| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[86:4] | In kullu nafsin lamma AAalayha hafithun
|  إن كل نفس لما عليها حافظ
إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ |
| Words | |إن - Not| كل - (is) every| نفس - soul| لما - but| عليها - over it| حافظ - (is) a protector.| |

| ነፍስ ሁሉ በእርሷ ላይ ጠባቂ ያለባት እንጅ ሌላ አይደለችም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إن كل نفس لمَا عليها حافظ } بتخفيف ما فهي مزيدة وإن مخففة من الثقيلة واسمها محذوف، أي إنه واللام فارقة وبتشديدها فإن نافية ولما بمعنى إلا والحافظ من الملائكة يحفظ عملها من خير وشر. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | প্রত্যেকের উপর একজন তত্ত্বাবধায়ক রয়েছে। |
| Literal | That truly every/each self (is) except on it a protector/safe keeper . |
