| 1 [6:66] | Wakaththaba bihi qawmuka wahuwa alhaqququl lastu AAalaykum biwakeelin |  وكذب به قومك وهو الحق قل لست عليكم بوكيلوَكَذَّبَ بِهِ قَوْمُكَ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ قُل لَّسْتُ عَلَيْكُم بِوَكِيلٍ | |||||
| Words | |وكذب - But denied| به - it -| قومك - your people| وهو - while it| الحق - (is) the truth.| قل - Say,| لست - "I am not| عليكم - over you| بوكيل - a manager."| | ||||||
| 2 [7:145] | Wakatabna lahu fee al-alwahimin kulli shay-in mawAAithatan watafseelanlikulli shay-in fakhuthha biquwwatin wa/mur qawmakaya/khuthoo bi-ahsaniha saoreekum daraalfasiqeena | وكتبنا له في الألواح من كل شيء موعظة وتفصيلا لكل شيء فخذها بقوة وأمر قومك يأخذوا بأحسنها سأريكم دار الفاسقين وَكَتَبْنَا لَهُ فِي الْأَلْوَاحِ مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْعِظَةً وَتَفْصِيلاً لِّكُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَخُذْهَا بِقُوَّةٍ وَأْمُرْ قَوْمَكَ يَأْخُذُواْ بِأَحْسَنِهَا سَأُوْرِيكُمْ دَارَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وكتبنا - And We ordained (laws)| له - for him| في - in| الألواح - the tablets -| من - of| كل - every| شيء - thing,| موعظة - an instruction| وتفصيلا - and explanation| لكل - for every| شيء - thing,| فخذها - "So take them| بقوة - with firmness| وأمر - and order| قومك - your people| يأخذوا - (to) take| بأحسنها - (the) best of it.| سأريكم - I will show you| دار - (the) home| الفاسقين - (of) the defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 3 [11:36] | Waoohiya ila noohinannahu lan yu/mina min qawmika illa man qad amanafala tabta-is bima kanoo yafAAaloona | وأوحي إلى نوح أنه لن يؤمن من قومك إلا من قد آمن فلا تبتئس بما كانوا يفعلون وَأُوحِيَ إِلَى نُوحٍ أَنَّهُ لَن يُؤْمِنَ مِن قَوْمِكَ إِلاَّ مَن قَدْ آمَنَ فَلاَ تَبْتَئِسْ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأوحي - And it was revealed| إلى - to| نوح - Nuh,| أنه - "That| لن - will never| يؤمن - believe| من - from| قومك - your people| إلا - except| من - (those) who| قد - have already| آمن - believed.| فلا - So (do) not| تبتئس - (be) distressed| بما - by what| كانوا - they have been| يفعلون - doing.| | ||||||
| 4 [11:49] | Tilka min anba-i alghaybi nooheehailayka ma kunta taAAlamuha anta wala qawmukamin qabli hatha faisbir inna alAAaqibatalilmuttaqeena | تلك من أنباء الغيب نوحيها إليك ما كنت تعلمها أنت ولا قومك من قبل هذا فاصبر إن العاقبة للمتقين تِلْكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهَا إِلَيْكَ مَا كُنتَ تَعْلَمُهَا أَنتَ وَلاَ قَوْمُكَ مِن قَبْلِ هَـذَا فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ الْعَاقِبَةَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |تلك - This| من - (is) from| أنباء - the news| الغيب - (of) the unseen,| نوحيها - (which) We reveal| إليك - to you.| ما - Not| كنت - you were| تعلمها - knowing it,| أنت - you| ولا - and not| قومك - your people| من - from| قبل - before| هذا - this.| فاصبر - So be patient;| إن - indeed,| العاقبة - the end| للمتقين - (is) for the God fearing."| | ||||||
| 5 [14:5] | Walaqad arsalna moosa bi-ayatinaan akhrij qawmaka mina alththulumatiila alnnoori wathakkirhum bi-ayyamiAllahi inna fee thalika laayatinlikulli sabbarin shakoorin | ولقد أرسلنا موسى بآياتنا أن أخرج قومك من الظلمات إلى النور وذكرهم بأيام الله إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكور وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَى بِآيَاتِنَا أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُمْ بِأَيَّامِ اللّهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily| أرسلنا - We sent| موسى - Musa| بآياتنا - with Our Signs,| أن - that| أخرج - "Bring out| قومك - your people| من - from| الظلمات - the darkness[es]| إلى - to| النور - the light.| وذكرهم - And remind them| بأيام - of the days| الله - (of) Allah."| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) the signs| لكل - for everyone| صبار - patient| شكور - and thankful.| | ||||||
| 6 [20:83] | Wama aAAjalaka AAan qawmika yamoosa | وما أعجلك عن قومك يا موسى وَمَا أَعْجَلَكَ عَن قَوْمِكَ يَا مُوسَى | |||||
| Words | |وما - "And what| أعجلك - made you hasten| عن - from| قومك - your people,| يا - O| موسى - O Musa?"| | ||||||
| 7 [20:85] | Qala fa-inna qad fatannaqawmaka min baAAdika waadallahumu alssamiriyyu | قال فإنا قد فتنا قومك من بعدك وأضلهم السامري قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدْ فَتَنَّا قَوْمَكَ مِن بَعْدِكَ وَأَضَلَّهُمُ السَّامِرِيُّ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| فإنا - "But indeed, We| قد - [verily]| فتنا - We (have) tried| قومك - your people| من - after you| بعدك - after you| وأضلهم - and has led them astray| السامري - the Samiri."| | ||||||
| 8 [43:57] | Walamma duriba ibnu maryamamathalan itha qawmuka minhu yasiddoona | ولما ضرب ابن مريم مثلا إذا قومك منه يصدون وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ يَصِدُّونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| ضرب - is presented,| ابن - (the) son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| مثلا - (as) an example| إذا - behold!| قومك - Your people| منه - about it| يصدون - laughed aloud.| | ||||||
| 9 [71:1] | Inna arsalna noohan ilaqawmihi an anthir qawmaka min qabli an ya/tiyahum AAathabunaleemun | إنا أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه أن أنذر قومك من قبل أن يأتيهم عذاب أليم إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ أَنْ أَنذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
