| 1 [2:36] | Faazallahuma alshshaytanuAAanha faakhrajahuma mimma kanafeehi waqulna ihbitoo baAAdukum libaAAdinAAaduwwun walakum fee al-ardi mustaqarrun wamataAAunila heenin |  فأزلهما الشيطان عنها فأخرجهما مما كانا فيه وقلنا اهبطوا بعضكم لبعض عدو ولكم في الأرض مستقر ومتاع إلى حينفَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ وَقُلْنَا اهْبِطُواْ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ وَّلَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَّمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |فأزلهما - Then made [both of] them slip| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| عنها - from it,| فأخرجهما - and he got [both of] them out| مما - from what| كانا - they [both] were| فيه - in [it].| وقلنا - And We said,| اهبطوا - "Go down (all of you),| بعضكم - some of you| لبعض - to others| عدو - (as) enemy;| ولكم - and for you| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مستقر - (is) a dwelling place| ومتاع - and a provision| إلى - for| حين - a period."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:134] | Tilka ommatun qad khalat laha makasabat walakum ma kasabtum wala tus-aloona AAammakano yaAAmaloona | تلك أمة قد خلت لها ما كسبت ولكم ما كسبتم ولا تسألون عما كانوا يعملون تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ وَلاَ تُسْأَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |تلك - This| أمة - (was) a community| قد - (which)| خلت - has passed away,| لها - for it| ما - what| كسبت - it earned| ولكم - and for you| ما - what| كسبتم - you have earned.| ولا - And not| تسألون - you will be asked| عما - about what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:139] | Qul atuhajjoonana fee Allahiwahuwa rabbuna warabbukum walana aAAmalunawalakum aAAmalukum wanahnu lahu mukhlisoona | قل أتحاجوننا في الله وهو ربنا وربكم ولنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم ونحن له مخلصون قُلْ أَتُحَآجُّونَنَا فِي اللّهِ وَهُوَ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ وَلَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُخْلِصُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أتحاجوننا - "Do you argue with us| في - about| الله - Allah| وهو - while He| ربنا - (is) our Lord| وربكم - and your Lord?| ولنا - And for us| أعمالنا - (are) our deeds| ولكم - and for you| أعمالكم - (are) your deeds| ونحن - and we| له - to Him| مخلصون - (are) sincere.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:141] | Tilka ommatun qad khalat laha makasabat walakum ma kasabtum wala tus-aloona AAammakanoo yaAAmaloona | تلك أمة قد خلت لها ما كسبت ولكم ما كسبتم ولا تسألون عما كانوا يعملون تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ وَلاَ تُسْأَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |تلك - This| أمة - (was) a community| قد - (which)| خلت - has passed away,| لها - for it| ما - what| كسبت - it earned| ولكم - and for you| ما - what| كسبتم - you have earned.| ولا - And not| تسألون - you will be asked| عما - about what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:179] | Walakum fee alqisasi hayatunya olee al-albabi laAAallakum tattaqoona | ولكم في القصاص حياة يا أولي الألباب لعلكم تتقون وَلَكُمْ فِي الْقِصَاصِ حَيَاةٌ يَاْ أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكم - And for you| في - in| القصاص - the legal retribution| حياة - (is) life,| يا - O| أولي - O men| الألباب - (of) understanding!| لعلكم - So that you may| تتقون - (become) righteous.| | ||||||
| 6 [4:12] | Walakum nisfu ma taraka azwajukumin lam yakun lahunna waladun fa-in kana lahunna waladunfalakumu alrrubuAAu mimma tarakna min baAAdi wasiyyatinyooseena biha aw daynin walahunna alrrubuAAumimma taraktum in lam yakun lakum waladun fa-in kanalakum waladun falahunna alththumunu mimma taraktummin baAAdi wasiyyatin toosoona biha awdaynin wa-in kana rajulun yoorathu kalalatan awiimraatun walahu akhun aw okhtun falikulli wahidin minhumaalssudusu fa-in kanoo akthara min thalikafahum shurakao fee alththuluthi min baAAdi wasiyyatinyoosa biha aw daynin ghayra mudarrin wasiyyatanmina Allahi waAllahu AAaleemun haleemun | ولكم نصف ما ترك أزواجكم إن لم يكن لهن ولد فإن كان لهن ولد فلكم الربع مما تركن من بعد وصية يوصين بها أو دين ولهن الربع مما تركتم إن لم يكن لكم ولد فإن كان لكم ولد فلهن الثمن مما تركتم من بعد وصية توصون بها أو دين وإن كان رجل يورث كلالة أو امرأة وله أخ أو أخت فلكل واحد منهما السدس فإن كانوا أكثر من ذلك فهم شركاء في الثلث من بعد وصية يوصى بها أو دين غير مضار وصية من الله والله عليم حليم وَلَكُمْ نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ أَزْوَاجُكُمْ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَلَكُمُ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْنَ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِينَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ وَلَهُنَّ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ تُوصُونَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ وَإِن كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُورَثُ كَلاَلَةً أَوِ امْرَأَةٌ وَلَهُ أَخٌ أَوْ أُخْتٌ فَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ فَإِن كَانُواْ أَكْثَرَ مِن ذَلِكَ فَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ فِي الثُّلُثِ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصَى بِهَآ أَوْ دَيْنٍ غَيْرَ مُضَآرٍّ وَصِيَّةً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولكم - And for you| نصف - (is) half| ما - (of) what| ترك - (is) left| أزواجكم - by your wives| إن - if| لم - not| يكن - is| لهن - for them| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| كان - is| لهن - for them| ولد - a child,| فلكم - then for you| الربع - (is) the fourth| مما - of what| تركن - they left,| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصين - they have made| بها - [for which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| ولهن - And for them| الربع - (is) the fourth| مما - of what| تركتم - you left,| إن - if| لم - not| يكن - is| لكم - for you| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| كان - is| لكم - for you| ولد - a child,| فلهن - then for them| الثمن - (is) the eighth| مما - of what| تركتم - you left| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| توصون - you have made| بها - [for which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| وإن - And if| كان - [is]| رجل - a man| يورث - (whose wealth) is to be inherited| كلالة - (has) no parent or child| أو - or| امرأة - a women| وله - and for him| أخ - (is) a brother| أو - or| أخت - a sister,| فلكل - then for each| واحد - one| منهما - of (the) two| السدس - (is) the sixth.| فإن - But if| كانوا - they are| أكثر - more| من - than| ذلك - that,| فهم - then they| شركاء - (are) partners| في - in| الثلث - the third,| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصى - was made| بها - [for which]| أو - or| دين - any debt| غير - without| مضار - (being) harmful.| وصية - An ordinance| من - from| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knowing,| حليم - All-Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 7 [7:24] | Qala ihbitoo baAAdukumlibaAAdin AAaduwwun walakum fee al-ardi mustaqarrunwamataAAun ila heenin | قال اهبطوا بعضكم لبعض عدو ولكم في الأرض مستقر ومتاع إلى حين قَالَ اهْبِطُواْ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ وَلَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |قال - (Allah) said,| اهبطوا - "Get down| بعضكم - some of you| لبعض - to some others| عدو - (as) enemy.| ولكم - And for you| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مستقر - (is) a dwelling place| ومتاع - and livelihood| إلى - for| حين - a time."| | ||||||
| 8 [10:41] | Wa-in kaththabooka faqul lee AAamaleewalakum AAamalukum antum baree-oona mimma aAAmalu waanabaree-on mimma taAAmaloona | وإن كذبوك فقل لي عملي ولكم عملكم أنتم بريئون مما أعمل وأنا بريء مما تعملون وَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّي عَمَلِي وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ أَنتُمْ بَرِيئُونَ مِمَّا أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَاْ بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| كذبوك - they deny you| فقل - then say,| لي - "For me| عملي - (are) my deeds,| ولكم - and for you| عملكم - (are) your deeds.| أنتم - You| بريئون - (are) disassociated| مما - from what| أعمل - I do,| وأنا - and I am| بريء - disassociated| مما - from what| تعملون - you do."| | ||||||
| 9 [16:6] | Walakum feeha jamalun heenatureehoona waheena tasrahoona | ولكم فيها جمال حين تريحون وحين تسرحون وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكم - And for you| فيها - in them| جمال - (is) beauty| حين - when| تريحون - you bring them in| وحين - and when| تسرحون - you take them out.| | ||||||
| 10 [16:94] | Wala tattakhithoo aymanakumdakhalan baynakum fatazilla qadamun baAAda thubootiha watathooqooalssoo-a bima sadadtum AAan sabeeli Allahiwalakum AAathabun AAatheemun | ولا تتخذوا أيمانكم دخلا بينكم فتزل قدم بعد ثبوتها وتذوقوا السوء بما صددتم عن سبيل الله ولكم عذاب عظيم وَلاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ أَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلاً بَيْنَكُمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُواْ الْسُّوءَ بِمَا صَدَدتُّمْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَلَكُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تتخذوا - take| أيمانكم - your oaths| دخلا - (as) a deception| بينكم - between you,| فتزل - lest, should slip| قدم - a foot| بعد - after| ثبوتها - it is firmly planted,| وتذوقوا - and you would taste| السوء - the evil| بما - for what| صددتم - you hindered| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| ولكم - and for you| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 11 [21:18] | Bal naqthifu bialhaqqiAAala albatili fayadmaghuhu fa-itha huwa zahiqunwalakumu alwaylu mimma tasifoona | بل نقذف بالحق على الباطل فيدمغه فإذا هو زاهق ولكم الويل مما تصفون بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |بل - Nay,| نقذف - We hurl| بالحق - the truth| على - against| الباطل - [the] falsehood,| فيدمغه - and it breaks its head,| فإذا - behold,| هو - it (is)| زاهق - vanishing.| ولكم - And for you| الويل - (is) destruction| مما - for what| تصفون - you ascribe.| | ||||||
