| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[26:186] | Wama anta illa basharunmithluna wa-in nathunnuka lamina alkathibeena
|  وما أنت إلا بشر مثلنا وإن نظنك لمن الكاذبين
وَمَا أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَإِن نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ |
| Words | |وما - And not| أنت - you| إلا - (are) except| بشر - a man| مثلنا - like us,| وإن - and indeed,| نظنك - we think you| لمن - surely (are) of| الكاذبين - the liars.| |

| «አንተም ብጤያችን ሰው እንጅ ሌላ አይደለህም፡፡ እነሆ ከውሸታሞች ነህ ብለን እንጠረጥርሃለን፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما أنت إلا بشر مثلنا وإن } مخففة من الثقيلة واسمها محذوف أي إنه { نظنك لمن الكاذبين } . |
| Keçç, d amdan kan, am nekwni. Nêesb ik seg wid iskiddiben. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তুমি আমাদের মত মানুষ বৈ তো নও। আমাদের ধারণা-তুমি মিথ্যাবাদীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত। |
| Literal | And you are not except (a) human similar/equal to us , and that truly we suspect you (are) from (E) the liars/falsifiers . |
| Yusuf Ali | "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! |
| Pickthal | Thou art but a mortal like us, and lo! we deem thee of the liars. |
| Arberry | thou art naught but a mortal, like us; indeed, we think that thou art one of the liars. |
