| 1 [3:35] | Ith qalati imraatu AAimranarabbi innee nathartu laka ma fee batnee muharraranfataqabbal minnee innaka anta alssameeAAu alAAaleemu |  إذ قالت امرأت عمران رب إني نذرت لك ما في بطني محررا فتقبل مني إنك أنت السميع العليمإِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَأَةُ عِمْرَانَ رَبِّ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطْنِي مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ | |||||

| 2 [3:36] | Falamma wadaAAat-ha qalatrabbi innee wadaAAtuha ontha waAllahuaAAlamu bima wadaAAat walaysa alththakarukaalontha wa-innee sammaytuha maryamawa-innee oAAeethuha bika wathurriyyatahamina alshshaytani alrrajeemi | فلما وضعتها قالت رب إني وضعتها أنثى والله أعلم بما وضعت وليس الذكر كالأنثى وإني سميتها مريم وإني أعيذها بك وذريتها من الشيطان الرجيم فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنثَى وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْأُنثَى وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وِإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| وضعتها - she delivered her,| قالت - she said,| رب - "My Lord,| إني - indeed I| وضعتها - [I] (have) delivered [her]| أنثى - a female."| والله - And Allah| أعلم - knows better| بما - [of] what| وضعت - she delivered,| وليس - and is not| الذكر - the male| كالأنثى - like the female.| وإني - "And that I| سميتها - [I] (have) named her| مريم - Maryam| وإني - and that I| أعيذها - [I] seek refuge for her| بك - in You| وذريتها - and her offspring| من - from| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| الرجيم - the rejected."| | ||||||
| 3 [3:37] | Fataqabbalaha rabbuhabiqaboolin hasanin waanbataha nabatan hasananwakaffalaha zakariyya kullama dakhalaAAalayha zakariyya almihraba wajadaAAindaha rizqan qala ya maryamu annalaki hatha qalat huwa min AAindi Allahi innaAllaha yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin | فتقبلها ربها بقبول حسن وأنبتها نباتا حسنا وكفلها زكريا كلما دخل عليها زكريا المحراب وجد عندها رزقا قال يا مريم أنى لك هذا قالت هو من عند الله إن الله يرزق من يشاء بغير حساب فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا الْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزْقاً قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّى لَكِ هَـذَا قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ | |||||
| Words | |فتقبلها - So accepted her,| ربها - her Lord| بقبول - with acceptance| حسن - good,| وأنبتها - and reared her -| نباتا - a rearing| حسنا - good,| وكفلها - and put her in (the) care| زكريا - (of) Zakariya.| كلما - Whenever| دخل - entered| عليها - upon her| زكريا - Zakariya| المحراب - [the] prayer chamber| وجد - he found| عندها - with her| رزقا - provision.| قال - He said,| يا - O| مريم - "O Maryam!| أنى - From where| لك - for you| هذا - (is) this?"| قالت - She said,| هو - "This| من - (is)| عند - from| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يرزق - gives provision| من - (to) whom| يشاء - He wills| بغير - without| حساب - measure."| | ||||||
| 4 [3:42] | Wa-ith qalati almala-ikatuya maryamu inna Allaha istafaki watahharakiwaistafaki AAala nisa-i alAAalameena | وإذ قالت الملائكة يا مريم إن الله اصطفاك وطهرك واصطفاك على نساء العالمين وَإِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللّهَ اصْطَفَاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَى نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قالت - said| الملائكة - the Angels,| يا - O| مريم - "O Maryam!| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| اصطفاك - (has) chosen you| وطهرك - and purified you| واصطفاك - and chosen you| على - over| نساء - (the) women| العالمين - (of) the worlds."| | ||||||
