| 1 [2:178] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookutiba AAalaykumu alqisasu fee alqatla alhurrubialhurri waalAAabdu bialAAabdi waalonthabialontha faman AAufiya lahu min akheehi shay-on faittibaAAunbialmaAAroofi waadaon ilayhi bi-ihsaninthalika takhfeefun min rabbikum warahmatun famaniiAAtada baAAda thalika falahu AAathabunaleemun |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم القصاص في القتلى الحر بالحر والعبد بالعبد والأنثى بالأنثى فمن عفي له من أخيه شيء فاتباع بالمعروف وأداء إليه بإحسان ذلك تخفيف من ربكم ورحمة فمن اعتدى بعد ذلك فله عذاب أليميَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِصَاصُ فِي الْقَتْلَى الْحُرُّ بِالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدُ بِالْعَبْدِ وَالْأُنثَى بِالْأُنثَى فَمَنْ عُفِيَ لَهُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ شَيْءٌ فَاتِّبَاعٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَدَاءٌ إِلَيْهِ بِإِحْسَانٍ ذَلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَهُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| كتب - Prescribed| عليكم - for you| القصاص - (is) the legal retribution| في - in| القتلى - (the matter of) the murdered,| الحر - the freeman| بالحر - for the freeman,| والعبد - and the slave| بالعبد - for the slave,| والأنثى - and the female| بالأنثى - for the female.| فمن - But whoever| عفي - is pardoned| له - [for it]| من - from| أخيه - his brother| شيء - anything,| فاتباع - then follows up| بالمعروف - with suitable| وأداء - [and] payment| إليه - to him| بإحسان - with kindness.| ذلك - That (is)| تخفيف - a concession| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| ورحمة - and mercy.| فمن - Then whoever| اعتدى - transgresses| بعد - after| ذلك - that,| فله - then for him| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:180] | Kutiba AAalaykum itha hadaraahadakumu almawtu in taraka khayran alwasiyyatulilwalidayni waal-aqrabeena bialmaAAroofi haqqanAAala almuttaqeena | كتب عليكم إذا حضر أحدكم الموت إن ترك خيرا الوصية للوالدين والأقربين بالمعروف حقا على المتقين كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيْرًا الْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأقْرَبِينَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ حَقًّا عَلَى الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |كتب - Prescribed| عليكم - for you| إذا - when| حضر - approaches| أحدكم - any of you| الموت - [the] death,| إن - if| ترك - he leaves| خيرا - good| الوصية - (making) the will| للوالدين - for the parents| والأقربين - and the near relatives| بالمعروف - with due fairness| حقا - a duty| على - on| المتقين - the righteous ones.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:228] | Waalmutallaqatuyatarabbasna bi-anfusihinna thalathata quroo-in walayahillu lahunna an yaktumna ma khalaqa Allahufee arhamihinna in kunna yu/minna biAllahiwaalyawmi al-akhiri wabuAAoolatuhunna ahaqqubiraddihinna fee thalika in aradoo islahanwalahunna mithlu allathee AAalayhinna bialmaAAroofiwalilrrijali AAalayhinna darajatun waAllahuAAazeezun hakeemun | والمطلقات يتربصن بأنفسهن ثلاثة قروء ولا يحل لهن أن يكتمن ما خلق الله في أرحامهن إن كن يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر وبعولتهن أحق بردهن في ذلك إن أرادوا إصلاحا ولهن مثل الذي عليهن بالمعروف وللرجال عليهن درجة والله عزيز حكيم وَالْمُطَلَّقَاتُ يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلاَثَةَ قُرُوءٍ وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْنَ مَا خَلَقَ اللّهُ فِي أَرْحَامِهِنَّ إِن كُنَّ يُؤْمِنَّ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ أَحَقُّ بِرَدِّهِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ إِنْ أَرَادُواْ إِصْلاَحًا وَلَهُنَّ مِثْلُ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيْهِنَّ دَرَجَةٌ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكُيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |والمطلقات - And the women who are divorced| يتربصن - shall wait| بأنفسهن - concerning themselves| ثلاثة - (for) three| قروء - monthly periods.