| 1 [2:145] | Wala-in atayta allatheena ootooalkitaba bikulli ayatin ma tabiAAooqiblataka wama anta bitabiAAin qiblatahum wamabaAAduhum bitabiAAin qiblata baAAdinwala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum min baAAdi ma jaakamina alAAilmi innaka ithan lamina alththalimeena |  ولئن أتيت الذين أوتوا الكتاب بكل آية ما تبعوا قبلتك وما أنت بتابع قبلتهم وما بعضهم بتابع قبلة بعض ولئن اتبعت أهواءهم من بعد ما جاءك من العلم إنك إذا لمن الظالمينوَلَئِنْ أَتَيْتَ الَّذِينَ أُوْتُواْ الْكِتَابَ بِكُلِّ آيَةٍ مَّا تَبِعُواْ قِبْلَتَكَ وَمَا أَنتَ بِتَابِعٍ قِبْلَتَهُمْ وَمَا بَعْضُهُم بِتَابِعٍ قِبْلَةَ بَعْضٍ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ إِنَّكَ إِذاً لَّمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And even if| أتيت - you come| الذين - (to) those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| بكل - with all| آية - (the) signs,| ما - not| تبعوا - they would follow| قبلتك - your direction of prayer,| وما - and not| أنت - (will) you (be)| بتابع - a follower| قبلتهم - (of) their direction of prayer.| وما - And not| بعضهم - some of them| بتابع - (are) followers| قبلة - (of the) direction of prayer| بعض - (of each) other.| ولئن - And if| اتبعت - you followed| أهواءهم - their desires| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| جاءك - came to you| من - of| العلم - the knowledge,| إنك - indeed, you| إذا - (would) then| لمن - (be) surely among| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:156] | Allatheena itha asabat-hummuseebatun qaloo inna lillahi wa-innailayhi rajiAAoona | الذين إذا أصابتهم مصيبة قالوا إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُواْ إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ | |||||

| 3 [2:177] | Laysa albirra an tuwalloo wujoohakum qibalaalmashriqi waalmaghribi walakinna albirra man amanabiAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri waalmala-ikatiwaalkitabi waalnnabiyyeena waataalmala AAala hubbihi thawee alqurbawaalyatama waalmasakeena waibnaalssabeeli waalssa-ileena wafee alrriqabiwaaqama alssalata waataalzzakata waalmoofoona biAAahdihim ithaAAahadoo waalssabireena fee alba/sa-iwaalddarra-i waheena alba/si ola-ikaallatheena sadaqoo waola-ika humualmuttaqoona | ليس البر أن تولوا وجوهكم قبل المشرق والمغرب ولكن البر من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر والملائكة والكتاب والنبيين وآتى المال على حبه ذوي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل والسائلين وفي الرقاب وأقام الصلاة وآتى الزكاة والموفون بعهدهم إذا عاهدوا والصابرين في البأساء والضراء وحين البأس أولئك الذين صدقوا وأولئك هم المتقون لَّيْسَ الْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلَـكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ ذَوِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَالسَّآئِلِينَ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَالْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَاهَدُواْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ فِي الْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَحِينَ الْبَأْسِ أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَأُولَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ليس - It is not| البر - [the] righteousness| أن - that| تولوا - you turn| وجوهكم - your faces| قبل - towards| المشرق - the east| والمغرب - and the west,| ولكن - [and] but| البر - the righteous[ness]| من - (is he) who| آمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - [the] Last,| والملائكة - and the Angels,| والكتاب - and the Book,| والنبيين - and the Prophets,| وآتى - and gives| المال - the wealth| على - in| حبه - spite of his love (for it)| ذوي - (to) those| القربى - (of) the near relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans,| والمساكين - and the needy,| وابن - and (of)| السبيل - the wayfarer,| والسائلين - and those who ask,| وفي - and in| الرقاب - freeing the necks (slaves)| وأقام - and (who) establish| الصلاة - the prayer,| وآتى - and give| الزكاة - the zakah,| والموفون - and those who fulfill| بعهدهم - their covenant| إذا - when| عاهدوا - they make it;| والصابرين - and those who are patient| في - in| البأساء - [the] suffering| والضراء - and [the] hardship,| وحين - and (the) time| البأس - (of) [the] stress.| أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who| صدقوا - are true| وأولئك - and those,| هم - [they]| المتقون - (are) the righteous.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:180] | Kutiba AAalaykum itha hadaraahadakumu almawtu in taraka khayran alwasiyyatulilwalidayni waal-aqrabeena bialmaAAroofi haqqanAAala almuttaqeena | كتب عليكم إذا حضر أحدكم الموت إن ترك خيرا الوصية للوالدين والأقربين بالمعروف حقا على المتقين كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيْرًا الْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأقْرَبِينَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ حَقًّا عَلَى الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||

| 5 [2:186] | Wa-itha saalaka AAibadeeAAannee fa-innee qareebun ojeebu daAAwata alddaAAiitha daAAani falyastajeeboo lee walyu/minoo beelaAAallahum yarshudoona | وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان فليستجيبوا لي وليؤمنوا بي لعلهم يرشدون وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُواْ بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| سألك - ask you| عبادي - My servants| عني - about Me,| فإني - then indeed I am| قريب - near.| أجيب - I respond| دعوة - (to the) invocation| الداع - (of) the supplicant| إذا - when| دعان - he calls Me.| فليستجيبوا - So let them respond| لي - to Me| وليؤمنوا - and let them believe| بي - in Me,| لعلهم - so that they may| يرشدون - (be) led aright.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:196] | Waatimmoo alhajja waalAAumratalillahi fa-in ohsirtum fama istaysara minaalhadyi wala tahliqoo ruoosakum hattayablugha alhadyu mahillahu faman kana minkum mareedanaw bihi athan min ra/sihi fafidyatun min siyaminaw sadaqatin aw nusukin fa-itha amintum famantamattaAAa bialAAumrati ila alhajji famaistaysara mina alhadyi faman lam yajid fasiyamuthalathati ayyamin fee alhajji wasabAAatin itharajaAAtum tilka AAasharatun kamilatun thalika limanlam yakun ahluhu hadiree almasjidi alharamiwaittaqoo Allaha waiAAlamoo anna Allahashadeedu alAAiqabi | وأتموا الحج والعمرة لله فإن أحصرتم فما استيسر من الهدي ولا تحلقوا رءوسكم حتى يبلغ الهدي محله فمن كان منكم مريضا أو به أذى من رأسه ففدية من صيام أو صدقة أو نسك فإذا أمنتم فمن تمتع بالعمرة إلى الحج فما استيسر من الهدي فمن لم يجد فصيام ثلاثة أيام في الحج وسبعة إذا رجعتم تلك عشرة كاملة ذلك لمن لم يكن أهله حاضري المسجد الحرام واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله شديد العقاب وَأَتِمُّواْ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ لِلّهِ فَإِنْ أُحْصِرْتُمْ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ وَلاَ تَحْلِقُواْ رُؤُوسَكُمْ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْهَدْيُ مَحِلَّهُ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضاً أَوْ بِهِ أَذًى مِّن رَّأْسِهِ فَفِدْيَةٌ مِّن صِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍ فَإِذَا أَمِنتُمْ فَمَن تَمَتَّعَ بِالْعُمْرَةِ إِلَى الْحَجِّ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فِي الْحَجِّ وَسَبْعَةٍ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ تِلْكَ عَشَرَةٌ كَامِلَةٌ ذَلِكَ لِمَن لَّمْ يَكُنْ أَهْلُهُ حَاضِرِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |وأتموا - And complete| الحج - the Hajj| والعمرة - and the Umrah| لله - for Allah.