| 5 [3:45] | Ith qalati almala-ikatuya maryamu inna Allaha yubashshiruki bikalimatinminhu ismuhu almaseehu AAeesa ibnu maryama wajeehanfee alddunya waal-akhirati waminaalmuqarrabeena | إذ قالت الملائكة يا مريم إن الله يبشرك بكلمة منه اسمه المسيح عيسى ابن مريم وجيها في الدنيا والآخرة ومن المقربين إِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلآئِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنْهُ اسْمُهُ الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| قالت - said| الملائكة - the Angels,| يا - O| مريم - "O Maryam!| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يبشرك - gives you glad tidings| بكلمة - of a word| منه - from Him,| اسمه - his name| المسيح - (is) the Messiah,| عيسى - Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| وجيها - honored| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter,| ومن - and of| المقربين - those brought near (to Allah).| | ||||||
| 6 [3:47] | Qalat rabbi anna yakoonu leewaladun walam yamsasnee basharun qala kathaliki Allahuyakhluqu ma yashao itha qada amranfa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu | قالت رب أنى يكون لي ولد ولم يمسسني بشر قال كذلك الله يخلق ما يشاء إذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ قَالَ كَذَلِكِ اللّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| رب - "My Lord| أنى - how| يكون - is [it]| لي - for me| ولد - a boy,| ولم - and (has) not| يمسسني - touch(ed) me| بشر - any man?"| قال - He said,| كذلك - "Thus| الله - Allah| يخلق - creates| ما - what| يشاء - He wills.| إذا - When| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter| فإنما - then only| يقول - He says| له - to it,| كن - "Be,"| فيكون - and it becomes.| | ||||||
| 7 [7:38] | Qala odkhuloo fee omamin qad khalatmin qablikum mina aljinni waal-insi fee alnnarikullama dakhalat ommatun laAAanat okhtaha hattaitha iddarakoo feeha jameeAAan qalatokhrahum li-oolahum rabbana haola-iadalloona faatihim AAathaban diAAfanmina alnnari qala likullin diAAfunwalakin la taAAlamoona | قال ادخلوا في أمم قد خلت من قبلكم من الجن والإنس في النار كلما دخلت أمة لعنت أختها حتى إذا اداركوا فيها جميعا قالت أخراهم لأولاهم ربنا هؤلاء أضلونا فآتهم عذابا ضعفا من النار قال لكل ضعف ولكن لا تعلمون قَالَ ادْخُلُواْ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ فِي النَّارِ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَتْ أُمَّةٌ لَّعَنَتْ أُخْتَهَا حَتَّى إِذَا ادَّارَكُواْ فِيهَا جَمِيعًا قَالَتْ أُخْرَاهُمْ لِأُولاَهُمْ رَبَّنَا هَـؤُلاَءِ أَضَلُّونَا فَآتِهِمْ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا مِّنَ النَّارِ قَالَ لِكُلٍّ ضِعْفٌ وَلَـكِن لاَّ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He (will) say,| ادخلوا - "Enter| في - among| أمم - (the) nations| قد - (who)| خلت - passed away| من - from| قبلكم - before you| من - of| الجن - the jinn| والإنس - and the men| في - in| النار - the Fire."| كلما - Every time| دخلت - entered| أمة - a nation| لعنت - it cursed| أختها - its sister (nation)| حتى - until| إذا - when| اداركوا - they had overtaken one another| فيها - in it| جميعا - all,| قالت - (will) say| أخراهم - (the) last of them| لأولاهم - about the first of them,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| هؤلاء - these| أضلونا - misled us| فآتهم - so give them| عذابا - punishment,| ضعفا - double,| من - of| النار - the Fire."| قال - He (will) say,| لكل - "For each| ضعف - (is) a double| ولكن - [and] but| لا - not| تعلمون - you know."| | ||||||
| 8 [7:164] | Wa-ith qalat ommatun minhumlima taAAithoona qawman Allahu muhlikuhum awmuAAaththibuhum AAathaban shadeedan qaloomaAAthiratan ila rabbikum walaAAallahum yattaqoona | وإذ قالت أمة منهم لم تعظون قوما الله مهلكهم أو معذبهم عذابا شديدا قالوا معذرة إلى ربكم ولعلهم يتقون وَإِذْ قَالَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِّنْهُمْ لِمَ تَعِظُونَ قَوْمًا اللّهُ مُهْلِكُهُمْ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا قَالُواْ مَعْذِرَةً إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قالت - said| أمة - a community| منهم - among them,| لم - "Why| تعظون - (do) you preach| قوما - a people,| الله - (whom) Allah| مهلكهم - (is going to) destroy them| أو - or| معذبهم - punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| شديدا - severe?"| قالوا - They said,| معذرة - "To be absolved| إلى - before| ربكم - your Lord| ولعلهم - and that they may| يتقون - become righteous."| | ||||||
