| 1 [2:113] | Waqalati alyahoodu laysati alnnasaraAAala shay-in waqalati alnnasaralaysati alyahoodu AAala shay-in wahum yatloona alkitabakathalika qala allatheena layaAAlamoona mithla qawlihim faAllahu yahkumubaynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehiyakhtalifoona |  وقالت اليهود ليست النصارى على شيء وقالت النصارى ليست اليهود على شيء وهم يتلون الكتاب كذلك قال الذين لا يعلمون مثل قولهم فالله يحكم بينهم يوم القيامة فيما كانوا فيه يختلفونوَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ لَيْسَتِ النَّصَارَى عَلَى شَيْءٍ وَقَالَتِ النَّصَارَى لَيْسَتِ الْيَهُودُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ وَهُمْ يَتْلُونَ الْكِتَابَ كَذَلِكَ قَالَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ فَاللّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said| اليهود - the Jews,| ليست - "Not| النصارى - the Christians| على - (are) on| شيء - anything,"| وقالت - and said| النصارى - the Christians,| ليست - "Not| اليهود - the Jews| على - (are) on| شيء - anything,"| وهم - although they| يتلون - recite| الكتاب - the Book.| كذلك - Like that| قال - said| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know,| مثل - similar| قولهم - their saying.| فالله - [So] Allah| يحكم - will judge| بينهم - between them| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection| فيما - in what| كانوا - they were| فيه - [in it]| يختلفون - differing.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:118] | Waqala allatheena layaAAlamoona lawla yukallimuna Allahu awta/teena ayatun kathalika qala allatheenamin qablihim mithla qawlihim tashabahat quloobuhum qadbayyanna al-ayati liqawmin yooqinoona | وقال الذين لا يعلمون لولا يكلمنا الله أو تأتينا آية كذلك قال الذين من قبلهم مثل قولهم تشابهت قلوبهم قد بينا الآيات لقوم يوقنون وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ لَوْلاَ يُكَلِّمُنَا اللّهُ أَوْ تَأْتِينَا آيَةٌ كَذَلِكَ قَالَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ تَشَابَهَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا الآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know,| لولا - "Why not| يكلمنا - speaks to us| الله - Allah| أو - or| تأتينا - comes to us| آية - a sign?"| كذلك - Like that| قال - said| الذين - those| من - from| قبلهم - before them| مثل - similar| قولهم - their saying.| تشابهت - Became alike| قلوبهم - their hearts.| قد - Indeed,| بينا - We have made clear| الآيات - the signs| لقوم - for people| يوقنون - (who) firmly believe.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:214] | Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannatawalamma ya/tikum mathalu allatheena khalaw minqablikum massat-humu alba/sao waalddarraowazulziloo hatta yaqoola alrrasoolu waallatheenaamanoo maAAahu mata nasru Allahi alainna nasra Allahi qareebun | أم حسبتم أن تدخلوا الجنة ولما يأتكم مثل الذين خلوا من قبلكم مستهم البأساء والضراء وزلزلوا حتى يقول الرسول والذين آمنوا معه متى نصر الله ألا إن نصر الله قريب أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَاءُ وَالضَّرَّاءُ وَزُلْزِلُواْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَهُ مَتَى نَصْرُ اللّهِ أَلا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللّهِ قَرِيبٌ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| حسبتم - (do) you think| أن - that| تدخلوا - you will enter| الجنة - Paradise| ولما - while not| يأتكم - (has) come to you| مثل - like (came to)| الذين - those who| خلوا - passed away| من - from| قبلكم - before you?| مستهم - Touched them| البأساء - [the] adversity| والضراء - and [the] hardship,| وزلزلوا - and they were shaken| حتى - until| يقول - said| الرسول - the Messenger| والذين - and those who| آمنوا - believed| معه - with him,| متى - "When| نصر - [will] (the) help| الله - (of) Allah (come)| ألا - Unquestionably,| إن - [Indeed]| نصر - help| الله - (of) Allah| قريب - (is) near.