بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [2:182] | Faman khafa min moosinjanafan aw ithman faaslaha baynahum falaithma AAalayhi inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun
| فمن خاف من موص جنفا أو إثما فأصلح بينهم فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيم فَمَنْ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |
Words | |فمن - But whoever| خاف - fears| من - from| موص - (the) testator| جنفا - (any) error| أو - or| إثما - sin,| فأصلح - then reconciles| بينهم - between them,| فلا - then (there is) no| إثم - sin| عليه - on him.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - All-Merciful.| |

| ከተናዛዢም በኩል (ከውነት) መዘንበልን ወይም (ከሢሶ በመጨመር) ኃጢኣትን ያወቀና በመካከላቸው ያስታረቀ ሰው በእርሱ ላይ ኃጢኣት የለበትም፡፡ አላህ በጣም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { فمن خاف من موص } مخففا ومثقلا { جنفا } ميلا عن الحق خطأ { أو إثما } بأن تعمَّد ذلك بالزيادة على الثلث أو تخصيص غني مثلا { فأصلح بينهم } بين الموصي والموصى له بالأمر بالعدل { فلا إثم عليه } في ذلك { إن الله غفور رحيم } . |
| Ur idnib win iten issemûalaêen acku iugad rrya, ne$ abekkav, s$uô win ippuweûûan. Öebbi, s tidep, Ipsemmiê, Ipêunu. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি কেউ ওসীয়তকারীর পক্ষ থেকে আশংকা করে পক্ষপাতিত্বের অথবা কোন অপরাধমূলক সিদ্ধান্তের এবং তাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করে দেয়, তবে তার কোন গোনাহ হবে না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল, অতি দয়ালু। |
Literal | So who feared from a bequeather deviation/injustice , or a sin/crime, so he corrected/reconciliated between them, so no sin/crime on him, that God (is) forgiving, most merciful . |
Yusuf Ali | But if anyone fears partiality or wrong-doing on the part of the testator, and makes peace between (The parties concerned), there is no wrong in him: For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |
Pickthal | But he who feareth from a testator some unjust or sinful clause, and maketh peace between the parties, (it shall be) no sin for him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |
Arberry | But if any man fears injustice or sin from one making testament, and so makes things right between them, then sin shall not rest upon him; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. |
Shakir | But he who fears an inclination to a wrong course or an act of disobedience on the part of the testator, and effects an agreement between the parties, there is no blame on him. Surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |
Sarwar | One who is afraid of the testator's deviations and sin and settles the matter among the parties involved, he has not committed a sin. God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. |
H/K/Saheeh | But if one fears from the bequeather [some] error or sin and corrects that which is between them, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. |
Malik | But there is no blame on the one who suspects an error or an injustice on the part of the testator and brings about a settlement among the parties. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.[182] |

Asad | If, however, one has reason to fear that the testator has committed a mistake or a [deliberate] wrong, and thereupon brings about a settlement between the heirs, he will incur no sin [thereby]. Verily, God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace. |
Khalifa** | If one sees gross injustice or bias on the part of a testator, and takes corrective action to restore justice to the will, he commits no sin. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful. |

QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | (The one who makes a will, the testator, is likely to make errors of omission or commission.) So, if anyone, who has heard the will, fears from a testator some bias or diminishing of a due right, and then makes proper adjustments to bring about an amicable and acceptable settlement between the concerned parties, he will not be harming his own character. Verily, Allah is Absolver of imperfections, Merciful. ('Ithm' = A dragging violation that harms the human personality or potential). |
| Mutta jos joku pelkää testamentin tekijän olevan harhassa tai väärässä ja oikoo asioita rakentaakseen rauhaa (perillisten välillä), niin ei sitä lueta hänelle synniksi. Jumala on totisesti armahtavainen ja laupias. |
| Na sa taw a adn a kawan iyan ko mithanan a karibat odi na kandosa, na, go niyan siran matanor, na da a dosa niyan on: Ka mataan! a so Allah na Manapi, a Makalimoon. |