| ولا - And (it is) not| يحل - lawful| لهن - for them| أن - that| يكتمن - they conceal| ما - what| خلق - (has been) created| الله - (by) Allah| في - in| أرحامهن - their wombs,| إن - if| كن - they| يؤمن - believe| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - [the] Last.| وبعولتهن - And their husbands| أحق - (have) better right| بردهن - to take them back| في - in| ذلك - that (period)| إن - if| أرادوا - they wish| إصلاحا - (for) reconciliation.| ولهن - And for them| مثل - (is the) like| الذي - (of) that which| عليهن - (is) on them| بالمعروف - in a reasonable manner,| وللرجال - and for the men| عليهن - over them| درجة - (is) a degree.| والله - And Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:232] | Wa-itha tallaqtumu alnnisaafabalaghna ajalahunna fala taAAduloohunna an yankihnaazwajahunna itha taradaw baynahum bialmaAAroofithalika yooAAathu bihi man kanaminkum yu/minu biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhirithalikum azka lakum waatharu waAllahuyaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona | وإذا طلقتم النساء فبلغن أجلهن فلا تعضلوهن أن ينكحن أزواجهن إذا تراضوا بينهم بالمعروف ذلك يوعظ به من كان منكم يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ذلكم أزكى لكم وأطهر والله يعلم وأنتم لا تعلمون وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلاَ تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ أَن يَنكِحْنَ أَزْوَاجَهُنَّ إِذَا تَرَاضَوْاْ بَيْنَهُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ذَلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِهِ مَن كَانَ مِنكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ذَلِكُمْ أَزْكَى لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| طلقتم - you divorce| النساء - [the] women| فبلغن - and they reached| أجلهن - their (waiting) term,| فلا - then (do) not| تعضلوهن - hinder them| أن - [that]| ينكحن - (from) marrying| أزواجهن - their husbands| إذا - when| تراضوا - they agree| بينهم - between themselves| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| ذلك - That| يوعظ - is admonished| به - with it| من - whoever| كان - [is]| منكم - among you| يؤمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - [the] Last;| ذلكم - that| أزكى - (is) more virtuous| لكم - for you| وأطهر - and more purer.| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows| وأنتم - and you| لا - (do) not| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:233] | Waalwalidatu yurdiAAnaawladahunna hawlayni kamilayni liman aradaan yutimma alrradaAAata waAAala almawloodilahu rizquhunna wakiswatuhunna bialmaAAroofi latukallafu nafsun illa wusAAaha la tudarrawalidatun biwaladiha wala mawloodun lahubiwaladihi waAAala alwarithi mithlu thalikafa-in arada fisalan AAan taradinminhuma watashawurin fala junahaAAalayhima wa-in aradtum an tastardiAAoo awladakumfala junaha AAalaykum itha sallamtum maataytum bialmaAAroofi waittaqoo AllahawaiAAlamoo anna Allaha bima taAAmaloona baseerun | والوالدات يرضعن أولادهن حولين كاملين لمن أراد أن يتم الرضاعة وعلى المولود له رزقهن وكسوتهن بالمعروف لا تكلف نفس إلا وسعها لا تضار والدة بولدها ولا مولود له بولده وعلى الوارث مثل ذلك فإن أرادا فصالا عن تراض منهما وتشاور فلا جناح عليهما وإن أردتم أن تسترضعوا أولادكم فلا جناح عليكم إذا سلمتم ما آتيتم بالمعروف واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله بما تعملون بصير وَالْوَالِدَاتُ يُرْضِعْنَ أَوْلاَدَهُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَةَ وَعَلََى الْمَوْلُودِ لَهُ رِزْقُهُنَّ وَكِسْوَتُهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ لاَ تُكَلَّفُ نَفْسٌ إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا لاَ تُضَآرَّ وَالِدَةٌ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلاَ مَوْلُودٌ لَّهُ بِوَلَدِهِ وَعَلَى الْوَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ فَإِنْ أَرَادَا فِصَالاً عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنْهُمَا وَتَشَاوُرٍ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن تَسْتَرْضِعُواْ أَوْلاَدَكُمْ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْتُم مَّآ آتَيْتُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |والوالدات - And the mothers| يرضعن - shall suckle| أولادهن - their children| حولين - (for) two years| كاملين - complete,| لمن - for whoever| أراد - wishes| أن - to| يتم - complete| الرضاعة - the suckling.| وعلى - And upon| المولود - the father| له - (on) him| رزقهن - (is) their provision| وكسوتهن - and their clothing| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| لا - Not| تكلف - is burdened| نفس - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - its capacity.| لا - Not| تضار - made to suffer| والدة - (the) mother| بولدها - because of her child| ولا - and not| مولود - (the) father| له - (be)| بولده - because of his child.| وعلى - And on| الوارث - the (father's) heir| مثل - (is a duty) like| ذلك - that (of the father).| فإن - Then if| أرادا - they both desire| فصالا - weaning| عن - through| تراض - mutual consent| منهما - of both of them| وتشاور - and consultation,| فلا - then no| جناح - blame| عليهما - on both of them.| وإن - And if| أردتم - you want| أن - to| تسترضعوا - ask another women to suckle| أولادكم - your child| فلا - then (there is) no| جناح - blame| عليكم - on you,| إذا - when| سلمتم - you pay| ما - what| آتيتم - you give| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:234] | Waallatheena yutawaffawnaminkum wayatharoona azwajan yatarabbasnabi-anfusihinna arbaAAata ashhurin waAAashran fa-ithabalaghna ajalahunna fala junaha AAalaykum feemafaAAalna fee anfusihinna bialmaAAroofi waAllahubima taAAmaloona khabeerun | والذين يتوفون منكم ويذرون أزواجا يتربصن بأنفسهن أربعة أشهر وعشرا فإذا بلغن أجلهن فلا جناح عليكم فيما فعلن في أنفسهن بالمعروف والله بما تعملون خبير وَالَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَاجًا يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا فَعَلْنَ فِي أَنفُسِهِنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يتوفون - pass away| منكم - among you| ويذرون - and leave behind| أزواجا - wives,| يتربصن - (the widows) should wait| بأنفسهن - for themselves| أربعة - (for) four| أشهر - months| وعشرا - and ten (days).| فإذا - Then when| بلغن - they reach| أجلهن - their (specified) term,| فلا - then (there is) no| جناح - blame| عليكم - upon you| فيما - for what| فعلن - they do| في - concerning| أنفسهن - themselves| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| والله - And Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| خبير - (is) All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 7 [2:236] | La junaha AAalaykum in tallaqtumualnnisaa ma lam tamassoohunna aw tafridoolahunna fareedatan wamattiAAoohunna AAalaalmoosiAAi qadaruhu waAAala almuqtiri qadaruhu mataAAanbialmaAAroofi haqqan AAala almuhsineena | لا جناح عليكم إن طلقتم النساء ما لم تمسوهن أو تفرضوا لهن فريضة ومتعوهن على الموسع قدره وعلى المقتر قدره متاعا بالمعروف حقا على المحسنين لاَّ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِن طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ مَا لَمْ تَمَسُّوهُنُّ أَوْ تَفْرِضُواْ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً وَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ عَلَى الْمُوسِعِ قَدَرُهُ وَعَلَى الْمُقْتِرِ قَدَرُهُ مَتَاعًا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ حَقًّا عَلَى الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - (There is) no| جناح - blame| عليكم - upon you| إن - if| طلقتم - you divorce| النساء - [the] women| ما - whom| لم - not| تمسوهن - you have touched| أو - nor| تفرضوا - you specified| لهن - for them| فريضة - an obligation (dower).