihi faminhum shaqiyyun wasaAAeedin | يوم يأت لا تكلم نفس إلا بإذنه فمنهم شقي وسعيد يَوْمَ يَأْتِ لاَ تَكَلَّمُ نَفْسٌ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ فَمِنْهُمْ شَقِيٌّ وَسَعِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |يوم - (The) Day| يأت - (it) comes| لا - not| تكلم - will speak| نفس - a soul| إلا - except| بإذنه - by His leave.| فمنهم - Then among them| شقي - (will be the) wretched,| وسعيد - and (the) glad.| | ||||||
| 18 [12:68] | Walamma dakhaloo min haythuamarahum aboohum ma kana yughnee AAanhum mina Allahimin shay-in illa hajatan fee nafsi yaAAqooba qadahawa-innahu lathoo AAilmin lima AAallamnahuwalakinna akthara alnnasi layaAAlamoona | ولما دخلوا من حيث أمرهم أبوهم ما كان يغني عنهم من الله من شيء إلا حاجة في نفس يعقوب قضاها وإنه لذو علم لما علمناه ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون وَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَهُمْ أَبُوهُم مَّا كَانَ يُغْنِي عَنْهُم مِّنَ اللّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ حَاجَةً فِي نَفْسِ يَعْقُوبَ قَضَاهَا وَإِنَّهُ لَذُو عِلْمٍ لِّمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| دخلوا - they entered| من - from| حيث - where| أمرهم - ordered them| أبوهم - their father,| ما - not| كان - it| يغني - avail(ed)| عنهم - them| من - against| الله - Allah| من - any| شيء - thing| إلا - but| حاجة - (it was) a need| في - of| نفس - Yaqub's soul,| يعقوب - Yaqub's soul,| قضاها - which he carried out.| وإنه - And indeed, he| لذو - (was) a possessor| علم - (of) knowledge| لما - because| علمناه - We had taught him,| ولكن - but| أكثر - most| الناس - (of) the people| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 19 [13:33] | Afaman huwa qa-imun AAalakulli nafsin bima kasabat wajaAAaloo lillahi shurakaaqul sammoohum am tunabbi-oonahu bima la yaAAlamufee al-ardi am bithahirin minaalqawli bal zuyyina lillatheena kafaroo makruhum wasuddooAAani alssabeeli waman yudlili Allahu famalahu min hadin | أفمن هو قائم على كل نفس بما كسبت وجعلوا لله شركاء قل سموهم أم تنبئونه بما لا يعلم في الأرض أم بظاهر من القول بل زين للذين كفروا مكرهم وصدوا عن السبيل ومن يضلل الله فما له من هاد أَفَمَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَى كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَجَعَلُواْ لِلّهِ شُرَكَاءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ أَمْ تُنَبِّئُونَهُ بِمَا لاَ يَعْلَمُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَم بِظَاهِرٍ مِّنَ الْقَوْلِ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مَكْرُهُمْ وَصُدُّواْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Is then He Who| هو - (He)| قائم - (is) a Maintainer| على - of| كل - every| نفس - soul| بما - for what| كسبت - it has earned?| وجعلوا - Yet they ascribe| لله - to Allah| شركاء - partners.| قل - Say,| سموهم - "Name them.| أم - Or| تنبئونه - (do) you inform Him| بما - of what| لا - not| يعلم - He knows| في - in| الأرض - the earth| أم - or| بظاهر - of the apparent| من - of| القول - the words?"| بل - Nay,| زين - (is) made fair-seeming| للذين - to those who| كفروا - disbelieve| مكرهم - their plotting,| وصدوا - and they are hindered| عن - from| السبيل - the Path.| ومن - And whoever| يضلل - (by) Allah| الله - Allah lets go astray| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| هاد - guide.| | ||||||
| 20 [13:42] | Waqad makara allatheena min qablihimfalillahi almakru jameeAAan yaAAlamu ma taksibukullu nafsin wasayaAAlamu alkuffaru liman AAuqba alddari | وقد مكر الذين من قبلهم فلله المكر جميعا يعلم ما تكسب كل نفس وسيعلم الكفار لمن عقبى الدار وَقَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلِلّهِ الْمَكْرُ جَمِيعًا يَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ وَسَيَعْلَمُ الْكُفَّارُ لِمَنْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |وقد - And certainly| مكر - plotted| الذين - those who| من - (were) from| قبلهم - before them,| فلله - but for Allah| المكر - (is) the plot| جميعا - all.| يعلم - He knows| ما - what| تكسب - earns| كل - every| نفس - soul,| وسيعلم - and will know| الكفار - the disbelievers| لمن - for whom| عقبى - (is) the final| الدار - the home.| | ||||||
