[7:88] | Qala almalao allatheenaistakbaroo min qawmihi lanukhrijannaka ya shuAAaybu waallatheenaamanoo maAAaka min qaryatina aw lataAAoodunna feemillatina qala awa law kunna kariheena
|  قال الملأ الذين استكبروا من قومه لنخرجنك يا شعيب والذين آمنوا معك من قريتنا أو لتعودن في ملتنا قال أولو كنا كارهين
قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ مِن قَوْمِهِ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَا شُعَيْبُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَكَ مِن قَرْيَتِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا قَالَ أَوَلَوْ كُنَّا كَارِهِينَ |

| ከሕዝቦቹ እነዚያ የኮሩት መሪዎች፡- «ሹዓይብ ሆይ! አንተንና እነዚያን ከአንተጋር ያመኑትን ከከተማችን በእርግጥ እናስወጣችኋለን፡፡ ወይም ወደ ሃይማኖታችን መመለስ አለባችሁ አሉ፡፡ የጠላንም ብንኾን» አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال الملأ الذين استكبروا من قومه } عن الإيمان { لنخرجنك يا شعيب والذين آمنوا معك من قريتنا أو لتعودُن } ترجعن { في ملتنا } ديننا وغلبوا في الخطاب الجمع على الواحد لأن شعيبا لم يكن في ملتهم قط وعلى نحوه أجاب { قال أ } نعود فيها { ولو كنا كارهين } لها استفهام إنكار . |
| Nnan d imvebbôen imzuxiyen, n ugdud is,: "a k nessuffe$ a Cuâayeb, keçç, akked wid iumnen yidek, si temdint nne$, ne$ a d tu$alev ar ddin nne$". Inna: "xas nugi? |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তার সম্প্রদায়ের দাম্ভিক সর্দাররা বললঃ হে শোয়ায়েব, আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাকে এবং তোমার সাথে বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারীদেরকে শহর থেকে বের করে দেব অথবা তোমরা আমাদের ধর্মে প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে। শোয়ায়েব বললঃ আমরা অপছন্দ করলেও কি ? |
| Literal | The nobles/assembly, those who became arrogant from his nation said: "We will bring/drive you out (E) you Shu'aib and those who believed with you from our village/urban city or you return (E) in our religion/faith." He said: "Or even if we were hating (it)?" |
| Yusuf Ali | The leaders, the arrogant party among his people, said: "O Shu'aib! we shall certainly drive thee out of our city - (thee) and those who believe with thee; or else ye (thou and they) shall have to return to our ways and religion." He said: "What! even though we do detest (them)? |
