| 1 [2:27] | Allatheena yanqudoona AAahdaAllahi min baAAdi meethaqihi wayaqtaAAoona maamara Allahu bihi an yoosala wayufsidoona fee al-ardiola-ika humu alkhasiroona |  الذين ينقضون عهد الله من بعد ميثاقه ويقطعون ما أمر الله به أن يوصل ويفسدون في الأرض أولئك هم الخاسرونالَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَن يُّوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ أُولَـئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ | |||||

| 3 [2:56] | Thumma baAAathnakum min baAAdimawtikum laAAallakum tashkuroona | ثم بعثناكم من بعد موتكم لعلكم تشكرون ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَاكُم مِّنْ بَعْدِ مَوْتِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||

| 4 [2:64] | Thumma tawallaytum min baAAdi thalikafalawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhulakuntum mina alkhasireena | ثم توليتم من بعد ذلك فلولا فضل الله عليكم ورحمته لكنتم من الخاسرين ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَلَوْلاَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لَكُـنْـتُم مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| توليتم - you turned away| من - from| بعد - after| ذلك - that.| فلولا - So if not| فضل - (for the) Grace| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - upon you| ورحمته - and His Mercy,| لكنتم - surely you would have been| من - of| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:74] | Thumma qasat quloobukum min baAAdi thalikafahiya kaalhijarati aw ashaddu qaswatanwa-inna mina alhijarati lama yatafajjaruminhu al-anharu wa-inna minha lamayashshaqqaqu fayakhruju minhu almao wa-inna minhalama yahbitu min khashyati Allahi wamaAllahu bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona | ثم قست قلوبكم من بعد ذلك فهي كالحجارة أو أشد قسوة وإن من الحجارة لما يتفجر منه الأنهار وإن منها لما يشقق فيخرج منه الماء وإن منها لما يهبط من خشية الله وما الله بغافل عما تعملون ثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوبُكُم مِّنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَهِيَ كَالْحِجَارَةِ أَوْ أَشَدُّ قَسْوَةً وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ الأَنْهَارُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ الْمَاءُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللّهِ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| قست - hardened| قلوبكم - your hearts| من - from| بعد - after| ذلك - that| فهي - so they| كالحجارة - (became) like [the] stones| أو - or| أشد - stronger| قسوة - (in) hardness.| وإن - And indeed,| من - from| الحجارة - the stones| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يتفجر - gush forth| منه - from it| الأنهار - [the] rivers,| وإن - and indeed,| منها - from them| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يشقق - split,| فيخرج - so comes out| منه - from it| الماء - [the] water,| وإن - and indeed,| منها - from them| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يهبط - fall down| من - from| خشية - fear| الله - (of) Allah.| وما - And not| الله - (is) Allah| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:75] | AfatatmaAAoona an yu/minoo lakumwaqad kana fareequn minhum yasmaAAoona kalama Allahithumma yuharrifoonahu min baAAdi ma AAaqaloohuwahum yaAAlamoona | أفتطمعون أن يؤمنوا لكم وقد كان فريق منهم يسمعون كلام الله ثم يحرفونه من بعد ما عقلوه وهم يعلمون أَفَتَطْمَعُونَ أَنْ يُّؤْمِنُواْ لَكُمْ وَقَدْ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلاَمَ اللّهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفتطمعون - Do you hope| أن - that| يؤمنوا - they will believe| لكم - [for] you| وقد - while indeed| كان - (there) has been| فريق - a party| منهم - of them,| يسمعون - (who used to) hear| كلام - (the) words| الله - (of) Allah,| ثم - then| يحرفونه - they distort it| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| عقلوه - they understood it,| وهم - while they| يعلمون - know?| | ||||||
| 7 [2:109] | Wadda katheerun min ahli alkitabilaw yaruddoonakum min baAAdi eemanikum kuffaran hasadanmin AAindi anfusihim min baAAdi ma tabayyana lahumu alhaqqufaoAAfoo waisfahoo hattaya/tiya Allahu bi-amrihi inna Allaha AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun | ود كثير من أهل الكتاب لو يردونكم من بعد إيمانكم كفارا حسدا من عند أنفسهم من بعد ما تبين لهم الحق فاعفوا واصفحوا حتى يأتي الله بأمره إن الله على كل شيء قدير وَدَّ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُم مِّن بَعْدِ إِيمَانِكُمْ كُفَّاراً حَسَدًا مِّنْ عِندِ أَنفُسِهِم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ فَاعْفُواْ وَاصْفَحُواْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ اللّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||

