بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [34:32] | Qala allatheena istakbaroolillatheena istudAAifoo anahnu sadadnakumAAani alhuda baAAda ith jaakum bal kuntummujrimeena
| قال الذين استكبروا للذين استضعفوا أنحن صددناكم عن الهدى بعد إذ جاءكم بل كنتم مجرمين قَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا أَنَحْنُ صَدَدْنَاكُمْ عَنِ الْهُدَى بَعْدَ إِذْ جَاءَكُم بَلْ كُنتُم مُّجْرِمِينَ |
Words | |قال - Will say| الذين - those who| استكبروا - were arrogant| للذين - to those| استضعفوا - who were oppressed,| أنحن - "Did we| صددناكم - avert you| عن - from| الهدى - the guidance| بعد - after| إذ - when| جاءكم - it had come to you?| بل - Nay,| كنتم - you were| مجرمين - criminals."| |

| እነዚያ የኮሩት ለእነዚያ ለተዋረዱት «ከትክክለኛው እምነት ከመጣላችሁ በኋላ እኛ ከለከልናችሁን? አይደለም (እናንተው) ከሓዲዎች ነበራችሁ» ይሏቸዋል፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { قال الذين استكبروا للذين استضعفوا أنحن صددناكم عن الهدى بعد إذ جاءكم } لا { بل كنتم مجرمين } في أنفسكم . |
| Ad inin imzuxiyen i uôhifen: "day d nekwni ikwen isfeô$en af nnhaya, mi kwen id iusa? Xaîi, tellam d ibe$wviyen". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অহংকারীরা দুর্বলকে বলবে, তোমাদের কাছে হেদায়েত আসার পর আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে বাধা দিয়েছিলাম? বরং তোমরাই তো ছিলে অপরাধী। |
Literal | Those who were arrogant said to those who were weakened: "Did we prevent/obstruct you from the guidance after when (it) came to you? But you were criminals/sinners." |
Yusuf Ali | The arrogant ones will say to those who had been despised: "Was it we who kept you back from Guidance after it reached you? Nay, rather, it was ye who transgressed. |
Pickthal | Those who were proud say unto those who were despised: Did we drive you away from the guidance after it had come unto you? Nay, but ye were guilty. |
Arberry | Those that waxed proud will say to those that were abased, 'What, did we bar you from the guidance after it came to you? Nay, rather you were sinners.' |

[Lit., "did we keep you away from guidance after it had come to you?"] Nay, it was but you [yourselves] who were guilty!" |
