| 1 [5:91] | Innama yureedu alshshaytanuan yooqiAAa baynakumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaafee alkhamri waalmaysiri wayasuddakum AAan thikriAllahi waAAani alssalati fahal antummuntahoona |  إنما يريد الشيطان أن يوقع بينكم العداوة والبغضاء في الخمر والميسر ويصدكم عن ذكر الله وعن الصلاة فهل أنتم منتهونإِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ اللّهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلاَةِ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّنتَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| يريد - intends| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أن - to| يوقع - cause| بينكم - between you| العداوة - [the] enmity| والبغضاء - and [the] hatred| في - through| الخمر - intoxicants| والميسر - and gambling,| ويصدكم - and hinders you| عن - from| ذكر - (the) remembrance| الله - (of) Allah| وعن - and from| الصلاة - the prayer.| فهل - So will| أنتم - you| منتهون - (be) the ones who abstain?| | ||||||
| 2 [7:44] | Wanada as-habualjannati as-haba alnnari an qadwajadna ma waAAadana rabbuna haqqanfahal wajadtum ma waAAada rabbukum haqqan qaloonaAAam faaththana mu-aththinun baynahum an laAAnatuAllahi AAala alththalimeena | ونادى أصحاب الجنة أصحاب النار أن قد وجدنا ما وعدنا ربنا حقا فهل وجدتم ما وعد ربكم حقا قالوا نعم فأذن مؤذن بينهم أن لعنة الله على الظالمين وَنَادَى أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ أَن قَدْ وَجَدْنَا مَا وَعَدَنَا رَبُّنَا حَقًّا فَهَلْ وَجَدتُّم مَّا وَعَدَ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّا قَالُواْ نَعَمْ فَأَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ بَيْنَهُمْ أَن لَّعْنَةُ اللّهِ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ونادى - And will call out| أصحاب - (the) companions| الجنة - (of) Paradise| أصحاب - (to the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire| أن - that,| قد - "Indeed,| وجدنا - we found| ما - what| وعدنا - (had) promised us| ربنا - our Lord| حقا - true.| فهل - So have| وجدتم - you found| ما - what| وعد - (was) promised| ربكم - (by) your Lord| حقا - (to be) true?"| قالوا - They will say,| نعم - "Yes."| فأذن - Then will announce| مؤذن - an announcer| بينهم - among them,| أن - [that]| لعنة - "(The) curse| الله - (of) Allah| على - (is) on| الظالمين - the wrongdoers,| | ||||||
| 3 [7:53] | Hal yanthuroona illata/weelahu yawma ya/tee ta/weeluhu yaqoolu allatheenanasoohu min qablu qad jaat rusulu rabbina bialhaqqifahal lana min shufaAAaa fayashfaAAoo lanaaw nuraddu fanaAAmala ghayra allathee kunnanaAAmalu qad khasiroo anfusahum wadalla AAanhum makanoo yaftaroona | هل ينظرون إلا تأويله يوم يأتي تأويله يقول الذين نسوه من قبل قد جاءت رسل ربنا بالحق فهل لنا من شفعاء فيشفعوا لنا أو نرد فنعمل غير الذي كنا نعمل قد خسروا أنفسهم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ تَأْوِيلَهُ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي تَأْوِيلُهُ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ فَهَل لَّنَا مِن شُفَعَاءَ فَيَشْفَعُواْ لَنَا أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَنَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ قَدْ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هل - Do| ينظرون - they wait| إلا - except| تأويله - (for) its fulfillment| يوم - (The) Day| يأتي - (will) come| تأويله - its fulfillment,| يقول - will say| الذين - those who| نسوه - had forgotten it| من - from| قبل - before,| قد - "Verily| جاءت - had come| رسل - (the) Messengers| ربنا - (of) our Lord| بالحق - with the truth,| فهل - so are (there)| لنا - for us| من - any| شفعاء - intercessors| فيشفعوا - so (that) they intercede| لنا - for us| أو - or| نرد - we are sent back| فنعمل - so (that) we do (deeds)| غير - other than| الذي - that which| كنا - we used to| نعمل - do."