| 1 [2:36] | Faazallahuma alshshaytanuAAanha faakhrajahuma mimma kanafeehi waqulna ihbitoo baAAdukum libaAAdinAAaduwwun walakum fee al-ardi mustaqarrun wamataAAunila heenin |  فأزلهما الشيطان عنها فأخرجهما مما كانا فيه وقلنا اهبطوا بعضكم لبعض عدو ولكم في الأرض مستقر ومتاع إلى حينفَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ وَقُلْنَا اهْبِطُواْ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ وَّلَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَّمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |فأزلهما - Then made [both of] them slip| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| عنها - from it,| فأخرجهما - and he got [both of] them out| مما - from what| كانا - they [both] were| فيه - in [it].| وقلنا - And We said,| اهبطوا - "Go down (all of you),| بعضكم - some of you| لبعض - to others| عدو - (as) enemy;| ولكم - and for you| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مستقر - (is) a dwelling place| ومتاع - and a provision| إلى - for| حين - a period."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:168] | Ya ayyuha alnnasukuloo mimma fee al-ardi halalan tayyibanwala tattabiAAoo khutuwati alshshaytaniinnahu lakum AAaduwwun mubeenun | يا أيها الناس كلوا مما في الأرض حلالا طيبا ولا تتبعوا خطوات الشيطان إنه لكم عدو مبين يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُواْ مِمَّا فِي الأَرْضِ حَلاَلاً طَيِّباً وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| الناس - mankind!| كلوا - Eat| مما - of what| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth| حلالا - lawful| طيبا - (and) good.| ولا - And (do) not| تتبعوا - follow| خطوات - (the) footsteps (of)| الشيطان - the Shaitaan.| إنه - Indeed, he| لكم - (is) to you| عدو - an enemy| مبين - clear.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:208] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooodkhuloo fee alssilmi kaffatan walatattabiAAoo khutuwati alshshaytaniinnahu lakum AAaduwwun mubeenun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا ادخلوا في السلم كافة ولا تتبعوا خطوات الشيطان إنه لكم عدو مبين يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ادْخُلُواْ فِي السِّلْمِ كَآفَّةً وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| ادخلوا - Enter| في - in| السلم - Islam| كافة - completely,| ولا - and (do) not| تتبعوا - follow| خطوات - footsteps| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan.| إنه - Indeed, he| لكم - (is) for you| عدو - an enemy| مبين - open.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:268] | Alshshaytanu yaAAidukumualfaqra waya/murukum bialfahsha-i waAllahuyaAAidukum maghfiratan minhu wafadlan waAllahuwasiAAun AAaleemun | الشيطان يعدكم الفقر ويأمركم بالفحشاء والله يعدكم مغفرة منه وفضلا والله واسع عليم الشَّيْطَانُ يَعِدُكُمُ الْفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُم بِالْفَحْشَاءِ وَاللّهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغْفِرَةً مِّنْهُ وَفَضْلاً وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |الشيطان - The Shaitaan| يعدكم - promises you| الفقر - [the] poverty| ويأمركم - and orders you| بالفحشاء - to immorality,| والله - while Allah| يعدكم - promises you| مغفرة - forgiveness| منه - from Him| وفضلا - and bounty.| والله - And Allah| واسع - (is) All-Encompassing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:275] | Allatheena ya/kuloona alrribala yaqoomoona illa kama yaqoomu allatheeyatakhabbatuhu alshshaytanu mina almassi thalikabi-annahum qaloo innama albayAAu mithlu alrribawaahalla Allahu albayAAa waharrama alrribafaman jaahu mawAAithatun min rabbihi faintahafalahu ma salafa waamruhu ila Allahi wamanAAada faola-ika as-habu alnnarihum feeha khalidoona | الذين يأكلون الربا لا يقومون إلا كما يقوم الذي يتخبطه الشيطان من المس ذلك بأنهم قالوا إنما البيع مثل الربا وأحل الله البيع وحرم الربا فمن جاءه موعظة من ربه فانتهى فله ما سلف وأمره إلى الله ومن عاد فأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ الرِّبَا لاَ يَقُومُونَ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَقُومُ الَّذِي يَتَخَبَّطُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنَ الْمَسِّ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا الْبَيْعُ مِثْلُ الرِّبَا وَأَحَلَّ اللّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا فَمَن جَاءَهُ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَانتَهَى فَلَهُ مَا سَلَفَ وَأَمْرُهُ إِلَى اللّهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يأكلون - consume| الربا - [the] usury| لا - not| يقومون - they can stand| إلا - except| كما - like| يقوم - stands| الذي - the one who,| يتخبطه - confounds him| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| من - with| المس - (his) touch.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| قالوا - say,| إنما - "Only| البيع - the trade| مثل - (is) like| الربا - [the] usury."| وأحل - While has permitted| الله - Allah| البيع - [the] trade| وحرم - but (has) forbidden| الربا - [the] usury.| فمن - Then whoever -| جاءه - comes to him| موعظة - (the) admonition| من - from| ربه - His Lord| فانتهى - and he refrained,| فله - then for him| ما - what| سلف - (has) passed,| وأمره - and his case| إلى - (is) with| الله - Allah,| ومن - and whoever| عاد - repeated| فأولئك - then those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 6 [3:36] | Falamma wadaAAat-ha qalatrabbi innee wadaAAtuha ontha waAllahuaAAlamu bima wadaAAat walaysa alththakarukaalontha wa-innee sammaytuha maryamawa-innee oAAeethuha bika wathurriyyatahamina alshshaytani alrrajeemi | فلما وضعتها قالت رب إني وضعتها أنثى والله أعلم بما وضعت وليس الذكر كالأنثى وإني سميتها مريم وإني أعيذها بك وذريتها من الشيطان الرجيم فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنثَى وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْأُنثَى وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وِإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| وضعتها - she delivered her,| قالت - she said,| رب - "My Lord,| إني - indeed I| وضعتها - [I] (have) delivered [her]| أنثى - a female."| والله - And Allah| أعلم - knows better| بما - [of] what| وضعت - she delivered,| وليس - and is not| الذكر - the male| كالأنثى - like the female.| وإني - "And that I| سميتها - [I] (have) named her| مريم - Maryam| وإني - and that I| أعيذها - [I] seek refuge for her| بك - in You| وذريتها - and her offspring| من - from| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| الرجيم - the rejected."| | ||||||
| 7 [3:155] | Inna allatheena tawallaw minkumyawma iltaqa aljamAAani innama istazallahumualshshaytanu bibaAAdi ma kasaboowalaqad AAafa Allahu AAanhum inna Allahaghafoorun haleemun | إن الذين تولوا منكم يوم التقى الجمعان إنما استزلهم الشيطان ببعض ما كسبوا ولقد عفا الله عنهم إن الله غفور حليم إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْاْ مِنكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ إِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُواْ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| تولوا - turned back| منكم - among you| يوم - (on the) day| التقى - met| الجمعان - the two hosts -| إنما - only| استزلهم - made them slip| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| ببعض - for some| ما - (of) what| كسبوا - they (had) earned.| ولقد - And surely| عفا - forgave| الله - Allah| عنهم - [on] them,| إن - indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| حليم - All-Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 8 [3:175] | Innama thalikumu alshshaytanuyukhawwifu awliyaahu fala takhafoohum wakhafooniin kuntum mu/mineena | إنما ذلكم الشيطان يخوف أولياءه فلا تخافوهم وخافون إن كنتم مؤمنين إِنَّمَا ذَلِكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوْلِيَاءَهُ فَلاَ تَخَافُوهُمْ وَخَافُونِ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - (It is) only| ذلكم - that| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| يخوف - frightens (you)| أولياءه - (of) his allies.