| 8 [2:120] | Walan tarda AAanka alyahoodu walaalnnasara hatta tattabiAAamillatahum qul inna huda Allahi huwa alhudawala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum baAAda allathee jaakamina alAAilmi ma laka mina Allahi min waliyyin walanaseerin | ولن ترضى عنك اليهود ولا النصارى حتى تتبع ملتهم قل إن هدى الله هو الهدى ولئن اتبعت أهواءهم بعد الذي جاءك من العلم ما لك من الله من ولي ولا نصير وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَى وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولن - And never| ترضى - will be pleased| عنك - with you| اليهود - the Jews| ولا - and [not]| النصارى - the Christians| حتى - until| تتبع - you follow| ملتهم - their religion.| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| هدى - (the) Guidance| الله - (of) Allah,| هو - it| الهدى - (is) the Guidance."| ولئن - And if| اتبعت - you follow| أهواءهم - their desires| بعد - after| الذي - what| جاءك - has come to you| من - of| العلم - the knowledge,| ما - not| لك - for you| من - from| الله - Allah| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| نصير - any helper.| | ||||||
| 9 [2:145] | Wala-in atayta allatheena ootooalkitaba bikulli ayatin ma tabiAAooqiblataka wama anta bitabiAAin qiblatahum wamabaAAduhum bitabiAAin qiblata baAAdinwala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum min baAAdi ma jaakamina alAAilmi innaka ithan lamina alththalimeena | ولئن أتيت الذين أوتوا الكتاب بكل آية ما تبعوا قبلتك وما أنت بتابع قبلتهم وما بعضهم بتابع قبلة بعض ولئن اتبعت أهواءهم من بعد ما جاءك من العلم إنك إذا لمن الظالمين وَلَئِنْ أَتَيْتَ الَّذِينَ أُوْتُواْ الْكِتَابَ بِكُلِّ آيَةٍ مَّا تَبِعُواْ قِبْلَتَكَ وَمَا أَنتَ بِتَابِعٍ قِبْلَتَهُمْ وَمَا بَعْضُهُم بِتَابِعٍ قِبْلَةَ بَعْضٍ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ إِنَّكَ إِذاً لَّمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And even if| أتيت - you come| الذين - (to) those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| بكل - with all| آية - (the) signs,| ما - not| تبعوا - they would follow| قبلتك - your direction of prayer,| وما - and not| أنت - (will) you (be)| بتابع - a follower| قبلتهم - (of) their direction of prayer.| وما - And not| بعضهم - some of them| بتابع - (are) followers| قبلة - (of the) direction of prayer| بعض - (of each) other.| ولئن - And if| اتبعت - you followed| أهواءهم - their desires| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| جاءك - came to you| من - of| العلم - the knowledge,| إنك - indeed, you| إذا - (would) then| لمن - (be) surely among| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 10 [2:159] | Inna allatheena yaktumoona maanzalna mina albayyinati waalhuda minbaAAdi ma bayyannahu lilnnasi feealkitabi ola-ika yalAAanuhumu AllahuwayalAAanuhumu allaAAinoona | إن الذين يكتمون ما أنزلنا من البينات والهدى من بعد ما بيناه للناس في الكتاب أولئك يلعنهم الله ويلعنهم اللاعنون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنزَلْنَا مِنَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالْهُدَى مِن بَعْدِ مَا بَيَّنَّاهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِي الْكِتَابِ أُولَـئِكَ يَلعَنُهُمُ اللّهُ وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّاعِنُونَ | |||||

| 11 [2:164] | Inna fee khalqi alssamawatiwaal-ardi waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahariwaalfulki allatee tajree fee albahri bimayanfaAAu alnnasa wama anzala Allahumina alssama-i min ma-in faahyabihi al-arda baAAda mawtiha wabaththa feehamin kulli dabbatin watasreefi alrriyahiwaalssahabi almusakhkhari bayna alssama-iwaal-ardi laayatin liqawminyaAAqiloona | إن في خلق السماوات والأرض واختلاف الليل والنهار والفلك التي تجري في البحر بما ينفع الناس وما أنزل الله من السماء من ماء فأحيا به الأرض بعد موتها وبث فيها من كل دابة وتصريف الرياح والسحاب المسخر بين السماء والأرض لآيات لقوم يعقلون إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِن مَّاءٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخِّرِ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||

