| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[26:20] | Qala faAAaltuha ithanwaana mina alddalleena
|  قال فعلتها إذا وأنا من الضالين
قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَا إِذًا وَأَنَا مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ |
| Words | |قال - He said,| فعلتها - "I did it| إذا - when| وأنا - I| من - (was) of| الضالين - those who are astray.| |

| (ሙሳም) አለ «ያን ጊዜ እኔም ከተሳሳቱት ኾኜ ሠራኋት፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال } موسى { فعلتها إذاً } أي حينئذ { وأنا من الضالين } عما آتاني الله بعدها من العلم والرسالة . |
| Inna: "xedme$ t asmi lli$ seg im$eôôqen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | মূসা বলল, আমি সে অপরাধ তখন করেছি, যখন আমি ভ্রান্ত ছিলাম। |
| Literal | He said: "I made/did it then, and (while) I am from the misguided." |
| Yusuf Ali | Moses said: "I did it then, when I was in error. |
| Pickthal | He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. |
| Arberry | Said he, 'Indeed I did it then, being one of those that stray; |