| فلا - So (do) not| تخافوهم - fear them,| وخافون - but fear Me,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 9 [4:38] | Waallatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumri-aa alnnasi wala yu/minoona biAllahiwala bialyawmi al-akhiri waman yakuni alshshaytanulahu qareenan fasaa qareenan | والذين ينفقون أموالهم رئاء الناس ولا يؤمنون بالله ولا باليوم الآخر ومن يكن الشيطان له قرينا فساء قرينا وَالَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ رِئَـاءَ النَّاسِ وَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَلاَ بِالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَمَن يَكُنِ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ قَرِينًا فَسَاءَ قَرِينًا | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| ينفقون - spend| أموالهم - their wealth| رئاء - to be seen| الناس - (by) the people| ولا - and not| يؤمنون - they believe| بالله - in Allah| ولا - and not| باليوم - in the Day| الآخر - the Last,| ومن - and whoever| يكن - has| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| له - for him| قرينا - (as) companion -| فساء - then evil| قرينا - (is he as) a companion.| | ||||||
| 10 [4:60] | Alam tara ila allatheenayazAAumoona annahum amanoo bima onzila ilayka wamaonzila min qablika yureedoona an yatahakamoo ila alttaghootiwaqad omiroo an yakfuroo bihi wayureedu alshshaytanuan yudillahum dalalan baAAeedan | ألم تر إلى الذين يزعمون أنهم آمنوا بما أنزل إليك وما أنزل من قبلك يريدون أن يتحاكموا إلى الطاغوت وقد أمروا أن يكفروا به ويريد الشيطان أن يضلهم ضلالا بعيدا أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُواْ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُواْ إِلَى الطَّاغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُواْ أَن يَكْفُرُواْ بِهِ وَيُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَن يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلاَلاً بَعِيدًا | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| إلى - [towards]| الذين - those who| يزعمون - claim| أنهم - that they| آمنوا - believe| بما - in what| أنزل - (is) revealed| إليك - to you| وما - and what| أنزل - was revealed| من - from| قبلك - before you?| يريدون - They wish| أن - to| يتحاكموا - go for judgment| إلى - to| الطاغوت - the false deities| وقد - and surely| أمروا - they were ordered| أن - to| يكفروا - reject| به - [with] it.| ويريد - And wishes| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أن - to| يضلهم - mislead them| ضلالا - astray -| بعيدا - far away.| | ||||||
| 11 [4:76] | Allatheena amanoo yuqatiloonafee sabeeli Allahi waallatheena kafaroo yuqatiloonafee sabeeli alttaghooti faqatiloo awliyaaalshshaytani inna kayda alshshaytanikana daAAeefan | الذين آمنوا يقاتلون في سبيل الله والذين كفروا يقاتلون في سبيل الطاغوت فقاتلوا أولياء الشيطان إن كيد الشيطان كان ضعيفا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ الطَّاغُوتِ فَقَاتِلُواْ أَوْلِيَاءَ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّ كَيْدَ الشَّيْطَانِ كَانَ ضَعِيفًا | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| آمنوا - believe,| يقاتلون - they fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah;| والذين - and those| كفروا - who disbelieve,| يقاتلون - they fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الطاغوت - (of) the false deities.| فقاتلوا - So fight (against)| أولياء - (the) friends| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan.| إن - Indeed,| كيد - (the) strategy| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan| كان - is| ضعيفا - weak.| | ||||||
