بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [24:15] | Ith talaqqawnahu bi-alsinatikumwataqooloona bi-afwahikum ma laysa lakum bihiAAilmun watahsaboonahu hayyinan wahuwa AAinda AllahiAAatheemun
| إذ تلقونه بألسنتكم وتقولون بأفواهكم ما ليس لكم به علم وتحسبونه هينا وهو عند الله عظيم إِذْ تَلَقَّوْنَهُ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَتَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِكُم مَّا لَيْسَ لَكُم بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَتَحْسَبُونَهُ هَيِّنًا وَهُوَ عِندَ اللَّهِ عَظِيمٌ |

| በምላሶቻችሁ በምትቅበባሉት ጊዜ ለእናንተም በእርሱ ዕውቀት በሌላችሁ ነገር በአፎቻችሁ በተናገራችሁና እርሱ አላህ ዘንድ ከባድ ኀጢአት ኾኖ ሳለ ቀላል አድርጋችሁ ባሰባችሁት ጊዜ (ከባድ ቅጣት በነካችሁ ነበር)፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | إذ تلقونه بألسنتكم } أي يرونه بعضكم عن بعض وحذف من الفعل إحدى التاءين وإذ منصوب بمسكم أو بأفضتم { وتقولون بأفواهكم ما ليس لكم به علم وتحسبونه هينا } لا إثم فيه { وهو عند الله عظيم } في الإثم . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখন তোমরা একে মুখে মুখে ছড়াচ্ছিলে এবং মুখে এমন বিষয় উচ্চারণ করছিলে, যার কোন জ্ঞান তোমাদের ছিল না। তোমরা একে তুচ্ছ মনে করছিলে, অথচ এটা আল্লাহর কাছে গুরুতর ব্যাপার ছিল। |
Literal | When you receive it with your tongues/languages and you say with your mouths what knowledge is not for you with it (you have no knowledge of) and you think/suppose it (is) easy/light, and it is at God great. |
Yusuf Ali | Behold, ye received it on your tongues, and said out of your mouths things of which ye had no knowledge; and ye thought it to be a light matter, while it was most serious in the sight of Allah. |
Pickthal | When ye welcomed it with your tongues, and uttered with your mouths that whereof ye had no knowledge, ye counted it a trifle. In the sight of Allah it is very great. |