| 12 [2:178] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookutiba AAalaykumu alqisasu fee alqatla alhurrubialhurri waalAAabdu bialAAabdi waalonthabialontha faman AAufiya lahu min akheehi shay-on faittibaAAunbialmaAAroofi waadaon ilayhi bi-ihsaninthalika takhfeefun min rabbikum warahmatun famaniiAAtada baAAda thalika falahu AAathabunaleemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم القصاص في القتلى الحر بالحر والعبد بالعبد والأنثى بالأنثى فمن عفي له من أخيه شيء فاتباع بالمعروف وأداء إليه بإحسان ذلك تخفيف من ربكم ورحمة فمن اعتدى بعد ذلك فله عذاب أليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِصَاصُ فِي الْقَتْلَى الْحُرُّ بِالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدُ بِالْعَبْدِ وَالْأُنثَى بِالْأُنثَى فَمَنْ عُفِيَ لَهُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ شَيْءٌ فَاتِّبَاعٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَدَاءٌ إِلَيْهِ بِإِحْسَانٍ ذَلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَهُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| كتب - Prescribed| عليكم - for you| القصاص - (is) the legal retribution| في - in| القتلى - (the matter of) the murdered,| الحر - the freeman| بالحر - for the freeman,| والعبد - and the slave| بالعبد - for the slave,| والأنثى - and the female| بالأنثى - for the female.| فمن - But whoever| عفي - is pardoned| له - [for it]| من - from| أخيه - his brother| شيء - anything,| فاتباع - then follows up| بالمعروف - with suitable| وأداء - [and] payment| إليه - to him| بإحسان - with kindness.| ذلك - That (is)| تخفيف - a concession| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| ورحمة - and mercy.| فمن - Then whoever| اعتدى - transgresses| بعد - after| ذلك - that,| فله - then for him| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 13 [2:209] | Fa-in zalaltum min baAAdi ma jaatkumualbayyinatu faiAAlamoo anna Allaha AAazeezunhakeemun | فإن زللتم من بعد ما جاءتكم البينات فاعلموا أن الله عزيز حكيم فَإِن زَلَلْتُمْ مِّن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْكُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ فَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||

| 14 [2:211] | Sal banee isra-eela kam ataynahummin ayatin bayyinatin waman yubaddil niAAmata Allahimin baAAdi ma jaat-hu fa-inna Allahashadeedu alAAiqabi | سل بني إسرائيل كم آتيناهم من آية بينة ومن يبدل نعمة الله من بعد ما جاءته فإن الله شديد العقاب سَلْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَمْ آتَيْنَاهُم مِّنْ آيَةٍ بَيِّنَةٍ وَمَن يُبَدِّلْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||

| 15 [2:213] | Kana alnnasu ommatan wahidatanfabaAAatha Allahu alnnabiyyeena mubashshireenawamunthireena waanzala maAAahumu alkitaba bialhaqqiliyahkuma bayna alnnasi feemaikhtalafoo feehi wama ikhtalafa feehi illa allatheenaootoohu min baAAdi ma jaat-humu albayyinatubaghyan baynahum fahada Allahu allatheena amanoolima ikhtalafoo feehi mina alhaqqi bi-ithnihiwaAllahu yahdee man yashao ila siratinmustaqeemin | كان الناس أمة واحدة فبعث الله النبيين مبشرين ومنذرين وأنزل معهم الكتاب بالحق ليحكم بين الناس فيما اختلفوا فيه وما اختلف فيه إلا الذين أوتوه من بعد ما جاءتهم البينات بغيا بينهم فهدى الله الذين آمنوا لما اختلفوا فيه من الحق بإذنه والله يهدي من يشاء إلى صراط مستقيم كَانَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَبَعَثَ اللّهُ النَّبِيِّينَ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فِيمَا اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ فِيهِ إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوهُ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ فَهَدَى اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لِمَا اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِهِ وَاللّهُ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||