| 12 [4:83] | Wa-itha jaahum amrun minaal-amni awi alkhawfi athaAAoo bihi walaw raddoohu ilaalrrasooli wa-ila olee al-amri minhum laAAalimahuallatheena yastanbitoonahu minhum walawla fadluAllahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu laittabaAAtumualshshaytana illa qaleelan | وإذا جاءهم أمر من الأمن أو الخوف أذاعوا به ولو ردوه إلى الرسول وإلى أولي الأمر منهم لعلمه الذين يستنبطونه منهم ولولا فضل الله عليكم ورحمته لاتبعتم الشيطان إلا قليلا وَإِذَا جَاءَهُمْ أَمْرٌ مِّنَ الْأَمْنِ أَوِ الْخَوْفِ أَذَاعُواْ بِهِ وَلَوْ رَدُّوهُ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ وَإِلَى أُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِمَهُ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَنبِطُونَهُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَوْلاَ فَضْلُ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لاَتَّبَعْتُمُ الشَّيْطَانَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| جاءهم - comes to them| أمر - a matter| من - of| الأمن - the security| أو - or| الخوف - [the] fear| أذاعوا - they spread| به - [with] it.| ولو - But if| ردوه - they (had) referred it| إلى - to| الرسول - the Messenger| وإلى - and to| أولي - those| الأمر - (having) authority| منهم - among them,| لعلمه - surely would have known it| الذين - those who| يستنبطونه - draw correct conclusion (from) it| منهم - among them.| ولولا - And if not| فضل - (had been the) bounty| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - on you| ورحمته - and His Mercy,| لاتبعتم - surely you (would have) followed| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| إلا - except| قليلا - a few.| | ||||||
| 13 [4:119] | Walaodillannahum walaomanniyannahumwalaamurannahum falayubattikunna athana al-anAAamiwalaamurannahum falayughayyirunna khalqa Allahiwaman yattakhithi alshshaytana waliyyan mindooni Allahi faqad khasira khusranan mubeenan | ولأضلنهم ولأمنينهم ولآمرنهم فليبتكن آذان الأنعام ولآمرنهم فليغيرن خلق الله ومن يتخذ الشيطان وليا من دون الله فقد خسر خسرانا مبينا وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ آذَانَ الْأَنْعَامِ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ اللّهِ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ الشَّيْطَانَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |ولأضلنهم - "And I will surely mislead them| ولأمنينهم - and surely arouse desires in them,| ولآمرنهم - and surely I will order them| فليبتكن - so they will surely cut off| آذان - (the) ears| الأنعام - (of) the cattle| ولآمرنهم - and surely I will order them| فليغيرن - so they will surely change| خلق - (the) creation| الله - (of) Allah."| ومن - And whoever| يتخذ - takes| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| وليا - (as) a friend| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah,| فقد - then surely| خسر - he (has) lost -| خسرانا - a loss| مبينا - manifest.| | ||||||
| 14 [4:120] | YaAAiduhum wayumanneehim wamayaAAiduhumu alshshaytanu illa ghurooran | يعدهم ويمنيهم وما يعدهم الشيطان إلا غرورا يَعِدُهُمْ وَيُمَنِّيهِمْ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلاَّ غُرُورًا | |||||
| Words | |يعدهم - He promises them| ويمنيهم - and arouses desires in them| وما - and not| يعدهم - promises them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan -| إلا - except| غرورا - deception.| | ||||||
| 15 [5:90] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooinnama alkhamru waalmaysiru waal-ansabuwaal-azlamu rijsun min AAamali alshshaytanifaijtaniboohu laAAallakum tuflihoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا إنما الخمر والميسر والأنصاب والأزلام رجس من عمل الشيطان فاجتنبوه لعلكم تفلحون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنصَابُ وَالْأَزْلاَمُ رِجْسٌ مِّنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| إنما - Verily| الخمر - the intoxicants| والميسر - and [the] games of chance| والأنصاب - and (sacrifices at) altars| والأزلام - and divining arrows| رجس - (are an) abomination| من - from| عمل - (the) work| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan,| فاجتنبوه - so avoid it| لعلكم - so that you may| تفلحون - (be) successful.| | ||||||