| فإن - And if| أحصرتم - you are held back| فما - then (offer) whatever| استيسر - (can be) obtained with ease| من - of| الهدي - the sacrificial animal.| ولا - And (do) not| تحلقوا - shave| رءوسكم - your heads| حتى - until| يبلغ - reaches| الهدي - the sacrificial animal| محله - (to) its destination.| فمن - Then whoever| كان - is| منكم - among you| مريضا - ill| أو - or| به - he (has)| أذى - an ailment| من - of| رأسه - his head| ففدية - then a ransom| من - of| صيام - fasting| أو - or| صدقة - charity| أو - or| نسك - sacrifice.| فإذا - Then when| أمنتم - you are secure| فمن - then whoever| تمتع - took advantage| بالعمرة - of the Umrah| إلى - followed| الحج - (by) the Hajj,| فما - then (offer) whatever| استيسر - (can be) obtained with ease| من - of| الهدي - the sacrificial animal.| فمن - But whoever| لم - (can) not| يجد - find -| فصيام - then a fast| ثلاثة - (of) three| أيام - days| في - during| الحج - the Hajj| وسبعة - and seven (days)| إذا - when| رجعتم - you return.| تلك - This| عشرة - (is) ten (days)| كاملة - in all.| ذلك - That| لمن - (is) for (the one) whose,| لم - not| يكن - is| أهله - his family| حاضري - present| المسجد - (near) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) retribution.| | ||||||
| 7 [2:232] | Wa-itha tallaqtumu alnnisaafabalaghna ajalahunna fala taAAduloohunna an yankihnaazwajahunna itha taradaw baynahum bialmaAAroofithalika yooAAathu bihi man kanaminkum yu/minu biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhirithalikum azka lakum waatharu waAllahuyaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona | وإذا طلقتم النساء فبلغن أجلهن فلا تعضلوهن أن ينكحن أزواجهن إذا تراضوا بينهم بالمعروف ذلك يوعظ به من كان منكم يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ذلكم أزكى لكم وأطهر والله يعلم وأنتم لا تعلمون وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلاَ تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ أَن يَنكِحْنَ أَزْوَاجَهُنَّ إِذَا تَرَاضَوْاْ بَيْنَهُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ذَلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِهِ مَن كَانَ مِنكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ذَلِكُمْ أَزْكَى لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| طلقتم - you divorce| النساء - [the] women| فبلغن - and they reached| أجلهن - their (waiting) term,| فلا - then (do) not| تعضلوهن - hinder them| أن - [that]| ينكحن - (from) marrying| أزواجهن - their husbands| إذا - when| تراضوا - they agree| بينهم - between themselves| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| ذلك - That| يوعظ - is admonished| به - with it| من - whoever| كان - [is]| منكم - among you| يؤمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - [the] Last;| ذلكم - that| أزكى - (is) more virtuous| لكم - for you| وأطهر - and more purer.| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows| وأنتم - and you| لا - (do) not| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 8 [2:233] | Waalwalidatu yurdiAAnaawladahunna hawlayni kamilayni liman aradaan yutimma alrradaAAata waAAala almawloodilahu rizquhunna wakiswatuhunna bialmaAAroofi latukallafu nafsun illa wusAAaha la tudarrawalidatun biwaladiha wala mawloodun lahubiwaladihi waAAala alwarithi mithlu thalikafa-in arada fisalan AAan taradinminhuma watashawurin fala junahaAAalayhima wa-in aradtum an tastardiAAoo awladakumfala junaha AAalaykum itha sallamtum maataytum bialmaAAroofi waittaqoo AllahawaiAAlamoo anna Allaha bima taAAmaloona baseerun | والوالدات يرضعن أولادهن حولين كاملين لمن أراد أن يتم الرضاعة وعلى المولود له رزقهن وكسوتهن بالمعروف لا تكلف نفس إلا وسعها لا تضار والدة بولدها ولا مولود له