| 1 [2:38] | Qulna ihbitoo minhajameeAAan fa-imma ya/tiyannakum minnee hudan faman tabiAAahudaya fala khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona |  قلنا اهبطوا منها جميعا فإما يأتينكم مني هدى فمن تبع هداي فلا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنونقُلْنَا اهْبِطُواْ مِنْهَا جَمِيعاً فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّيْ هُدًى فَمَنْ تَبِعَ هُدَايَ فَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قلنا - We said,| اهبطوا - "Go down| منها - from it| جميعا - all (of you),| فإما - and when,| يأتينكم - comes to you| مني - from Me| هدى - Guidance,| فمن - then whoever| تبع - follows| هداي - My Guidance,| فلا - [then] no| خوف - fear| عليهم - (will be) on them| ولا - and not| هم - they| يحزنون - will grieve.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:158] | Inna alssafa waalmarwatamin shaAAa-iri Allahi faman hajja albaytaawi iAAtamara fala junaha AAalayhi an yattawwafabihima waman tatawwaAAa khayran fa-inna Allahashakirun AAaleemun | إن الصفا والمروة من شعائر الله فمن حج البيت أو اعتمر فلا جناح عليه أن يطوف بهما ومن تطوع خيرا فإن الله شاكر عليم إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَآئِرِ اللّهِ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الصفا - the Safa| والمروة - and the Marwah| من - (are) from| شعائر - (the) symbols| الله - (of) Allah.| فمن - So whoever| حج - performs Hajj| البيت - (of) the House| أو - or| اعتمر - performs Umrah,| فلا - so no| جناح - blame| عليه - on him| أن - that| يطوف - he walks| بهما - between [both of] them.| ومن - And whoever| تطوع - voluntarily does| خيرا - good,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| شاكر - (is) All-Appreciative,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:173] | Innama harrama AAalaykumualmaytata waalddama walahma alkhinzeeri wamaohilla bihi lighayri Allahi famani idturra ghayra baghinwala AAadin fala ithma AAalayhi inna Allahaghafoorun raheemun | إنما حرم عليكم الميتة والدم ولحم الخنزير وما أهل به لغير الله فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيم إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنْـزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ بِهِ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلاَ عَادٍ فَلا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| حرم - He has forbidden| عليكم - to you| الميتة - the dead animals,| والدم - and [the] blood,| ولحم - and flesh,| الخنزير - (of) swine,| وما - and what| أهل - has been dedicated| به - [with it]| لغير - to other than| الله - Allah.| فمن - So whoever| اضطر - (is) forced by necessity| غير - without| باغ - (being) disobedient| ولا - and not| عاد - transgressor,| فلا - then no| إثم - sin| عليه - on him.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:178] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookutiba AAalaykumu alqisasu fee alqatla alhurrubialhurri waalAAabdu bialAAabdi waalonthabialontha faman AAufiya lahu min akheehi shay-on faittibaAAunbialmaAAroofi waadaon ilayhi bi-ihsaninthalika takhfeefun min rabbikum warahmatun famaniiAAtada baAAda thalika falahu AAathabunaleemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم القصاص في القتلى الحر بالحر والعبد بالعبد والأنثى بالأنثى فمن عفي له من أخيه شيء فاتباع بالمعروف وأداء إليه بإحسان ذلك تخفيف من ربكم ورحمة فمن اعتدى بعد ذلك فله عذاب أليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِصَاصُ فِي الْقَتْلَى الْحُرُّ بِالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدُ بِالْعَبْدِ وَالْأُنثَى بِالْأُنثَى فَمَنْ عُفِيَ لَهُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ شَيْءٌ فَاتِّبَاعٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَدَاءٌ إِلَيْهِ بِإِحْسَانٍ ذَلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَهُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| كتب - Prescribed| عليكم - for you| القصاص - (is) the legal retribution| في - in| القتلى - (the matter of) the murdered,| الحر - the freeman| بالحر - for the freeman,| والعبد - and the slave| بالعبد - for the slave,| والأنثى - and the female| بالأنثى - for the female.