| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[11:36] | Waoohiya ila noohinannahu lan yu/mina min qawmika illa man qad amanafala tabta-is bima kanoo yafAAaloona
|  وأوحي إلى نوح أنه لن يؤمن من قومك إلا من قد آمن فلا تبتئس بما كانوا يفعلون
وَأُوحِيَ إِلَى نُوحٍ أَنَّهُ لَن يُؤْمِنَ مِن قَوْمِكَ إِلاَّ مَن قَدْ آمَنَ فَلاَ تَبْتَئِسْ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ |
| Words | |وأوحي - And it was revealed| إلى - to| نوح - Nuh,| أنه - "That| لن - will never| يؤمن - believe| من - from| قومك - your people| إلا - except| من - (those) who| قد - have already| آمن - believed.| فلا - So (do) not| تبتئس - (be) distressed| بما - by what| كانوا - they have been| يفعلون - doing.| |

| ወደ ኑሕም እነሆ «ከሕዝቦችህ በእርግጥ ካመኑት በስተቀር (ወደፊት) አያምኑም፡፡ ይሠሩትም በነበሩት (ክህደት) አትዘን ማለት ተወረደ፡፡» |
| آل الجلالين | ( وأوحي إلى نوح أنه لن يؤمن من قومك إلا من قد آمن فلا تبتئس ) تحزن ( بما كانوا يفعلون ) من الشرك فدعا عليهم بقوله ، "" رب لا تذر على الأرض "" إلخ ، فأجاب الله دعاءه فقال : |
| Ippuweêêa d i Nuê: "ur ippamen yiwen, d awez$i, seg ugdud ik, siwa wid illan umnen. Ihi, ur k icqi wayen xeddmen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর নূহ (আঃ) এর প্রতি ওহী প্রেরণ করা হলো যে, যারা ইতিমধ্যেই ঈমান এনেছে তাদের ছাড়া আপনার জাতির অন্য কেউ ঈমান আনবেনা এতএব তাদের কার্যকলাপে বিমর্ষ হবেন না। |
| Literal | And (it) was inspired/transmitted to Noah, that (none) will never/not believe from your nation except who had believed, so do not be miserable/fallen in hardship because (of) what they were making/doing . |
| Yusuf Ali | It was revealed to Noah: "None of thy people will believe except those who have believed already! So grieve no longer over their (evil) deeds. |
| Pickthal | And it was inspired in Noah, (saying): No-one of thy folk will believe save him who hath believed already. Be not distressed because of what they do. |
| Arberry | And it was revealed to Noah, saying, 'None of thy people shall believe but he who has already believed; so be thou not distressed by that they may be doing. |
