| 2 [7:69] | Awa AAajibtum an jaakum thikrunmin rabbikum AAala rajulin minkum liyunthirakum waothkurooith jaAAalakum khulafaa min baAAdi qawmi noohinwazadakum fee alkhalqi bastatan faothkurooalaa Allahi laAAallakum tuflihoona | أوعجبتم أن جاءكم ذكر من ربكم على رجل منكم لينذركم واذكروا إذ جعلكم خلفاء من بعد قوم نوح وزادكم في الخلق بسطة فاذكروا آلاء الله لعلكم تفلحون أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَن جَاءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنكُمْ لِيُنذِرَكُمْ وَاذكُرُواْ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِن بَعْدِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَزَادَكُمْ فِي الْخَلْقِ بَسْطَةً فَاذْكُرُواْ آلاَءَ اللّهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ | |||||

| 3 [9:70] | Alam ya/tihim nabao allatheena minqablihim qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waqawmiibraheema waas-habi madyana waalmu/tafikatiatat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinati fama kanaAllahu liyathlimahum walakin kanooanfusahum yathlimoona | ألم يأتهم نبأ الذين من قبلهم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود وقوم إبراهيم وأصحاب مدين والمؤتفكات أتتهم رسلهم بالبينات فما كان الله ليظلمهم ولكن كانوا أنفسهم يظلمون أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوْمِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَأَصْحَابِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتِ أَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَـكِن كَانُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Has not| يأتهم - come to them| نبأ - (the) news| الذين - (of) those who| من - (were) before them,| قبلهم - (were) before them,| قوم - (the) people| نوح - (of) Nuh,| وعاد - and Aad,| وثمود - and Thamud,| وقوم - and (the) people| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim| وأصحاب - and (the) companions| مدين - (of) Madyan,| والمؤتفكات - and the towns overturned?| أتتهم - Came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs.| فما - And not| كان - was| الله - Allah| ليظلمهم - to wrong them| ولكن - but| كانوا - they were (to)| أنفسهم - themselves| يظلمون - doing wrong.| | ||||||
| 4 [10:71] | Waotlu AAalayhim nabaa noohinith qala liqawmihi ya qawmi in kanakabura AAalaykum maqamee watathkeeree bi-ayatiAllahi faAAala Allahi tawakkaltu faajmiAAooamrakum washurakaakum thumma la yakun amrukumAAalaykum ghummatan thumma iqdoo ilayya wala tunthirooni | واتل عليهم نبأ نوح إذ قال لقومه يا قوم إن كان كبر عليكم مقامي وتذكيري بآيات الله فعلى الله توكلت فأجمعوا أمركم وشركاءكم ثم لا يكن أمركم عليكم غمة ثم اقضوا إلي ولا تنظرون وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم مَّقَامِي وَتَذْكِيرِي بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ فَعَلَى اللّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْمِعُواْ أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَاءَكُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ اقْضُواْ إِلَيَّ وَلاَ تُنظِرُونِ | |||||
| Words | |واتل - And recite| عليهم - to them| نبأ - the news| نوح - (of) Nuh| إذ - when| قال - he said| لقومه - to his people,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| إن - If| كان - is| كبر - hard| عليكم - on you| مقامي - my stay| وتذكيري - and my reminding| بآيات - the Signs of Allah,| الله - the Signs of Allah,| فعلى - then on| الله - Allah| توكلت - I put my trust.| فأجمعوا - So you all resolve| أمركم - your plan| وشركاءكم - and your partners.| ثم - Then| لا - let not be| يكن - let not be| أمركم - (in) your plan| عليكم - for you| غمة - any doubt.| ثم - Then| اقضوا - carry (it out)| إلي - upon me| ولا - and (do) not| تنظرون - give me respite.| | ||||||
| 5 [11:32] | Qaloo ya noohu qad jadaltanafaaktharta jidalana fa/tina bimataAAiduna in kunta mina alssadiqeena | قالوا يا نوح قد جادلتنا فأكثرت جدالنا فأتنا بما تعدنا إن كنت من الصادقين قَالُواْ يَا نُوحُ قَدْ جَادَلْتَنَا فَأَكْثَرْتَ جِدَالَنَا فَأْتَنِا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| نوح - "O Nuh!| قد - Indeed,| جادلتنا - you disputed with us| فأكثرت - and you (have been) frequent| جدالنا - (in) dispute with us.| فأتنا - So bring us| بما - what| تعدنا - you threaten us (with),| إن - if| كنت - you are| من - of| الصادقين - the truthful."| | ||||||
| 6 [11:36] | Waoohiya ila noohinannahu lan yu/mina min qawmika illa man qad amanafala tabta-is bima kanoo yafAAaloona | وأوحي إلى نوح أنه لن يؤمن من قومك إلا من قد آمن فلا تبتئس بما كانوا يفعلون وَأُوحِيَ إِلَى نُوحٍ أَنَّهُ لَن يُؤْمِنَ مِن قَوْمِكَ إِلاَّ مَن قَدْ آمَنَ فَلاَ تَبْتَئِسْ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||

