| 1 [2:160] | Illa allatheena taboowaaslahoo wabayyanoo faola-ika atoobuAAalayhim waana alttawwabu alrraheemu |  إلا الذين تابوا وأصلحوا وبينوا فأولئك أتوب عليهم وأنا التواب الرحيمإِلاَّ الَّذِينَ تَابُواْ وَأَصْلَحُواْ وَبَيَّنُواْ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| الذين - those| تابوا - who repent[ed]| وأصلحوا - and reform[ed]| وبينوا - and openly declar[ed].| فأولئك - Then those,| أتوب - I will accept repentance| عليهم - from them,| وأنا - and I (am)| التواب - the Acceptor of Repentance,| الرحيم - the Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:81] | Wa-ith akhatha Allahumeethaqa alnnabiyyeena lama ataytukummin kitabin wahikmatin thumma jaakumrasoolun musaddiqun lima maAAakum latu/minunna bihiwalatansurunnahu qala aaqrartum waakhathtumAAala thalikum isree qaloo aqrarnaqala faishhadoo waana maAAakum mina alshshahideena | وإذ أخذ الله ميثاق النبيين لما آتيتكم من كتاب وحكمة ثم جاءكم رسول مصدق لما معكم لتؤمنن به ولتنصرنه قال أأقررتم وأخذتم على ذلكم إصري قالوا أقررنا قال فاشهدوا وأنا معكم من الشاهدين وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللّهُ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ لَمَا آتَيْتُكُم مِّن كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُ قَالَ أَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكُمْ إِصْرِي قَالُواْ أَقْرَرْنَا قَالَ فَاشْهَدُواْ وَأَنَاْ مَعَكُم مِّنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| أخذ - took| الله - Allah| ميثاق - covenant| النبيين - (of) the Prophets,| لما - "Certainly, whatever| آتيتكم - I (have) given you| من - of| كتاب - (the) Book| وحكمة - and wisdom| ثم - then| جاءكم - comes to you| رسول - a Messenger| مصدق - confirming| لما - that which| معكم - (is) with you,| لتؤمنن - you must believe| به - in him| ولتنصرنه - and you must help him."| قال - He said,| أأقررتم - "Do you affirm| وأخذتم - and take| على - on| ذلكم - that (condition)| إصري - My Covenant?"| قالوا - They said,| أقررنا - "We affirm."| قال - He said,| فاشهدوا - "Then bear witness,| وأنا - and I (am)| معكم - with you| من - among| الشاهدين - the witnesses."| | ||||||
| 3 [6:163] | La shareeka lahu wabithalikaomirtu waana awwalu almuslimeena | لا شريك له وبذلك أمرت وأنا أول المسلمين لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَاْ أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - No| شريك - partners| له - for Him;| وبذلك - and with that| أمرت - I have been commanded.| وأنا - And I am| أول - (the) first| المسلمين - (of) the ones who surrender (to Him).| | ||||||
| 4 [7:68] | Oballighukum risalati rabbeewaana lakum nasihun ameenun | أبلغكم رسالات ربي وأنا لكم ناصح أمين أُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسَالاَتِ رَبِّي وَأَنَا لَكُمْ نَاصِحٌ أَمِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |أبلغكم - I convey to you| رسالات - Messages| ربي - (of) my Lord| وأنا - and I am| لكم - to you| ناصح - an adviser -| أمين - trustworthy.| | ||||||
| 5 [7:143] | Walamma jaa moosalimeeqatina wakallamahu rabbuhu qala rabbiarinee anthur ilayka qala lan taraneewalakini onthur ila aljabali fa-iniistaqarra makanahu fasawfa taranee falammatajalla rabbuhu liljabali jaAAalahu dakkan wakharra moosasaAAiqan falamma afaqa qala subhanakatubtu ilayka waana awwalu almu/mineena | ولما جاء موسى لميقاتنا وكلمه ربه قال رب أرني أنظر إليك قال لن تراني ولكن انظر إلى الجبل فإن استقر مكانه فسوف تراني فلما تجلى ربه للجبل جعله دكا وخر موسى صعقا فلما أفاق قال سبحانك تبت إليك وأنا أول المؤمنين وَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُوسَى لِمِيقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ لَن تَرَانِي وَلَـكِنِ انظُرْ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُ فَسَوْفَ تَرَانِي فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّى رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ مُوسَى صَعِقًا فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَاْ أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جاء - came| موسى - Musa| لميقاتنا - to Our appointed place| وكلمه - and spoke to him| ربه - his Lord,| قال - he said,| رب - "O my Lord!