| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:126] | Wama tanqimu minna illaan amanna bi-ayati rabbinalamma jaatna rabbana afrigh AAalaynasabran watawaffana muslimeena
|  وما تنقم منا إلا أن آمنا بآيات ربنا لما جاءتنا ربنا أفرغ علينا صبرا وتوفنا مسلمين
وَمَا تَنقِمُ مِنَّا إِلاَّ أَنْ آمَنَّا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَاءَتْنَا رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ |
| Words | |وما - And not| تنقم - you take revenge| منا - from us| إلا - except| أن - that| آمنا - we believed| بآيات - in (the) Signs| ربنا - (of) our Lord| لما - when| جاءتنا - they came to us.| ربنا - Our Lord!| أفرغ - Pour| علينا - upon us| صبرا - patience| وتوفنا - and cause us to die| مسلمين - (as) Muslims."| |

| «የጌታችንም ተዓምራቶች በመጡልን ጊዜ ከማመናችን በቀር ከእኛ አትጠላም፡፡ ጌታችን ሆይ! በእኛ ላይ ትዕግስትን አፍስስ፡፡ ሙስሊሞች ኾነን ግደለን፡፡» |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | বস্তুতঃ আমাদের সাথে তোমার শত্রুতা তো এ কারণেই যে, আমরা ঈমান এনেছি আমাদের পরওয়ারদেগারের নিদর্শনসমূহের প্রতি যখন তা আমাদের নিকট পৌঁছেছে। হে আমাদের পরওয়ারদেগার আমাদের জন্য ধৈর্য্যের দ্বার খুলে দাও এবং আমাদেরকে মুসলমান হিসাবে মৃত্যু দান কর। |