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:228] | Waalmutallaqatuyatarabbasna bi-anfusihinna thalathata quroo-in walayahillu lahunna an yaktumna ma khalaqa Allahufee arhamihinna in kunna yu/minna biAllahiwaalyawmi al-akhiri wabuAAoolatuhunna ahaqqubiraddihinna fee thalika in aradoo islahanwalahunna mithlu allathee AAalayhinna bialmaAAroofiwalilrrijali AAalayhinna darajatun waAllahuAAazeezun hakeemun | والمطلقات يتربصن بأنفسهن ثلاثة قروء ولا يحل لهن أن يكتمن ما خلق الله في أرحامهن إن كن يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر وبعولتهن أحق بردهن في ذلك إن أرادوا إصلاحا ولهن مثل الذي عليهن بالمعروف وللرجال عليهن درجة والله عزيز حكيم وَالْمُطَلَّقَاتُ يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلاَثَةَ قُرُوءٍ وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْنَ مَا خَلَقَ اللّهُ فِي أَرْحَامِهِنَّ إِن كُنَّ يُؤْمِنَّ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ أَحَقُّ بِرَدِّهِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ إِنْ أَرَادُواْ إِصْلاَحًا وَلَهُنَّ مِثْلُ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيْهِنَّ دَرَجَةٌ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكُيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |والمطلقات - And the women who are divorced| يتربصن - shall wait| بأنفسهن - concerning themselves| ثلاثة - (for) three| قروء - monthly periods.| ولا - And (it is) not| يحل - lawful| لهن - for them| أن - that| يكتمن - they conceal| ما - what| خلق - (has been) created| الله - (by) Allah| في - in| أرحامهن - their wombs,| إن - if| كن - they| يؤمن - believe| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - [the] Last.| وبعولتهن - And their husbands| أحق - (have) better right| بردهن - to take them back| في - in| ذلك - that (period)| إن - if| أرادوا - they wish| إصلاحا - (for) reconciliation.| ولهن - And for them| مثل - (is the) like| الذي - (of) that which| عليهن - (is) on them| بالمعروف - in a reasonable manner,| وللرجال - and for the men| عليهن - over them| درجة - (is) a degree.| والله - And Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:233] | Waalwalidatu yurdiAAnaawladahunna hawlayni kamilayni liman aradaan yutimma alrradaAAata waAAala almawloodilahu rizquhunna wakiswatuhunna bialmaAAroofi latukallafu nafsun illa wusAAaha la tudarrawalidatun biwaladiha wala mawloodun lahubiwaladihi waAAala alwarithi mithlu thalikafa-in arada fisalan AAan taradinminhuma watashawurin fala junahaAAalayhima wa-in aradtum an tastardiAAoo awladakumfala junaha AAalaykum itha sallamtum maataytum bialmaAAroofi waittaqoo AllahawaiAAlamoo anna Allaha bima taAAmaloona baseerun | والوالدات يرضعن أولادهن حولين كاملين لمن أراد أن يتم الرضاعة وعلى المولود له رزقهن وكسوتهن بالمعروف لا تكلف نفس إلا وسعها لا تضار والدة بولدها ولا مولود له بولده وعلى الوارث مثل ذلك فإن أرادا فصالا عن تراض منهما وتشاور فلا جناح عليهما وإن أردتم أن تسترضعوا أولادكم فلا جناح عليكم إذا سلمتم ما آتيتم بالمعروف واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله بما تعملون بصير وَالْوَالِدَاتُ يُرْضِعْنَ أَوْلاَدَهُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَةَ وَعَلََى الْمَوْلُودِ لَهُ رِزْقُهُنَّ وَكِسْوَتُهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ لاَ تُكَلَّفُ نَفْسٌ إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا لاَ تُضَآرَّ وَالِدَةٌ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلاَ مَوْلُودٌ لَّهُ بِوَلَدِهِ وَعَلَى الْوَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ فَإِنْ أَرَادَا فِصَالاً عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنْهُمَا وَتَشَاوُرٍ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن تَسْتَرْضِعُواْ أَوْلاَدَكُمْ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْتُم مَّآ آتَيْتُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |والوالدات - And the mothers| يرضعن - shall suckle| أولادهن - their children| حولين - (for) two years| كاملين - complete,| لمن - for whoever| أراد - wishes| أن - to| يتم - complete| الرضاعة - the suckling.