بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo AAaduwwee waAAaduwwakum awliyaatulqoona ilayhim bialmawaddati waqad kafaroo bima jaakummina alhaqqi yukhrijoona alrrasoola wa-iyyakuman tu/minoo biAllahi rabbikum in kuntum kharajtumjihadan fee sabeelee waibtighaa mardateetusirroona ilayhim bialmawaddati waana aAAlamu bimaakhfaytum wama aAAlantum waman yafAAalhu minkum faqad dallasawaa alssabeeli

يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا عدوي وعدوكم أولياء تلقون إليهم بالمودة وقد كفروا بما جاءكم من الحق يخرجون الرسول وإياكم أن تؤمنوا بالله ربكم إن كنتم خرجتم جهادا في سبيلي وابتغاء مرضاتي تسرون إليهم بالمودة وأنا أعلم بما أخفيتم وما أعلنتم ومن يفعله منكم فقد ضل سواء السبيل
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ تُلْقُونَ إِلَيْهِم بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا بِمَا جَاءَكُم مِّنَ الْحَقِّ يُخْرِجُونَ الرَّسُولَ وَإِيَّاكُمْ أَن تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ رَبِّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ خَرَجْتُمْ جِهَادًا فِي سَبِيلِي وَابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِي تُسِرُّونَ إِلَيْهِم بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِمَا أَخْفَيْتُمْ وَمَا أَعْلَنتُمْ وَمَن يَفْعَلْهُ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ

Words

እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ! ጠላቶቼንና ጠላቶቻችሁን ወዳጆች አድርገችሁ አትያዙ፡፡ ከእውነቱ የመጣላችሁን ሃይማኖት በእርግጥ የካዱ ሲኾኑ ውዴታን ወደእነርሱ ታደርሳላችሁ፡፡ መልክተኛውንና እናንተን በአላህ በጌታችሁ ስላመናችሁ (ከመካ) ያወጣሉ፡፡ በመንገዴ ለመታገልና ውዴታዬን ለመፈለግ የወጣችሁ እንደኾናችሁ (ወዳጆች አድርጋችሁ አትያዙዋቸው)፡፡ እኔ የምትደብቁትንና የምትገልጹትን ሁሉ የማውቅ ስኾን ወደእነርሱ በፍቅር ትመሳጠራላችሁ፡፡ ከእናንተም (ይህንን) የሚሠራ ሰው ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ በእርግጥ ተሳሳተ፡፡

آل الجلالين

{ يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا عدوي وعدوَّكم } أي كفار مكة { أولياء تلقون } توصلون { إليهم } قصد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم غزوهم الذي أسرَّوُ إليكم وَوَرَّى بحُنَين { بالمودة } بينكم وبينهم كتب حاطب بن أبي بلتعة إليهم كتابا بذلك لما له عندهم من الأولاد والأهل المشركين فاسترده النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ممن أرسله معه بإعلام الله تعالى له بذلك وقبل عذر حاطب فيه { وقد كفروا بما جاءكم من الحق } أي دين الإسلام والقرآن { يخرجون الرسول وإياكم } من مكة بتضييقهم عليكم { أن تؤمنوا } أي لأجل أن آمنتم { بالله ربكم إن كنتم خرجتم جهادا } للجهاد { في سبيلي وابتغاء مرضاتي } وجواب الشرط دل عليه ما قبله، أي فلا تتخذوهم أولياء { تُسرون إليهم بالمودة وأنا أعلم بما أخفيتم وما أعلنتم ومن يفعله منكم } أي إسرار خبر النبي إليهم { فقد ضل سواء السبيل } أخطأ طريق الهدى، والسواء في الأصل الوسط .

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আমার ও তোমাদের শত্রুদেরকে বন্ধরূপে গ্রহণ করো না। তোমরা তো তাদের প্রতি বন্ধুত্বের বার্তা পাঠাও, অথচ তারা যে সত্য তোমাদের কাছে আগমন করেছে, তা অস্বীকার করছে। তারা রসূলকে ও তোমাদেরকে বহিস্কার করে এই অপরাধে যে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ। যদি তোমরা আমার সন্তুষ্টিলাভের জন্যে এবং আমার পথে জেহাদ করার জন্যে বের হয়ে থাক, তবে কেন তাদের প্রতি গোপনে বন্ধুত্বের পয়গাম প্রেরণ করছ? তোমরা যা গোপন কর এবং যা প্রকাশ কর, ত আমি খুব জানি। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে এটা করে, সে সরলপথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে যায়।

Literal

You, you those who believed, do not take My enemy and your enemy (as) guardians/allies , you throw to them with the love/affection, and they had disbelieved with what came to you from the truth , they drive/bring out the messenger and you, (because) that (E) you believe with (in) God your Lord, if you had gotten out/appeared struggling/defending for the faith in My way/path , and wishing/desiring My acceptances/approvals , you keep secret to them with the love/affection, and I am more knowledgeable with what you hid, and what you declared/publicized , and who makes/does it from you, so he had been misguided/lost (from) the way's/path's straightness/middle .

