| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:186] | Wa-itha saalaka AAibadeeAAannee fa-innee qareebun ojeebu daAAwata alddaAAiitha daAAani falyastajeeboo lee walyu/minoo beelaAAallahum yarshudoona
|  وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان فليستجيبوا لي وليؤمنوا بي لعلهم يرشدون
وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُواْ بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ |
| Words | |وإذا - And when| سألك - ask you| عبادي - My servants| عني - about Me,| فإني - then indeed I am| قريب - near.| أجيب - I respond| دعوة - (to the) invocation| الداع - (of) the supplicant| إذا - when| دعان - he calls Me.| فليستجيبوا - So let them respond| لي - to Me| وليؤمنوا - and let them believe| بي - in Me,| لعلهم - so that they may| يرشدون - (be) led aright.| |

| ባሮቼም ከእኔ በጠየቁህ ጊዜ (እንዲህ በላቸው)፡- እኔ ቅርብ ነኝ፡፡ የለማኝን ጸሎት በለመነኝ ጊዜ እቀበለዋለሁ፡፡ ስለዚህ ለኔ ይታዘዙ፤ በኔም ይመኑ፤ እነሱ ሊመሩ ይከጀላልና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | وسأل جماعة النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم أقريب ربُّنا فنناجيه أم بعيد فنناديه: فنزل { وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب } منهم بعلمي فأخبرهم بذلك { أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان } بإنالته ما سأل { فليستجيبوا لي } دعائي بالطاعة { وليؤمنوا } يداوموا على الإيمان { بي لعلهم يرشدون } يهتدون . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আমার বান্দারা যখন তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে আমার ব্যাপারে বস্তুতঃ আমি রয়েছি সন্নিকটে। যারা প্রার্থনা করে, তাদের প্রার্থনা কবুল করে নেই, যখন আমার কাছে প্রার্থনা করে। কাজেই আমার হুকুম মান্য করা এবং আমার প্রতি নিঃসংশয়ে বিশ্বাস করা তাদের একান্ত কর্তব্য। যাতে তারা সৎপথে আসতে পারে। |
| Literal | And if My worshippers/slaves asked/questioned you about Me, so I am near/close, I answer/reply the caller's/requester's call/request/prayer if (he) called/requested/prayed (to) Me , so they should answer/reply to Me and they should believe in Me (E), maybe they be correctly guided . |