| وعلى - And upon| المولود - the father| له - (on) him| رزقهن - (is) their provision| وكسوتهن - and their clothing| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| لا - Not| تكلف - is burdened| نفس - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - its capacity.| لا - Not| تضار - made to suffer| والدة - (the) mother| بولدها - because of her child| ولا - and not| مولود - (the) father| له - (be)| بولده - because of his child.| وعلى - And on| الوارث - the (father's) heir| مثل - (is a duty) like| ذلك - that (of the father).| فإن - Then if| أرادا - they both desire| فصالا - weaning| عن - through| تراض - mutual consent| منهما - of both of them| وتشاور - and consultation,| فلا - then no| جناح - blame| عليهما - on both of them.| وإن - And if| أردتم - you want| أن - to| تسترضعوا - ask another women to suckle| أولادكم - your child| فلا - then (there is) no| جناح - blame| عليكم - on you,| إذا - when| سلمتم - you pay| ما - what| آتيتم - you give| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:261] | Mathalu allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumfee sabeeli Allahi kamathali habbatin anbatatsabAAa sanabila fee kulli sunbulatin mi-atu habbatinwaAllahu yudaAAifu liman yashao waAllahuwasiAAun AAaleemun | مثل الذين ينفقون أموالهم في سبيل الله كمثل حبة أنبتت سبع سنابل في كل سنبلة مائة حبة والله يضاعف لمن يشاء والله واسع عليم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنْبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنْبُلَةٍ مِّئَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَاللّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |مثل - Example| الذين - (of) those who| ينفقون - spend| أموالهم - their wealth| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| كمثل - (is) like| حبة - a grain| أنبتت - which grows| سبع - seven| سنابل - ears,| في - in| كل - each| سنبلة - ear| مائة - hundred| حبة - grain(s).| والله - And Allah| يضاعف - gives manifold| لمن - to whom| يشاء - He wills.| والله - And Allah| واسع - (is) All-Encompassing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 7 [2:275] | Allatheena ya/kuloona alrribala yaqoomoona illa kama yaqoomu allatheeyatakhabbatuhu alshshaytanu mina almassi thalikabi-annahum qaloo innama albayAAu mithlu alrribawaahalla Allahu albayAAa waharrama alrribafaman jaahu mawAAithatun min rabbihi faintahafalahu ma salafa waamruhu ila Allahi wamanAAada faola-ika as-habu alnnarihum feeha khalidoona | الذين يأكلون الربا لا يقومون إلا كما يقوم الذي يتخبطه الشيطان من المس ذلك بأنهم قالوا إنما البيع مثل الربا وأحل الله البيع وحرم الربا فمن جاءه موعظة من ربه فانتهى فله ما سلف وأمره إلى الله ومن عاد فأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ الرِّبَا لاَ يَقُومُونَ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَقُومُ الَّذِي يَتَخَبَّطُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنَ الْمَسِّ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا الْبَيْعُ مِثْلُ الرِّبَا وَأَحَلَّ اللّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا فَمَن جَاءَهُ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَانتَهَى فَلَهُ مَا سَلَفَ وَأَمْرُهُ إِلَى اللّهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يأكلون - consume| الربا - [the] usury| لا - not| يقومون - they can stand| إلا - except| كما - like| يقوم - stands| الذي - the one who,| يتخبطه - confounds him| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| من - with| المس - (his) touch.