بولده وعلى الوارث مثل ذلك فإن أرادا فصالا عن تراض منهما وتشاور فلا جناح عليهما وإن أردتم أن تسترضعوا أولادكم فلا جناح عليكم إذا سلمتم ما آتيتم بالمعروف واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله بما تعملون بصير وَالْوَالِدَاتُ يُرْضِعْنَ أَوْلاَدَهُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَةَ وَعَلََى الْمَوْلُودِ لَهُ رِزْقُهُنَّ وَكِسْوَتُهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ لاَ تُكَلَّفُ نَفْسٌ إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا لاَ تُضَآرَّ وَالِدَةٌ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلاَ مَوْلُودٌ لَّهُ بِوَلَدِهِ وَعَلَى الْوَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ فَإِنْ أَرَادَا فِصَالاً عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنْهُمَا وَتَشَاوُرٍ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن تَسْتَرْضِعُواْ أَوْلاَدَكُمْ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْتُم مَّآ آتَيْتُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |والوالدات - And the mothers| يرضعن - shall suckle| أولادهن - their children| حولين - (for) two years| كاملين - complete,| لمن - for whoever| أراد - wishes| أن - to| يتم - complete| الرضاعة - the suckling.| وعلى - And upon| المولود - the father| له - (on) him| رزقهن - (is) their provision| وكسوتهن - and their clothing| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| لا - Not| تكلف - is burdened| نفس - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - its capacity.| لا - Not| تضار - made to suffer| والدة - (the) mother| بولدها - because of her child| ولا - and not| مولود - (the) father| له - (be)| بولده - because of his child.| وعلى - And on| الوارث - the (father's) heir| مثل - (is a duty) like| ذلك - that (of the father).| فإن - Then if| أرادا - they both desire| فصالا - weaning| عن - through| تراض - mutual consent| منهما - of both of them| وتشاور - and consultation,| فلا - then no| جناح - blame| عليهما - on both of them.| وإن - And if| أردتم - you want| أن - to| تسترضعوا - ask another women to suckle| أولادكم - your child| فلا - then (there is) no| جناح - blame| عليكم - on you,| إذا - when| سلمتم - you pay| ما - what| آتيتم - you give| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 9 [2:282] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha tadayantum bidaynin ila ajalin musammanfaoktuboohu walyaktub baynakum katibun bialAAadliwala ya/ba katibun an yaktuba kamaAAallamahu Allahu falyaktub walyumlili allatheeAAalayhi alhaqqu walyattaqi Allaha rabbahu walayabkhas minhu shay-an fa-in kana allathee AAalayhialhaqqu safeehan aw daAAeefan aw la yastateeAAuan yumilla huwa falyumlil waliyyuhu bialAAadli waistashhidooshaheedayni min rijalikum fa-in lam yakoonarajulayni farajulun waimraatani mimman tardawnamina alshshuhada-i an tadilla ihdahumafatuthakkira ihdahuma al-okhrawala ya/ba alshshuhadao itha maduAAoo wala tas-amoo an taktuboohu sagheeran awkabeeran ila ajalihi thalikum aqsatu AAindaAllahi waaqwamu lilshshahadati waadnaalla tartaboo illa an takoona tijaratanhadiratan tudeeroonaha baynakum falaysa AAalaykumjunahun alla taktubooha waashhidoo ithatabayaAAtum wala yudarra katibun walashaheedun wa-in tafAAaloo fa-innahu fusooqun bikum waittaqooAllaha wayuAAallimukumu Allahu waAllahubikulli shay-in AAaleemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا تداينتم بدين إلى أجل مسمى فاكتبوه وليكتب بينكم كاتب بالعدل ولا يأب كاتب أن يكتب كما علمه الله فليكتب وليملل الذي عليه الحق وليتق الله ربه ولا يبخس منه شيئا فإن كان الذي عليه الحق سفيها أو ضعيفا أو لا يستطيع أن يمل هو فليملل وليه بالعدل واستشهدوا شهيدين من رجالكم فإن لم يكونا رجلين فرجل وامرأتان ممن ترضون من الشهداء أن تضل إحداهما فتذكر إحداهما الأخرى ولا يأب الشهداء