| 1 [2:80] | Waqaloo lan tamassana alnnaruilla ayyaman maAAdoodatan qul attakhathtumAAinda Allahi AAahdan falan yukhlifa AllahuAAahdahu am taqooloona AAala Allahi ma lataAAlamoona |  وقالوا لن تمسنا النار إلا أياما معدودة قل أتخذتم عند الله عهدا فلن يخلف الله عهده أم تقولون على الله ما لا تعلمونوَقَالُواْ لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلاَّ أَيَّاماً مَّعْدُوْدَةً قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِنْدَ اللّهِ عَهْدًا فَلَنْ يُّخْلِفَ اللّهُ عَهْدَهُ أَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| لن - "Never| تمسنا - will touch us| النار - the Fire| إلا - except| أياما - (for) days| معدودة - numbered."| قل - Say,| أتخذتم - "Have you taken| عند - from| الله - Allah| عهدا - a covenant,| فلن - so never| يخلف - will break| الله - Allah| عهده - His Covenant?| أم - Or| تقولون - (do) you say| على - against| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?"| | ||||||
| 2 [3:85] | Waman yabtaghi ghayra al-islamideenan falan yuqbala minhu wahuwa fee al-akhirati minaalkhasireena | ومن يبتغ غير الإسلام دينا فلن يقبل منه وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يبتغ - seeks| غير - other than| الإسلام - [the] Islam| دينا - (as) religion| فلن - then never| يقبل - will be accepted| منه - from him,| وهو - and he| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter,| من - (will be) from| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:91] | Inna allatheena kafaroo wamatoowahum kuffarun falan yuqbala min ahadihim miloal-ardi thahaban walawi iftada bihi ola-ikalahum AAathabun aleemun wama lahum min nasireena | إن الذين كفروا وماتوا وهم كفار فلن يقبل من أحدهم ملء الأرض ذهبا ولو افتدى به أولئك لهم عذاب أليم وما لهم من ناصرين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِم مِّلْءُ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا وَلَوِ افْتَدَى بِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| وماتوا - and died| وهم - while they| كفار - (are) disbelievers,| فلن - then never| يقبل - will be accepted| من - from| أحدهم - any one of them| ملء - full| الأرض - earth| ذهبا - (of) gold| ولو - [and] (even) if| افتدى - he offered as ransom| به - it.| أولئك - Those -| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful| وما - and not| لهم - (will be) for them| من - any| ناصرين - helpers.| | ||||||
| 4 [3:115] | Wama yafAAaloo min khayrin falanyukfaroohu waAllahu AAaleemun bialmuttaqeena | وما يفعلوا من خير فلن يكفروه والله عليم بالمتقين وَمَا يَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلَن يُكْفَرُوْهُ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And whatever| يفعلوا - they do| من - of| خير - a good,| فلن - then never| يكفروه - will they be denied it.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knowing| بالمتقين - of the God-fearing.| | ||||||
| 5 [3:144] | Wama muhammadun illarasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu afa-in mataaw qutila inqalabtum AAala aAAqabikum wamanyanqalib AAala AAaqibayhi falan yadurra Allahashay-an wasayajzee Allahu alshshakireena | وما محمد إلا رسول قد خلت من قبله الرسل أفإن مات أو قتل انقلبتم على أعقابكم ومن ينقلب على عقبيه فلن يضر الله شيئا وسيجزي الله الشاكرين وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلاَّ رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ أَفَإِن مَّاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ وَمَن يَنقَلِبْ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَن يَضُرَّ اللّهَ شَيْئًا وَسَيَجْزِي اللّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| محمد - (is) Muhammad -| إلا - except| رسول - a Messenger,| قد - certainly| خلت - passed away| من - from| قبله - before him| الرسل - [the] (other) Messengers.| أفإن - So if| مات - he died| أو - or| قتل - is slain| انقلبتم - will you turn back| على - on| أعقابكم - your heels?| ومن - And whoever| ينقلب - turns back| على - on| عقبيه - his heels| فلن - then never| يضر - will he harm| الله - Allah| شيئا - (in) anything.| وسيجزي - And will reward| الله - Allah| الشاكرين - the grateful ones.| | ||||||
