| 1 [3:47] | Qalat rabbi anna yakoonu leewaladun walam yamsasnee basharun qala kathaliki Allahuyakhluqu ma yashao itha qada amranfa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu |  قالت رب أنى يكون لي ولد ولم يمسسني بشر قال كذلك الله يخلق ما يشاء إذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكونقَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ قَالَ كَذَلِكِ اللّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| رب - "My Lord| أنى - how| يكون - is [it]| لي - for me| ولد - a boy,| ولم - and (has) not| يمسسني - touch(ed) me| بشر - any man?"| قال - He said,| كذلك - "Thus| الله - Allah| يخلق - creates| ما - what| يشاء - He wills.| إذا - When| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter| فإنما - then only| يقول - He says| له - to it,| كن - "Be,"| فيكون - and it becomes.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:138] | Bashshiri almunafiqeena bi-annalahum AAathaban aleeman | بشر المنافقين بأن لهم عذابا أليما بَشِّرِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||

| 3 [5:18] | Waqalati alyahoodu waalnnasaranahnu abnao Allahi waahibbaohuqul falima yuAAaththibukum bithunoobikum bal antumbasharun mimman khalaqa yaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibuman yashao walillahi mulku alssamawatiwaal-ardi wama baynahuma wa-ilayhialmaseeru | وقالت اليهود والنصارى نحن أبناء الله وأحباؤه قل فلم يعذبكم بذنوبكم بل أنتم بشر ممن خلق يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء ولله ملك السماوات والأرض وما بينهما وإليه المصير وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى نَحْنُ أَبْنَاءُ اللّهِ وَأَحِبَّاؤُهُ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُم بِذُنُوبِكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَلِلّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said,| اليهود - the Jews| والنصارى - and the Christians| نحن - "We (are)| أبناء - (the) children| الله - (of) Allah| وأحباؤه - and His beloved."| قل - Say,| فلم - "Then why| يعذبكم - (does He) punish you| بذنوبكم - for your sins?"| بل - Nay,| أنتم - you (are)| بشر - human beings| ممن - from among (those)| خلق - He created.| يغفر - He forgives| لمن - [for] whom| يشاء - He wills| ويعذب - and punishes| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| ولله - And for Allah| ملك - (is the) dominion| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| وما - and whatever| بينهما - (is) between them,| وإليه - and to Him| المصير - (is) the final return.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:60] | Qul hal onabbi-okum bisharrin min thalikamathoobatan AAinda Allahi man laAAanahu Allahuwaghadiba AAalayhi wajaAAala minhumu alqiradata waalkhanazeerawaAAabada alttaghooti ola-ika sharrun makananwaadallu AAan sawa-i alssabeeli | قل هل أنبئكم بشر من ذلك مثوبة عند الله من لعنه الله وغضب عليه وجعل منهم القردة والخنازير وعبد الطاغوت أولئك شر مكانا وأضل عن سواء السبيل قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ اللّهِ مَن لَّعَنَهُ اللّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ الطَّاغُوتَ أُوْلَـئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَاناً وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| هل - "Shall| أنبئكم - I inform you| بشر - (of) worse| من - than| ذلك - that| مثوبة - (as) recompense| عند - from| الله - Allah?| من - Whom| لعنه - has (been) cursed| الله - (by) Allah| وغضب - and He became angry| عليه - with him| وجعل - and made| منهم - of them| القردة - [the] apes| والخنازير - and [the] swines,| وعبد - and (who) worshipped| الطاغوت - the false deities.| أولئك - Those| شر - (are) worse| مكانا - (in) position| وأضل - and farthest astray| عن - from| سواء - (the) even| السبيل - way."| | ||||||
