بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [33:36] | Wama kana limu/minin walamu/minatin itha qada Allahu warasooluhuamran an yakoona lahumu alkhiyaratu min amrihim waman yaAAsiAllaha warasoolahu faqad dalla dalalanmubeenan
| وما كان لمؤمن ولا مؤمنة إذا قضى الله ورسوله أمرا أن يكون لهم الخيرة من أمرهم ومن يعص الله ورسوله فقد ضل ضلالا مبينا وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًا |
Words | |وما - And not| كان - (it) is| لمؤمن - for a believing man| ولا - and not| مؤمنة - (for) a believing woman,| إذا - when| قضى - Allah has decided| الله - Allah has decided| ورسوله - and His Messenger| أمرا - a matter| أن - that| يكون - (there) should be| لهم - for them| الخيرة - (any) choice| من - about| أمرهم - their affair.| ومن - And whoever| يعص - disobeys| الله - Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger| فقد - certainly,| ضل - he (has) strayed| ضلالا - (into) error| مبينا - clear.| |

| አላህና መልክተኛውም ነገርን በፈረዱ ጊዜ ለምእምናንና ለምእምናት ከነገራቸው ለእነርሱ ምርጫ ሊኖራቸው አይገባም! የአላህንና የመልክተኛውንም ትእዛዝ የጣሰ ሰው ግልጽ የሆነን መሳሳት በእርግጥ ተሳሳተ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | ( وما كان لمؤمن ولا مؤمنة إذا قضي الله ورسوله أمرا أن تكون ) بالتاء والياء ( لهم الخيرة ) أي الاختيار ( من أمرهم ) خلاف أمر الله ورسوله ، نزلت في عبد الله بن جحش وأخته زينب خطبها النبي لزيد بن حارثة فكرها ذلك حين علما لظنهما قبل أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم خطبها لنفسه ثم رضيا للآية (ومن يعص الله ورسوله فقد ضل ضلالا مبينا) بينا فزوجها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لزيد ثم وقع بصره عليها بعد حين فوقع في نفسه حبها وفي نفس زيد كراهتها، ثم قال للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أريد فراقها فقال : "أمسك عليك زوجك" كما قال تعالى : |
| Ur issefk ara i win, ne$ tin iumnen, ad smenyafen lameô nnsen, ma Iseyya d lameô Öebbi, akked Umazan iS. Win inuqmen Öebbi, akked Umazan iS, ni$ innetlaf ttelfan n ûûeê. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল কোন কাজের আদেশ করলে কোন ঈমানদার পুরুষ ও ঈমানদার নারীর সে বিষয়ে ভিন্ন ক্ষমতা নেই যে, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের আদেশ অমান্য করে সে প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্ট তায় পতিত হয়। |
Literal | And (it) was not to a believer (M) and nor a believer (F), if God and His messenger ordered/passed judgment an order/command/matter/affair that to be for them the choice from their matter/affair, and who disobeys God and His messenger, so he had misguided a clear/evident misguidance. |
Yusuf Ali | It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path. |
Pickthal | And it becometh not a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His messenger have decided an affair (for them), that they should (after that) claim any say in their affair; and whoso is rebellious to Allah and His messenger, he verily goeth astray in error manifest. |
Arberry | It is not for any believer, man or woman, when God and His Messenger have decreed a matter, to have the choice in the affair. Whosoever disobeys God and His Messenger has gone astray into manifest error. |
Shakir | And it behoves not a believing man and a believing woman that they should have any choice in their matter when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he surely strays off a manifest straying. |
Sarwar | The believing men and women must not feel free to do something in their affairs other than that which has been already decided for them by God and His Messenger. One who disobeys God and His Messenger is in plain error. |
H/K/Saheeh | It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error. |
Malik | It is not fitting for a believing man or a believing woman to have an option in their affairs when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has indeed strayed into a clearly wrong path.[36] |

Khalifa** | No believing man or believing woman, if GOD and His messenger issue any command, has any choice regarding that command. Anyone who disobeys GOD and His messenger has gone far astray. |
Hilali/Khan** | It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error. |

| Na da mapatot ko miyaratiyaya a mama, go da ko miyaratiyaya a babay, igira a adn a inisogo o Allah ago so sogo Iyan, a sogoan, oba adn a mabaloy a bagian iran a kambayabaya ko okit iran: Na sadn sa sorangn iyan so Allah go so sogo Iyan, na sabnar a miyadadag sa kadadag a mapayag. |