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| قالوا - say,| إنما - "Only| البيع - the trade| مثل - (is) like| الربا - [the] usury."| وأحل - While has permitted| الله - Allah| البيع - [the] trade| وحرم - but (has) forbidden| الربا - [the] usury.| فمن - Then whoever -| جاءه - comes to him| موعظة - (the) admonition| من - from| ربه - His Lord| فانتهى - and he refrained,| فله - then for him| ما - what| سلف - (has) passed,| وأمره - and his case| إلى - (is) with| الله - Allah,| ومن - and whoever| عاد - repeated| فأولئك - then those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 8 [3:59] | Inna mathala AAeesa AAinda Allahikamathali adama khalaqahu min turabin thumma qalalahu kun fayakoonu | إن مثل عيسى عند الله كمثل آدم خلقه من تراب ثم قال له كن فيكون إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَى عِندَ اللّهِ كَمَثَلِ آدَمَ خَلَقَهُ مِن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| مثل - (the) likeness| عيسى - (of) Isa| عند - near| الله - Allah| كمثل - (is) like (the) likeness| آدم - (of) Adam.| خلقه - He created him| من - from| تراب - dust| ثم - then| قال - He said| له - to him,| كن - "Be,"| فيكون - and he was.| | ||||||
| 9 [3:73] | Wala tu/minoo illa limantabiAAa deenakum qul inna alhuda huda Allahian yu/ta ahadun mithla ma ooteetum aw yuhajjookumAAinda rabbikum qul inna alfadla biyadi Allahiyu/teehi man yashao waAllahu wasiAAunAAaleemun | ولا تؤمنوا إلا لمن تبع دينكم قل إن الهدى هدى الله أن يؤتى أحد مثل ما أوتيتم أو يحاجوكم عند ربكم قل إن الفضل بيد الله يؤتيه من يشاء والله واسع عليم وَلاَ تُؤْمِنُواْ إِلاَّ لِمَن تَبِعَ دِينَكُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ الْهُدَى هُدَى اللّهِ أَن يُؤْتَى أَحَدٌ مِّثْلَ مَا أُوتِيتُمْ أَوْ يُحَآجُّوكُمْ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تؤمنوا - believe| إلا - except| لمن - (the one) who| تبع - follows| دينكم - your religion."| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed| الهدى - the (true) guidance| هدى - (is the) Guidance| الله - (of) Allah -| أن - lest| يؤتى - is given| أحد - (to) one -| مثل - (the) like| ما - (of) what| أوتيتم - was given to you| أو - or| يحاجوكم - they may argue with you| عند - near| ربكم - your Lord."| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| الفضل - the Bounty| بيد - (is) in the Hand| الله - (of) Allah.| يؤتيه - He gives it| من - (to) whom| يشاء - He wills,| والله - and Allah| واسع - (is) All-Encompassing,| عليم - All-Knowing."| | ||||||
| 10 [3:117] | Mathalu ma yunfiqoona fee hathihialhayati alddunya kamathali reehinfeeha sirrun asabat hartha qawmin thalamooanfusahum faahlakat-hu wama thalamahumu Allahuwalakin anfusahum yathlimoona | مثل ما ينفقون في هذه الحياة الدنيا كمثل ريح فيها صر أصابت حرث قوم ظلموا أنفسهم فأهلكته وما ظلمهم الله ولكن أنفسهم يظلمون مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِي هَذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللّهُ وَلَـكِنْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ | |||||

| 11 [4:11] | Yooseekumu Allahu fee awladikumlilththakari mithlu haththialonthayayni fa-in kunna nisaan fawqa ithnatayni falahunnathulutha ma taraka wa-in kanat wahidatanfalaha alnnisfu wali-abawayhi likulli wahidinminhuma alssudusu mimma taraka in kanalahu waladun fa-in lam yakun lahu waladun wawarithahu abawahufali-ommihi alththuluthu fa-in kana lahu ikhwatunfali-ommihi alssudusu min baAAdi wasiyyatin yooseebiha aw daynin abaokum waabnaokum latadroona ayyuhum aqrabu lakum nafAAan fareedatan mina Allahiinna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman | يوصيكم الله في أولادكم للذكر مثل حظ الأنثيين فإن كن نساء فوق اثنتين فلهن ثلثا ما ترك وإن كانت واحدة فلها النصف ولأبويه لكل واحد منهما السدس مما ترك إن كان له ولد فإن لم يكن له ولد وورثه أبواه فلأمه الثلث فإن كان له إخوة فلأمه السدس من بعد وصية يوصي بها