| 1 [3:56] | Faamma allatheena kafaroofaoAAaththibuhum AAathaban shadeedan fee alddunyawaal-akhirati wama lahum min nasireena |  فأما الذين كفروا فأعذبهم عذابا شديدا في الدنيا والآخرة وما لهم من ناصرينفَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فأما - Then as for| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d],| فأعذبهم - then I will punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| شديدا - severe| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وما - And not| لهم - for them| من - any| ناصرين - helpers.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:164] | Wa-ith qalat ommatun minhumlima taAAithoona qawman Allahu muhlikuhum awmuAAaththibuhum AAathaban shadeedan qaloomaAAthiratan ila rabbikum walaAAallahum yattaqoona | وإذ قالت أمة منهم لم تعظون قوما الله مهلكهم أو معذبهم عذابا شديدا قالوا معذرة إلى ربكم ولعلهم يتقون وَإِذْ قَالَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِّنْهُمْ لِمَ تَعِظُونَ قَوْمًا اللّهُ مُهْلِكُهُمْ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا قَالُواْ مَعْذِرَةً إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قالت - said| أمة - a community| منهم - among them,| لم - "Why| تعظون - (do) you preach| قوما - a people,| الله - (whom) Allah| مهلكهم - (is going to) destroy them| أو - or| معذبهم - punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| شديدا - severe?"| قالوا - They said,| معذرة - "To be absolved| إلى - before| ربكم - your Lord| ولعلهم - and that they may| يتقون - become righteous."| | ||||||
| 3 [17:58] | Wa-in min qaryatin illa nahnumuhlikooha qabla yawmi alqiyamati aw muAAaththiboohaAAathaban shadeedan kana thalika fee alkitabimastooran | وإن من قرية إلا نحن مهلكوها قبل يوم القيامة أو معذبوها عذابا شديدا كان ذلك في الكتاب مسطورا وَإِن مَّن قَرْيَةٍ إِلاَّ نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوهَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا كَانَ ذَلِك فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And not| من - (is) any| قرية - town| إلا - but| نحن - We| مهلكوها - (will) destroy it| قبل - before| يوم - (the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection| أو - or| معذبوها - punish it| عذابا - with a punishment| شديدا - severe.| كان - That is| ذلك - That is| في - in| الكتاب - the Book| مسطورا - written.| | ||||||
| 4 [18:2] | Qayyiman liyunthira ba/san shadeedanmin ladunhu wayubashshira almu/mineena allatheenayaAAmaloona alssalihati anna lahum ajran hasanan | قيما لينذر بأسا شديدا من لدنه ويبشر المؤمنين الذين يعملون الصالحات أن لهم أجرا حسنا قَيِّمًا لِّيُنذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا مِن لَّدُنْهُ وَيُبَشِّرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا | |||||

| 5 [27:21] | LaoAAaththibannahu AAathabanshadeedan aw laathbahannahu aw laya/tiyannee bisultaninmubeenin | لأعذبنه عذابا شديدا أو لأذبحنه أو ليأتيني بسلطان مبين لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا أَوْ لَأَذْبَحَنَّهُ أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّي بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||

| 9 [65:8] | Wakaayyin min qaryatin AAatat AAan amrirabbiha warusulihi fahasabnaha hisabanshadeedan waAAaththabnaha AAathabannukran | وكأين من قرية عتت عن أمر ربها ورسله فحاسبناها حسابا شديدا وعذبناها عذابا نكرا وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِ فَحَاسَبْنَاهَا حِسَابًا شَدِيدًا وَعَذَّبْنَاهَا عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا | |||||
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - of| قرية - a town| عتت - rebelled| عن - against| أمر - (the) Command| ربها - (of) its Lord| ورسله - and His Messengers,| فحاسبناها - so We took it to account,| حسابا - an account| شديدا - severe;| وعذبناها - and We punished it,| عذابا - a punishment| نكرا - terrible.| | ||||||
| 10 [65:10] | aAAadda Allahu lahum AAathabanshadeedan faittaqoo Allaha ya olee al-albabiallatheena amanoo qad anzala Allahu ilaykum thikran | أعد الله لهم عذابا شديدا فاتقوا الله يا أولي الألباب الذين آمنوا قد أنزل الله إليكم ذكرا أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قَدْ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكُمْ ذِكْرًا | |||||

| 11 [72:8] | Waanna lamasna alssamaafawajadnaha muli-at harasan shadeedanwashuhuban | وأنا لمسنا السماء فوجدناها ملئت حرسا شديدا وشهبا وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاءَ فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا | |||||
