| 1 [2:41] | Waaminoo bima anzaltu musaddiqanlima maAAakum wala takoonoo awwala kafirinbihi wala tashtaroo bi-ayatee thamananqaleelan wa-iyyaya faittaqooni |  وآمنوا بما أنزلت مصدقا لما معكم ولا تكونوا أول كافر به ولا تشتروا بآياتي ثمنا قليلا وإياي فاتقونوَآمِنُواْ بِمَا أَنزَلْتُ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ وَلاَ تَكُونُواْ أَوَّلَ كَافِرٍ بِهِ وَلاَ تَشْتَرُواْ بِآيَاتِي ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً وَّإِيَّايَ فَاتَّقُونِ | |||||
| Words | |وآمنوا - And believe| بما - in what| أنزلت - I have sent down| مصدقا - confirming| لما - that which| معكم - (is) with you,| ولا - and (do) not| تكونوا - be| أول - (the) first| كافر - disbeliever| به - of it.| ولا - And (do) not| تشتروا - exchange| بآياتي - My Signs (for)| ثمنا - a price| قليلا - small,| وإياي - and Me Alone| فاتقون - fear [Me].| | ||||||
| 2 [2:66] | FajaAAalnaha nakalanlima bayna yadayha wama khalfahawamawAAithatan lilmuttaqeena | فجعلناها نكالا لما بين يديها وما خلفها وموعظة للمتقين فَجَعَلْنَاهَا نَكَالاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فجعلناها - So We made it| نكالا - a deterrent punishment| لما - for those| بين - (in) front| يديها - (of) them| وما - and those| خلفها - after them| وموعظة - and an admonition| للمتقين - for those who fear (Allah).| | ||||||
| 3 [2:74] | Thumma qasat quloobukum min baAAdi thalikafahiya kaalhijarati aw ashaddu qaswatanwa-inna mina alhijarati lama yatafajjaruminhu al-anharu wa-inna minha lamayashshaqqaqu fayakhruju minhu almao wa-inna minhalama yahbitu min khashyati Allahi wamaAllahu bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona | ثم قست قلوبكم من بعد ذلك فهي كالحجارة أو أشد قسوة وإن من الحجارة لما يتفجر منه الأنهار وإن منها لما يشقق فيخرج منه الماء وإن منها لما يهبط من خشية الله وما الله بغافل عما تعملون ثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوبُكُم مِّنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَهِيَ كَالْحِجَارَةِ أَوْ أَشَدُّ قَسْوَةً وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ الأَنْهَارُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ الْمَاءُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللّهِ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| قست - hardened| قلوبكم - your hearts| من - from| بعد - after| ذلك - that| فهي - so they| كالحجارة - (became) like [the] stones| أو - or| أشد - stronger| قسوة - (in) hardness.| وإن - And indeed,| من - from| الحجارة - the stones| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يتفجر - gush forth| منه - from it| الأنهار - [the] rivers,| وإن - and indeed,| منها - from them| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يشقق - split,| فيخرج - so comes out| منه - from it| الماء - [the] water,| وإن - and indeed,| منها - from them| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يهبط - fall down| من - from| خشية - fear| الله - (of) Allah.| وما - And not| الله - (is) Allah| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:89] | Walamma jaahum kitabunmin AAindi Allahi musaddiqun lima maAAahumwakanoo min qablu yastaftihoona AAala allatheenakafaroo falamma jaahum ma AAarafoo kafaroobihi falaAAnatu Allahi AAala alkafireena | ولما جاءهم كتاب من عند الله مصدق لما معهم وكانوا من قبل يستفتحون على الذين كفروا فلما جاءهم ما عرفوا كفروا به فلعنة الله على الكافرين وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ كِتَابٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللّهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ وَكَانُواْ مِن قَبْلُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ مَّا عَرَفُواْ كَفَرُواْ بِهِ فَلَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جاءهم - came to them| كتاب - a Book| من - of| عند - from| الله - Allah| مصدق - confirming| لما - what (was)| معهم - with them,| وكانوا - though they used to| من - from| قبل - before| يستفتحون - (that), pray for victory| على - over| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved -| فلما - then when| جاءهم - came to them| ما - what| عرفوا - they recognized,| كفروا - they disbelieved| به - in it.| فلعنة - So (the) curse| الله - (of) Allah| على - (is) on| الكافرين - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:91] | Wa-itha qeela lahum aminoo bimaanzala Allahu qaloo nu/minu bima onzilaAAalayna wayakfuroona bima waraahu wahuwa alhaqqumusaddiqan lima maAAahum qul falima taqtuloonaanbiyaa Allahi min qablu in kuntum mu/mineena | وإذا قيل لهم آمنوا بما أنزل الله قالوا نؤمن بما أنزل علينا ويكفرون بما وراءه وهو الحق مصدقا لما معهم قل فلم تقتلون أنبياء الله من قبل إن كنتم مؤمنين وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُواْ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ قَالُواْ نُؤْمِنُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَيَكْفُرُوْنَ بِمَا وَرَاءَهُ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ قُلْ فَلِمَ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنْبِيَاءَ اللّهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| آمنوا - "Believe| بما - in what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah,"| قالوا - they say,| نؤمن - "We believe| بما - in what| أنزل - was revealed| علينا - to us."| ويكفرون - And they disbelieve| بما - in what| وراءه - (is) besides it,| وهو - while it| الحق - (is) the truth| مصدقا - confirming| لما - what| معهم - (is) with them.| قل - Say,| فلم - "Then why| تقتلون - (did) you kill| أنبياء - (the) Prophets| الله - (of) Allah| من - from| قبل - before,| إن - if| كنتم - you were| مؤمنين - believers?"| | ||||||
| 6 [2:97] | Qul man kana AAaduwwan lijibreelafa-innahu nazzalahu AAala qalbika bi-ithni Allahimusaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi wahudan wabushralilmu/mineena | قل من كان عدوا لجبريل فإنه نزله على قلبك بإذن الله مصدقا لما بين يديه وهدى وبشرى للمؤمنين قُلْ مَنْ كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّجِبْرِيلَ فَإِنَّهُ نَزَّلَهُ عَلَى قَلْبِكَ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَهُدًى وَبُشْرَى لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||