| 16 [5:91] | Innama yureedu alshshaytanuan yooqiAAa baynakumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaafee alkhamri waalmaysiri wayasuddakum AAan thikriAllahi waAAani alssalati fahal antummuntahoona | إنما يريد الشيطان أن يوقع بينكم العداوة والبغضاء في الخمر والميسر ويصدكم عن ذكر الله وعن الصلاة فهل أنتم منتهون إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ اللّهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلاَةِ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّنتَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| يريد - intends| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أن - to| يوقع - cause| بينكم - between you| العداوة - [the] enmity| والبغضاء - and [the] hatred| في - through| الخمر - intoxicants| والميسر - and gambling,| ويصدكم - and hinders you| عن - from| ذكر - (the) remembrance| الله - (of) Allah| وعن - and from| الصلاة - the prayer.| فهل - So will| أنتم - you| منتهون - (be) the ones who abstain?| | ||||||
| 17 [6:43] | Falawla ith jaahumba/suna tadarraAAoo walakin qasat quloobuhumwazayyana lahumu alshshaytanu ma kanooyaAAmaloona | فلولا إذ جاءهم بأسنا تضرعوا ولكن قست قلوبهم وزين لهم الشيطان ما كانوا يعملون فَلَوْلاَ إِذْ جَاءَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا تَضَرَّعُواْ وَلَـكِن قَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلولا - Then why not| إذ - when| جاءهم - came to them| بأسنا - Our punishment,| تضرعوا - they humbled themselves?| ولكن - But| قست - became hardened| قلوبهم - their hearts| وزين - and made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| ما - what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 18 [6:68] | Wa-itha raayta allatheenayakhoodoona fee ayatina faaAAridAAanhum hatta yakhoodoo fee hadeethinghayrihi wa-imma yunsiyannaka alshshaytanufala taqAAud baAAda alththikra maAAaalqawmi alththalimeena | وإذا رأيت الذين يخوضون في آياتنا فأعرض عنهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث غيره وإما ينسينك الشيطان فلا تقعد بعد الذكرى مع القوم الظالمين وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَلاَ تَقْعُدْ بَعْدَ الذِّكْرَى مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||

| 19 [6:142] | Wamina al-anAAami hamoolatanwafarshan kuloo mimma razaqakumu Allahu walatattabiAAoo khutuwati alshshaytaniinnahu lakum AAaduwwun mubeenun | ومن الأنعام حمولة وفرشا كلوا مما رزقكم الله ولا تتبعوا خطوات الشيطان إنه لكم عدو مبين وَمِنَ الْأَنْعَامِ حَمُولَةً وَفَرْشًا كُلُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And of| الأنعام - the cattle| حمولة - (are some for) burden| وفرشا - and (some for) meat.| كلوا - Eat| مما - of what| رزقكم - (has been) provided (to) you| الله - (by) Allah,| ولا - and (do) not| تتبعوا - follow| خطوات - (the) footsteps| الشيطان - (of) Shaitaan.| إنه - Indeed, he| لكم - (is) to you| عدو - an enemy| مبين - open.| | ||||||
| 20 [7:20] | Fawaswasa lahuma alshshaytanuliyubdiya lahuma ma wooriya AAanhuma minsaw-atihima waqala ma nahakumarabbukuma AAan hathihi alshshajarati illaan takoona malakayni aw takoona mina alkhalideena | فوسوس لهما الشيطان ليبدي لهما ما ووري عنهما من سوآتهما وقال ما نهاكما ربكما عن هذه الشجرة إلا أن تكونا ملكين أو تكونا من الخالدين فَوَسْوَسَ لَهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ لِيُبْدِيَ لَهُمَا مَا وُورِيَ عَنْهُمَا مِن سَوْءَاتِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَاكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنْ هَـذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ إِلاَّ أَن تَكُونَا مَلَكَيْنِ أَوْ تَكُونَا مِنَ الْخَالِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فوسوس - Then whispered| لهما - to both of them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| ليبدي - to make apparent| لهما - to both of them| ما - what| ووري - was concealed| عنهما - from both of them| من - of| سوآتهما - their shame.| وقال - And he said,| ما - "(Did) not| نهاكما - forbid you both| ربكما - your Lord| عن - from| هذه - this| الشجرة - [the] tree| إلا - except| أن - that| تكونا - you two become| ملكين - Angels| أو - or| تكونا - you two become| من - of| الخالدين - the immortals."| | ||||||