| فمن - But whoever| عفي - is pardoned| له - [for it]| من - from| أخيه - his brother| شيء - anything,| فاتباع - then follows up| بالمعروف - with suitable| وأداء - [and] payment| إليه - to him| بإحسان - with kindness.| ذلك - That (is)| تخفيف - a concession| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| ورحمة - and mercy.| فمن - Then whoever| اعتدى - transgresses| بعد - after| ذلك - that,| فله - then for him| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:181] | Faman baddalahu baAAda ma samiAAahufa-innama ithmuhu AAala allatheenayubaddiloonahu inna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun | فمن بدله بعدما سمعه فإنما إثمه على الذين يبدلونه إن الله سميع عليم فَمَن بَدَّلَهُ بَعْدَ مَا سَمِعَهُ فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - Then whoever| بدله - changes it| بعدما - after what| سمعه - he (has) heard [it],| فإنما - so only| إثمه - its sin| على - (would be) on| الذين - those who| يبدلونه - alter it.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| سميع - (is) All-Hearing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:182] | Faman khafa min moosinjanafan aw ithman faaslaha baynahum falaithma AAalayhi inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun | فمن خاف من موص جنفا أو إثما فأصلح بينهم فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيم فَمَنْ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - But whoever| خاف - fears| من - from| موص - (the) testator| جنفا - (any) error| أو - or| إثما - sin,| فأصلح - then reconciles| بينهم - between them,| فلا - then (there is) no| إثم - sin| عليه - on him.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - All-Merciful.| | ||||||
| 7 [2:184] | Ayyaman maAAdoodatin faman kanaminkum mareedan aw AAala safarin faAAiddatun minayyamin okhara waAAala allatheena yuteeqoonahufidyatun taAAamu miskeenin faman tatawwaAAakhayran fahuwa khayrun lahu waan tasoomoo khayrun lakum inkuntum taAAlamoona | أياما معدودات فمن كان منكم مريضا أو على سفر فعدة من أيام أخر وعلى الذين يطيقونه فدية طعام مسكين فمن تطوع خيرا فهو خير له وأن تصوموا خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُ وَأَن تَصُومُواْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أياما - (Fasting for) days| معدودات - numbered.| فمن - So whoever| كان - is| منكم - among you| مريضا - sick| أو - or| على - on| سفر - a journey,| فعدة - then a prescribed number| من - of| أيام - days| أخر - other.| وعلى - And on| الذين - those who| يطيقونه - can afford it,| فدية - a ransom| طعام - (of) feeding| مسكين - a poor.| فمن - And whoever| تطوع - volunteers| خيرا - good| فهو - then it| خير - (is) better| له - for him.| وأن - And to| تصوموا - fast| خير - (is) better| لكم - for you,| إن - if| كنتم - you| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 8 [2:185] | Shahru ramadana allatheeonzila feehi alqur-anu hudan lilnnasiwabayyinatin mina alhuda waalfurqanifaman shahida minkumu alshshahra falyasumhu waman kanamareedan aw AAala safarin faAAiddatun min ayyaminokhara yureedu Allahu bikumu alyusra wala yureedubikumu alAAusra walitukmiloo alAAiddata walitukabbiroo AllahaAAala ma hadakum walaAAallakum tashkuroona | شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن هدى للناس وبينات من الهدى والفرقان فمن شهد منكم الشهر فليصمه ومن كان مريضا أو على سفر فعدة من أيام أخر يريد الله بكم اليسر ولا يريد بكم العسر ولتكملوا العدة ولتكبروا الله على ما هداكم ولعلكم تشكرون شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِيْ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ اللّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلاَ يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُواْ الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ اللّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |شهر - Month| رمضان - (of) Ramadhaan| الذي - (is) that| أنزل - was revealed| فيه - therein| القرآن - the Quran,| هدى - a Guidance| للناس - for mankind| وبينات - and clear proofs| من - of| الهدى - [the] Guidance| والفرقان - and the Criterion.