إذا ما دعوا ولا تسأموا أن تكتبوه صغيرا أو كبيرا إلى أجله ذلكم أقسط عند الله وأقوم للشهادة وأدنى ألا ترتابوا إلا أن تكون تجارة حاضرة تديرونها بينكم فليس عليكم جناح ألا تكتبوها وأشهدوا إذا تبايعتم ولا يضار كاتب ولا شهيد وإن تفعلوا فإنه فسوق بكم واتقوا الله ويعلمكم الله والله بكل شيء عليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِذَا تَدَايَنتُم بِدَيْنٍ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَاكْتُبُوهُ وَلْيَكْتُب بَّيْنَكُمْ كَاتِبٌ بِالْعَدْلِ وَلاَ يَأْبَ كَاتِبٌ أَنْ يَكْتُبَ كَمَا عَلَّمَهُ اللّهُ فَلْيَكْتُبْ وَلْيُمْلِلِ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ الْحَقُّ وَلْيَتَّقِ اللّهَ رَبَّهُ وَلاَ يَبْخَسْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَإِن كَانَ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ الْحَقُّ سَفِيهًا أَوْ ضَعِيفًا أَوْ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُ أَن يُمِلَّ هُوَ فَلْيُمْلِلْ وَلِيُّهُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَاسْتَشْهِدُواْ شَهِيدَيْنِ من رِّجَالِكُمْ فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُونَا رَجُلَيْنِ فَرَجُلٌ وَامْرَأَتَانِ مِمَّن تَرْضَوْنَ مِنَ الشُّهَدَاءِ أَن تَضِلَّ إحْدَاهُمَا فَتُذَكِّرَ إِحْدَاهُمَا الأُخْرَى وَلاَ يَأْبَ الشُّهَدَاءُ إِذَا مَا دُعُواْ وَلاَ تَسْأَمُوْاْ أَن تَكْتُبُوْهُ صَغِيرًا أَو كَبِيرًا إِلَى أَجَلِهِ ذَلِكُمْ أَقْسَطُ عِندَ اللّهِ وَأَقْومُ لِلشَّهَادَةِ وَأَدْنَى أَلاَّ تَرْتَابُواْ إِلاَّ أَن تَكُونَ تِجَارَةً حَاضِرَةً تُدِيرُونَهَا بَيْنَكُمْ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَلاَّ تَكْتُبُوهَا وَأَشْهِدُوْاْ إِذَا تَبَايَعْتُمْ وَلاَ يُضَآرَّ كَاتِبٌ وَلاَ شَهِيدٌ وَإِن تَفْعَلُواْ فَإِنَّهُ فُسُوقٌ بِكُمْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ اللّهُ وَاللّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| إذا - When| تداينتم - you contract with one another| بدين - any debt| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - fixed| فاكتبوه - then write it.| وليكتب - And let write| بينكم - between you| كاتب - a scribe| بالعدل - in justice.| ولا - And not| يأب - (should) refuse| كاتب - a scribe| أن - that| يكتب - he writes| كما - as| علمه - (has) taught him| الله - Allah.| فليكتب - So let him write| وليملل - and let dictate| الذي - the one| عليه - on whom| الحق - (is) the right| وليتق - and let him fear| الله - Allah,| ربه - his Lord,| ولا - and (let him) not| يبخس - diminish| منه - from it| شيئا - anything.| فإن - Then if| كان - is| الذي - the one| عليه - on him| الحق - (is) the right,| سفيها - (of) limited understanding,| أو - or| ضعيفا - weak,| أو - or| لا - not| يستطيع - capable| أن - that| يمل - (can) dictate| هو - he,| فليملل - then let dictate| وليه - his guardian| بالعدل - with justice.| واستشهدوا - And call for evidence| شهيدين - two witnesses| من - among| رجالكم - your men.| فإن - And if| لم - not| يكونا - there are| رجلين - two men| فرجل - then one man| وامرأتان - and two women| ممن - of whom| ترضون - you agree| من - of| الشهداء - [the] witnesses,| أن - (so) that (if)| تضل - [she] errs,| إحداهما - one of the two,| فتذكر - then will remind| إحداهما - one of the two| الأخرى - the other.| ولا - And not| يأب - (should) refuse| الشهداء - the witnesses| إذا - when| ما - that| دعوا - they are called.| ولا - And not| تسأموا - (be) weary| أن - that| تكتبوه - you write it -| صغيرا - small| أو - or| كبيرا - large| إلى - for| أجله - its term.| ذلكم - That| أقسط - (is) more just| عند - near| الله - Allah,| وأقوم - and more upright| للشهادة - for evidence| وأدنى - and nearer| ألا - that not| ترتابوا - you (have) doubt,| إلا - except| أن - that| تكون - be| تجارة - a transaction| حاضرة - present,| تديرونها - you carry out| بينكم - among you,| فليس - then not| عليكم - on you| جناح - any sin| ألا - that not| تكتبوها - you write it.