| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:20] | Fawaswasa lahuma alshshaytanuliyubdiya lahuma ma wooriya AAanhuma minsaw-atihima waqala ma nahakumarabbukuma AAan hathihi alshshajarati illaan takoona malakayni aw takoona mina alkhalideena
|  فوسوس لهما الشيطان ليبدي لهما ما ووري عنهما من سوآتهما وقال ما نهاكما ربكما عن هذه الشجرة إلا أن تكونا ملكين أو تكونا من الخالدين
فَوَسْوَسَ لَهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ لِيُبْدِيَ لَهُمَا مَا وُورِيَ عَنْهُمَا مِن سَوْءَاتِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَاكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنْ هَـذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ إِلاَّ أَن تَكُونَا مَلَكَيْنِ أَوْ تَكُونَا مِنَ الْخَالِدِينَ |
| Words | |فوسوس - Then whispered| لهما - to both of them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| ليبدي - to make apparent| لهما - to both of them| ما - what| ووري - was concealed| عنهما - from both of them| من - of| سوآتهما - their shame.| وقال - And he said,| ما - "(Did) not| نهاكما - forbid you both| ربكما - your Lord| عن - from| هذه - this| الشجرة - [the] tree| إلا - except| أن - that| تكونا - you two become| ملكين - Angels| أو - or| تكونا - you two become| من - of| الخالدين - the immortals."| |

| ሰይጣንም ከሐፍረተ ገላቸው የተሸሸገውን ለእነርሱ ሊገልጽባቸው በድብቅ ንግግር ጎተጎታቸው፡፡ «ጌታችሁም መልኣኮች እንዳትኾኑ ወይም ከዘላለም ነዋሪዎች እንዳትኾኑ እንጂ ከዚህች ዛፍ አልከለከላችሁም» አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فوسوس لهما الشيطان } إبليس { ليبدي } يظهر { لهما ما ووري } فوعل من الموارة { عنهما من سوآتهما وقال ما نهاكما ربُّكما عن هذه الشجرة إلا } كراهة { أن تكونا مَلَكَيْنِ } وقرئ بكسر اللام { أو تكونا من الخالدين } أي وذلك لازم عن الأكل منها في آية أخرى (هل أدلك على شجرة الخلد ومُلك لا يبلى) . |
| I$ewwa ten Cciîan, iwakken ad asen d iban âaryan nnsen i illan iffer. Inna: "Ikkes awen, kan, Mass nnwen, ttejôa agi, iwakken ur teppilim d lmalayek, ne$ ur tepwekkiôem". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর শয়তান উভয়কে প্ররোচিত করল, যাতে তাদের অঙ্গ, যা তাদের কাছে গোপন ছিল, তাদের সামনে প্রকাশ করে দেয়। সে বললঃ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা তোমাদেরকে এ বৃক্ষ থেকে নিষেধ করেননি; তবে তা এ কারণে যে, তোমরা না আবার ফেরেশতা হয়ে যাও-কিংবা হয়ে যাও চিরকাল বসবাসকারী। |
| Literal | So the devil talked to/gave evil suggestions and temptations to them (B) to show to them (B) what was hidden/concealed from them (B) from their (B)'s shameful genital private parts, and he said: "Your (B)'s Lord did not prevent you (B) from that/this tree except that you (B) become/be two angels or you (B) become/be from the immortal/eternal ." |
| Yusuf Ali | Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: "Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever." |
| Pickthal | Then Satan whispered to them that he might manifest unto them that which was hidden from them of their shame, and he said: Your Lord forbade you from this tree only lest ye should become angels or become of the immortals. |

| Na piyangonsi siran o shaytan, ka an iyan kiran kasawai so idadalong kiran ko kayaan iran. Go pitharo iyan a: "Da a kinisaparn rkano o Kadnan iyo sangkai a kayo, a rowar sa oba kano mabaloy a dowa a malaikat, odi na mabaloy kano a pd ko phangakakakal (ko sorga)." |