أو دين آباؤكم وأبناؤكم لا تدرون أيهم أقرب لكم نفعا فريضة من الله إن الله كان عليما حكيما يُوصِيكُمُ اللّهُ فِي أَوْلاَدِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنثَيَيْنِ فَإِن كُنَّ نِسَاءً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ وَإِن كَانَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِن كَانَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلَدٌ وَوَرِثَهُ أَبَوَاهُ فَلِأُمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ فَلِأُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِي بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ آبَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعاً فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |يوصيكم - Instructs you| الله - Allah| في - concerning| أولادكم - your children -| للذكر - for the male| مثل - like| حظ - (the) portion| الأنثيين - (of) two females.| فإن - But if| كن - there are| نساء - (only) women| فوق - more (than)| اثنتين - two,| فلهن - then for them| ثلثا - two thirds| ما - (of) what| ترك - he left.| وإن - And if| كانت - (there) is| واحدة - (only) one,| فلها - then for her| النصف - (is) half.| ولأبويه - And for his parents,| لكل - for each| واحد - one| منهما - of them| السدس - a sixth| مما - of what| ترك - (is) left,| إن - if| كان - is| له - for him| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| لم - not| يكن - is| له - for him| ولد - any child| وورثه - and inherit[ed] him| أبواه - his parents,| فلأمه - then for his mother| الثلث - (is) one third.| فإن - And if| كان - are| له - for him| إخوة - brothers and sisters,| فلأمه - then for his mother| السدس - (is) the sixth| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصي - he has made| بها - [of which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| آباؤكم - Your parents| وأبناؤكم - and your children -| لا - not| تدرون - you know| أيهم - which of them| أقرب - (is) nearer| لكم - to you| نفعا - (in) benefit.| فريضة - An obligation| من - from| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليما - All-Knowing,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 12 [4:176] | Yastaftoonaka quli Allahu yufteekumfee alkalalati ini imruon halaka laysa lahu waladun walahuokhtun falaha nisfu ma taraka wahuwayarithuha in lam yakun laha waladun fa-in kanataithnatayni falahuma alththuluthani mimmataraka wa-in kanoo ikhwatan rijalan wanisaanfalilththakari mithlu haththialonthayayni yubayyinu Allahu lakum an tadilloo waAllahubikulli shay-in AAaleemun | يستفتونك قل الله يفتيكم في الكلالة إن امرؤ هلك ليس له ولد وله أخت فلها نصف ما ترك وهو يرثها إن لم يكن لها ولد فإن كانتا اثنتين فلهما الثلثان مما ترك وإن كانوا إخوة رجالا ونساء فللذكر مثل حظ الأنثيين يبين الله لكم أن تضلوا والله بكل شيء عليم يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلاَلَةِ إِنِ امْرُؤٌ هَلَكَ لَيْسَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَلَهُ أُخْتٌ فَلَهَا نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَآ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهَا وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَتَا اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُمَا الثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَ وَإِن كَانُواْ إِخْوَةً رِّجَالاً وَنِسَاءً فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنثَيَيْنِ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ أَن تَضِلُّواْ وَاللّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يستفتونك - They seek your ruling.| قل - Say,| الله - "Allah| يفتيكم - gives you a ruling| في - concerning| الكلالة - the Kalala| إن - if| امرؤ - a man| هلك - died| ليس - (and) not| له - he has| ولد - a child| وله - and he has| أخت - a sister,| فلها - then for her| نصف - (is) a half| ما - (of) what| ترك - he left.