| 5 [6:91] | Wama qadaroo Allaha haqqaqadrihi ith qaloo ma anzala AllahuAAala basharin min shay-in qul man anzala alkitabaallathee jaa bihi moosa nooran wahudan lilnnasitajAAaloonahu qarateesa tubdoonaha watukhfoonakatheeran waAAullimtum ma lam taAAlamoo antum wala abaokumquli Allahu thumma tharhum fee khawdihimyalAAaboona | وما قدروا الله حق قدره إذ قالوا ما أنزل الله على بشر من شيء قل من أنزل الكتاب الذي جاء به موسى نورا وهدى للناس تجعلونه قراطيس تبدونها وتخفون كثيرا وعلمتم ما لم تعلموا أنتم ولا آباؤكم قل الله ثم ذرهم في خوضهم يلعبون وَمَا قَدَرُواْ اللّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ إِذْ قَالُواْ مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ عَلَى بَشَرٍ مِّن شَيْءٍ قُلْ مَنْ أَنزَلَ الْكِتَابَ الَّذِي جَاءَ بِهِ مُوسَى نُورًا وَهُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ تَجْعَلُونَهُ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبْدُونَهَا وَتُخْفُونَ كَثِيرًا وَعُلِّمْتُم مَّا لَمْ تَعْلَمُواْ أَنتُمْ وَلاَ آبَاؤُكُمْ قُلِ اللّهُ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِي خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| قدروا - they appraised| الله - Allah| حق - (with) true| قدره - [of his] appraisal| إذ - when| قالوا - they said,| ما - "Not| أنزل - revealed| الله - (by) Allah| على - on| بشر - a human being| من - [of]| شيء - anything."| قل - Say,| من - "Who| أنزل - revealed| الكتاب - the Book| الذي - which| جاء - brought| به - [it]| موسى - Musa| نورا - (as) a light| وهدى - and guidance| للناس - for the people?| تجعلونه - You make it| قراطيس - (into) parchments,| تبدونها - you disclose (some of) it| وتخفون - and you conceal| كثيرا - much (of it).| وعلمتم - And you were taught| ما - what| لم - not| تعلموا - knew| أنتم - you| ولا - and not| آباؤكم - your forefathers."| قل - Say,| الله - "Allah (revealed it)."| ثم - Then| ذرهم - leave them| في - in| خوضهم - their discourse -| يلعبون - playing.| | ||||||
| 6 [14:10] | Qalat rusuluhum afee Allahishakkun fatiri alssamawati waal-ardiyadAAookum liyaghfira lakum min thunoobikumwayu-akhkhirakum ila ajalin musamman qaloo in antumilla basharun mithluna tureedoona an tasuddoonaAAamma kana yaAAbudu abaonafa/toona bisultanin mubeenin | قالت رسلهم أفي الله شك فاطر السماوات والأرض يدعوكم ليغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويؤخركم إلى أجل مسمى قالوا إن أنتم إلا بشر مثلنا تريدون أن تصدونا عما كان يعبد آباؤنا فأتونا بسلطان مبين قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَـمًّى قَالُواْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَآؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - Said| رسلهم - their Messengers,| أفي - "Can (there) be about| الله - Allah| شك - any doubt,| فاطر - (the) Creator| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth?| يدعوكم - He invites you,| ليغفر - so that He may forgive| لكم - for you| من - [of]| ذنوبكم - your sins,| ويؤخركم - and give you respite| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed."| قالوا - They said,| إن - "Not| أنتم - you| إلا - (are) but| بشر - a human| مثلنا - like us,| تريدون - you wish| أن - to| تصدونا - hinder us| عما - from what| كان - used to| يعبد - worship| آباؤنا - our forefathers.| فأتونا - So bring us| بسلطان - an authority| مبين - clear."| | ||||||
| 7 [14:11] | Qalat lahum rusuluhum in nahnuilla basharun mithlukum walakinna Allahayamunnu AAala man yashao min AAibadihi wamakana lana an na/tiyakum bisultanin illabi-ithni Allahi waAAala Allahifalyatawakkali almu/minoona | قالت لهم رسلهم إن نحن إلا بشر مثلكم ولكن الله يمن على من يشاء من عباده وما كان لنا أن نأتيكم بسلطان إلا بإذن الله وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون قَالَتْ لَهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ إِن نَّحْنُ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَى مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا أَن نَّأْتِيَكُم بِسُلْطَانٍ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَعلَى اللّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - Said| لهم - to them| رسلهم - their Messengers,| إن - "Not| نحن - we (are)| إلا - but| بشر - a human| مثلكم - like you,| ولكن - but| الله - Allah| يمن - bestows His Grace| على - on| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| من - of| عباده - His slaves.| وما - And not| كان - is| لنا - for us| أن - that| نأتيكم - we bring you| بسلطان - an authority| إلا - except| بإذن - by the permission of Allah.| الله - by the permission of Allah.| وعلى - And upon| الله - Allah| فليتوكل - so let put (their) trust| المؤمنون - the believers.| | ||||||
| 8 [16:58] | Wa-itha bushshira ahaduhum bialonthathalla wajhuhu muswaddan wahuwa katheemun | وإذا بشر أحدهم بالأنثى ظل وجهه مسودا وهو كظيم وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِالْأُنثَى ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| بشر - is given good news| أحدهم - (to) one of them| بالأنثى - of a female,| ظل - turns| وجهه - his face| مسودا - dark| وهو - and he| كظيم - suppresses grief.| | ||||||
