| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[36:15] | Qaloo ma antum illabasharun mithluna wama anzala alrrahmanumin shay-in in antum illa takthiboona
|  قالوا ما أنتم إلا بشر مثلنا وما أنزل الرحمن من شيء إن أنتم إلا تكذبون
قَالُوا مَا أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَا أَنزَلَ الرَّحْمَن مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ تَكْذِبُونَ |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| ما - "Not| أنتم - you| إلا - (are) but| بشر - human beings| مثلنا - like us,| وما - and not| أنزل - has revealed| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| من - any| شيء - thing.| إن - Not| أنتم - you| إلا - (are) but| تكذبون - lying."| |

| እናንተ መሰላችን ሰዎች እንጂ ሌላ አይደላችሁም፡፡ አልረሕማንም ምንም ነገር አላወረደም፡፡ እናንተ የምትዋሹ እንጂ ሌላ አይደላችሁም አሉዋቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قالوا ما أنتم إلا بشر مثلنا وما أنزل الرحمن من شيء إن } ما { أنتم إلا تكذبون } . |
| Nnan: "kunwi d imdanen kan, am nekwni. Aênin ur d Issers acemma. Kunwi, teskiddibem kan". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলল, তোমরা তো আমাদের মতই মানুষ, রহমান আল্লাহ কিছুই নাযিল করেননি। তোমরা কেবল মিথ্যাই বলে যাচ্ছ। |
| Literal | They said: "You are not except humans equal/alike to us , and the merciful did not descend from a thing, that truly you are except lying/denying/falsifying." |
| Yusuf Ali | The (people) said: "Ye are only men like ourselves; and (Allah) Most Gracious sends no sort of revelation: ye do nothing but lie." |