| فمن - So whoever| شهد - witnesses| منكم - among you| الشهر - the month,| فليصمه - then he should fast in it,| ومن - and whoever| كان - is| مريضا - sick| أو - or| على - on| سفر - a journey| فعدة - then prescribed number (should be made up)| من - from| أيام - days| أخر - other.| يريد - Intends| الله - Allah| بكم - for you| اليسر - [the] ease| ولا - and not| يريد - intends| بكم - for you| العسر - [the] hardship,| ولتكملوا - so that you complete| العدة - the prescribed period| ولتكبروا - and that you magnify| الله - Allah| على - for| ما - [what]| هداكم - He guided you| ولعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - (be) grateful.| | ||||||
| 9 [2:194] | Alshshahru alharamu bialshshahrialharami waalhurumatu qisasunfamani iAAtada AAalaykum faiAAtadoo AAalayhibimithli ma iAAtada AAalaykum waittaqoo AllahawaiAAlamoo anna Allaha maAAa almuttaqeena | الشهر الحرام بالشهر الحرام والحرمات قصاص فمن اعتدى عليكم فاعتدوا عليه بمثل ما اعتدى عليكم واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله مع المتقين الشَّهْرُ الْحَرَامُ بِالشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْحُرُمَاتُ قِصَاصٌ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاعْتَدُواْ عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا اعْتَدَى عَلَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |الشهر - The month| الحرام - [the] sacred| بالشهر - (is) for the month| الحرام - [the] sacred,| والحرمات - and for all the violations| قصاص - (is) legal retribution.| فمن - Then whoever| اعتدى - transgressed| عليكم - upon you| فاعتدوا - then you transgress| عليه - on him| بمثل - in (the) same manner| ما - (as)| اعتدى - he transgressed| عليكم - upon you.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah| مع - (is) with| المتقين - those who fear (Him).| | ||||||
| 10 [2:196] | Waatimmoo alhajja waalAAumratalillahi fa-in ohsirtum fama istaysara minaalhadyi wala tahliqoo ruoosakum hattayablugha alhadyu mahillahu faman kana minkum mareedanaw bihi athan min ra/sihi fafidyatun min siyaminaw sadaqatin aw nusukin fa-itha amintum famantamattaAAa bialAAumrati ila alhajji famaistaysara mina alhadyi faman lam yajid fasiyamuthalathati ayyamin fee alhajji wasabAAatin itharajaAAtum tilka AAasharatun kamilatun thalika limanlam yakun ahluhu hadiree almasjidi alharamiwaittaqoo Allaha waiAAlamoo anna Allahashadeedu alAAiqabi | وأتموا الحج والعمرة لله فإن أحصرتم فما استيسر من الهدي ولا تحلقوا رءوسكم حتى يبلغ الهدي محله فمن كان منكم مريضا أو به أذى من رأسه ففدية من صيام أو صدقة أو نسك فإذا أمنتم فمن تمتع بالعمرة إلى الحج فما استيسر من الهدي فمن لم يجد فصيام ثلاثة أيام في الحج وسبعة إذا رجعتم تلك عشرة كاملة ذلك لمن لم يكن أهله حاضري المسجد الحرام واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله شديد العقاب وَأَتِمُّواْ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ لِلّهِ فَإِنْ أُحْصِرْتُمْ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ وَلاَ تَحْلِقُواْ رُؤُوسَكُمْ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْهَدْيُ مَحِلَّهُ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضاً أَوْ بِهِ أَذًى مِّن رَّأْسِهِ فَفِدْيَةٌ مِّن صِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍ فَإِذَا أَمِنتُمْ فَمَن تَمَتَّعَ بِالْعُمْرَةِ إِلَى الْحَجِّ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فِي الْحَجِّ وَسَبْعَةٍ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ تِلْكَ عَشَرَةٌ كَامِلَةٌ ذَلِكَ لِمَن لَّمْ يَكُنْ أَهْلُهُ حَاضِرِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |وأتموا - And complete| الحج - the Hajj| والعمرة - and the Umrah| لله - for Allah.