| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:17] | Wakam ahlakna mina alqurooni minbaAAdi noohin wakafa birabbika bithunoobiAAibadihi khabeeran baseeran
|  وكم أهلكنا من القرون من بعد نوح وكفى بربك بذنوب عباده خبيرا بصيرا
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنَ الْقُرُونِ مِن بَعْدِ نُوحٍ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا بَصِيرًا |
| Words | |وكم - And how many| أهلكنا - We destroyed| من - from| القرون - the generations| من - after| بعد - after| نوح - Nuh!| وكفى - And sufficient| بربك - (is) your Lord| بذنوب - concerning the sins| عباده - (of) His servants| خبيرا - All-Aware,| بصيرا - All-Seer.| |

| ከኑሕም በኋላ ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሰዎች ያጠፋናቸው ብዙዎች ናቸው፡፡ የባሮቹንም ኃጢኣቶች ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ተመልካች መኾን በጌታህ በቃ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وكم } أي كثيرا { أهلكنا من القرون } الأمم { من بعد نوح وكفى بربك بذنوب عباده خبيرا بصيرا } عالما ببواطنها وظواهرها وبه يتعلق بذنوب . |

| Literal | And how many We destroyed/perished from the generations/peoples of eras from after Noah, and enough/sufficient with your Lord with His worshippers'/slaves' crimes, (He is) expert/experienced, seeing/knowing/understanding. |