| قد - Verily,| خسروا - they lost| أنفسهم - themselves,| وضل - and strayed| عنهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used to| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 4 [10:102] | Fahal yantathiroona illamithla ayyami allatheena khalaw min qablihim qul faintathirooinnee maAAakum mina almuntathireena | فهل ينتظرون إلا مثل أيام الذين خلوا من قبلهم قل فانتظروا إني معكم من المنتظرين فَهَلْ يَنتَظِرُونَ إِلاَّ مِثْلَ أَيَّامِ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قُلْ فَانتَظِرُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فهل - Then do| ينتظرون - they wait| إلا - except| مثل - like| أيام - the days| الذين - (of) those who| خلوا - passed away| من - before them?| قبلهم - before them?| قل - Say,| فانتظروا - "Then wait| إني - indeed, I (am)| معكم - with you| من - among| المنتظرين - the ones who wait."| | ||||||
| 5 [11:14] | Fa-illam yastajeeboo lakum faiAAlamooannama onzila biAAilmi Allahi waan la ilahailla huwa fahal antum muslimoona | فإلم يستجيبوا لكم فاعلموا أنما أنزل بعلم الله وأن لا إله إلا هو فهل أنتم مسلمون فَإِن لَّمْ يَسْتَجِيبُواْ لَكُمْ فَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّمَا أُنزِلَ بِعِلْمِ اللّهِ وَأَن لاَّ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فإلم - Then if not| يستجيبوا - they respond| لكم - to you| فاعلموا - then know| أنما - that| أنزل - it was sent down| بعلم - with the knowledge of Allah,| الله - with the knowledge of Allah,| وأن - and that| لا - (there is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| هو - Him.| فهل - Then, would| أنتم - you| مسلمون - (be) Muslims?| | ||||||
| 6 [14:21] | Wabarazoo lillahi jameeAAan faqalaaldduAAafao lillatheena istakbarooinna kunna lakum tabaAAan fahal antum mughnoonaAAanna min AAathabi Allahi min shay-in qaloolaw hadana Allahu lahadaynakum sawaonAAalayna ajaziAAna am sabarna malana min maheesin | وبرزوا لله جميعا فقال الضعفاء للذين استكبروا إنا كنا لكم تبعا فهل أنتم مغنون عنا من عذاب الله من شيء قالوا لو هدانا الله لهديناكم سواء علينا أجزعنا أم صبرنا ما لنا من محيص وَبَرَزُواْ لِلّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ قَالُواْ لَوْ هَدَانَا اللّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ | |||||
| Words | |وبرزوا - And they will come forth| لله - before Allah| جميعا - all together,| فقال - then will say| الضعفاء - the weak| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| إنا - "Indeed we,| كنا - we were| لكم - your| تبعا - followers,| فهل - so can| أنتم - you (be)| مغنون - the one who avails| عنا - us| من - from| عذاب - (the) punishment| الله - (of) Allah| من - anything?"| شيء - anything?"| قالوا - They will say,| لو - "If| هدانا - Allah had guided us| الله - Allah had guided us| لهديناكم - surely we would have guided you.| سواء - (It is) same| علينا - for us| أجزعنا - whether we show intolerance| أم - or| صبرنا - we are patient,| ما - not| لنا - (is) for us| من - any| محيص - place of escape."| | ||||||
| 7 [16:35] | Waqala allatheena ashrakoo lawshaa Allahu ma AAabadna min doonihimin shay-in nahnu wala abaonawala harramna min doonihi min shay-in kathalikafaAAala allatheena min qablihim fahal AAala alrrusuliilla albalaghu almubeenu | وقال الذين أشركوا لو شاء الله ما عبدنا من دونه من شيء نحن ولا آباؤنا ولا حرمنا من دونه من شيء كذلك فعل الذين من قبلهم فهل على الرسل إلا البلاغ المبين وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ لَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ مَا عَبَدْنَا مِن دُونِهِ مِن شَيْءٍ نَّحْنُ وَلاَ آبَاؤُنَا وَلاَ حَرَّمْنَا مِن دُونِهِ مِن شَيْءٍ كَذَلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَهَلْ عَلَى الرُّسُلِ إِلاَّ الْبَلاغُ الْمُبِينُ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الذين - those who| أشركوا - associate partners (with Allah),| لو - "If| شاء - Allah (had) willed| الله - Allah (had) willed| ما - not| عبدنا - we (would) have worshipped| من - other than Him| دونه - other than Him| من - any| شيء - thing,| نحن - we| ولا - and not| آباؤنا - our forefathers| ولا - and not| حرمنا - we (would) have forbidden| من - other than Him| دونه - other than Him| من - anything."| شيء - anything."| كذلك - Thus| فعل - did| الذين - those who| من - (were) before them.| قبلهم - (were) before them.| فهل - Then is (there)| على - on| الرسل - the messengers| إلا - except| البلاغ - the conveyance| المبين - clear?| | ||||||