| فإن - And if| أحصرتم - you are held back| فما - then (offer) whatever| استيسر - (can be) obtained with ease| من - of| الهدي - the sacrificial animal.| ولا - And (do) not| تحلقوا - shave| رءوسكم - your heads| حتى - until| يبلغ - reaches| الهدي - the sacrificial animal| محله - (to) its destination.| فمن - Then whoever| كان - is| منكم - among you| مريضا - ill| أو - or| به - he (has)| أذى - an ailment| من - of| رأسه - his head| ففدية - then a ransom| من - of| صيام - fasting| أو - or| صدقة - charity| أو - or| نسك - sacrifice.| فإذا - Then when| أمنتم - you are secure| فمن - then whoever| تمتع - took advantage| بالعمرة - of the Umrah| إلى - followed| الحج - (by) the Hajj,| فما - then (offer) whatever| استيسر - (can be) obtained with ease| من - of| الهدي - the sacrificial animal.| فمن - But whoever| لم - (can) not| يجد - find -| فصيام - then a fast| ثلاثة - (of) three| أيام - days| في - during| الحج - the Hajj| وسبعة - and seven (days)| إذا - when| رجعتم - you return.| تلك - This| عشرة - (is) ten (days)| كاملة - in all.| ذلك - That| لمن - (is) for (the one) whose,| لم - not| يكن - is| أهله - his family| حاضري - present| المسجد - (near) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) retribution.| | ||||||
| 11 [2:197] | Alhajju ashhurun maAAloomatunfaman farada feehinna alhajja fala rafathawala fusooqa wala jidala fee alhajjiwama tafAAaloo min khayrin yaAAlamhu Allahuwatazawwadoo fa-inna khayra alzzadi alttaqwawaittaqooni ya olee al-albabi | الحج أشهر معلومات فمن فرض فيهن الحج فلا رفث ولا فسوق ولا جدال في الحج وما تفعلوا من خير يعلمه الله وتزودوا فإن خير الزاد التقوى واتقون يا أولي الألباب الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَّعْلُومَاتٌ فَمَن فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ الْحَجَّ فَلاَ رَفَثَ وَلاَ فُسُوقَ وَلاَ جِدَالَ فِي الْحَجِّ وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ يَعْلَمْهُ اللّهُ وَتَزَوَّدُواْ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ الزَّادِ التَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُونِ يَا أُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ | |||||
| Words | |الحج - (For) the Hajj| أشهر - (are) months| معلومات - well known,| فمن - then whoever| فرض - undertakes| فيهن - therein| الحج - the Hajj| فلا - then no| رفث - sexual relations| ولا - and no| فسوق - wickedness| ولا - and no| جدال - quarrelling| في - during| الحج - the Hajj.| وما - And whatever| تفعلوا - you do| من - of| خير - good| يعلمه - knows it| الله - Allah.| وتزودوا - And take provision,| فإن - (but) indeed,| خير - (the) best| الزاد - provision| التقوى - (is) righteousness.| واتقون - And fear Me,| يا - O| أولي - O men| الألباب - (of) understanding!| | ||||||
| 12 [2:200] | Fa-itha qadaytum manasikakumfaothkuroo Allaha kathikrikum abaakumaw ashadda thikran famina alnnasi manyaqoolu rabbana atina fee alddunyawama lahu fee al-akhirati min khalaqin | فإذا قضيتم مناسككم فاذكروا الله كذكركم آباءكم أو أشد ذكرا فمن الناس من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا وما له في الآخرة من خلاق فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاَقٍ | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - Then when| قضيتم - you complete[d]| مناسككم - your acts of worship| فاذكروا - then remember| الله - Allah| كذكركم - as you remember| آباءكم - your forefathers| أو - or| أشد - (with) greater| ذكرا - remembrance.| فمن - And from| الناس - the people| من - who| يقول - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| آتنا - Grant us| في - in| الدنيا - the world."| وما - And not| له - for him| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| من - [of]| خلاق - any share.| | ||||||