| 9 [16:59] | Yatawara mina alqawmi minsoo-i ma bushshira bihi ayumsikuhu AAala hoonin amyadussuhu fee altturabi ala saa mayahkumoona | يتوارى من القوم من سوء ما بشر به أيمسكه على هون أم يدسه في التراب ألا ساء ما يحكمون يَتَوَارَى مِنَ الْقَوْمِ مِن سُوءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِهِ أَيُمْسِكُهُ عَلَى هُونٍ أَمْ يَدُسُّهُ فِي التُّرَابِ أَلاَ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يتوارى - He hides himself| من - from| القوم - the people| من - (because) of| سوء - the evil| ما - of what| بشر - he has been given good news| به - about.| أيمسكه - Should he keep it| على - in| هون - humiliation| أم - or| يدسه - bury it| في - in| التراب - the dust?| ألا - Unquestionably,| ساء - evil| ما - (is) what| يحكمون - they decide.| | ||||||
| 10 [16:103] | Walaqad naAAlamu annahum yaqooloona innamayuAAallimuhu basharun lisanu allathee yulhidoonailayhi aAAjamiyyun wahatha lisanun AAarabiyyunmubeenun | ولقد نعلم أنهم يقولون إنما يعلمه بشر لسان الذي يلحدون إليه أعجمي وهذا لسان عربي مبين وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهُ بَشَرٌ لِّسَانُ الَّذِي يُلْحِدُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَعْجَمِيٌّ وَهَـذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِيٌّ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| نعلم - We know| أنهم - that they| يقولون - say,| إنما - "Only| يعلمه - teaches him| بشر - a human being."| لسان - (The) tongue| الذي - (of) the one| يلحدون - they refer| إليه - to him| أعجمي - (is) foreign| وهذا - while this| لسان - (is) a language| عربي - Arabic| مبين - clear.| | ||||||
| 11 [18:110] | Qul innama ana basharunmithlukum yooha ilayya annama ilahukum ilahunwahidun faman kana yarjoo liqaa rabbihifalyaAAmal AAamalan salihan wala yushrikbiAAibadati rabbihi ahadan | قل إنما أنا بشر مثلكم يوحى إلي أنما إلهكم إله واحد فمن كان يرجو لقاء ربه فليعمل عملا صالحا ولا يشرك بعبادة ربه أحدا قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَى إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاءَ رَبِّهِ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلاً صَالِحًا وَلاَ يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِ أَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إنما - "Only| أنا - I| بشر - (am) a man| مثلكم - like you.| يوحى - Has been revealed| إلي - to me| أنما - that| إلهكم - your God| إله - (is) God| واحد - One.| فمن - So whoever| كان - is| يرجو - hoping| لقاء - (for the) meeting| ربه - (with) his Lord,| فليعمل - let him do| عملا - deeds| صالحا - righteous| ولا - and not| يشرك - associate| بعبادة - in (the) worship| ربه - (of) his Lord| أحدا - anyone."| | ||||||
| 12 [19:20] | Qalat anna yakoonu lee ghulamunwalam yamsasnee basharun walam aku baghiyyan | قالت أنى يكون لي غلام ولم يمسسني بشر ولم أك بغيا قَالَتْ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي غُلاَمٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| أنى - "How| يكون - can be| لي - for me| غلام - a son,| ولم - when not| يمسسني - has touched me| بشر - a man,| ولم - and not| أك - I am| بغيا - unchaste?"| | ||||||
| 13 [21:3] | Lahiyatan quloobuhum waasarroo alnnajwaallatheena thalamoo hal hatha illabasharun mithlukum afata/toona alssihra waantum tubsiroona | لاهية قلوبهم وأسروا النجوى الذين ظلموا هل هذا إلا بشر مثلكم أفتأتون السحر وأنتم تبصرون لَاهِيَةً قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَسَرُّواْ النَّجْوَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ هَلْ هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ أَفَتَأْتُونَ السِّحْرَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لاهية - Distracted| قلوبهم - their hearts.| وأسروا - And they conceal| النجوى - the private conversation,| الذين - those who| ظلموا - [they] wronged,| هل - "Is| هذا - this| إلا - except| بشر - a human being| مثلكم - like you?| أفتأتون - So would you approach| السحر - the magic| وأنتم - while you| تبصرون - see (it)?"| | ||||||