| 8 [18:94] | Qaloo ya tha alqarnayniinna ya/jooja wama/jooja mufsidoona fee al-ardi fahalnajAAalu laka kharjan AAala an tajAAala baynanawabaynahum saddan | قالوا يا ذا القرنين إن يأجوج ومأجوج مفسدون في الأرض فهل نجعل لك خرجا على أن تجعل بيننا وبينهم سدا قَالُوا يَا ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ إِنَّ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَهَلْ نَجْعَلُ لَكَ خَرْجًا عَلَى أَن تَجْعَلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ سَدًّا | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| ذا - "O Dhul-qarnain!| القرنين - "O Dhul-qarnain!| إن - Indeed,| يأجوج - Yajuj| ومأجوج - and Majuj| مفسدون - (are) corrupters| في - in| الأرض - the land.| فهل - So may| نجعل - we make| لك - for you| خرجا - an expenditure| على - [on]| أن - that| تجعل - you make| بيننا - between us| وبينهم - and between them| سدا - a barrier?"| | ||||||
| 9 [21:80] | WaAAallamnahu sanAAatalaboosin lakum lituhsinakum min ba/sikum fahal antum shakiroona | وعلمناه صنعة لبوس لكم لتحصنكم من بأسكم فهل أنتم شاكرون وَعَلَّمْنَاهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوسٍ لَّكُمْ لِتُحْصِنَكُم مِّن بَأْسِكُمْ فَهَلْ أَنتُمْ شَاكِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وعلمناه - And We taught him| صنعة - (the) making| لبوس - (of) coats of armor| لكم - for you| لتحصنكم - to protect you| من - from| بأسكم - your battle.| فهل - Then will| أنتم - you| شاكرون - (be) grateful?| | ||||||
| 10 [21:108] | Qul innama yooha ilayya annamailahukum ilahun wahidun fahal antummuslimoona | قل إنما يوحى إلي أنما إلهكم إله واحد فهل أنتم مسلمون قُلْ إِنَّمَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إنما - "Only| يوحى - it is revealed| إلي - to me| أنما - that| إلهكم - your god| إله - (is) God| واحد - One;| فهل - so will| أنتم - you| مسلمون - submit (to Him)?"| | ||||||
| 11 [35:43] | Istikbaran fee al-ardi wamakraalssayyi-i wala yaheequ almakru alssayyi-oilla bi-ahlihi fahal yanthuroona illasunnata al-awwaleena falan tajida lisunnati Allahitabdeelan walan tajida lisunnati Allahi tahweelan | استكبارا في الأرض ومكر السيئ ولا يحيق المكر السيئ إلا بأهله فهل ينظرون إلا سنت الأولين فلن تجد لسنت الله تبديلا ولن تجد لسنت الله تحويلا اسْتِكْبَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |استكبارا - (Due to) arrogance| في - in| الأرض - the land| ومكر - and plotting| السيئ - (of) the evil;| ولا - but not| يحيق - encompasses| المكر - the plot| السيئ - (of) the evil| إلا - except| بأهله - its own people.| فهل - Then do| ينظرون - they wait| إلا - except| سنت - (the) way| الأولين - (of) the former (people)?| فلن - But never| تجد - you will find| لسنت - in (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| تبديلا - any change,| ولن - and never| تجد - you will find| لسنت - in (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| تحويلا - any alteration.| | ||||||
| 12 [40:11] | Qaloo rabbana amattanaithnatayni waahyaytana ithnatayni faiAAtarafnabithunoobina fahal ila khuroojin min sabeelin | قالوا ربنا أمتنا اثنتين وأحييتنا اثنتين فاعترفنا بذنوبنا فهل إلى خروج من سبيل قَالُوا رَبَّنَا أَمَتَّنَا اثْنَتَيْنِ وَأَحْيَيْتَنَا اثْنَتَيْنِ فَاعْتَرَفْنَا بِذُنُوبِنَا فَهَلْ إِلَى خُرُوجٍ مِّن سَبِيلٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They (will) say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| أمتنا - You gave us death| اثنتين - twice| وأحييتنا - and You gave us life| اثنتين - twice,| فاعترفنا - and we confess| بذنوبنا - our sins.| فهل - So is (there)| إلى - to| خروج - get out| من - any| سبيل - way?"| | ||||||
