[5:91] | Innama yureedu alshshaytanuan yooqiAAa baynakumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaafee alkhamri waalmaysiri wayasuddakum AAan thikriAllahi waAAani alssalati fahal antummuntahoona
|  إنما يريد الشيطان أن يوقع بينكم العداوة والبغضاء في الخمر والميسر ويصدكم عن ذكر الله وعن الصلاة فهل أنتم منتهون
إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ اللّهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلاَةِ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّنتَهُونَ |

| ሰይጣን የሚፈልገው በሚያሰክር መጠጥና በቁማር በመካከላችሁ ጠብንና ጥላቻን ሊጥል አላህን ከማውሳትና ከስግደትም ሊያግዳችሁ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ታዲያ እናንተ (ከእነዚህ) ተከልካዮች ናችሁን (ተከልከሉ)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إنما يريد الشيطان أن يوقع بينكم العداوة والبغضاء في الخمر والميسر } إذا أتيتموهما لما يحصل فيهما من الشر والفتن { ويصدَّكم } بالاشتغال بهما { عن ذكر الله وعن الصلاة } خصها بالذكر تعظيما لها { فهل أنتم منتهون } عن إتيانهما أي انتهوا . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | শয়তান তো চায়, মদ ও জুয়ার মাধ্যমে তোমাদের পরস্পরের মাঝে শুত্রুতা ও বিদ্বেষ সঞ্চারিত করে দিতে এবং আল্লাহর স্মরণ ও নামায থেকে তোমাদেরকে বিরত রাখতে। অতএব, তোমরা এখন ও কি নিবৃত্ত হবে? |
| Literal | But the devil wants that he makes the animosity and the intense hatred fall between you, in (through use of) the intoxicants and the gambling, and he prevents/obstructs you from God's remembrance/reminder, and from the prayers, so are you ending/stopping? |