| ومتعوهن - And make provision for them -| على - upon| الموسع - the wealthy| قدره - according to his means| وعلى - and upon| المقتر - the poor| قدره - according to his means -| متاعا - a provision| بالمعروف - in a fair manner,| حقا - a duty| على - upon| المحسنين - the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 8 [2:241] | Walilmutallaqati mataAAunbialmaAAroofi haqqan AAala almuttaqeena | وللمطلقات متاع بالمعروف حقا على المتقين وَلِلْمُطَلَّقَاتِ مَتَاعٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ حَقًّا عَلَى الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وللمطلقات - And for the divorced women,| متاع - (is) a provision| بالمعروف - in a fair manner -| حقا - a duty| على - upon| المتقين - the righteous.| | ||||||
| 9 [3:104] | Waltakun minkum ommatun yadAAoona ilaalkhayri waya/muroona bialmaAAroofi wayanhawna AAanialmunkari waola-ika humu almuflihoona | ولتكن منكم أمة يدعون إلى الخير ويأمرون بالمعروف وينهون عن المنكر وأولئك هم المفلحون وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولتكن - And let there be| منكم - among you| أمة - [a] people| يدعون - inviting| إلى - to| الخير - the good| ويأمرون - [and] enjoining| بالمعروف - the right,| وينهون - and forbidding| عن - from| المنكر - the wrong,| وأولئك - and those -| هم - they| المفلحون - (are) the successful ones.| | ||||||
| 10 [3:110] | Kuntum khayra ommatin okhrijat lilnnasita/muroona bialmaAAroofi watanhawna AAani almunkariwatu/minoona biAllahi walaw amana ahlu alkitabilakana khayran lahum minhumu almu/minoona waaktharuhumualfasiqoona | كنتم خير أمة أخرجت للناس تأمرون بالمعروف وتنهون عن المنكر وتؤمنون بالله ولو آمن أهل الكتاب لكان خيرا لهم منهم المؤمنون وأكثرهم الفاسقون كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَلَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم مِّنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كنتم - You are| خير - (the) best| أمة - (of) people| أخرجت - raised| للناس - for the mankind -| تأمرون - enjoining| بالمعروف - the right| وتنهون - and forbidding| عن - [from]| المنكر - the wrong| وتؤمنون - and believing| بالله - in Allah.| ولو - And if| آمن - believed| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Book| لكان - surely would have been| خيرا - good| لهم - for them.| منهم - Among them| المؤمنون - (are) [the] believers,| وأكثرهم - but most of them| الفاسقون - (are) defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 11 [3:114] | Yu/minoona biAllahi waalyawmial-akhiri waya/muroona bialmaAAroofi wayanhawnaAAani almunkari wayusariAAoona fee alkhayrati waola-ikamina alssaliheena | يؤمنون بالله واليوم الآخر ويأمرون بالمعروف وينهون عن المنكر ويسارعون في الخيرات وأولئك من الصالحين يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يؤمنون - They believe| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last| ويأمرون - and they enjoin| بالمعروف - [with] the right| وينهون - and forbid| عن - [from]| المنكر - the wrong| ويسارعون - and they hasten| في - in| الخيرات - the good deeds.| وأولئك - And those| من - (are) from| الصالحين - the righteous.| | ||||||