| 6 [4:52] | Ola-ika allatheena laAAanahumuAllahu waman yalAAani Allahu falan tajida lahu naseeran | أولئك الذين لعنهم الله ومن يلعن الله فلن تجد له نصيرا أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ اللّهُ وَمَن يَلْعَنِ اللّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ نَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones| لعنهم - (who have been) cursed| الله - (by) Allah,| ومن - and whoever| يلعن - (is) cursed| الله - (by) Allah| فلن - then never| تجد - will you find| له - for him| نصيرا - (any) helper.| | ||||||
| 7 [4:88] | Fama lakum fee almunafiqeenafi-atayni waAllahu arkasahum bima kasabooatureedoona an tahdoo man adalla Allahu waman yudliliAllahu falan tajida lahu sabeelan | فما لكم في المنافقين فئتين والله أركسهم بما كسبوا أتريدون أن تهدوا من أضل الله ومن يضلل الله فلن تجد له سبيلا فَمَا لَكُمْ فِي الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِئَتَيْنِ وَاللّهُ أَرْكَسَهُم بِمَا كَسَبُواْ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَهْدُواْ مَنْ أَضَلَّ اللّهُ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |فما - So what| لكم - (is the matter) with you| في - concerning| المنافقين - the hypocrites (that)| فئتين - (you have become) two parties?| والله - While Allah| أركسهم - cast them back| بما - for what| كسبوا - they earned.| أتريدون - Do you wish| أن - that| تهدوا - you guide| من - whom| أضل - is let astray| الله - (by) Allah?| ومن - And whoever| يضلل - is let astray| الله - (by) Allah,| فلن - then never| تجد - will you find| له - for him| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 8 [4:143] | Muthabthabeena bayna thalikala ila haola-i wala ilahaola-i waman yudlili Allahu falantajida lahu sabeelan | مذبذبين بين ذلك لا إلى هؤلاء ولا إلى هؤلاء ومن يضلل الله فلن تجد له سبيلا مُّذَبْذَبِينَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ لاَ إِلَى هَـؤُلاَءِ وَلاَ إِلَى هَـؤُلاَءِ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |مذبذبين - Wavering| بين - between| ذلك - that,| لا - not| إلى - to| هؤلاء - these| ولا - and not| إلى - to| هؤلاء - those.| ومن - And whoever| يضلل - has been lead astray| الله - (by) Allah -| فلن - then never| تجد - you will find| له - for him| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 9 [5:41] | Ya ayyuha alrrasoolu layahzunka allatheena yusariAAoona fee alkufrimina allatheena qaloo amanna bi-afwahihimwalam tu/min quloobuhum wamina allatheena hadoosammaAAoona lilkathibi sammaAAoona liqawmin akhareenalam ya/tooka yuharrifoona alkalima min baAAdi mawadiAAihiyaqooloona in ooteetum hatha fakhuthoohu wa-in lamtu/tawhu faihtharoo waman yuridi Allahufitnatahu falan tamlika lahu mina Allahi shay-an ola-ikaallatheena lam yuridi Allahu an yutahhiraquloobahum lahum fee alddunya khizyun walahum feeal-akhirati AAathabun AAatheemun | يا أيها الرسول لا يحزنك الذين يسارعون في الكفر من الذين قالوا آمنا بأفواههم ولم تؤمن قلوبهم ومن الذين هادوا سماعون للكذب سماعون لقوم آخرين لم يأتوك يحرفون الكلم من بعد مواضعه يقولون إن أوتيتم هذا فخذوه وإن لم تؤتوه فاحذروا ومن يرد الله فتنته فلن تملك له من الله شيئا أولئك الذين لم يرد الله أن يطهر قلوبهم لهم في الدنيا خزي ولهم في الآخرة عذاب عظيم يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ لاَ يَحْزُنكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ آمَنَّا بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِن قُلُوبُهُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّاعُونَ لِقَوْمٍ آخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ مِن بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِهِ يَقُولُونَ إِنْ أُوتِيتُمْ هَـذَا فَخُذُوهُ وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَاحْذَرُواْ وَمَن يُرِدِ اللّهُ فِتْنَتَهُ فَلَن تَمْلِكَ لَهُ مِنَ اللّهِ شَيْئًا أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ اللّهُ أَن يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمْ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| الرسول - Messenger!| لا - Let not| يحزنك - grieve you| الذين - those who| يسارعون - hasten| في - in (to)| الكفر - [the] disbelief -| من - of| الذين - those who| قالوا - said,| آمنا - "We believe"| بأفواههم - with their mouths| ولم - and not| تؤمن - believe| قلوبهم - their hearts,| ومن - and from| الذين - those who| هادوا - (are) Jews.| سماعون - They (are) listeners| للكذب - to falsehood,| سماعون - (and) listeners| لقوم - for people,| آخرين - other,| لم - (who have) not| يأتوك - come to you.| يحرفون - They distort| الكلم - the words| من - from| بعد - after| مواضعه - their context,| يقولون - saying,| إن - "If| أوتيتم - you are given| هذا - this| فخذوه - [so] take it| وإن - but if| لم - not| تؤتوه - you are given it| فاحذروا - then beware."| ومن - And (for) whom| يرد - intends| الله - Allah| فتنته - his trial,| فلن - then never| تملك - will you have power| له - for him| من - against| الله - Allah| شيئا - anything.| أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones| لم - never| يرد - will intend| الله - Allah| أن - that| يطهر - He purifies| قلوبهم - their hearts.| لهم - For them| في - in| الدنيا - the world| خزي - (is) disgrace| ولهم - and for them| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 10 [5:42] | SammaAAoona lilkathibi akkaloonalilssuhti fa-in jaooka faohkumbaynahum aw aAArid AAanhum wa-in tuAArid AAanhumfalan yadurrooka shay-an wa-in hakamta faohkumbaynahum bialqisti inna Allaha yuhibbualmuqsiteena | سماعون للكذب أكالون للسحت فإن جاءوك فاحكم بينهم أو أعرض عنهم وإن تعرض عنهم فلن يضروك شيئا وإن حكمت فاحكم بينهم بالقسط إن الله يحب المقسطين سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ أَكَّالُونَ لِلسُّحْتِ فَإِن جَآؤُوكَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَإِن تُعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ فَلَن يَضُرُّوكَ شَيْئًا وَإِنْ حَكَمْتَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْقِسْطِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ | |||||
| Words | |سماعون - Listeners| للكذب - to [the] falsehood,| أكالون - devourers| للسحت - of the forbidden.| فإن - So if| جاءوك - they come to you| فاحكم - then judge| بينهم - between them| أو - or| أعرض - turn away| عنهم - from them.| وإن - And if| تعرض - you turn away| عنهم - from them,| فلن - then never| يضروك - will they harm you| شيئا - (in) anything.| وإن - And if| حكمت - you judge,| فاحكم - then judge| بينهم - between them| بالقسط - with [the] justice.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يحب - loves| المقسطين - the ones who are just.| | ||||||
| 11 [9:80] | Istaghfir lahum aw la tastaghfirlahum in tastaghfir lahum sabAAeena marratan falan yaghfira Allahulahum thalika bi-annahum kafaroo biAllahiwarasoolihi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena | استغفر لهم أو لا تستغفر لهم إن تستغفر لهم سبعين مرة فلن يغفر الله لهم ذلك بأنهم كفروا بالله ورسوله والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين اسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لاَ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ إِن تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً فَلَن يَغْفِرَ اللّهُ لَهُمْ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |استغفر - Ask forgiveness| لهم - for them| أو - or| لا - (do) not| تستغفر - ask forgiveness| لهم - for them.| إن - If| تستغفر - you ask forgiveness| لهم - for them| سبعين - seventy| مرة - times,| فلن - never| يغفر - will Allah forgive| الله - will Allah forgive| لهم - [for] them.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| كفروا - disbelieved| بالله - in Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| والله - and Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people,| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 12 [12:80] | Falamma istay-asoo minhu khalasoonajiyyan qala kabeeruhum alam taAAlamoo anna abakumqad akhatha AAalaykum mawthiqan mina Allahi waminqablu ma farrattum fee yoosufa falan abrahaal-arda hatta ya/thana lee abee aw yahkumaAllahu lee wahuwa khayru alhakimeena | فلما استيأسوا منه خلصوا نجيا قال كبيرهم ألم تعلموا أن أباكم قد أخذ عليكم موثقا من الله ومن قبل ما فرطتم في يوسف فلن أبرح الأرض حتى يأذن لي أبي أو يحكم الله لي وهو خير الحاكمين فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْأَسُواْ مِنْهُ خَلَصُواْ نَجِيًّا قَالَ كَبِيرُهُمْ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ أَبَاكُمْ قَدْ أَخَذَ عَلَيْكُم مَّوْثِقًا مِّنَ اللّهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ مَا فَرَّطتُمْ فِي يُوسُفَ فَلَنْ أَبْرَحَ الْأَرْضَ حَتَّىَ يَأْذَنَ لِي أَبِي أَوْ يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ لِي وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| استيأسوا - they despaired| منه - of him,| خلصوا - they secluded themselves| نجيا - (in) private consultation.| قال - Said| كبيرهم - the eldest among them,| ألم - "Do not| تعلموا - you know| أن - that| أباكم - your father,| قد - has taken| أخذ - has taken| عليكم - upon you| موثقا - a promise| من - by| الله - Allah,| ومن - and before| قبل - and before| ما - that| فرطتم - you failed| في - concerning| يوسف - Yusuf?| فلن - So never| أبرح - will I leave| الأرض - the land| حتى - until| يأذن - permits| لي - me| أبي - my father| أو - or| يحكم - Allah decides| الله - Allah decides| لي - for me,| وهو - and He| خير - (is) the Best| الحاكمين - (of) the judges.| | ||||||
| 13 [17:97] | Waman yahdi Allahu fahuwa almuhtadiwaman yudlil falan tajida lahum awliyaa min doonihiwanahshuruhum yawma alqiyamati AAalawujoohihim AAumyan wabukman wasumman ma/wahumjahannamu kullama khabat zidnahum saAAeeran | ومن يهد الله فهو المهتد ومن يضلل فلن تجد لهم أولياء من دونه ونحشرهم يوم القيامة على وجوههم عميا وبكما وصما مأواهم جهنم كلما خبت زدناهم سعيرا وَمَن يَهْدِ اللّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِهِ وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ عُمْيًا وَبُكْمًا وَصُمًّا مَّأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ كُلَّمَا خَبَتْ زِدْنَاهُمْ سَعِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يهد - Allah guides| الله - Allah guides| فهو - then he (is)| المهتد - the guided one;| ومن - and whoever| يضلل - He lets go astray -| فلن - then never| تجد - you will find| لهم - for them| أولياء - protectors| من - besides Him.| دونه - besides Him.| ونحشرهم - And We will gather them| يوم - (on) the Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection| على - on| وجوههم - their faces -| عميا - blind| وبكما - and dumb| وصما - and deaf.| مأواهم - Their abode| جهنم - (is) Hell;| كلما - every time| خبت - it subsides,| زدناهم - We (will) increase (for) them| سعيرا - the blazing fire.| | ||||||