| أرني - Show me| أنظر - (that) I may look| إليك - at You."| قال - He said,| لن - "Never| تراني - you (can) see Me,| ولكن - but| انظر - look| إلى - at| الجبل - the mountain| فإن - [then] if| استقر - it remains| مكانه - in its place| فسوف - then| تراني - you (will) see Me."| فلما - But when| تجلى - revealed (His) Glory| ربه - his Lord| للجبل - to the mountain,| جعله - He made it| دكا - crumbled to dust| وخر - and fell down| موسى - Musa| صعقا - unconscious.| فلما - And when| أفاق - he recovered| قال - he said,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| تبت - I turn (in repentance)| إليك - to you,| وأنا - and I am| أول - (the) first| المؤمنين - (of) the believers."| | ||||||
| 6 [10:41] | Wa-in kaththabooka faqul lee AAamaleewalakum AAamalukum antum baree-oona mimma aAAmalu waanabaree-on mimma taAAmaloona | وإن كذبوك فقل لي عملي ولكم عملكم أنتم بريئون مما أعمل وأنا بريء مما تعملون وَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّي عَمَلِي وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ أَنتُمْ بَرِيئُونَ مِمَّا أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَاْ بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| كذبوك - they deny you| فقل - then say,| لي - "For me| عملي - (are) my deeds,| ولكم - and for you| عملكم - (are) your deeds.| أنتم - You| بريئون - (are) disassociated| مما - from what| أعمل - I do,| وأنا - and I am| بريء - disassociated| مما - from what| تعملون - you do."| | ||||||
| 7 [10:90] | Wajawazna bibanee isra-eelaalbahra faatbaAAahum firAAawnu wajunooduhu baghyanwaAAadwan hatta itha adrakahu algharaqu qalaamantu annahu la ilaha illa allatheeamanat bihi banoo isra-eela waana minaalmuslimeena | وجاوزنا ببني إسرائيل البحر فأتبعهم فرعون وجنوده بغيا وعدوا حتى إذا أدركه الغرق قال آمنت أنه لا إله إلا الذي آمنت به بنو إسرائيل وأنا من المسلمين وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا حَتَّى إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الْغَرَقُ قَالَ آمَنتُ أَنَّهُ لاَ إِلِـهَ إِلاَّ الَّذِي آمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَنَاْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وجاوزنا - And We took across| ببني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel -| البحر - the sea,| فأتبعهم - and followed them| فرعون - Firaun| وجنوده - and his hosts| بغيا - (in) rebellion| وعدوا - and enmity,| حتى - until| إذا - when| أدركه - overtook him| الغرق - the drowning,| قال - he said,| آمنت - "I believe| أنه - that| لا - (there is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| الذي - the One,| آمنت - in Whom believe| به - in Whom believe| بنو - the Children of Israel,| إسرائيل - the Children of Israel,| وأنا - and I am| من - of| المسلمين - the Muslims."| | ||||||
| 8 [11:35] | Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul iniiftaraytuhu faAAalayya ijramee waana baree-on mimmatujrimoona | أم يقولون افتراه قل إن افتريته فعلي إجرامي وأنا بريء مما تجرمون أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ قُلْ إِنِ افْتَرَيْتُهُ فَعَلَيَّ إِجْرَامِي وَأَنَاْ بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تُجْرِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| يقولون - (do) they say,| افتراه - "He has invented it?"| قل - Say,| إن - "If| افتريته - I have invented it,| فعلي - then on me| إجرامي - (is) my crime,| وأنا - but I am| بريء - innocent| مما - of what| تجرمون - crimes you commit."| | ||||||