| 7 [2:101] | Walamma jaahum rasoolun minAAindi Allahi musaddiqun lima maAAahum nabathafareequn mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba kitabaAllahi waraa thuhoorihim kaannahum layaAAlamoona | ولما جاءهم رسول من عند الله مصدق لما معهم نبذ فريق من الذين أوتوا الكتاب كتاب الله وراء ظهورهم كأنهم لا يعلمون وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللّهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ كِتَابَ اللّهِ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||

| 8 [2:213] | Kana alnnasu ommatan wahidatanfabaAAatha Allahu alnnabiyyeena mubashshireenawamunthireena waanzala maAAahumu alkitaba bialhaqqiliyahkuma bayna alnnasi feemaikhtalafoo feehi wama ikhtalafa feehi illa allatheenaootoohu min baAAdi ma jaat-humu albayyinatubaghyan baynahum fahada Allahu allatheena amanoolima ikhtalafoo feehi mina alhaqqi bi-ithnihiwaAllahu yahdee man yashao ila siratinmustaqeemin | كان الناس أمة واحدة فبعث الله النبيين مبشرين ومنذرين وأنزل معهم الكتاب بالحق ليحكم بين الناس فيما اختلفوا فيه وما اختلف فيه إلا الذين أوتوه من بعد ما جاءتهم البينات بغيا بينهم فهدى الله الذين آمنوا لما اختلفوا فيه من الحق بإذنه والله يهدي من يشاء إلى صراط مستقيم كَانَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَبَعَثَ اللّهُ النَّبِيِّينَ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فِيمَا اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ فِيهِ إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوهُ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ فَهَدَى اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لِمَا اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِهِ وَاللّهُ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |كان - Was| الناس - mankind| أمة - a community| واحدة - single,| فبعث - then raised up| الله - Allah| النبيين - [the] Prophets| مبشرين - (as) bearers of glad tidings| ومنذرين - and (as) warners,| وأنزل - and sent down| معهم - with them| الكتاب - the Book| بالحق - in [the] truth| ليحكم - to judge| بين - between| الناس - [the] people| فيما - in what| اختلفوا - they differed| فيه - [in it].| وما - And (did) not| اختلف - differ[ed]| فيه - in it| إلا - except| الذين - those who| أوتوه - were given it| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| جاءتهم - came to them| البينات - the clear proofs,| بغيا - (out of) jealousy| بينهم - among themselves.| فهدى - And guided| الله - Allah| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe[d]| لما - regarding what| اختلفوا - they differed| فيه - [in it]| من - of| الحق - the Truth| بإذنه - with His permission.| والله - And Allah| يهدي - guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| إلى - to| صراط - a path| مستقيم - straight.| | ||||||
| 9 [3:3] | Nazzala AAalayka alkitaba bialhaqqimusaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi waanzala alttawratawaal-injeela | نزل عليك الكتاب بالحق مصدقا لما بين يديه وأنزل التوراة والإنجيل نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَأَنزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنجِيلَ | |||||