| 14 [18:17] | Watara alshshamsa itha talaAAattazawaru AAan kahfihim thata alyameeni wa-ithagharabat taqriduhum thata alshshimaliwahum fee fajwatin minhu thalika min ayatiAllahi man yahdi Allahu fahuwa almuhtadi waman yudlilfalan tajida lahu waliyyan murshidan | وترى الشمس إذا طلعت تزاور عن كهفهم ذات اليمين وإذا غربت تقرضهم ذات الشمال وهم في فجوة منه ذلك من آيات الله من يهد الله فهو المهتد ومن يضلل فلن تجد له وليا مرشدا وَتَرَى الشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَت تَّزَاوَرُ عَن كَهْفِهِمْ ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَإِذَا غَرَبَت تَّقْرِضُهُمْ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَهُمْ فِي فَجْوَةٍ مِّنْهُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ مَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ وَلِيًّا مُّرْشِدًا | |||||
| Words | |وترى - And you (might) have seen| الشمس - the sun,| إذا - when| طلعت - it rose,| تزاور - inclining away| عن - from| كهفهم - their cave| ذات - to| اليمين - the right,| وإذا - and when| غربت - it set,| تقرضهم - passing away from them| ذات - to| الشمال - the left| وهم - while they| في - (lay) in| فجوة - the open space| منه - thereof.| ذلك - That| من - (was) from| آيات - (the) Signs| الله - (of) Allah.| من - Whoever| يهد - Allah guides| الله - Allah guides| فهو - and he| المهتد - (is) the guided one,| ومن - and whoever| يضلل - He lets go astray| فلن - then never| تجد - you will find| له - for him| وليا - a protector,| مرشدا - a guide.| | ||||||
| 15 [18:41] | Aw yusbiha maohaghawran falan tastateeAAa lahu talaban | أو يصبح ماؤها غورا فلن تستطيع له طلبا أَوْ يُصْبِحَ مَاؤُهَا غَوْرًا فَلَن تَسْتَطِيعَ لَهُ طَلَبًا | |||||
| Words | |أو - Or| يصبح - will become,| ماؤها - its water,| غورا - sunken,| فلن - so never| تستطيع - you will be able| له - to find it."| طلبا - to find it."| | ||||||
| 16 [18:57] | Waman athlamu mimman thukkirabi-ayati rabbihi faaAArada AAanhawanasiya ma qaddamat yadahu inna jaAAalnaAAala quloobihim akinnatan an yafqahoohu wafee athanihimwaqran wa-in tadAAuhum ila alhuda falan yahtadoo ithanabadan | ومن أظلم ممن ذكر بآيات ربه فأعرض عنها ونسي ما قدمت يداه إنا جعلنا على قلوبهم أكنة أن يفقهوه وفي آذانهم وقرا وإن تدعهم إلى الهدى فلن يهتدوا إذا أبدا وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا وَنَسِيَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا وَإِن تَدْعُهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى فَلَن يَهْتَدُوا إِذًا أَبَدًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And who| أظلم - (is) more wrong| ممن - than (he) who| ذكر - is reminded| بآيات - of the Verses| ربه - (of) his Lord,| فأعرض - but turns away| عنها - from them,| ونسي - and forgets| ما - what| قدمت - have sent forth| يداه - his hands?| إنا - Indeed, We| جعلنا - [We] have placed| على - over| قلوبهم - their hearts| أكنة - coverings,| أن - lest| يفقهوه - they understand it| وفي - and in| آذانهم - their ears| وقرا - (is) deafness.| وإن - And if| تدعهم - you call them| إلى - to| الهدى - the guidance,| فلن - then never| يهتدوا - they will be guided| إذا - then| أبدا - ever.| | ||||||
| 17 [19:26] | Fakulee waishrabee waqarree AAaynanfa-imma tarayinna mina albashari ahadan faqooleeinnee nathartu lilrrahmani sawmanfalan okallima alyawma insiyyan | فكلي واشربي وقري عينا فإما ترين من البشر أحدا فقولي إني نذرت للرحمن صوما فلن أكلم اليوم إنسيا فَكُلِي وَاشْرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيْنًا فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الْبَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقُولِي إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَنِ صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ الْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |فكلي - So eat| واشربي - and drink| وقري - and cool| عينا - (your) eyes.| فإما - And if| ترين - you see| من - from| البشر - human being| أحدا - anyone| فقولي - then say,| إني - "Indeed, I| نذرت - [I] have vowed| للرحمن - to the Most Gracious| صوما - a fast,| فلن - so not| أكلم - I will speak| اليوم - today| إنسيا - (to any) human being."| | ||||||
