| 1 [7:75] | Qala almalao allatheenaistakbaroo min qawmihi lillatheena istudAAifooliman amana minhum ataAAlamoona anna salihanmursalun min rabbihi qaloo inna bima orsilabihi mu/minoona |  قال الملأ الذين استكبروا من قومه للذين استضعفوا لمن آمن منهم أتعلمون أن صالحا مرسل من ربه قالوا إنا بما أرسل به مؤمنونقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ مِن قَوْمِهِ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُواْ لِمَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُمْ أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ صَالِحًا مُّرْسَلٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ قَالُواْ إِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلَ بِهِ مُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| الملأ - the chiefs| الذين - - those| استكبروا - (who) were arrogant| من - among| قومه - his people,| للذين - to those who| استضعفوا - were oppressed -| لمن - [to] those who| آمن - believed| منهم - among them,| أتعلمون - "Do you know| أن - that| صالحا - Salih| مرسل - (is the) one sent| من - from| ربه - his Lord?"| قالوا - They said,| إنا - "Indeed, we| بما - in what| أرسل - he has been sent| به - with [it]| مؤمنون - (are) believers."| | ||||||
| 2 [7:76] | Qala allatheena istakbaroo innabiallathee amantum bihi kafiroona | قال الذين استكبروا إنا بالذي آمنتم به كافرون قَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ إِنَّا بِالَّذِي آمَنتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| الذين - those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| إنا - "Indeed we,| بالذي - in that which| آمنتم - you believe| به - in it| كافرون - (are) disbelievers."| | ||||||
| 3 [7:88] | Qala almalao allatheenaistakbaroo min qawmihi lanukhrijannaka ya shuAAaybu waallatheenaamanoo maAAaka min qaryatina aw lataAAoodunna feemillatina qala awa law kunna kariheena | قال الملأ الذين استكبروا من قومه لنخرجنك يا شعيب والذين آمنوا معك من قريتنا أو لتعودن في ملتنا قال أولو كنا كارهين قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ مِن قَوْمِهِ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَا شُعَيْبُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَكَ مِن قَرْيَتِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا قَالَ أَوَلَوْ كُنَّا كَارِهِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| الملأ - the chiefs| الذين - (of) those who| استكبروا - were arrogant| من - among| قومه - his people,| لنخرجنك - "We will surely drive you out| يا - O| شعيب - O Shuaib!| والذين - And those who| آمنوا - (have) believed| معك - with you| من - from| قريتنا - our city,| أو - or| لتعودن - you must return| في - to| ملتنا - our religion."| قال - He said,| أولو - "Even if| كنا - we are| كارهين - (the) ones who hate (it)?| | ||||||
| 4 [14:21] | Wabarazoo lillahi jameeAAan faqalaaldduAAafao lillatheena istakbarooinna kunna lakum tabaAAan fahal antum mughnoonaAAanna min AAathabi Allahi min shay-in qaloolaw hadana Allahu lahadaynakum sawaonAAalayna ajaziAAna am sabarna malana min maheesin | وبرزوا لله جميعا فقال الضعفاء للذين استكبروا إنا كنا لكم تبعا فهل أنتم مغنون عنا من عذاب الله من شيء قالوا لو هدانا الله لهديناكم سواء علينا أجزعنا أم صبرنا ما لنا من محيص وَبَرَزُواْ لِلّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ قَالُواْ لَوْ هَدَانَا اللّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ | |||||
| Words | |وبرزوا - And they will come forth| لله - before Allah| جميعا - all together,| فقال - then will say| الضعفاء - the weak| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| إنا - "Indeed we,| كنا - we were| لكم - your| تبعا - followers,| فهل - so can| أنتم - you (be)| مغنون - the one who avails| عنا - us| من - from| عذاب - (the) punishment| الله - (of) Allah| من - anything?"| شيء - anything?"| قالوا - They will say,| لو - "If| هدانا - Allah had guided us| الله - Allah had guided us| لهديناكم - surely we would have guided you.| سواء - (It is) same| علينا - for us| أجزعنا - whether we show intolerance| أم - or| صبرنا - we are patient,| ما - not| لنا - (is) for us| من - any| محيص - place of escape."| | ||||||
| 5 [25:21] | Waqala allatheena layarjoona liqaana lawla onzila AAalaynaalmala-ikatu aw nara rabbana laqadiistakbaroo fee anfusihim waAAataw AAutuwwan kabeeran | وقال الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا لولا أنزل علينا الملائكة أو نرى ربنا لقد استكبروا في أنفسهم وعتوا عتوا كبيرا وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا لَوْلَا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَوْ نَرَى رَبَّنَا لَقَدِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْ عُتُوًّا كَبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يرجون - expect| لقاءنا - (the) meeting with Us,| لولا - "Why not| أنزل - are sent down| علينا - to us| الملائكة - the Angels| أو - or| نرى - we see| ربنا - our Lord?"| لقد - Indeed,| استكبروا - they have become arrogant| في - within| أنفسهم - themselves| وعتوا - and (become) insolent| عتوا - (with) insolence| كبيرا - great.| | ||||||