| 14 [22:72] | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin taAArifu fee wujoohi allatheena kafarooalmunkara yakadoona yastoona biallatheenayatloona AAalayhim ayatina qulafaonabbi-okum bisharrin min thalikum alnnaruwaAAadaha Allahu allatheena kafaroo wabi/saalmaseeru | وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات تعرف في وجوه الذين كفروا المنكر يكادون يسطون بالذين يتلون عليهم آياتنا قل أفأنبئكم بشر من ذلكم النار وعدها الله الذين كفروا وبئس المصير وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الْمُنكَرَ يَكَادُونَ يَسْطُونَ بِالَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا قُلْ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَلِكُمُ النَّارُ وَعَدَهَا اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| تتلى - are recited| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses| بينات - clear,| تعرف - you will recognize| في - on| وجوه - (the) faces| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieve| المنكر - the denial.| يكادون - They almost| يسطون - attack| بالذين - those who| يتلون - recite| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses.| قل - Say,| أفأنبئكم - "Then shall I inform you| بشر - of worse| من - than| ذلكم - that?| النار - The Fire,| وعدها - Allah (has) promised it| الله - Allah (has) promised it| الذين - (for) those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| وبئس - and wretched| المصير - (is) the destination."| | ||||||
| 15 [23:24] | Faqala almalao allatheenakafaroo min qawmihi ma hatha illa basharunmithlukum yureedu an yatafaddala AAalaykum walaw shaaAllahu laanzala mala-ikatan ma samiAAnabihatha fee aba-ina al-awwaleena | فقال الملأ الذين كفروا من قومه ما هذا إلا بشر مثلكم يريد أن يتفضل عليكم ولو شاء الله لأنزل ملائكة ما سمعنا بهذا في آبائنا الأولين فَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن قَوْمِهِ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهَذَا فِي آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فقال - But said| الملأ - the chiefs| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved| من - among| قومه - his people,| ما - "This is not| هذا - "This is not| إلا - but| بشر - a man| مثلكم - like you,| يريد - he wishes| أن - to| يتفضل - assert (his) superiority| عليكم - over you,| ولو - and if| شاء - Allah had willed| الله - Allah had willed| لأنزل - surely He (would have) sent down| ملائكة - Angels.| ما - Not| سمعنا - we heard| بهذا - of this| في - from| آبائنا - our forefathers.| الأولين - our forefathers.| | ||||||
| 16 [23:33] | Waqala almalao min qawmihi allatheenakafaroo wakaththaboo biliqa-i al-akhiratiwaatrafnahum fee alhayati alddunyama hatha illa basharun mithlukum ya/kulumimma ta/kuloona minhu wayashrabu mimma tashraboona | وقال الملأ من قومه الذين كفروا وكذبوا بلقاء الآخرة وأترفناهم في الحياة الدنيا ما هذا إلا بشر مثلكم يأكل مما تأكلون منه ويشرب مما تشربون وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ وَأَتْرَفْنَاهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا مَا هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الملأ - the chiefs| من - of| قومه - his people| الذين - who| كفروا - disbelieved| وكذبوا - and denied| بلقاء - (the) meeting| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter,| وأترفناهم - while We had given them luxury| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| ما - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| بشر - a man| مثلكم - like you.| يأكل - He eats| مما - of what| تأكلون - you eat| منه - [from it],| ويشرب - and he drinks| مما - of what| تشربون - you drink.| | ||||||
| 17 [26:154] | Ma anta illa basharun mithlunafa/ti bi-ayatin in kunta mina alssadiqeena | ما أنت إلا بشر مثلنا فأت بآية إن كنت من الصادقين مَا أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا فَأْتِ بِآيَةٍ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||

| 18 [26:186] | Wama anta illa basharunmithluna wa-in nathunnuka lamina alkathibeena | وما أنت إلا بشر مثلنا وإن نظنك لمن الكاذبين وَمَا أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَإِن نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ | |||||

| 19 [30:20] | Wamin ayatihi an khalaqakummin turabin thumma itha antum basharun tantashiroona | ومن آياته أن خلقكم من تراب ثم إذا أنتم بشر تنتشرون وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ إِذَا أَنتُم بَشَرٌ تَنتَشِرُونَ | |||||