| 16 [2:230] | Fa-in tallaqaha falatahillu lahu min baAAdu hatta tankihazawjan ghayrahu fa-in tallaqaha fala junahaAAalayhima an yatarajaAAa in thannaan yuqeema hudooda Allahi watilka hudooduAllahi yubayyinuha liqawmin yaAAlamoona | فإن طلقها فلا تحل له من بعد حتى تنكح زوجا غيره فإن طلقها فلا جناح عليهما أن يتراجعا إن ظنا أن يقيما حدود الله وتلك حدود الله يبينها لقوم يعلمون فَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلاَ تَحِلُّ لَهُ مِن بَعْدُ حَتَّى تَنكِحَ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُ فَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَن يَتَرَاجَعَا إِن ظَنَّا أَن يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ اللّهِ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّهِ يُبَيِّنُهَا لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - Then if| طلقها - he divorces her,| فلا - then (she is) not| تحل - lawful| له - for him| من - from| بعد - after (that)| حتى - until| تنكح - she marries| زوجا - a spouse| غيره - other than him.| فإن - Then if| طلقها - he divorces her| فلا - then no| جناح - sin| عليهما - on them| أن - if| يتراجعا - they return to each other| إن - if| ظنا - they believe| أن - that| يقيما - they (will be able to) keep| حدود - (the) limits.| الله - (of) Allah.| وتلك - And these| حدود - (are the) limits.| الله - (of) Allah.| يبينها - He makes them clear| لقوم - to a people| يعلمون - who know.| | ||||||
| 17 [2:246] | Alam tara ila almala-i min banee isra-eelamin baAAdi moosa ith qaloo linabiyyin lahumuibAAath lana malikan nuqatil fee sabeeli Allahiqala hal AAasaytum in kutiba AAalaykumu alqitalualla tuqatiloo qaloo wama lanaalla nuqatila fee sabeeli Allahi waqadokhrijna min diyarina waabna-inafalamma kutiba AAalayhimu alqitalu tawallaw illaqaleelan minhum waAllahu AAaleemun bialththalimeena | ألم تر إلى الملإ من بني إسرائيل من بعد موسى إذ قالوا لنبي لهم ابعث لنا ملكا نقاتل في سبيل الله قال هل عسيتم إن كتب عليكم القتال ألا تقاتلوا قالوا وما لنا ألا نقاتل في سبيل الله وقد أخرجنا من ديارنا وأبنائنا فلما كتب عليهم القتال تولوا إلا قليلا منهم والله عليم بالظالمين أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ مِن بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِن بَعْدِ مُوسَى إِذْ قَالُواْ لِنَبِيٍّ لَّهُمُ ابْعَثْ لَنَا مَلِكًا نُّقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ قَالَ هَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِن كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ أَلاَّ تُقَاتِلُواْ قَالُواْ وَمَا لَنَا أَلاَّ نُقَاتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَقَدْ أُخْرِجْنَا مِن دِيَارِنَا وَأَبْنَآئِنَا فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ تَوَلَّوْاْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً مِّنْهُمْ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Did not| تر - you see| إلى - [towards]| الملإ - the chiefs| من - of| بني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| من - from| بعد - after| موسى - Musa,| إذ - when| قالوا - they said| لنبي - to a Prophet| لهم - of theirs,| ابعث - "Appoint| لنا - for us| ملكا - a king,| نقاتل - we may fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah?"| قال - He said,| هل - "Would| عسيتم - you perhaps -| إن - if| كتب - prescribed| عليكم - upon you| القتال - [the] fighting,| ألا - that not| تقاتلوا - you fight?"| قالوا - They said,| وما - "And what| لنا - for us| ألا - that not| نقاتل - we fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| وقد - while surely| أخرجنا - we have been driven| من - from| ديارنا - our homes| وأبنائنا - and our children?"| فلما - Yet, when| كتب - was prescribed| عليهم - upon them| القتال - the fighting| تولوا - they turned away,| إلا - except| قليلا - a few| منهم - among them.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knowing| بالظالمين - of the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 18 [2:253] | Tilka alrrusulu faddalnabaAAdahum AAala baAAdin minhum man kallamaAllahu warafaAAa baAAdahum darajatin waataynaAAeesa ibna maryama albayyinati waayyadnahubiroohi alqudusi walaw shaa Allahu maiqtatala allatheena min baAAdihim min baAAdi ma jaat-humualbayyinatu walakini ikhtalafoo faminhum man amanawaminhum man kafara walaw shaa Allahu maiqtataloo walakinna Allaha yafAAalu mayureedu | تلك الرسل فضلنا بعضهم على بعض منهم من كلم الله ورفع بعضهم درجات وآتينا عيسى ابن مريم البينات وأيدناه بروح القدس ولو شاء الله ما اقتتل الذين من بعدهم من بعد ما جاءتهم البينات ولكن اختلفوا فمنهم من آمن ومنهم من كفر ولو شاء الله ما اقتتلوا ولكن الله يفعل ما يريد تِلْكَ الرُّسُلُ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ مِّنْهُم مَّن كَلَّمَ اللّهُ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَهُمْ دَرَجَاتٍ وَآتَيْنَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ مَا اقْتَتَلَ الَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَلَـكِنِ اخْتَلَفُواْ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ آمَنَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن كَفَرَ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ مَا اقْتَتَلُواْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ | |||||
