[2:180] | Kutiba AAalaykum itha hadaraahadakumu almawtu in taraka khayran alwasiyyatulilwalidayni waal-aqrabeena bialmaAAroofi haqqanAAala almuttaqeena
|  كتب عليكم إذا حضر أحدكم الموت إن ترك خيرا الوصية للوالدين والأقربين بالمعروف حقا على المتقين
كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيْرًا الْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأقْرَبِينَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ حَقًّا عَلَى الْمُتَّقِينَ |

| አንዳችሁን ሞት በመጣበት ጊዜ ሀብትን ቢተው ለወላጆችና ለቅርብ ዘመዶች በበጎ መናዘዝ በናንተ ላይ ተጻፈ፡፡ (ይህ) በጥንቁቆቹ ላይ እርግጠኛ ድንጋጌ ተደነገገ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | {كتب} فرض {عليكم إذا حضر أحدكم الموت} أي أسبابه {إن ترك خيرا} مالا {الوصية} مرفوع بكتب ومتعلق بإذا إن كانت ظرفية ودال على جوابها إن كانت شرطية وجواب إن أي فليوص {للوالدين والأقربين بالمعروف} بالعدل بأن لا يزيد على الثلث ولا يفضل الغني {حقا} مصدر مؤكد لمضمون الجملة قبله {على المتقين} الله وهذا منسوخ بآية الميراث وبحديث : ( لا وصية لوارث رواه الترمذي). |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমাদের কারো যখন মৃত্যুর সময় উপস্থিত হয়, সে যদি কিছু ধন-সম্পদ ত্যাগ করে যায়, তবে তার জন্য ওসীয়ত করা বিধিবদ্ধ করা হলো, পিতা-মাতা ও নিকটাত্নীয়দের জন্য ইনসাফের সাথে পরহেযগারদের জন্য এ নির্দেশ জরুরী। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা সবকিছু শোনেন ও জানেন। |
| Literal | It is dictated/ordered on you if the death/lifelessness came/attended (to) one of you, if he left wealth/goodness (in) the bequest/will, to the parents, and the nearest/closest (ones), with the kindness/goodness , dutifully/truthfully on the fearing and obeying (God). |