| 13 [2:203] | Waothkuroo Allaha feeayyamin maAAdoodatin faman taAAajjala fee yawmaynifala ithma AAalayhi waman taakhkhara fala ithmaAAalayhi limani ittaqa waittaqoo Allaha waiAAlamooannakum ilayhi tuhsharoona | واذكروا الله في أيام معدودات فمن تعجل في يومين فلا إثم عليه ومن تأخر فلا إثم عليه لمن اتقى واتقوا الله واعلموا أنكم إليه تحشرون وَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ لِمَنِ اتَّقَى وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ | |||||

| 14 [2:249] | Falamma fasala talootubialjunoodi qala inna Allaha mubtaleekumbinaharin faman shariba minhu falaysa minnee waman lam yatAAamhufa-innahu minnee illa mani ightarafa ghurfatan biyadihifashariboo minhu illa qaleelan minhum falamma jawazahuhuwa waallatheena amanoo maAAahu qaloola taqata lana alyawma bijalootawajunoodihi qala allatheena yathunnoonaannahum mulaqoo Allahi kam min fi-atin qaleelatinghalabat fi-atan katheeratan bi-ithni Allahi waAllahumaAAa alssabireena | فلما فصل طالوت بالجنود قال إن الله مبتليكم بنهر فمن شرب منه فليس مني ومن لم يطعمه فإنه مني إلا من اغترف غرفة بيده فشربوا منه إلا قليلا منهم فلما جاوزه هو والذين آمنوا معه قالوا لا طاقة لنا اليوم بجالوت وجنوده قال الذين يظنون أنهم ملاقو الله كم من فئة قليلة غلبت فئة كثيرة بإذن الله والله مع الصابرين فَلَمَّا فَصَلَ طَالُوتُ بِالْجُنُودِ قَالَ إِنَّ اللّهَ مُبْتَلِيكُم بِنَهَرٍ فَمَن شَرِبَ مِنْهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَمَن لَّمْ يَطْعَمْهُ فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي إِلاَّ مَنِ اغْتَرَفَ غُرْفَةً بِيَدِهِ فَشَرِبُواْ مِنْهُ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً مِّنْهُمْ فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَهُ هُوَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَهُ قَالُواْ لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا الْيَوْمَ بِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلاَقُو اللّهِ كَم مِّن فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| فصل - set out| طالوت - Talut| بالجنود - with the forces| قال - he said,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| مبتليكم - will test you| بنهر - with a river.| فمن - So whoever| شرب - drinks| منه - from it| فليس - then he is not| مني - from me,| ومن - and whoever| لم - (does) not| يطعمه - taste it| فإنه - then indeed, he| مني - (is) from me| إلا - except| من - whoever| اغترف - takes| غرفة - (in the) hollow| بيده - (of) his hand."| فشربوا - Then they drank| منه - from it| إلا - except| قليلا - a few| منهم - of them.| فلما - Then when| جاوزه - he crossed it,| هو - he| والذين - and those who| آمنوا - believed| معه - with him,| قالوا - they said,| لا - "No| طاقة - strength| لنا - for us| اليوم - today| بجالوت - against Jalut| وجنوده - and his troops."| قال - Said| الذين - those who| يظنون - were certain| أنهم - that they| ملاقو - (would) meet| الله - Allah,| كم - "How many| من - of| فئة - a company| قليلة - small| غلبت - overcame| فئة - a company| كثيرة - large| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| والله - And Allah| مع - (is) with| الصابرين - the patient ones."| | ||||||
| 15 [2:256] | La ikraha fee alddeeniqad tabayyana alrrushdu mina alghayyi faman yakfur bialttaghootiwayu/min biAllahi faqadi istamsaka bialAAurwatialwuthqa la infisama laha waAllahusameeAAun AAaleemun | لا إكراه في الدين قد تبين الرشد من الغي فمن يكفر بالطاغوت ويؤمن بالله فقد استمسك بالعروة الوثقى لا انفصام لها والله سميع عليم لاَ إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ فَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِن بِاللّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىَ لاَ انفِصَامَ لَهَا وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||