| 10 [3:50] | Wamusaddiqan lima baynayadayya mina alttawrati wali-ohilla lakumbaAAda allathee hurrima AAalaykum waji/tukumbi-ayatin min rabbikum faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni | ومصدقا لما بين يدي من التوراة ولأحل لكم بعض الذي حرم عليكم وجئتكم بآية من ربكم فاتقوا الله وأطيعون وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَجِئْتُكُم بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ | |||||

| 11 [3:81] | Wa-ith akhatha Allahumeethaqa alnnabiyyeena lama ataytukummin kitabin wahikmatin thumma jaakumrasoolun musaddiqun lima maAAakum latu/minunna bihiwalatansurunnahu qala aaqrartum waakhathtumAAala thalikum isree qaloo aqrarnaqala faishhadoo waana maAAakum mina alshshahideena | وإذ أخذ الله ميثاق النبيين لما آتيتكم من كتاب وحكمة ثم جاءكم رسول مصدق لما معكم لتؤمنن به ولتنصرنه قال أأقررتم وأخذتم على ذلكم إصري قالوا أقررنا قال فاشهدوا وأنا معكم من الشاهدين وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللّهُ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ لَمَا آتَيْتُكُم مِّن كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُ قَالَ أَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكُمْ إِصْرِي قَالُواْ أَقْرَرْنَا قَالَ فَاشْهَدُواْ وَأَنَاْ مَعَكُم مِّنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ | |||||

| 12 [3:146] | Wakaayyin min nabiyyin qatalamaAAahu ribbiyyoona katheerun fama wahanoo lima asabahumfee sabeeli Allahi wama daAAufoo wamaistakanoo waAllahu yuhibbu alssabireena | وكأين من نبي قاتل معه ربيون كثير فما وهنوا لما أصابهم في سبيل الله وما ضعفوا وما استكانوا والله يحب الصابرين وَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُواْ لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُواْ وَمَا اسْتَكَانُواْ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - from| نبي - a Prophet| قاتل - fought;| معه - with him| ربيون - (were) religious scholars| كثير - many.| فما - But not| وهنوا - they lost heart| لما - for what| أصابهم - befell them| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| وما - and not| ضعفوا - they weakened| وما - and not| استكانوا - they gave in.| والله - And Allah| يحب - loves| الصابرين - the patient ones.| | ||||||
| 13 [4:47] | Ya ayyuha allatheenaootoo alkitaba aminoo bima nazzalnamusaddiqan lima maAAakum min qabli an natmisawujoohan fanaruddaha AAala adbarihaaw nalAAanahum kama laAAanna as-habaalssabti wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan | يا أيها الذين أوتوا الكتاب آمنوا بما نزلنا مصدقا لما معكم من قبل أن نطمس وجوها فنردها على أدبارها أو نلعنهم كما لعنا أصحاب السبت وكان أمر الله مفعولا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ آمِنُواْ بِمَا نَزَّلْنَا مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا مَعَكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن نَّطْمِسَ وُجُوهًا فَنَرُدَّهَا عَلَى أَدْبَارِهَا أَوْ نَلْعَنَهُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَّا أَصْحَابَ السَّبْتِ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللّهِ مَفْعُولاً | |||||

| 14 [5:46] | Waqaffayna AAala atharihimbiAAeesa ibni maryama musaddiqan lima baynayadayhi mina alttawrati waataynahual-injeela feehi hudan wanoorun wamusaddiqan limabayna yadayhi mina alttawrati wahudan wamawAAithatanlilmuttaqeena | وقفينا على آثارهم بعيسى ابن مريم مصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة وآتيناه الإنجيل فيه هدى ونور ومصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة وهدى وموعظة للمتقين وَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِم بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدًى وَنُورٌ وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||