| Words | |تلك - These| الرسل - (are) the Messengers| فضلنا - We (have) preferred| بعضهم - some of them| على - over| بعض - others.| منهم - Among them| من - (were those with) whom| كلم - spoke| الله - Allah,| ورفع - and He raised| بعضهم - some of them| درجات - (in) degrees.| وآتينا - And We gave| عيسى - Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| البينات - the clear proofs| وأيدناه - and We supported him| بروح - with Spirit| القدس - [the] Holy.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| ما - not| اقتتل - (would have) fought each other| الذين - those who| من - (came) from| بعدهم - after them,| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| جاءتهم - came to them| البينات - the clear proofs.| ولكن - [And] but| اختلفوا - they differed,| فمنهم - [so] of them| من - (are some) who| آمن - believed| ومنهم - and of them| من - (are some) who| كفر - denied.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| ما - not| اقتتلوا - they (would have) fought each other,| ولكن - [and] but| الله - Allah| يفعل - does| ما - what| يريد - He intends.| | ||||||
| 19 [2:259] | Aw kaallathee marra AAalaqaryatin wahiya khawiyatun AAala AAurooshihaqala anna yuhyee hathihi AllahubaAAda mawtiha faamatahu Allahu mi-ata AAaminthumma baAAathahu qala kam labithta qala labithtuyawman aw baAAda yawmin qala bal labithta mi-ata AAaminfaonthur ila taAAamikawasharabika lam yatasannah waonthurila himarika walinajAAalaka ayatan lilnnasiwaonthur ila alAAithamikayfa nunshizuha thumma naksooha lahmanfalamma tabayyana lahu qala aAAlamu anna AllahaAAala kulli shay-in qadeerun | أو كالذي مر على قرية وهي خاوية على عروشها قال أنى يحيي هذه الله بعد موتها فأماته الله مائة عام ثم بعثه قال كم لبثت قال لبثت يوما أو بعض يوم قال بل لبثت مائة عام فانظر إلى طعامك وشرابك لم يتسنه وانظر إلى حمارك ولنجعلك آية للناس وانظر إلى العظام كيف ننشزها ثم نكسوها لحما فلما تبين له قال أعلم أن الله على كل شيء قدير أَوْ كَالَّذِي مَرَّ عَلَى قَرْيَةٍ وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَى عُرُوشِهَا قَالَ أَنَّىَ يُحْيِـي هَـذِهِ اللّهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا فَأَمَاتَهُ اللّهُ مِئَةَ عَامٍ ثُمَّ بَعَثَهُ قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتَ قَالَ لَبِثْتُ يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ قَالَ بَل لَّبِثْتَ مِئَةَ عَامٍ فَانظُرْ إِلَى طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ لَمْ يَتَسَنَّهْ وَانظُرْ إِلَى حِمَارِكَ وَلِنَجْعَلَكَ آيَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَانظُرْ إِلَى العِظَامِ كَيْفَ نُنشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوهَا لَحْمًا فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ قَالَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |أو - Or| كالذي - like the one who| مر - passed| على - by| قرية - a township,| وهي - and it| خاوية - (had) overturned| على - on| عروشها - its roofs.| قال - He said,| أنى - "How| يحيي - (will) bring to life| هذه - this (town)| الله - Allah| بعد - after| موتها - its death?"| فأماته - Then he was made to die| الله - (by) Allah| مائة - (for) a hundred| عام - year(s),| ثم - then| بعثه - He raised him.| قال - He said,| كم - "How long| لبثت - (have) you remained?"| قال - He said,| لبثت - "I remained| يوما - (for) a day| أو - or| بعض - a part| يوم - (of) a day."| قال - He said,| بل - "Nay,| لبثت - you (have) remained| مائة - one hundred| عام - year(s).| فانظر - Then look| إلى - at| طعامك - your food| وشرابك - and your drink,| لم - (they did) not| يتسنه - change with time,| وانظر - and look| إلى - at| حمارك - your donkey,| ولنجعلك - and We will make you| آية - a sign| للناس - for the people.| وانظر - And look| إلى - at| العظام - the bones| كيف - how| ننشزها - We raise them,| ثم - then| نكسوها - We cover them| لحما - (with) flesh."| فلما - Then when| تبين - became clear| له - to him,| قال - he said,| أعلم - "I know| أن - that| الله - Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful."| | ||||||
| 20 [3:8] | Rabbana la tuzigh quloobanabaAAda ith hadaytana wahab lana min ladunkarahmatan innaka anta alwahhabu | ربنا لا تزغ قلوبنا بعد إذ هديتنا وهب لنا من لدنك رحمة إنك أنت الوهاب رَبَّنَا لاَ تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ | |||||