Yusuf Ali

O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path.

Pickthal

O ye who believe! Choose not My enemy and your enemy for allies. Do ye give them friendship when they disbelieve in that truth which hath come unto you, driving out the messenger and you because ye believe in Allah, your Lord? If ye have come forth to strive in My way and seeking My good pleasure, (show them not friendship). Do ye show friendship unto them in secret, when I am Best Aware of what ye hide and what ye proclaim? And whosoever doeth it among you, he verily hath strayed from the right way.

Arberry

O believers, take not My enemy and your enemy for friends, offering them love, though they have disbelieved in the truth that has come to you, expelling the Messenger and you because you believe in God your Lord. If you go forth to struggle in My way and seek My good pleasure, secretly loving them, yet I know very well what you conceal and what you publish; and whosoever of you does that, has gone astray from the right way.

Shakir

O you who believe! do not take My enemy and your enemy for friends: would you offer them love while they deny what has come to you of the truth, driving out the Messenger and yourselves because you believe in Allah, your Lord? If you go forth struggling hard in My path and seeking My pleasure, would you manifest love to them? And I know what you conceal and what you manifest; and whoever of you does this, he indeed has gone astray from the straight path.

Sarwar

Believers, do not choose My enemies and your own enemies for friends, and offer them strong love. They have rejected the Truth which has come to you, and have expelled the Messenger and you from your homes because of your belief in your Lord. When you go to fight for My cause and seek My pleasure, you secretly express your love of them. I know best what you reveal or conceal. Whichever of you does this has indeed gone astray from the right path.

O you who have believed, do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies, extending to them affection while they have disbelieved in what came to you of the truth, having driven out the Prophet and yourselves [only] because you believe in Allah, your Lord. If you have come out for jihad in My cause and seeking means to My approval, [take them not as friends]. You confide to them affection, but I am most knowing of what you have concealed and what you have declared. And whoever does it among you has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.

Malik

O believers! Do not make friendship with those who are enemies of Mine and yours. Would you show them friendship, when they have denied the truth that has come to you and have driven the Messenger and yourselves out of your homes, simply because you believe in Allah, your Lord? If it was indeed to strive in My way, and to seek My good pleasure that you left your homes, how can you befriend in secret? I know all that you conceal, and all that you reveal. Any of you who does this, he indeed has gone astray from the Right Way.[1]

Maulana Ali**

O you who believe, take not My enemy and your enemy for friends. Would you offer them love, while they deny the Truth that has come to you, driving out the Messenger and yourselves because you believe in Allah, your Lord? If you have come forth to strive in My way and to seek My pleasure, would you love them in secret? And I know what you conceal and what you manifest. And whoever of you does this, he indeed strays from the straight path.

Free Minds

I am fully aware of everything you conceal, and what you declare. And whosoever of you does this, then he has gone astray from the right path.

Qaribullah

Believers, do not take My enemy and your enemy for your guides, offering them love when they have disbelieved the truth that has come to you, who expel the Messenger and yourselves because you believe in Allah, your Lord! If you go out to struggle in My way seeking My pleasure, but secretly love them, I know well what you conceal and what you reveal; whosoever of you does this will have gone astray from the Right Path.

O true believers, take not my enemy and your enemy for your friends, shewing kindness toward them; since they believe not in the truth which hath come unto you, having expelled the Apostle and yourselves from your native city, because ye believe in God, your Lord. If ye go forth to fight in defence of my religion, and out of a desire to please me, and privately shew friendship unto them; verily I well know that which ye conceal, and that which ye discover: And whoever of you doth this, hath already erred from the strait path.

And any of you who does this has already strayed from the right path.

Khalifa**

O you who believe, you shall not befriend My enemies and your enemies, extending love and friendship to them, even though they have disbelieved in the truth that has come to you. They persecute the messenger, and you, just because you believe in GOD, your Lord. If you mobilize to struggle in My cause, seeking My blessings, how can you secretly love them? I am fully aware of everything you conceal, and everything you declare. Those among you who do this have indeed strayed off the right path.