| 9 [11:72] | Qalat ya waylata aaliduwaana AAajoozun wahatha baAAlee shaykhan inna hathalashay-on AAajeebun | قالت يا ويلتى أألد وأنا عجوز وهذا بعلي شيخا إن هذا لشيء عجيب قَالَتْ يَا وَيْلَتَى أَأَلِدُ وَأَنَاْ عَجُوزٌ وَهَـذَا بَعْلِي شَيْخًا إِنَّ هَـذَا لَشَيْءٌ عَجِيبٌ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| يا - O| ويلتى - "Woe to me!| أألد - Shall I bear a child| وأنا - while I am| عجوز - an old woman| وهذا - and this,| بعلي - my husband,| شيخا - (is) an old man?| إن - Indeed,| هذا - this| لشيء - (is) surely a thing| عجيب - amazing."| | ||||||
| 10 [12:59] | Walamma jahhazahum bijahazihimqala i/toonee bi-akhin lakum min abeekum alatarawna annee oofee alkayla waana khayru almunzileena | ولما جهزهم بجهازهم قال ائتوني بأخ لكم من أبيكم ألا ترون أني أوفي الكيل وأنا خير المنزلين وَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمْ قَالَ ائْتُونِي بِأَخٍ لَّكُم مِّنْ أَبِيكُمْ أَلاَ تَرَوْنَ أَنِّي أُوفِي الْكَيْلَ وَأَنَاْ خَيْرُ الْمُـنْـزِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جهزهم - he had furnished them| بجهازهم - with their supplies,| قال - he said,| ائتوني - "Bring to me| بأخ - a brother| لكم - of yours,| من - from| أبيكم - your father.| ألا - Do not| ترون - you see| أني - that I| أوفي - [I] give full| الكيل - [the] measure,| وأنا - and that I am| خير - (the) best| المنزلين - (of) the hosts?| | ||||||
| 11 [12:72] | Qaloo nafqidu suwaAAaalmaliki waliman jaa bihi himlu baAAeerin waanabihi zaAAeemun | قالوا نفقد صواع الملك ولمن جاء به حمل بعير وأنا به زعيم قَالُواْ نَفْقِدُ صُوَاعَ الْمَلِكِ وَلِمَن جَاءَ بِهِ حِمْلُ بَعِيرٍ وَأَنَاْ بِهِ زَعِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| نفقد - "We are missing| صواع - (the) cup| الملك - (of) the king.| ولمن - And for (one) who| جاء - brings| به - it,| حمل - (is) a load| بعير - (of) a camel,| وأنا - and I| به - for it| زعيم - (is) responsible."| | ||||||
| 12 [20:13] | Waana ikhtartuka faistamiAAlima yooha | وأنا اخترتك فاستمع لما يوحى وَأَنَا اخْتَرْتُكَ فَاسْتَمِعْ لِمَا يُوحَى | |||||
| Words | |وأنا - And I| اخترتك - (have) chosen you,| فاستمع - so listen| لما - to what| يوحى - is revealed.| | ||||||
| 13 [21:56] | Qala bal rabbukum rabbu alssamawatiwaal-ardi allathee fatarahunna waanaAAala thalikum mina alshshahideena | قال بل ربكم رب السماوات والأرض الذي فطرهن وأنا على ذلكم من الشاهدين قَالَ بَل رَّبُّكُمْ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ الَّذِي فَطَرَهُنَّ وَأَنَا عَلَى ذَلِكُم مِّنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| بل - "Nay,| ربكم - your Lord| رب - (is the) Lord| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| الذي - the One Who| فطرهن - created them| وأنا - and I am| على - to| ذلكم - that| من - of| الشاهدين - the witnesses.| | ||||||
| 14 [21:92] | Inna hathihi ommatukum ommatan wahidatanwaana rabbukum faoAAbudooni | إن هذه أمتكم أمة واحدة وأنا ربكم فاعبدون إِنَّ هَذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| هذه - this| أمتكم - (is) your religion -| أمة - religion| واحدة - one,| وأنا - and I Am| ربكم - your Lord,| فاعبدون - so worship Me.| | ||||||
| 15 [23:52] | Wa-inna hathihi ommatukum ommatan wahidatanwaana rabbukum faittaqooni | وإن هذه أمتكم أمة واحدة وأنا ربكم فاتقون وَإِنَّ هَذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاتَّقُونِ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And indeed| هذه - this,| أمتكم - your religion,| أمة - (is) religion| واحدة - one.| وأنا - And I Am| ربكم - your Lord,| فاتقون - so fear Me.| | ||||||
| 16 [26:20] | Qala faAAaltuha ithanwaana mina alddalleena | قال فعلتها إذا وأنا من الضالين قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَا إِذًا وَأَنَا مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| فعلتها - "I did it| إذا - when| وأنا - I| من - (was) of| الضالين - those who are astray.| | ||||||