| وأشهدوا - And take witness| إذا - when| تبايعتم - you make commercial transaction.| ولا - And not| يضار - (should) be harmed| كاتب - (the) scribe| ولا - and not| شهيد - (the) witness,| وإن - and if| تفعلوا - you do,| فإنه - then indeed it| فسوق - (is) sinful conduct| بكم - for you,| واتقوا - and fear| الله - Allah.| ويعلمكم - And teaches| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| بكل - of every| شيء - thing| عليم - (is) All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 10 [3:25] | Fakayfa itha jamaAAnahumliyawmin la rayba feehi wawuffiyat kullu nafsin makasabat wahum la yuthlamoona | فكيف إذا جمعناهم ليوم لا ريب فيه ووفيت كل نفس ما كسبت وهم لا يظلمون فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لاَّ رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فكيف - Then how (will it be)| إذا - when| جمعناهم - We will gather them| ليوم - on a Day -| لا - no| ريب - doubt| فيه - in it.| ووفيت - And will be paid in full| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - what| كسبت - it earned| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 11 [3:47] | Qalat rabbi anna yakoonu leewaladun walam yamsasnee basharun qala kathaliki Allahuyakhluqu ma yashao itha qada amranfa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu | قالت رب أنى يكون لي ولد ولم يمسسني بشر قال كذلك الله يخلق ما يشاء إذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ قَالَ كَذَلِكِ اللّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| رب - "My Lord| أنى - how| يكون - is [it]| لي - for me| ولد - a boy,| ولم - and (has) not| يمسسني - touch(ed) me| بشر - any man?"| قال - He said,| كذلك - "Thus| الله - Allah| يخلق - creates| ما - what| يشاء - He wills.| إذا - When| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter| فإنما - then only| يقول - He says| له - to it,| كن - "Be,"| فيكون - and it becomes.| | ||||||
| 12 [3:135] | Waallatheena ithafaAAaloo fahishatan aw thalamoo anfusahum thakarooAllaha faistaghfaroo lithunoobihim wamanyaghfiru alththunooba illa Allahuwalam yusirroo AAala ma faAAaloo wahumyaAAlamoona | والذين إذا فعلوا فاحشة أو ظلموا أنفسهم ذكروا الله فاستغفروا لذنوبهم ومن يغفر الذنوب إلا الله ولم يصروا على ما فعلوا وهم يعلمون وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا فَعَلُواْ فَاحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُواْ أَنْفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُواْ اللّهَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُواْ لِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَن يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ اللّهُ وَلَمْ يُصِرُّواْ عَلَى مَا فَعَلُواْ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||

| 13 [3:152] | Walaqad sadaqakumu AllahuwaAAdahu ith tahussoonahum bi-ithnihi hattaitha fashiltum watanazaAAtum fee al-amri waAAasaytummin baAAdi ma arakum ma tuhibboonaminkum man yureedu alddunya waminkum man yureedual-akhirata thumma sarafakum AAanhum liyabtaliyakumwalaqad AAafa AAankum waAllahu thoofadlin AAala almu/mineena | ولقد صدقكم الله وعده إذ تحسونهم بإذنه حتى إذا فشلتم وتنازعتم في الأمر وعصيتم من بعد ما أراكم ما تحبون منكم من يريد الدنيا ومنكم من يريد الآخرة ثم صرفكم عنهم ليبتليكم ولقد عفا عنكم والله ذو فضل على المؤمنين وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللّهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا أَرَاكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ وَاللّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| صدقكم - fulfilled to you| الله - Allah| وعده - His promise,| إذ - when| تحسونهم - you were killing them| بإذنه - by His permission,| حتى - until| إذا - when| فشلتم - you lost courage| وتنازعتم - and you fell into dispute| في - concerning| الأمر - the order| وعصيتم - and you disobeyed| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| أراكم - He (had) shown you| ما - what| تحبون - you love.