Hilali/Khan**

O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists, etc.) as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth (i.e. Islamic Monotheism, this Quran, and Muhammad SAW), and have driven out the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) and yourselves (from your homeland) because you believe in Allah your Lord! If you have come forth to strive in My Cause and to seek My Good Pleasure, (then take not these disbelievers and polytheists, etc., as your friends). You show friendship to them in secret, while I am All-Aware of what you conceal and what you reveal. And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray, (away) from the Straight Path .

O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! Do not take My enemies - who are your enemies as well - for friends. Do you extend love and friendship to them when they reject the Truth that has come to you, driving out the Messenger and you because you believe in Allah, your Lord? If you are committed to strive in My Way and to seek My Approval, befriend them not. Do you show them friendship in secret, when I am best Aware of what you conceal and what you reveal? And whoever among you does that, he has certainly strayed from the right way. (3:117).

Hay so miyamaratiyaya, di niyo khowaa so ridoay Akn, go ridoay niyo a manga panarigan, a isampay niyo kiran so kapakingginawai, a sabnar a inongkir iran so miyakaoma rkano a bnar, phakaawaan iran so Rasol ago skano, ka kagiya a paparatiyayaan niyo so Allah, a Kadnan iyo; o skano sa kiyaliyo niyo na panagontaman ko lalan Akn, go kaploba ko kasosoat Akn; pphagmaan iyo a gii niyo kiran kingginawain, a Sakn na katawang Ko so piyagma iyo go so piyayag iyo. Na sa taw a nggolawla rkano saya, na sabnar a miyapokas ko ontol a lalan.

اے ایمان والو میرے اور اپنے دشمنوں کو دوست نہ بناؤ تم انہیں خبریں پہنچاتے ہو دوستی سے حالانکہ وہ منکر ہیں اس حق کے جو تمہارے پاس آیا گھر سے جدا کرتے ہیں رسول کو اور تمہیں اس پر کہ تم اپنے رب پر ایمان لائے، اگر تم نکلے ہو میری راہ میں جہاد کرنے اور میری رضا چاہنے کو تو ان سے دوستی نہ کرو تم انہیں خفیہ پیامِ محبت بھیجتے ہو، اور میں خوب جانتا ہوں جو تم چھپاؤ اور جو ظاہر کرو، اور تم میں جو ایسا کرے بیشک وہ سیدھی راہ سے بہکا،

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو نہ بناؤ میرے دشمنوں کو اور پانے دشمنوں کو دوست، پینگیں بڑھاتے ہو تم ان کے ساتھ دوستی کی حالانکہ وہ انکار کر چکے ہیں ماننے سے اس کو جو آیا ہے تمھارے پاس حق میں سے، جَلا وطن کرتے ہیں وہ رسول کو اور تمہیں اس بنا پر کہ تم ایمان لائے ہو اللہ پر جو تمھارا رب ہے۔ (نہ بناؤ دوست ان کو) اگر نکلے ہو تم جہاد کے لیے میرے راستے میں اور تمھارا مقصد میری رضاجوئی ہے (تمھیں یہ زیب نہیں دیتا) کہ چھپا کر بھیجتے ہو تم انھیں دوستی کا پیغام حالانکہ میں خوب جانتا ہوں وہ بھی جو تم چھپا کر کرتے ہو اور وہ بھی جو تم علانیہ کرتے ہو۔ اور جو شخص کرے گا ایسا کام تم میں سے تو وہ بھٹک گیا سیدھے راستے سے۔

مومنو! اگر تم میری راہ میں لڑنے اور میری خوشنودی طلب کرنے کے لئے (مکے سے) نکلے ہو تو میرے اور اپنے دشمنوں کو دوست نہ بناؤ۔ تم تو ان کو دوستی کے پیغام بھیجتے ہو اور وہ (دین) حق سے جو تمہارے پاس آیا ہے منکر ہیں۔ اور اس باعث سے کہ تم اپنے پروردگار خدا تعالیٰ پر ایمان لائے ہو پیغمبر کو اور تم کو جلاوطن کرتے ہیں۔ تم ان کی طرف پوشیدہ پوشیدہ دوستی کے پیغام بھیجتے ہو۔ اور جو کچھ تم مخفی طور پر اور جو علیٰ الاعلان کرتے ہو وہ مجھے معلوم ہے۔ اور جو کوئی تم میں سے ایسا کرے گا وہ سیدھے راستے سے بھٹک گیا