| 12 [23:21] | Wa-inna lakum fee al-anAAamilaAAibratan nusqeekum mimma fee butoonihawalakum feeha manafiAAu katheeratun waminhata/kuloona | وإن لكم في الأنعام لعبرة نسقيكم مما في بطونها ولكم فيها منافع كثيرة ومنها تأكلون وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَةً نُّسقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِي بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| لكم - for you| في - in| الأنعام - the cattle| لعبرة - surely, (is) a lesson.| نسقيكم - We give you drink| مما - from what| في - (is) in| بطونها - their bellies,| ولكم - and for you| فيها - in them| منافع - (are) benefits| كثيرة - many| ومنها - and of them| تأكلون - you eat.| | ||||||
| 13 [26:155] | Qala hathihi naqatunlaha shirbun walakum shirbu yawmin maAAloomin | قال هذه ناقة لها شرب ولكم شرب يوم معلوم قَالَ هَذِهِ نَاقَةٌ لَّهَا شِرْبٌ وَلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| هذه - "This| ناقة - (is) a she-camel.| لها - For her| شرب - (is a share of) drink,| ولكم - and for you| شرب - (is a share of) drink| يوم - (on) a day| معلوم - known.| | ||||||
| 14 [28:55] | Wa-itha samiAAoo allaghwa aAAradooAAanhu waqaloo lana aAAmaluna walakumaAAmalukum salamun AAalaykum la nabtagheealjahileena | وإذا سمعوا اللغو أعرضوا عنه وقالوا لنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم سلام عليكم لا نبتغي الجاهلين وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا اللَّغْوَ أَعْرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا نَبْتَغِي الْجَاهِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| سمعوا - they hear| اللغو - vain talk,| أعرضوا - they turn away| عنه - from it| وقالوا - and say,| لنا - "For us| أعمالنا - our deeds| ولكم - and for you| أعمالكم - your deeds.| سلام - Peace (be)| عليكم - on you;| لا - not| نبتغي - we seek| الجاهلين - the ignorant."| | ||||||
| 15 [40:80] | Walakum feeha manafiAAuwalitablughoo AAalayha hajatan fee sudoorikumwaAAalayha waAAala alfulki tuhmaloona | ولكم فيها منافع ولتبلغوا عليها حاجة في صدوركم وعليها وعلى الفلك تحملون وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا عَلَيْهَا حَاجَةً فِي صُدُورِكُمْ وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكم - And for you| فيها - in them| منافع - (are) benefits| ولتبلغوا - and that you may reach| عليها - through them| حاجة - a need| في - (that is) in| صدوركم - your breasts;| وعليها - and upon them| وعلى - and upon| الفلك - the ships| تحملون - you are carried.| | ||||||
| 16 [41:31] | Nahnu awliyaokum fee alhayatialddunya wafee al-akhirati walakum feehama tashtahee anfusukum walakum feeha mataddaAAoona | نحن أولياؤكم في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة ولكم فيها ما تشتهي أنفسكم ولكم فيها ما تدعون نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَاؤُكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِي أَنفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |نحن - We| أولياؤكم - (are) your protectors| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| وفي - and in| الآخرة - the Hereafter.| ولكم - And for you| فيها - therein| ما - whatever| تشتهي - desire| أنفسكم - your souls,| ولكم - and for you| فيها - therein| ما - what| تدعون - you ask,| | ||||||
| 17 [42:15] | Falithalika faodAAu waistaqimkama omirta wala tattabiAA ahwaahum waqul amantubima anzala Allahu min kitabin waomirtuli-aAAdila baynakum Allahu rabbuna warabbukum lanaaAAmaluna walakum aAAmalukum la hujjatabaynana wabaynakumu Allahu yajmaAAu baynanawa-ilayhi almaseeru | فلذلك فادع واستقم كما أمرت ولا تتبع أهواءهم وقل آمنت بما أنزل الله من كتاب وأمرت لأعدل بينكم الله ربنا وربكم لنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم لا حجة بيننا وبينكم الله يجمع بيننا وإليه المصير فَلِذَلِكَ فَادْعُ وَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَقُلْ آمَنتُ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِن كِتَابٍ وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَعْدِلَ بَيْنَكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ اللَّهُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |فلذلك - So to that| فادع - then invite,| واستقم - and stand firm| كما - as| أمرت - you are commanded| ولا - and (do) not| تتبع - follow| أهواءهم - their desires,| وقل - but say,| آمنت - "I believe| بما - in what| أنزل - Allah has sent down| الله - Allah has sent down| من - of| كتاب - (the) Book,| وأمرت - and I am commanded| لأعدل - that I do justice| بينكم - between you.| الله - Allah| ربنا - (is) our Lord| وربكم - and your Lord.| لنا - For us| أعمالنا - our deeds| ولكم - and for you| أعمالكم - your deeds.| لا - (There is) no| حجة - argument| بيننا - between us| وبينكم - and between you.| الله - Allah| يجمع - will assemble| بيننا - [between] us,| وإليه - and to Him| المصير - (is) the final return."| | ||||||
| 18 [52:39] | Am lahu albanatu walakumu albanoona | أم له البنات ولكم البنون أَمْ لَهُ الْبَنَاتُ وَلَكُمُ الْبَنُونَ | |||||