| 12 [4:6] | Waibtaloo alyatama hattaitha balaghoo alnnikaha fa-in anastumminhum rushdan faidfaAAoo ilayhim amwalahum walata/kulooha israfan wabidaran an yakbaroowaman kana ghaniyyan falyastaAAfif waman kanafaqeeran falya/kul bialmaAAroofi fa-itha dafaAAtumilayhim amwalahum faashhidoo AAalayhim wakafa biAllahihaseeban | وابتلوا اليتامى حتى إذا بلغوا النكاح فإن آنستم منهم رشدا فادفعوا إليهم أموالهم ولا تأكلوها إسرافا وبدارا أن يكبروا ومن كان غنيا فليستعفف ومن كان فقيرا فليأكل بالمعروف فإذا دفعتم إليهم أموالهم فأشهدوا عليهم وكفى بالله حسيبا وَابْتَلُواْ الْيَتَامَى حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُواْ النِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ آنَسْتُم مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَادْفَعُواْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوهَا إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُواْ وَمَن كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ حَسِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |وابتلوا - And test| اليتامى - the orphans| حتى - until| إذا - [when]| بلغوا - they reach[ed]| النكاح - (the age of) marriage,| فإن - then if| آنستم - you perceive| منهم - in them| رشدا - sound judgement| فادفعوا - then deliver| إليهم - to them| أموالهم - their wealth.| ولا - And (do) not| تأكلوها - eat it| إسرافا - extravagantly| وبدارا - and hastily| أن - (fearing) that| يكبروا - they will grow up.| ومن - And whoever| كان - is| غنيا - rich| فليستعفف - then he should refrain,| ومن - and whoever| كان - is| فقيرا - poor| فليأكل - then let him eat (of it)| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| فإذا - Then when| دفعتم - you deliver| إليهم - to them| أموالهم - their wealth| فأشهدوا - then take witnesses| عليهم - on them.| وكفى - And is sufficient| بالله - Allah| حسيبا - (as) a Reckoner.| | ||||||
| 13 [4:19] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola yahillu lakum an tarithoo alnnisaakarhan wala taAAduloohunna litathhaboobibaAAdi ma ataytumoohunna illa anya/teena bifahishatin mubayyinatin waAAashiroohunnabialmaAAroofi fa-in karihtumoohunna faAAasa antakrahoo shay-an wayajAAala Allahu feehi khayran katheeran | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا يحل لكم أن ترثوا النساء كرها ولا تعضلوهن لتذهبوا ببعض ما آتيتموهن إلا أن يأتين بفاحشة مبينة وعاشروهن بالمعروف فإن كرهتموهن فعسى أن تكرهوا شيئا ويجعل الله فيه خيرا كثيرا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَن تَرِثُواْ النِّسَاءَ كَرْهًا وَلاَ تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ لِتَذْهَبُواْ بِبَعْضِ مَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ إِلاَّ أَن يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِن كَرِهْتُمُوهُنَّ فَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُواْ شَيْئًا وَيَجْعَلَ اللّهُ فِيهِ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا | |||||

| 14 [4:25] | Waman lam yastatiAA minkum tawlanan yankiha almuhsanati almu/minatifamin ma malakat aymanukum min fatayatikumualmu/minati waAllahu aAAlamu bi-eemanikumbaAAdukum min baAAdin fainkihoohunnabi-ithni ahlihinna waatoohunna ojoorahunna bialmaAAroofimuhsanatin ghayra masafihatin walamuttakhithati akhdanin fa-itha ohsinnafa-in atayna bifahishatin faAAalayhinna nisfu maAAala almuhsanati mina alAAathabi thalikaliman khashiya alAAanata minkum waan tasbiroo khayrunlakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun | ومن لم يستطع منكم طولا أن ينكح المحصنات المؤمنات فمن ما ملكت أيمانكم من فتياتكم المؤمنات والله أعلم بإيمانكم بعضكم من بعض فانكحوهن بإذن أهلهن وآتوهن أجورهن بالمعروف محصنات غير مسافحات ولا متخذات أخدان فإذا أحصن فإن أتين بفاحشة فعليهن نصف ما على المحصنات من العذاب ذلك لمن خشي العنت منكم وأن تصبروا خير لكم والله غفور رحيم وَمَن لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنكُمْ طَوْلاً أَن يَنكِحَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ فَمِن مِّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُم مِّن فَتَيَاتِكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيمَانِكُمْ بَعْضُكُم مِّن بَعْضٍ فَانكِحُوهُنَّ بِإِذْنِ أَهْلِهِنَّ وَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ مُحْصَنَاتٍ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحَاتٍ وَلاَ مُتَّخِذَاتِ أَخْدَانٍ فَإِذَا أُحْصِنَّ فَإِنْ أَتَيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْصَنَاتِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ الْعَنَتَ مِنْكُمْ وَأَن تَصْبِرُواْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| لم - (is) not| يستطع - able to| منكم - among you| طولا - afford| أن - to| ينكح - marry| المحصنات - the free chaste| المؤمنات - [the] believing women| فمن - then (marry) from| ما - what| ملكت - possess[ed]| أيمانكم - your right hands| من - of| فتياتكم - your slave girls -| المؤمنات - (of) the believers.| والله - And Allah| أعلم - knows best| بإيمانكم - about your faith.| بعضكم - You| من - (are) from| بعض - (one) another.| فانكحوهن - So marry them| بإذن - with (the) permission| أهلهن - (of) their family| وآتوهن - and give them| أجورهن - their bridal due| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| محصنات - (They should be) chaste| غير - not| مسافحات - those who commit immorality| ولا - and not| متخذات - those who take| أخدان - secret lovers.| فإذا - Then when| أحصن - they are married| فإن - and if| أتين - they commit| بفاحشة - adultery| فعليهن - then for them| نصف - (is) half| ما - (of) what| على - (is) on| المحصنات - the free chaste women| من - of| العذاب - the punishment.| ذلك - That| لمن - (is) for whoever| خشي - fears| العنت - committing sin| منكم - among you| وأن - and that| تصبروا - you be patient| خير - (is) better| لكم - for you.| والله - And Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 15 [7:157] | Allatheena yattabiAAoona alrrasoolaalnnabiyya al-ommiyya allathee yajidoonahumaktooban AAindahum fee alttawrati waal-injeeliya/muruhum bialmaAAroofi wayanhahum AAani almunkariwayuhillu lahumu alttayyibati wayuharrimuAAalayhimu alkhaba-itha wayadaAAu AAanhum israhumwaal-aghlala allatee kanat AAalayhim faallatheenaamanoo bihi waAAazzaroohu wanasaroohu waittabaAAooalnnoora allathee onzila maAAahu ola-ikahumu almuflihoona | الذين يتبعون الرسول النبي الأمي الذي يجدونه مكتوبا عندهم في التوراة والإنجيل يأمرهم بالمعروف وينهاهم عن المنكر ويحل لهم الطيبات ويحرم عليهم الخبائث ويضع عنهم إصرهم والأغلال التي كانت عليهم فالذين آمنوا به وعزروه ونصروه واتبعوا النور الذي أنزل معه أولئك هم المفلحون الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الرَّسُولَ النَّبِيَّ الْأُمِّيَّ الَّذِي يَجِدُونَهُ مَكْتُوبًا عِندَهُمْ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ يَأْمُرُهُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَاهُمْ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْخَبَآئِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنْهُمْ إِصْرَهُمْ وَالْأَغْلاَلَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِهِ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَاتَّبَعُواْ النُّورَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ مَعَهُ أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||

| 17 [9:112] | Altta-iboona alAAabidoonaalhamidoona alssa-ihoona alrrakiAAoonaalssajidoona al-amiroona bialmaAAroofiwaalnnahoona AAani almunkari waalhafithoonalihudoodi Allahi wabashshiri almu/mineena | التائبون العابدون الحامدون السائحون الراكعون الساجدون الآمرون بالمعروف والناهون عن المنكر والحافظون لحدود الله وبشر المؤمنين التَّائِبُونَ الْعَابِدُونَ الْحَامِدُونَ السَّائِحُونَ الرَّاكِعُونَ السَّاجِدونَ الْآمِرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّاهُونَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَالْحَافِظُونَ لِحُدُودِ اللّهِ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