| وهو - And he| يرثها - will inherit from her| إن - if| لم - not| يكن - is| لها - for her| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| كانتا - there were| اثنتين - two females| فلهما - then for them| الثلثان - two thirds| مما - of what| ترك - he left.| وإن - But if| كانوا - they were| إخوة - brothers and sisters| رجالا - men| ونساء - and women,| فللذكر - then the male will have| مثل - like| حظ - share| الأنثيين - (of) the two females.| يبين - makes clear| الله - Allah| لكم - to you| أن - lest| تضلوا - you go astray.| والله - And Allah| بكل - of every| شيء - thing| عليم - (is) All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 13 [5:31] | FabaAAatha Allahu ghuraban yabhathufee al-ardi liyuriyahu kayfa yuwaree saw-ataakheehi qala ya waylata aAAajaztu an akoonamithla hatha alghurabi faowariya saw-ataakhee faasbaha mina alnnadimeena | فبعث الله غرابا يبحث في الأرض ليريه كيف يواري سوءة أخيه قال يا ويلتا أعجزت أن أكون مثل هذا الغراب فأواري سوءة أخي فأصبح من النادمين فَبَعَثَ اللّهُ غُرَابًا يَبْحَثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ لِيُرِيَهُ كَيْفَ يُوَارِي سَوْءَةَ أَخِيهِ قَالَ يَا وَيْلَتَا أَعَجَزْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ هَـذَا الْغُرَابِ فَأُوَارِيَ سَوْءَةَ أَخِي فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ النَّادِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فبعث - Then (was) sent| الله - (by) Allah| غرابا - a crow,| يبحث - it (was) scratching| في - in| الأرض - the earth| ليريه - to show him| كيف - how| يواري - to hide| سوءة - (the) dead body| أخيه - (of) his brother.| قال - He said,| يا - O| ويلتا - "Woe to me!| أعجزت - Am I unable| أن - that| أكون - I can be| مثل - like| هذا - this| الغراب - [the] crow| فأواري - and hide| سوءة - (the) dead body| أخي - (of) my brother?"| فأصبح - Then he became| من - of| النادمين - the regretful.| | ||||||
| 14 [5:95] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola taqtuloo alssayda waantum hurumunwaman qatalahu minkum mutaAAammidan fajazaon mithlu maqatala mina alnnaAAami yahkumu bihi thawaAAadlin minkum hadyan baligha alkaAAbati aw kaffaratuntaAAamu masakeena aw AAadlu thalika siyamanliyathooqa wabala amrihi AAafa AllahuAAamma salafa waman AAada fayantaqimu Allahuminhu waAllahu AAazeezun thoo intiqamin | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تقتلوا الصيد وأنتم حرم ومن قتله منكم متعمدا فجزاء مثل ما قتل من النعم يحكم به ذوا عدل منكم هديا بالغ الكعبة أو كفارة طعام مساكين أو عدل ذلك صياما ليذوق وبال أمره عفا الله عما سلف ومن عاد فينتقم الله منه والله عزيز ذو انتقام يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَقْتُلُواْ الصَّيْدَ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ وَمَن قَتَلَهُ مِنكُم مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاءٌ مِّثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ النَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِهِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ هَدْيًا بَالِغَ الْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّارَةٌ طَعَامُ مَسَاكِينَ أَو عَدْلُ ذَلِكَ صِيَامًا لِّيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِ عَفَا اللّهُ عَمَّا سَلَف وَمَنْ عَادَ فَيَنتَقِمُ اللّهُ مِنْهُ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| لا - (Do) not| تقتلوا - kill| الصيد - the game| وأنتم - while you| حرم - (are in) Ihram.| ومن - And whoever| قتله - killed it| منكم - among you| متعمدا - intentionally,| فجزاء - then penalty| مثل - (is) similar| ما - (to) what| قتل - he killed| من - of| النعم - the cattle,| يحكم - judging| به - it| ذوا - two men,| عدل - just,| منكم - among you| هديا - (as) an offering| بالغ - reaching| الكعبة - the Kabah| أو - or| كفارة - an expiation -| طعام - feeding| مساكين - needy people| أو - or| عدل - equivalent| ذلك - (of) that| صياما - (in) fasting,| ليذوق - that he may taste| وبال - (the) consequence| أمره - (of) his deed.| عفا - Pardoned| الله - (by) Allah| عما - what| سلف - (has) passed,| ومن - but whoever| عاد - returned,| فينتقم - then will take retribution| الله - Allah| منه - from him.| والله - And Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| ذو - Owner| انتقام - (of) Retribution.| | ||||||