| 18 [28:17] | Qala rabbi bima anAAamtaAAalayya falan akoona thaheeran lilmujrimeena | قال رب بما أنعمت علي فلن أكون ظهيرا للمجرمين قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًا لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "My Lord!| بما - Because| أنعمت - You have favored| علي - [on] me,| فلن - so not| أكون - I will be| ظهيرا - a supporter| للمجرمين - (of) the criminals."| | ||||||
| 19 [35:43] | Istikbaran fee al-ardi wamakraalssayyi-i wala yaheequ almakru alssayyi-oilla bi-ahlihi fahal yanthuroona illasunnata al-awwaleena falan tajida lisunnati Allahitabdeelan walan tajida lisunnati Allahi tahweelan | استكبارا في الأرض ومكر السيئ ولا يحيق المكر السيئ إلا بأهله فهل ينظرون إلا سنت الأولين فلن تجد لسنت الله تبديلا ولن تجد لسنت الله تحويلا اسْتِكْبَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |استكبارا - (Due to) arrogance| في - in| الأرض - the land| ومكر - and plotting| السيئ - (of) the evil;| ولا - but not| يحيق - encompasses| المكر - the plot| السيئ - (of) the evil| إلا - except| بأهله - its own people.| فهل - Then do| ينظرون - they wait| إلا - except| سنت - (the) way| الأولين - (of) the former (people)?| فلن - But never| تجد - you will find| لسنت - in (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| تبديلا - any change,| ولن - and never| تجد - you will find| لسنت - in (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| تحويلا - any alteration.| | ||||||
| 20 [47:4] | Fa-itha laqeetumu allatheenakafaroo fadarba alrriqabi hattaitha athkhantumoohum fashuddoo alwathaqa fa-immamannan baAAdu wa-imma fidaan hatta tadaAAaalharbu awzaraha thalika walaw yashaoAllahu laintasara minhum walakinliyabluwa baAAdakum bibaAAdin waallatheenaqutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi falan yudilla aAAmalahumsayahdeehim wayuslihu balahum | فإذا لقيتم الذين كفروا فضرب الرقاب حتى إذا أثخنتموهم فشدوا الوثاق فإما منا بعد وإما فداء حتى تضع الحرب أوزارها ذلك ولو يشاء الله لانتصر منهم ولكن ليبلو بعضكم ببعض والذين قتلوا في سبيل الله فلن يضل أعمالهم فَإِذا لَقِيتُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَضَرْبَ الرِّقَابِ حَتَّى إِذَا أَثْخَنتُمُوهُمْ فَشُدُّوا الْوَثَاقَ فَإِمَّا مَنًّا بَعْدُ وَإِمَّا فِدَاءً حَتَّى تَضَعَ الْحَرْبُ أَوْزَارَهَا ذَلِكَ وَلَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ لَانتَصَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَلَكِن لِّيَبْلُوَاْ بَعْضَكُم بِبَعْضٍ وَالَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَلَن يُضِلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - So when| لقيتم - you meet| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| فضرب - then strike| الرقاب - the necks| حتى - until| إذا - when| أثخنتموهم - you have subdued them,| فشدوا - then bind firmly| الوثاق - the bond,| فإما - then either| منا - a favor| بعد - afterwards| وإما - or| فداء - ransom| حتى - until| تضع - lays down| الحرب - the war| أوزارها - its burdens.| ذلك - That.| ولو - And if| يشاء - Allah had willed| الله - Allah had willed| لانتصر - surely, He could have taken retribution| منهم - from them,| ولكن - but| ليبلو - to test| بعضكم - some of you| ببعض - with others.| والذين - And those who| قتلوا - are killed| في - in| سبيل - (the) way of Allah,| الله - (the) way of Allah,| فلن - then never| يضل - He will cause to be lost| أعمالهم - their deeds.| | ||||||
