| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[22:42] | Wa-in yukaththibooka faqad kaththabatqablahum qawmu noohin waAAadun wathamoodu
|  وإن يكذبوك فقد كذبت قبلهم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود
وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَثَمُودُ |
| Words | |وإن - And if| يكذبوك - they deny you,| فقد - so verily| كذبت - denied| قبلهم - before them| قوم - (the) people| نوح - (of) Nuh| وعاد - and Aad| وثمود - and Thamud,| |

| ቢያስተባብሉህም ከእነሱ በፊት የኑሕ ሕዝቦች ዓድና ሰሙድም በእርግጥ አስተባብለዋል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإن يكذبوك } إلى آخره فيه تسليه للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم { فقد كذبت قبلهم قوم نوح } تأنيث قوم باعتبار المعنى { وعاد } قوم هود { وثمود } قوم صالح . |

| Literal | And if they deny you , so Noah's nation had denied before them, and Aad's and Thamud's . |