| منكم - Among you| من - (are some) who| يريد - desire| الدنيا - the world| ومنكم - and among you| من - (are some) who| يريد - desire| الآخرة - the Hereafter.| ثم - Then| صرفكم - He diverted you| عنهم - from them| ليبتليكم - so that He may test you.| ولقد - And surely| عفا - He forgave| عنكم - you.| والله - And Allah| ذو - (is the) Possessor| فضل - (of) Bounty| على - for| المؤمنين - the believers.| | ||||||
| 14 [3:156] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola takoonoo kaallatheena kafaroo waqalooli-ikhwanihim itha daraboo fee al-ardiaw kanoo ghuzzan law kanoo AAindana mamatoo wama qutiloo liyajAAala Allahu thalikahasratan fee quloobihim waAllahu yuhyeewayumeetu waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تكونوا كالذين كفروا وقالوا لإخوانهم إذا ضربوا في الأرض أو كانوا غزى لو كانوا عندنا ما ماتوا وما قتلوا ليجعل الله ذلك حسرة في قلوبهم والله يحيي ويميت والله بما تعملون بصير يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَقَالُواْ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُواْ غُزًّى لَّوْ كَانُواْ عِندَنَا مَا مَاتُواْ وَمَا قُتِلُواْ لِيَجْعَلَ اللّهُ ذَلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاللّهُ يُحْيِـي وَيُمِيتُ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||

| 15 [4:6] | Waibtaloo alyatama hattaitha balaghoo alnnikaha fa-in anastumminhum rushdan faidfaAAoo ilayhim amwalahum walata/kulooha israfan wabidaran an yakbaroowaman kana ghaniyyan falyastaAAfif waman kanafaqeeran falya/kul bialmaAAroofi fa-itha dafaAAtumilayhim amwalahum faashhidoo AAalayhim wakafa biAllahihaseeban | وابتلوا اليتامى حتى إذا بلغوا النكاح فإن آنستم منهم رشدا فادفعوا إليهم أموالهم ولا تأكلوها إسرافا وبدارا أن يكبروا ومن كان غنيا فليستعفف ومن كان فقيرا فليأكل بالمعروف فإذا دفعتم إليهم أموالهم فأشهدوا عليهم وكفى بالله حسيبا وَابْتَلُواْ الْيَتَامَى حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُواْ النِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ آنَسْتُم مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَادْفَعُواْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوهَا إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُواْ وَمَن كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ حَسِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |وابتلوا - And test| اليتامى - the orphans| حتى - until| إذا - [when]| بلغوا - they reach[ed]| النكاح - (the age of) marriage,| فإن - then if| آنستم - you perceive| منهم - in them| رشدا - sound judgement| فادفعوا - then deliver| إليهم - to them| أموالهم - their wealth.| ولا - And (do) not| تأكلوها - eat it| إسرافا - extravagantly| وبدارا - and hastily| أن - (fearing) that| يكبروا - they will grow up.| ومن - And whoever| كان - is| غنيا - rich| فليستعفف - then he should refrain,| ومن - and whoever| كان - is| فقيرا - poor| فليأكل - then let him eat (of it)| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| فإذا - Then when| دفعتم - you deliver| إليهم - to them| أموالهم - their wealth| فأشهدوا - then take witnesses| عليهم - on them.| وكفى - And is sufficient| بالله - Allah| حسيبا - (as) a Reckoner.| | ||||||