| 6 [34:31] | Waqala allatheena kafaroo lannu/mina bihatha alqur-ani wala biallatheebayna yadayhi walaw tara ithi alththalimoonamawqoofoona AAinda rabbihim yarjiAAu baAAduhum ilabaAAdin alqawla yaqoolu allatheena istudAAifoolillatheena istakbaroo lawla antum lakunnamu/mineena | وقال الذين كفروا لن نؤمن بهذا القرآن ولا بالذي بين يديه ولو ترى إذ الظالمون موقوفون عند ربهم يرجع بعضهم إلى بعض القول يقول الذين استضعفوا للذين استكبروا لولا أنتم لكنا مؤمنين وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَن نُّؤْمِنَ بِهَذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَلَا بِالَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ مَوْقُوفُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يَرْجِعُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ الْقَوْلَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا لَوْلَا أَنتُمْ لَكُنَّا مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And say| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| لن - "Never will| نؤمن - we believe| بهذا - in this| القرآن - Quran| ولا - and not| بالذي - in (that) which| بين - (was) before it."| يديه - (was) before it."| ولو - But if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| الظالمون - the wrongdoers| موقوفون - will be made to stand| عند - before| ربهم - their Lord,| يرجع - will throw back| بعضهم - some of them| إلى - to| بعض - others| القول - the word.| يقول - Will say| الذين - those who| استضعفوا - were oppressed| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| لولا - "If not| أنتم - (for) you| لكنا - certainly we (would) have been| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 7 [34:32] | Qala allatheena istakbaroolillatheena istudAAifoo anahnu sadadnakumAAani alhuda baAAda ith jaakum bal kuntummujrimeena | قال الذين استكبروا للذين استضعفوا أنحن صددناكم عن الهدى بعد إذ جاءكم بل كنتم مجرمين قَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا أَنَحْنُ صَدَدْنَاكُمْ عَنِ الْهُدَى بَعْدَ إِذْ جَاءَكُم بَلْ كُنتُم مُّجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Will say| الذين - those who| استكبروا - were arrogant| للذين - to those| استضعفوا - who were oppressed,| أنحن - "Did we| صددناكم - avert you| عن - from| الهدى - the guidance| بعد - after| إذ - when| جاءكم - it had come to you?| بل - Nay,| كنتم - you were| مجرمين - criminals."| | ||||||
| 8 [34:33] | Waqala allatheena istudAAifoolillatheena istakbaroo bal makru allayli waalnnahariith ta/muroonana an nakfura biAllahiwanajAAala lahu andadan waasarroo alnnadamatalamma raawoo alAAathaba wajaAAalna al-aghlalafee aAAnaqi allatheena kafaroo hal yujzawna illama kanoo yaAAmaloona | وقال الذين استضعفوا للذين استكبروا بل مكر الليل والنهار إذ تأمروننا أن نكفر بالله ونجعل له أندادا وأسروا الندامة لما رأوا العذاب وجعلنا الأغلال في أعناق الذين كفروا هل يجزون إلا ما كانوا يعملون وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا بَلْ مَكْرُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إِذْ تَأْمُرُونَنَا أَن نَّكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُ أَندَادًا وَأَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَغْلَالَ فِي أَعْنَاقِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And will say| الذين - those who| استضعفوا - were oppressed| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| بل - "Nay,| مكر - (it was) a plot| الليل - (by) night| والنهار - and (by) day| إذ - when| تأمروننا - you were ordering us| أن - that| نكفر - we disbelieve| بالله - in Allah| ونجعل - and we set up| له - for Him| أندادا - equals."| وأسروا - But they will conceal| الندامة - the regret| لما - when| رأوا - they see| العذاب - the punishment.| وجعلنا - And We will put| الأغلال - shackles| في - on| أعناق - (the) necks| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved.| هل - Will| يجزون - they be recompensed| إلا - except| ما - (for) what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do?| | ||||||
| 9 [40:47] | Wa-ith yatahajjoona fee alnnarifayaqoolu aldduAAafao lillatheenaistakbaroo inna kunna lakum tabaAAan fahal antummughnoona AAanna naseeban mina alnnari | وإذ يتحاجون في النار فيقول الضعفاء للذين استكبروا إنا كنا لكم تبعا فهل أنتم مغنون عنا نصيبا من النار وَإِذْ يَتَحَاجُّونَ فِي النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| يتحاجون - they will dispute| في - in| النار - the Fire,| فيقول - then will say| الضعفاء - the weak| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| إنا - "Indeed, we| كنا - [we] were| لكم - for you| تبعا - followers,| فهل - so can| أنتم - you| مغنون - avert| عنا - from us| نصيبا - a portion| من - of| النار - the Fire?"| | ||||||
| 10 [40:48] | Qala allatheena istakbaroo innakullun feeha inna Allaha qad hakama baynaalAAibadi | قال الذين استكبروا إنا كل فيها إن الله قد حكم بين العباد قَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُلٌّ فِيهَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ حَكَمَ بَيْنَ الْعِبَادِ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Will say| الذين - those who| استكبروا - (were) arrogant,| إنا - "Indeed, we| كل - all| فيها - (are) in it.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| قد - certainly| حكم - has judged| بين - between| العباد - (His) slaves"| | ||||||
| 11 [41:38] | Fa-ini istakbaroo faallatheenaAAinda rabbika yusabbihoona lahu biallayli waalnnahariwahum la yas-amoona | فإن استكبروا فالذين عند ربك يسبحون له بالليل والنهار وهم لا يسأمون فَإِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فَالَّذِينَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْأَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - But if| استكبروا - they are arrogant,| فالذين - then those who| عند - (are) near| ربك - your Lord,| يسبحون - glorify| له - Him| بالليل - by night| والنهار - and day.| وهم - And they| لا - (do) not| يسأمون - tire.| | ||||||