| 17 [40:42] | TadAAoonanee li-akfura biAllahiwaoshrika bihi ma laysa lee bihi AAilmun waanaadAAookum ila alAAazeezi alghaffari | تدعونني لأكفر بالله وأشرك به ما ليس لي به علم وأنا أدعوكم إلى العزيز الغفار تَدْعُونَنِي لِأَكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَأُشْرِكَ بِهِ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَأَنَا أَدْعُوكُمْ إِلَى الْعَزِيزِ الْغَفَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |تدعونني - You call me| لأكفر - that I disbelieve| بالله - in Allah| وأشرك - and (to) associate| به - with Him| ما - what| ليس - not| لي - for me| به - of it| علم - any knowledge,| وأنا - and I| أدعوكم - call you| إلى - to| العزيز - the All-Mighty,| الغفار - the Oft-Forgiving.| | ||||||
| 18 [60:1] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo AAaduwwee waAAaduwwakum awliyaatulqoona ilayhim bialmawaddati waqad kafaroo bima jaakummina alhaqqi yukhrijoona alrrasoola wa-iyyakuman tu/minoo biAllahi rabbikum in kuntum kharajtumjihadan fee sabeelee waibtighaa mardateetusirroona ilayhim bialmawaddati waana aAAlamu bimaakhfaytum wama aAAlantum waman yafAAalhu minkum faqad dallasawaa alssabeeli | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا عدوي وعدوكم أولياء تلقون إليهم بالمودة وقد كفروا بما جاءكم من الحق يخرجون الرسول وإياكم أن تؤمنوا بالله ربكم إن كنتم خرجتم جهادا في سبيلي وابتغاء مرضاتي تسرون إليهم بالمودة وأنا أعلم بما أخفيتم وما أعلنتم ومن يفعله منكم فقد ضل سواء السبيل يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ تُلْقُونَ إِلَيْهِم بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا بِمَا جَاءَكُم مِّنَ الْحَقِّ يُخْرِجُونَ الرَّسُولَ وَإِيَّاكُمْ أَن تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ رَبِّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ خَرَجْتُمْ جِهَادًا فِي سَبِيلِي وَابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِي تُسِرُّونَ إِلَيْهِم بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِمَا أَخْفَيْتُمْ وَمَا أَعْلَنتُمْ وَمَن يَفْعَلْهُ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| لا - (Do) not| تتخذوا - take| عدوي - My enemies| وعدوكم - and your enemies| أولياء - (as) allies| تلقون - offering| إليهم - them| بالمودة - love| وقد - while| كفروا - they have disbelieved| بما - in what| جاءكم - came to you| من - of| الحق - the truth,| يخرجون - driving out| الرسول - the Messenger| وإياكم - and yourselves| أن - because| تؤمنوا - you believe| بالله - in Allah,| ربكم - your Lord.| إن - If| كنتم - you| خرجتم - come forth| جهادا - (to) strive| في - in| سبيلي - My way| وابتغاء - and (to) seek| مرضاتي - My Pleasure.| تسرون - You confide| إليهم - to them| بالمودة - love,| وأنا - but I Am| أعلم - most knowing| بما - of what| أخفيتم - you conceal| وما - and what| أعلنتم - you declare.| ومن - And whoever| يفعله - does it| منكم - among you| فقد - then certainly| ضل - he has strayed| سواء - (from the) straight| السبيل - path.| | ||||||
| 19 [72:5] | Waanna thanannaan lan taqoola al-insu waaljinnu AAala Allahikathiban | وأنا ظننا أن لن تقول الإنس والجن على الله كذبا وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَن لَّن تَقُولَ الْإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا | |||||
| Words | |وأنا - And that we| ظننا - thought| أن - that| لن - never| تقول - will say| الإنس - the men| والجن - and the jinn,| على - against| الله - Allah| كذبا - any lie.| | ||||||
| 20 [72:8] | Waanna lamasna alssamaafawajadnaha muli-at harasan shadeedanwashuhuban | وأنا لمسنا السماء فوجدناها ملئت حرسا شديدا وشهبا وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاءَ فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا | |||||
| Words | |وأنا - And that we| لمسنا - sought to touch| السماء - the heaven| فوجدناها - but we found it| ملئت - filled (with)| حرسا - guards| شديدا - severe,| وشهبا - and flaming fires.| | ||||||