| 9 [11:72] | Qalat ya waylata aaliduwaana AAajoozun wahatha baAAlee shaykhan inna hathalashay-on AAajeebun | قالت يا ويلتى أألد وأنا عجوز وهذا بعلي شيخا إن هذا لشيء عجيب قَالَتْ يَا وَيْلَتَى أَأَلِدُ وَأَنَاْ عَجُوزٌ وَهَـذَا بَعْلِي شَيْخًا إِنَّ هَـذَا لَشَيْءٌ عَجِيبٌ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| يا - O| ويلتى - "Woe to me!| أألد - Shall I bear a child| وأنا - while I am| عجوز - an old woman| وهذا - and this,| بعلي - my husband,| شيخا - (is) an old man?| إن - Indeed,| هذا - this| لشيء - (is) surely a thing| عجيب - amazing."| | ||||||
| 10 [12:25] | Waistabaqa albabawaqaddat qameesahu min duburin waalfaya sayyidahalada albabi qalat ma jazao manarada bi-ahlika soo-an illa an yusjana aw AAathabunaleemun | واستبقا الباب وقدت قميصه من دبر وألفيا سيدها لدى الباب قالت ما جزاء من أراد بأهلك سوءا إلا أن يسجن أو عذاب أليم وَاسْتَبَقَا الْبَابَ وَقَدَّتْ قَمِيصَهُ مِن دُبُرٍ وَأَلْفَيَا سَيِّدَهَا لَدَى الْبَابِ قَالَتْ مَا جَزَاءُ مَنْ أَرَادَ بِأَهْلِكَ سُوءًا إِلاَّ أَن يُسْجَنَ أَوْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |واستبقا - And they both raced| الباب - (to) the door| وقدت - and she tore| قميصه - his shirt| من - from| دبر - the back,| وألفيا - and they both found| سيدها - her husband| لدى - at| الباب - the door.| قالت - She said,| ما - "What| جزاء - (is) the recompense| من - (of one) who| أراد - intended| بأهلك - for your wife| سوءا - evil| إلا - except| أن - that| يسجن - he be imprisoned| أو - or| عذاب - a punishment| أليم - painful?"| | ||||||
| 11 [12:32] | Qalat fathalikunna allatheelumtunnanee feehi walaqad rawadtuhu AAan nafsihi faistAAsamawala-in lam yafAAal ma amuruhu layusjanannawalayakoonan mina alssaghireena | قالت فذلكن الذي لمتنني فيه ولقد راودته عن نفسه فاستعصم ولئن لم يفعل ما آمره ليسجنن وليكونا من الصاغرين قَالَتْ فَذَلِكُنَّ الَّذِي لُمْتُنَّنِي فِيهِ وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدتُّهُ عَن نَّفْسِهِ فَاسَتَعْصَمَ وَلَئِن لَّمْ يَفْعَلْ مَا آمُرُهُ لَيُسْجَنَنَّ وَلَيَكُونًا مِّنَ الصَّاغِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| فذلكن - "That| الذي - (is) the one,| لمتنني - you blamed me| فيه - about him.| ولقد - And certainly| راودته - I sought to seduce him,| عن - [from]| نفسه - [himself]| فاستعصم - but he saved himself,| ولئن - and if| لم - not| يفعل - he does| ما - what| آمره - I order him,| ليسجنن - surely, he will be imprisoned| وليكونا - and certainly will be| من - of| الصاغرين - those who are disgraced."| | ||||||
| 12 [12:51] | Qala ma khatbukunna ithrawadtunna yoosufa AAan nafsihi qulna hasha lillahima AAalimna AAalayhi min soo-in qalatiimraatu alAAazeezi al-ana hashasa alhaqquana rawadtuhu AAan nafsihi wa-innahu lamina alssadiqeena | قال ما خطبكن إذ راودتن يوسف عن نفسه قلن حاش لله ما علمنا عليه من سوء قالت امرأت العزيز الآن حصحص الحق أنا راودته عن نفسه وإنه لمن الصادقين قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُنَّ إِذْ رَاوَدتُّنَّ يُوسُفَ عَن نَّفْسِهِ قُلْنَ حَاشَ لِلّهِ مَا عَلِمْنَا عَلَيْهِ مِن سُوءٍ قَالَتِ امْرَأَةُ الْعَزِيزِ الْآنَ حَصْحَصَ الْحَقُّ أَنَاْ رَاوَدتُّهُ عَن نَّفْسِهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| ما - "What| خطبكن - (was) your affair| إذ - when| راودتن - you sought to seduce| يوسف - Yusuf| عن - from| نفسه - himself?"| قلن - They said,| حاش - "Allah forbid!| لله - "Allah forbid!| ما - Not| علمنا - we know| عليه - about him| من - any| سوء - evil."| قالت - Said| امرأت - (the) wife| العزيز - (of) Aziz,| الآن - "Now| حصحص - (is) manifest| الحق - the truth.| أنا - I| راودته - sought to seduce him| عن - from| نفسه - himself,| وإنه - and indeed, he| لمن - (is) surely of| الصادقين - the truthful.| | ||||||