| 7 [11:42] | Wahiya tajree bihim fee mawjin kaaljibaliwanada noohunu ibnahu wakana feemaAAzilin ya bunayya irkab maAAana walatakun maAAa alkafireena | وهي تجري بهم في موج كالجبال ونادى نوح ابنه وكان في معزل يا بني اركب معنا ولا تكن مع الكافرين وَهِيَ تَجْرِي بِهِمْ فِي مَوْجٍ كَالْجِبَالِ وَنَادَى نُوحٌ ابْنَهُ وَكَانَ فِي مَعْزِلٍ يَا بُنَيَّ ارْكَب مَّعَنَا وَلاَ تَكُن مَّعَ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وهي - And it| تجري - sailed| بهم - with them| في - on| موج - the waves| كالجبال - like mountains,| ونادى - and Nuh called out| نوح - and Nuh called out| ابنه - (to) his son,| وكان - and he was| في - [in]| معزل - apart,| يا - O| بني - "O my son!| اركب - Embark| معنا - with us| ولا - and (do) not| تكن - be| مع - with| الكافرين - the disbelievers."| | ||||||
| 8 [11:45] | Wanada noohun rabbahufaqala rabbi inna ibnee min ahlee wa-inna waAAdaka alhaqquwaanta ahkamu alhakimeena | ونادى نوح ربه فقال رب إن ابني من أهلي وإن وعدك الحق وأنت أحكم الحاكمين وَنَادَى نُوحٌ رَّبَّهُ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ ابْنِي مِنْ أَهْلِي وَإِنَّ وَعْدَكَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنتَ أَحْكَمُ الْحَاكِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ونادى - And Nuh called| نوح - And Nuh called| ربه - (to) his Lord| فقال - and said,| رب - "O my Lord!| إن - Indeed,| ابني - my son| من - (is) of| أهلي - my family,| وإن - and indeed,| وعدك - Your promise| الحق - (is) true,| وأنت - and You| أحكم - (are) the Most Just| الحاكمين - (of) the judges."| | ||||||
| 9 [11:46] | Qala ya noohu innahulaysa min ahlika innahu AAamalun ghayru salihin falatas-alni ma laysa laka bihi AAilmun innee aAAithukaan takoona mina aljahileena | قال يا نوح إنه ليس من أهلك إنه عمل غير صالح فلا تسألن ما ليس لك به علم إني أعظك أن تكون من الجاهلين قَالَ يَا نُوحُ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ إِنَّهُ عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَالِحٍ فَلاَ تَسْأَلْنِ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ إِنِّي أَعِظُكَ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| نوح - "O Nuh!| إنه - Indeed, he| ليس - (is) not| من - of| أهلك - your family;| إنه - indeed, [he]| عمل - (his) deed| غير - (is) other than| صالح - righteous,| فلا - so (do) not| تسألن - ask Me| ما - (about) what| ليس - not| لك - you have| به - of it| علم - any knowledge.| إني - Indeed, I| أعظك - admonish you| أن - lest| تكون - you be| من - among| الجاهلين - the ignorant."| | ||||||
| 10 [11:48] | Qeela ya noohu ihbitbisalamin minna wabarakatin AAalayka waAAalaomamin mimman maAAaka waomamun sanumattiAAuhum thumma yamassuhumminna AAathabun aleemun | قيل يا نوح اهبط بسلام منا وبركات عليك وعلى أمم ممن معك وأمم سنمتعهم ثم يمسهم منا عذاب أليم قِيلَ يَا نُوحُ اهْبِطْ بِسَلاَمٍ مِّنَّا وَبَركَاتٍ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أُمَمٍ مِّمَّن مَّعَكَ وَأُمَمٌ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |قيل - It was said,| يا - O| نوح - "O Nuh!| اهبط - Go down| بسلام - with peace| منا - from Us| وبركات - and blessings| عليك - on you| وعلى - and on| أمم - the nations| ممن - from those| معك - with you.| وأمم - But (to other) nations| سنمتعهم - We will grant enjoyment;| ثم - then| يمسهم - will touch them| منا - from Us| عذاب - a punishment| أليم - painful."| | ||||||
| 11 [11:89] | Waya qawmi la yajrimannakumshiqaqee an yuseebakum mithlu ma asabaqawma noohin aw qawma hoodin aw qawma salihinwama qawmu lootin minkum bibaAAeedin | ويا قوم لا يجرمنكم شقاقي أن يصيبكم مثل ما أصاب قوم نوح أو قوم هود أو قوم صالح وما قوم لوط منكم ببعيد وَيَا قَوْمِ لاَ يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شِقَاقِي أَن يُصِيبَكُم مِّثْلُ مَا أَصَابَ قَوْمَ نُوحٍ أَوْ قَوْمَ هُودٍ أَوْ قَوْمَ صَالِحٍ وَمَا قَوْمُ لُوطٍ مِّنكُم بِبَعِيدٍ | |||||
| Words | |ويا - And O| قوم - And O my people!| لا - (Let) not cause you to sin| يجرمنكم - (Let) not cause you to sin| شقاقي - my dissension| أن - lest| يصيبكم - befalls you| مثل - similar| ما - (to) what| أصاب - befell| قوم - (the) people of Nuh| نوح - (the) people of Nuh| أو - or| قوم - (the) people of Hud| هود - (the) people of Hud| أو - or| قوم - people of Salih.| صالح - people of Salih.| وما - And not| قوم - (are the) people of Lut| لوط - (are the) people of Lut| منكم - from you| ببعيد - far off.| | ||||||
| 12 [14:9] | Alam ya/tikum nabao allatheena minqablikum qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waallatheenamin baAAdihim la yaAAlamuhum illa Allahu jaat-humrusuluhum bialbayyinati faraddoo aydiyahum fee afwahihimwaqaloo inna kafarna bima orsiltumbihi wa-inna lafee shakkin mimma tadAAoonanailayhi mureebun | ألم يأتكم نبأ الذين من قبلكم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود والذين من بعدهم لا يعلمهم إلا الله جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فردوا أيديهم في أفواههم وقالوا إنا كفرنا بما أرسلتم به وإنا لفي شك مما تدعوننا إليه مريب أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلاَّ اللّهُ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرَدُّواْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَقَالُواْ إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِ وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَنَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ | |||||