| 15 [5:48] | Waanzalna ilayka alkitaba bialhaqqimusaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi mina alkitabiwamuhayminan AAalayhi faohkum baynahum bimaanzala Allahu wala tattabiAA ahwaahum AAammajaaka mina alhaqqi likullin jaAAalna minkumshirAAatan waminhajan walaw shaa AllahulajaAAalakum ommatan wahidatan walakin liyabluwakumfeema atakum faistabiqoo alkhayratiila Allahi marjiAAukum jameeAAan fayunabbi-okum bimakuntum feehi takhtalifoona | وأنزلنا إليك الكتاب بالحق مصدقا لما بين يديه من الكتاب ومهيمنا عليه فاحكم بينهم بما أنزل الله ولا تتبع أهواءهم عما جاءك من الحق لكل جعلنا منكم شرعة ومنهاجا ولو شاء الله لجعلكم أمة واحدة ولكن ليبلوكم في ما آتاكم فاستبقوا الخيرات إلى الله مرجعكم جميعا فينبئكم بما كنتم فيه تختلفون وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَـكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَآ آتَاكُم فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ إِلَى اللهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأنزلنا - And We revealed| إليك - to you| الكتاب - the Book| بالحق - in [the] truth,| مصدقا - confirming| لما - what| بين - (was) before| يديه - his hands| من - of| الكتاب - the Book| ومهيمنا - and a guardian| عليه - over it.| فاحكم - So judge| بينهم - between them| بما - by what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah| ولا - and (do) not| تتبع - follow| أهواءهم - their vain desires| عما - when| جاءك - has come to you| من - of| الحق - the truth.| لكل - For each| جعلنا - We have made| منكم - for you| شرعة - a law| ومنهاجا - and a clear way.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| لجعلكم - He (would have) made you| أمة - a community,| واحدة - one,| ولكن - [and] but| ليبلوكم - to test you| في - in| ما - what| آتاكم - He (has) given you,| فاستبقوا - so race| الخيرات - (to) the good.| إلى - To| الله - Allah| مرجعكم - you will return,| جميعا - all,| فينبئكم - then He will inform you| بما - of what| كنتم - you were| فيه - concerning it| تختلفون - differing.| | ||||||
| 16 [6:5] | Faqad kaththaboo bialhaqqilamma jaahum fasawfa ya/teehim anbao makanoo bihi yastahzi-oona | فقد كذبوا بالحق لما جاءهم فسوف يأتيهم أنباء ما كانوا به يستهزئون فَقَدْ كَذَّبُواْ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاءُ مَا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فقد - Then indeed,| كذبوا - they denied| بالحق - the truth| لما - when| جاءهم - it came to them,| فسوف - but soon| يأتيهم - will come to them| أنباء - news| ما - (of) what| كانوا - they used to| به - [at it]| يستهزئون - mock.| | ||||||
| 17 [6:28] | Bal bada lahum ma kanooyukhfoona min qablu walaw ruddoo laAAadoo limanuhoo AAanhu wa-innahum lakathiboona | بل بدا لهم ما كانوا يخفون من قبل ولو ردوا لعادوا لما نهوا عنه وإنهم لكاذبون بَلْ بَدَا لَهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يُخْفُونَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَوْ رُدُّواْ لَعَادُواْ لِمَا نُهُواْ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |بل - Nay,| بدا - became manifest| لهم - for them| ما - what| كانوا - they used to| يخفون - conceal| من - from| قبل - before.| ولو - And if| ردوا - they were sent back| لعادوا - certainly they (would) return| لما - to what| نهوا - they were forbidden| عنه - from it,| وإنهم - and indeed they| لكاذبون - certainly are liars.| | ||||||
| 18 [7:126] | Wama tanqimu minna illaan amanna bi-ayati rabbinalamma jaatna rabbana afrigh AAalaynasabran watawaffana muslimeena | وما تنقم منا إلا أن آمنا بآيات ربنا لما جاءتنا ربنا أفرغ علينا صبرا وتوفنا مسلمين وَمَا تَنقِمُ مِنَّا إِلاَّ أَنْ آمَنَّا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَاءَتْنَا رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| تنقم - you take revenge| منا - from us| إلا - except| أن - that| آمنا - we believed| بآيات - in (the) Signs| ربنا - (of) our Lord| لما - when| جاءتنا - they came to us.| ربنا - Our Lord!| أفرغ - Pour| علينا - upon us| صبرا - patience| وتوفنا - and cause us to die| مسلمين - (as) Muslims."| | ||||||
| 19 [8:24] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooistajeeboo lillahi walilrrasooli itha daAAakumlima yuhyeekum waiAAlamoo anna Allahayahoolu bayna almar-i waqalbihi waannahu ilayhi tuhsharoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا استجيبوا لله وللرسول إذا دعاكم لما يحييكم واعلموا أن الله يحول بين المرء وقلبه وأنه إليه تحشرون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اسْتَجِيبُواْ لِلّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُم لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ | |||||

| 20 [10:13] | Walaqad ahlakna alquroona minqablikum lamma thalamoo wajaat-humrusuluhum bialbayyinati wama kanooliyu/minoo kathalika najzee alqawma almujrimeena | ولقد أهلكنا القرون من قبلكم لما ظلموا وجاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات وما كانوا ليؤمنوا كذلك نجزي القوم المجرمين وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا الْقُرُونَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْ وَجَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily| أهلكنا - We destroyed| القرون - the generations| من - before you| قبلكم - before you| لما - when| ظلموا - they wronged,| وجاءتهم - and came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs,| وما - but not| كانوا - they were| ليؤمنوا - to believe.| كذلك - Thus| نجزي - We recompense| القوم - the people| المجرمين - (who are) criminals.| | ||||||