| 13 [14:10] | Qalat rusuluhum afee Allahishakkun fatiri alssamawati waal-ardiyadAAookum liyaghfira lakum min thunoobikumwayu-akhkhirakum ila ajalin musamman qaloo in antumilla basharun mithluna tureedoona an tasuddoonaAAamma kana yaAAbudu abaonafa/toona bisultanin mubeenin | قالت رسلهم أفي الله شك فاطر السماوات والأرض يدعوكم ليغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويؤخركم إلى أجل مسمى قالوا إن أنتم إلا بشر مثلنا تريدون أن تصدونا عما كان يعبد آباؤنا فأتونا بسلطان مبين قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَـمًّى قَالُواْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَآؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - Said| رسلهم - their Messengers,| أفي - "Can (there) be about| الله - Allah| شك - any doubt,| فاطر - (the) Creator| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth?| يدعوكم - He invites you,| ليغفر - so that He may forgive| لكم - for you| من - [of]| ذنوبكم - your sins,| ويؤخركم - and give you respite| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed."| قالوا - They said,| إن - "Not| أنتم - you| إلا - (are) but| بشر - a human| مثلنا - like us,| تريدون - you wish| أن - to| تصدونا - hinder us| عما - from what| كان - used to| يعبد - worship| آباؤنا - our forefathers.| فأتونا - So bring us| بسلطان - an authority| مبين - clear."| | ||||||
| 14 [14:11] | Qalat lahum rusuluhum in nahnuilla basharun mithlukum walakinna Allahayamunnu AAala man yashao min AAibadihi wamakana lana an na/tiyakum bisultanin illabi-ithni Allahi waAAala Allahifalyatawakkali almu/minoona | قالت لهم رسلهم إن نحن إلا بشر مثلكم ولكن الله يمن على من يشاء من عباده وما كان لنا أن نأتيكم بسلطان إلا بإذن الله وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون قَالَتْ لَهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ إِن نَّحْنُ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَى مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا أَن نَّأْتِيَكُم بِسُلْطَانٍ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَعلَى اللّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - Said| لهم - to them| رسلهم - their Messengers,| إن - "Not| نحن - we (are)| إلا - but| بشر - a human| مثلكم - like you,| ولكن - but| الله - Allah| يمن - bestows His Grace| على - on| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| من - of| عباده - His slaves.| وما - And not| كان - is| لنا - for us| أن - that| نأتيكم - we bring you| بسلطان - an authority| إلا - except| بإذن - by the permission of Allah.| الله - by the permission of Allah.| وعلى - And upon| الله - Allah| فليتوكل - so let put (their) trust| المؤمنون - the believers.| | ||||||
| 15 [19:18] | Qalat innee aAAoothu bialrrahmaniminka in kunta taqiyyan | قالت إني أعوذ بالرحمن منك إن كنت تقيا قَالَتْ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِالرَّحْمَنِ مِنكَ إِن كُنتَ تَقِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| إني - "Indeed, I| أعوذ - [I] seek refuge| بالرحمن - with the Most Gracious| منك - from you| إن - if| كنت - you are| تقيا - God fearing."| | ||||||
| 16 [19:20] | Qalat anna yakoonu lee ghulamunwalam yamsasnee basharun walam aku baghiyyan | قالت أنى يكون لي غلام ولم يمسسني بشر ولم أك بغيا قَالَتْ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي غُلاَمٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| أنى - "How| يكون - can be| لي - for me| غلام - a son,| ولم - when not| يمسسني - has touched me| بشر - a man,| ولم - and not| أك - I am| بغيا - unchaste?"| | ||||||
| 17 [19:23] | Faajaaha almakhadu ilajithAAi alnnakhlati qalat ya laytaneemittu qabla hatha wakuntu nasyan mansiyyan | فأجاءها المخاض إلى جذع النخلة قالت يا ليتني مت قبل هذا وكنت نسيا منسيا فَأَجَاءَهَا الْمَخَاضُ إِلَى جِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَا لَيْتَنِي مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيًا مَّنسِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |فأجاءها - Then drove her| المخاض - the pains of childbirth| إلى - to| جذع - (the) trunk| النخلة - (of) the date-palm.| قالت - She said,| يا - O| ليتني - "O! I wish| مت - I (had) died| قبل - before| هذا - this| وكنت - and I was| نسيا - (in) oblivion,| منسيا - forgotten."| | ||||||
| 18 [27:18] | Hatta itha ataw AAalawadi alnnamli qalat namlatun ya ayyuhaalnnamlu odkhuloo masakinakum la yahtimannakumsulaymanu wajunooduhu wahum la yashAAuroona | حتى إذا أتوا على واد النمل قالت نملة يا أيها النمل ادخلوا مساكنكم لا يحطمنكم سليمان وجنوده وهم لا يشعرون حَتَّى إِذَا أَتَوْا عَلَى وَادِي النَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّمْلُ ادْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَانُ وَجُنُودُهُ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
