1 [17:87] | Illa rahmatan min rabbika innafadlahu kana AAalayka kabeeran
| إلا رحمة من ربك إن فضله كان عليك كبيرا إِلاَّ رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ إِنَّ فَضْلَهُ كَانَ عَلَيْكَ كَبِيرًا |
| Words | |إلا - Except| رحمة - a mercy| من - from| ربك - your Lord.| إن - Indeed,| فضله - His Bounty| كان - is| عليك - upon you| كبيرا - great.| |

| ግን ከጌታህ በኾነው እዝነት (ጠበቅነው)፡፡ ችሮታው ባንተ ላይ ታላቅ ነውና፡፤ |
| آل الجلالين | { إلا } لكن أبقيناه { رحمة من ربك إن فضله كان عليك كبيرا } عظيما حيث أنزله عليك وأعطاك المقام المحمود وغير ذلك من الفضائل . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এ প্রত্যাহার না করা আপনার পালনকর্তার মেহেরবানী। নিশ্চয় আপনার প্রতি তাঁর করুণা বিরাট। |
| Literal | Except mercy from your Lord, that (E) His grace/favour/blessing was great on you. |
| Yusuf Ali | Except for Mercy from thy Lord: for his bounty is to thee (indeed) great. |