| 13 [17:3] | Thurriyyata man hamalnamaAAa noohin innahu kana AAabdan shakooran | ذرية من حملنا مع نوح إنه كان عبدا شكورا ذُرِّيَّةَ مَنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا | |||||

| 14 [17:17] | Wakam ahlakna mina alqurooni minbaAAdi noohin wakafa birabbika bithunoobiAAibadihi khabeeran baseeran | وكم أهلكنا من القرون من بعد نوح وكفى بربك بذنوب عباده خبيرا بصيرا وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنَ الْقُرُونِ مِن بَعْدِ نُوحٍ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا بَصِيرًا | |||||

| 15 [19:58] | Ola-ika allatheena anAAama AllahuAAalayhim mina alnnabiyyeena min thurriyyati adamawamimman hamalna maAAa noohin wamin thurriyyatiibraheema wa-isra-eela wamimman hadayna waijtabaynaitha tutla AAalayhim ayatu alrrahmanikharroo sujjadan wabukiyyan | أولئك الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين من ذرية آدم وممن حملنا مع نوح ومن ذرية إبراهيم وإسرائيل وممن هدينا واجتبينا إذا تتلى عليهم آيات الرحمن خروا سجدا وبكيا أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ آدَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْرَائِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَاجْتَبَيْنَا إِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُ الرَّحْمَن خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَبُكِيًّا | |||||

| 16 [22:42] | Wa-in yukaththibooka faqad kaththabatqablahum qawmu noohin waAAadun wathamoodu | وإن يكذبوك فقد كذبت قبلهم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَثَمُودُ | |||||

| 17 [25:37] | Waqawma noohin lamma kaththabooalrrusula aghraqnahum wajaAAalnahum lilnnasiayatan waaAAtadna lilththalimeenaAAathaban aleeman | وقوم نوح لما كذبوا الرسل أغرقناهم وجعلناهم للناس آية وأعتدنا للظالمين عذابا أليما وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُوا الرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ آيَةً وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||
