| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:48] | Waittaqoo yawman la tajzeenafsun AAan nafsin shay-an wala yuqbalu minha shafaAAatunwala yu/khathu minha AAadlun wala humyunsaroona
|  واتقوا يوما لا تجزي نفس عن نفس شيئا ولا يقبل منها شفاعة ولا يؤخذ منها عدل ولا هم ينصرون
وَاتَّقُواْ يَوْماً لاَّ تَجْزِي نَفْسٌ عَنْ نَّفْسٍ شَيْئاً وَّلاَ يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَاعَةٌ وَّلاَ يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَّلاَ هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ |
| Words | |واتقوا - And fear| يوما - a day,| لا - (will) not| تجزي - avail| نفس - any soul| عن - for| نفس - (another) soul| شيئا - anything,| ولا - and not| يقبل - will be accepted| منها - from it| شفاعة - any intercession,| ولا - and not| يؤخذ - will be taken| منها - from it| عدل - a compensation,| ولا - and not| هم - they| ينصرون - will be helped.| |

| (ማንኛዋ) ነፍስም ከ(ሌላዋ) ነፍስ ምንንም የማትመነዳበትን፣ ከርሷም ምልጃን የማይቀበሉባትን፣ ከርሷም ቤዛ የማይያዝበትን፣ እነርሱም የማይረዱበትን ቀን ተጠንቀቁ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { واتقوا } خافوا { يوما لا تجزي } فيه { نفس عن نفسٍ شيئاً } وهو يوم القيامة { ولا تُقبل } بالتاء والياء { منها شفاعة } أي ليس لها شفاعة فتقبل (فما لنا من شافعين) { ولا يؤخذ منها عدل } فداء { ولا هم ينصرون } يمنعون من عذاب الله. |
| Ëezzbet i wass ideg ur ippuoazi yiwen deg umkan n wayev, s wacemma. Ur tepwaqbal ccafuâa segs, ur tepwaîîaf, segs, le$ôama, ur ten ppaâwanen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর সে দিনের ভয় কর, যখন কেউ কারও সামান্য উপকারে আসবে না এবং তার পক্ষে কোন সুপারিশও কবুল হবে না; কারও কাছ থেকে ক্ষতিপূরণও নেয়া হবে না এবং তারা কোন রকম সাহায্যও পাবে না। |
| Literal | And fear a day/time, no self rewards/substitutes from a self a thing, and no mediation (is to) be accepted/received from it, and no ransom/redemption (is to) be taken from it, and nor they be given victory . |
| Yusuf Ali | Then guard yourselves against a day when one soul shall not avail another nor shall intercession be accepted for her, nor shall compensation be taken from her, nor shall anyone be helped (from outside). |