| 15 [6:93] | Waman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi kathiban aw qala oohiyailayya walam yooha ilayhi shay-on waman qalasaonzilu mithla ma anzala Allahu walaw taraithi alththalimoona fee ghamaratialmawti waalmala-ikatu basitooaydeehim akhrijoo anfusakumu alyawma tujzawna AAathabaalhooni bima kuntum taqooloona AAala Allahighayra alhaqqi wakuntum AAan ayatihitastakbiroona | ومن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو قال أوحي إلي ولم يوح إليه شيء ومن قال سأنزل مثل ما أنزل الله ولو ترى إذ الظالمون في غمرات الموت والملائكة باسطو أيديهم أخرجوا أنفسكم اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون بما كنتم تقولون على الله غير الحق وكنتم عن آياته تستكبرون وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثْلَ مَا أَنَزلَ اللّهُ وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَالْمَلَآئِكَةُ بَاسِطُواْ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُواْ أَنفُسَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهِ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| افترى - invents| على - about| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie| أو - or| قال - said,| أوحي - "It has been inspired| إلي - to me"| ولم - while not| يوح - it was inspired| إليه - to him| شيء - anything,| ومن - and (one) who| قال - said,| سأنزل - "I will reveal| مثل - like| ما - what| أنزل - (has been) revealed| الله - (by) Allah."| ولو - And if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| الظالمون - the wrongdoers| في - (are) in| غمرات - agonies| الموت - (of) [the] death| والملائكة - while the Angels| باسطو - (are) stretching out| أيديهم - their hands (saying),| أخرجوا - "Discharge| أنفسكم - your souls!| اليوم - Today| تجزون - you will be recompensed| عذاب - (with) punishment,| الهون - humiliating,| بما - because| كنتم - you used to| تقولون - say| على - against| الله - Allah| غير - other than| الحق - the truth| وكنتم - and you were| عن - towards| آياته - His Verses| تستكبرون - being arrogant."| | ||||||
| 16 [6:124] | Wa-itha jaat-hum ayatunqaloo lan nu/mina hatta nu/ta mithlama ootiya rusulu Allahi Allahu aAAlamu haythuyajAAalu risalatahu sayuseebu allatheenaajramoo sagharun AAinda Allahi waAAathabunshadeedun bima kanoo yamkuroona | وإذا جاءتهم آية قالوا لن نؤمن حتى نؤتى مثل ما أوتي رسل الله الله أعلم حيث يجعل رسالته سيصيب الذين أجرموا صغار عند الله وعذاب شديد بما كانوا يمكرون وَإِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَةٌ قَالُواْ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ حَتَّى نُؤْتَى مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ اللّهِ اللّهُ أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ يَجْعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُ سَيُصِيبُ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُواْ صَغَارٌ عِندَ اللّهِ وَعَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَمْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| جاءتهم - comes to them| آية - a Sign| قالوا - they say,| لن - "Never| نؤمن - we will believe| حتى - until| نؤتى - we are given| مثل - like| ما - what| أوتي - was given| رسل - (to the) Messengers| الله - (of) Allah."| الله - Allah| أعلم - knows best| حيث - where| يجعل - He places| رسالته - His Message.| سيصيب - Will afflict| الذين - those who| أجرموا - committed crimes| صغار - a humiliation| عند - from| الله - Allah| وعذاب - and a punishment| شديد - severe| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يمكرون - plot.| | ||||||