| 13 [40:47] | Wa-ith yatahajjoona fee alnnarifayaqoolu aldduAAafao lillatheenaistakbaroo inna kunna lakum tabaAAan fahal antummughnoona AAanna naseeban mina alnnari | وإذ يتحاجون في النار فيقول الضعفاء للذين استكبروا إنا كنا لكم تبعا فهل أنتم مغنون عنا نصيبا من النار وَإِذْ يَتَحَاجُّونَ فِي النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| يتحاجون - they will dispute| في - in| النار - the Fire,| فيقول - then will say| الضعفاء - the weak| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| إنا - "Indeed, we| كنا - [we] were| لكم - for you| تبعا - followers,| فهل - so can| أنتم - you| مغنون - avert| عنا - from us| نصيبا - a portion| من - of| النار - the Fire?"| | ||||||
| 14 [46:35] | Faisbir kama sabaraoloo alAAazmi mina alrrusuli wala tastaAAjil lahumkaannahum yawma yarawna ma yooAAadoona lam yalbathoo illasaAAatan min naharin balaghun fahal yuhlakuilla alqawmu alfasiqoona | فاصبر كما صبر أولو العزم من الرسل ولا تستعجل لهم كأنهم يوم يرون ما يوعدون لم يلبثوا إلا ساعة من نهار بلاغ فهل يهلك إلا القوم الفاسقون فَاصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُوْلُوا الْعَزْمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسْتَعْجِل لَّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ مَا يُوعَدُونَ لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّن نَّهَارٍ بَلَاغٌ فَهَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فاصبر - So be patient,| كما - as| صبر - had patience| أولو - those of determination| العزم - those of determination| من - of| الرسل - the Messengers,| ولا - and (do) not| تستعجل - seek to hasten| لهم - for them.| كأنهم - As if they had,| يوم - (the) Day| يرون - they see| ما - what| يوعدون - they were promised,| لم - not| يلبثوا - remained| إلا - except| ساعة - an hour| من - of| نهار - a day.| بلاغ - A notification.| فهل - But will| يهلك - (any) be destroyed| إلا - except| القوم - the people -| الفاسقون - the defiantly disobedient?| | ||||||
| 15 [47:18] | Fahal yanthuroona illaalssaAAata an ta/tiyahum baghtatan faqad jaaashratuha faanna lahum itha jaat-humthikrahum | فهل ينظرون إلا الساعة أن تأتيهم بغتة فقد جاء أشراطها فأنى لهم إذا جاءتهم ذكراهم فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً فَقَدْ جَاءَ أَشْرَاطُهَا فَأَنَّى لَهُمْ إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرَاهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |فهل - Then do| ينظرون - they wait| إلا - but| الساعة - (for) the Hour| أن - that| تأتيهم - it should come to them| بغتة - suddenly?| فقد - But indeed,| جاء - have come| أشراطها - its indications.| فأنى - Then how| لهم - to them| إذا - when| جاءتهم - has come to them| ذكراهم - their reminder.| | ||||||
| 16 [47:22] | Fahal AAasaytum in tawallaytum an tufsidoofee al-ardi watuqattiAAoo arhamakum | فهل عسيتم إن توليتم أن تفسدوا في الأرض وتقطعوا أرحامكم فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَن تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوا أَرْحَامَكُمْ | |||||
| Words | |فهل - Then would| عسيتم - you perhaps,| إن - if| توليتم - you are given authority| أن - that| تفسدوا - you cause corruption| في - in| الأرض - the earth| وتقطعوا - and cut off| أرحامكم - your ties of kinship.| | ||||||
| 17 [54:15] | Walaqad taraknaha ayatanfahal min muddakirin | ولقد تركناها آية فهل من مدكر وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَاهَا آيَةً فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| تركناها - We left it| آية - (as) a Sign,| فهل - so is (there)| من - any| مدكر - who will receive admonition?| | ||||||
| 18 [54:17] | Walaqad yassarna alqur-ana lilththikrifahal min muddakirin | ولقد يسرنا القرآن للذكر فهل من مدكر وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| يسرنا - We have made easy| القرآن - the Quran| للذكر - for remembrance,| فهل - so is (there)| من - any| مدكر - who will receive admonition?| | ||||||
| 19 [54:22] | Walaqad yassarna alqur-ana lilththikrifahal min muddakirin | ولقد يسرنا القرآن للذكر فهل من مدكر وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ | |||||