| 16 [4:18] | Walaysati alttawbatu lillatheenayaAAmaloona alssayyi-ati hatta ithahadara ahadahumu almawtu qala inneetubtu al-ana wala allatheena yamootoonawahum kuffarun ola-ika aAAtadna lahum AAathabanaleeman | وليست التوبة للذين يعملون السيئات حتى إذا حضر أحدهم الموت قال إني تبت الآن ولا الذين يموتون وهم كفار أولئك أعتدنا لهم عذابا أليما وَلَيْسَتِ التَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ حَتَّى إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّي تُبْتُ الْآنَ وَلاَ الَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُوْلَـئِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |وليست - And not| التوبة - (is) the acceptance of repentance| للذين - for those who| يعملون - do| السيئات - the evil deeds| حتى - until| إذا - when| حضر - approaches| أحدهم - one of them| الموت - [the] death,| قال - he says,| إني - "Indeed I| تبت - repent| الآن - now;"| ولا - and not| الذين - those who| يموتون - die| وهم - while they| كفار - (are) disbelievers.| أولئك - Those -| أعتدنا - We have prepared| لهم - for them| عذابا - a punishment| أليما - painful.| | ||||||
| 17 [4:41] | Fakayfa itha ji/na min kulliommatin bishaheedin waji/na bika AAala haola-ishaheedan | فكيف إذا جئنا من كل أمة بشهيد وجئنا بك على هؤلاء شهيدا فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِن كُلِّ أمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ عَلَى هَـؤُلاَءِ شَهِيدًا | |||||

| 18 [4:62] | Fakayfa itha asabat-hum museebatunbima qaddamat aydeehim thumma jaooka yahlifoonabiAllahi in aradna illa ihsananwatawfeeqan | فكيف إذا أصابتهم مصيبة بما قدمت أيديهم ثم جاءوك يحلفون بالله إن أردنا إلا إحسانا وتوفيقا فَكَيْفَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ جَآؤُوكَ يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَا إِلاَّ إِحْسَانًا وَتَوْفِيقًا | |||||

| 19 [4:77] | Alam tara ila allatheena qeelalahum kuffoo aydiyakum waaqeemoo alssalatawaatoo alzzakata falamma kutibaAAalayhimu alqitalu itha fareequn minhum yakhshawnaalnnasa kakhashyati Allahi aw ashaddakhashyatan waqaloo rabbana lima katabta AAalaynaalqitala lawla akhkhartana ila ajalinqareebin qul mataAAu alddunya qaleelun waal-akhiratukhayrun limani ittaqa wala tuthlamoonafateelan | ألم تر إلى الذين قيل لهم كفوا أيديكم وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة فلما كتب عليهم القتال إذا فريق منهم يخشون الناس كخشية الله أو أشد خشية وقالوا ربنا لم كتبت علينا القتال لولا أخرتنا إلى أجل قريب قل متاع الدنيا قليل والآخرة خير لمن اتقى ولا تظلمون فتيلا أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ قِيلَ لَهُمْ كُفُّواْ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ النَّاسَ كَخَشْيَةِ اللّهِ أَوْ أَشَدَّ خَشْيَةً وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لِمَ كَتَبْتَ عَلَيْنَا الْقِتَالَ لَوْلاَ أَخَّرْتَنَا إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ قُلْ مَتَاعُ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيلٌ وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنِ اتَّقَى وَلاَ تُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلاً | |||||

| 20 [4:94] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha darabtum fee sabeeli Allahifatabayyanoo wala taqooloo liman alqa ilaykumu alssalamalasta mu/minan tabtaghoona AAarada alhayatialddunya faAAinda Allahi maghanimukatheeratun kathalika kuntum min qablu famanna AllahuAAalaykum fatabayyanoo inna Allaha kana bimataAAmaloona khabeeran | يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا ضربتم في سبيل الله فتبينوا ولا تقولوا لمن ألقى إليكم السلام لست مؤمنا تبتغون عرض الحياة الدنيا فعند الله مغانم كثيرة كذلك كنتم من قبل فمن الله عليكم فتبينوا إن الله كان بما تعملون خبيرا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَتَبَيَّنُواْ وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ لِمَنْ أَلْقَى إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلاَمَ لَسْتَ مُؤْمِنًا تَبْتَغُونَ عَرَضَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فَعِندَ اللّهِ مَغَانِمُ كَثِيرَةٌ كَذَلِكَ كُنتُم مِّن قَبْلُ فَمَنَّ اللّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا | |||||