| 16 [2:275] | Allatheena ya/kuloona alrribala yaqoomoona illa kama yaqoomu allatheeyatakhabbatuhu alshshaytanu mina almassi thalikabi-annahum qaloo innama albayAAu mithlu alrribawaahalla Allahu albayAAa waharrama alrribafaman jaahu mawAAithatun min rabbihi faintahafalahu ma salafa waamruhu ila Allahi wamanAAada faola-ika as-habu alnnarihum feeha khalidoona | الذين يأكلون الربا لا يقومون إلا كما يقوم الذي يتخبطه الشيطان من المس ذلك بأنهم قالوا إنما البيع مثل الربا وأحل الله البيع وحرم الربا فمن جاءه موعظة من ربه فانتهى فله ما سلف وأمره إلى الله ومن عاد فأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ الرِّبَا لاَ يَقُومُونَ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَقُومُ الَّذِي يَتَخَبَّطُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنَ الْمَسِّ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا الْبَيْعُ مِثْلُ الرِّبَا وَأَحَلَّ اللّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا فَمَن جَاءَهُ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَانتَهَى فَلَهُ مَا سَلَفَ وَأَمْرُهُ إِلَى اللّهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يأكلون - consume| الربا - [the] usury| لا - not| يقومون - they can stand| إلا - except| كما - like| يقوم - stands| الذي - the one who,| يتخبطه - confounds him| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| من - with| المس - (his) touch.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| قالوا - say,| إنما - "Only| البيع - the trade| مثل - (is) like| الربا - [the] usury."| وأحل - While has permitted| الله - Allah| البيع - [the] trade| وحرم - but (has) forbidden| الربا - [the] usury.| فمن - Then whoever -| جاءه - comes to him| موعظة - (the) admonition| من - from| ربه - His Lord| فانتهى - and he refrained,| فله - then for him| ما - what| سلف - (has) passed,| وأمره - and his case| إلى - (is) with| الله - Allah,| ومن - and whoever| عاد - repeated| فأولئك - then those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 17 [3:61] | Faman hajjaka feehi min baAAdi majaaka mina alAAilmi faqul taAAalaw nadAAu abnaanawaabnaakum wanisaana wanisaakumwaanfusana waanfusakum thumma nabtahil fanajAAal laAAnataAllahi AAala alkathibeena | فمن حاجك فيه من بعد ما جاءك من العلم فقل تعالوا ندع أبناءنا وأبناءكم ونساءنا ونساءكم وأنفسنا وأنفسكم ثم نبتهل فنجعل لعنت الله على الكاذبين فَمَنْ حَآجَّكَ فِيهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْاْ نَدْعُ أَبْنَاءَنَا وَأَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَنِسَاءَنَا وَنِسَاءَكُمْ وَأَنفُسَنَا وأَنفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَل لَّعْنَتَ اللّهِ عَلَى الْكَاذِبِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - Then whoever| حاجك - argues (with) you| فيه - concerning it| من - from| بعد - after| ما - what| جاءك - came to you| من - of| العلم - the knowledge| فقل - then say,| تعالوا - "Come,| ندع - let us call| أبناءنا - our sons| وأبناءكم - and your sons,| ونساءنا - and our women| ونساءكم - and your women,| وأنفسنا - and ourselves| وأنفسكم - and yourselves,| ثم - then| نبتهل - let us pray humbly,| فنجعل - and [we] invoke| لعنت - the curse| الله - (of) Allah| على - on| الكاذبين - the liars.| | ||||||
| 18 [3:82] | Faman tawalla baAAda thalikafaola-ika humu alfasiqoona | فمن تولى بعد ذلك فأولئك هم الفاسقون فَمَن تَوَلَّى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||

| 20 [3:160] | In yansurkumu Allahu falaghaliba lakum wa-in yakhthulkum faman thaallathee yansurukum min baAAdihi waAAala Allahifalyatawakkali almu/minoona | إن ينصركم الله فلا غالب لكم وإن يخذلكم فمن ذا الذي ينصركم من بعده وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون إِن يَنصُرْكُمُ اللّهُ فَلاَ غَالِبَ لَكُمْ وَإِن يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَن ذَا الَّذِي يَنصُرُكُم مِّن بَعْدِهِ وَعَلَى اللّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