| 17 [7:176] | Walaw shi/na larafaAAnahu bihawalakinnahu akhlada ila al-ardi waittabaAAahawahu famathaluhu kamathali alkalbi in tahmilAAalayhi yalhath aw tatruk-hu yalhath thalika mathalualqawmi allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinafaoqsusi alqasasa laAAallahumyatafakkaroona | ولو شئنا لرفعناه بها ولكنه أخلد إلى الأرض واتبع هواه فمثله كمثل الكلب إن تحمل عليه يلهث أو تتركه يلهث ذلك مثل القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا فاقصص القصص لعلهم يتفكرون وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَرَفَعْنَاهُ بِهَا وَلَـكِنَّهُ أَخْلَدَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ فَمَثَلُهُ كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ إِن تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْهِ يَلْهَثْ أَوْ تَتْرُكْهُ يَلْهَث ذَّلِكَ مَثَلُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا فَاقْصُصِ الْقَصَصَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| شئنا - We willed| لرفعناه - surely, We (could) have raised him| بها - with these| ولكنه - [and] but he| أخلد - adhered| إلى - to| الأرض - the earth| واتبع - and followed| هواه - his (vain) desires.| فمثله - So his example| كمثل - (is) like (the) example| الكلب - (of) the dog,| إن - if| تحمل - you attack| عليه - [on] him,| يلهث - he lolls out his tongue| أو - or| تتركه - if you leave him,| يلهث - he lolls out his tongue.| ذلك - That| مثل - (is the) example| القوم - (of) the people| الذين - who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - [in] Our Signs.| فاقصص - So relate| القصص - the story| لعلهم - so that they may| يتفكرون - reflect.| | ||||||
| 18 [8:31] | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunaqaloo qad samiAAna law nashao laqulnamithla hatha in hatha illa asateerual-awwaleena | وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا قالوا قد سمعنا لو نشاء لقلنا مثل هذا إن هذا إلا أساطير الأولين وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا قَالُواْ قَدْ سَمِعْنَا لَوْ نَشَاءُ لَقُلْنَا مِثْلَ هَـذَا إِنْ هَـذَا إِلاَّ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||

| 19 [10:24] | Innama mathalu alhayatialddunya kama-in anzalnahu mina alssama-ifaikhtalata bihi nabatu al-ardi mimmaya/kulu alnnasu waal-anAAamu hattaitha akhathati al-ardu zukhrufaha waizzayyanatwathanna ahluha annahum qadiroonaAAalayha ataha amruna laylan aw naharanfajaAAalnaha haseedan kaan lam taghnabial-amsi kathalika nufassilu al-ayatiliqawmin yatafakkaroona | إنما مثل الحياة الدنيا كماء أنزلناه من السماء فاختلط به نبات الأرض مما يأكل الناس والأنعام حتى إذا أخذت الأرض زخرفها وازينت وظن أهلها أنهم قادرون عليها أتاها أمرنا ليلا أو نهارا فجعلناها حصيدا كأن لم تغن بالأمس كذلك نفصل الآيات لقوم يتفكرون إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَاءٍ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَاخْتَلَطَ بِهِ نَبَاتُ الْأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ وَالْأَنْعَامُ حَتَّىَ إِذَا أَخَذَتِ الْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَا أَنَّهُمْ قَادِرُونَ عَلَيْهَآ أَتَاهَا أَمْرُنَا لَيْلاً أَوْ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلْنَاهَا حَصِيدًا كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِالْأَمْسِ كَذَلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||

| 20 [10:102] | Fahal yantathiroona illamithla ayyami allatheena khalaw min qablihim qul faintathirooinnee maAAakum mina almuntathireena | فهل ينتظرون إلا مثل أيام الذين خلوا من قبلهم قل فانتظروا إني معكم من المنتظرين فَهَلْ يَنتَظِرُونَ إِلاَّ مِثْلَ أَيَّامِ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قُلْ فَانتَظِرُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ | |||||
