| 3 [2:20] | Yakadu albarqu yakhtafu absarahumkullama adaa lahum mashaw feehi wa-itha athlamaAAalayhim qamoo walaw shaa Allahu lathahababisamAAihim waabsarihim inna Allaha AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun | يكاد البرق يخطف أبصارهم كلما أضاء لهم مشوا فيه وإذا أظلم عليهم قاموا ولو شاء الله لذهب بسمعهم وأبصارهم إن الله على كل شيء قدير يَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ كُلَّمَا أَضَاءَ لَهُم مَّشَوْاْ فِيهِ وَإِذَا أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُواْ وَلَوْ شَاء اللّهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّه عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |يكاد - Almost| البرق - the lightning| يخطف - snatches away| أبصارهم - their sight.| كلما - Whenever| أضاء - it flashes| لهم - for them| مشوا - they walk| فيه - in it,| وإذا - and when| أظلم - it darkens| عليهم - on them| قاموا - they stand (still).| ولو - And if| شاء - had willed| الله - Allah,| لذهب - He would certainly have taken away| بسمعهم - their hearing,| وأبصارهم - and their sight.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:38] | Qulna ihbitoo minhajameeAAan fa-imma ya/tiyannakum minnee hudan faman tabiAAahudaya fala khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona | قلنا اهبطوا منها جميعا فإما يأتينكم مني هدى فمن تبع هداي فلا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون قُلْنَا اهْبِطُواْ مِنْهَا جَمِيعاً فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّيْ هُدًى فَمَنْ تَبِعَ هُدَايَ فَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قلنا - We said,| اهبطوا - "Go down| منها - from it| جميعا - all (of you),| فإما - and when,| يأتينكم - comes to you| مني - from Me| هدى - Guidance,| فمن - then whoever| تبع - follows| هداي - My Guidance,| فلا - [then] no| خوف - fear| عليهم - (will be) on them| ولا - and not| هم - they| يحزنون - will grieve.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:61] | Wa-ith qultum ya moosalan nasbira AAala taAAamin wahidinfaodAAu lana rabbaka yukhrij lana mimmatunbitu al-ardu min baqliha waqiththa-ihawafoomiha waAAadasiha wabasaliha qalaatastabdiloona allathee huwa adna biallatheehuwa khayrun ihbitoo misran fa-inna lakum masaaltum waduribat AAalayhimu alththillatu waalmaskanatuwabaoo bighadabin mina Allahi thalikabi-annahum kanoo yakfuroona bi-ayati Allahiwayaqtuloona alnnabiyyeena bighayri alhaqqi thalikabima AAasaw wakanoo yaAAtadoona | وإذ قلتم يا موسى لن نصبر على طعام واحد فادع لنا ربك يخرج لنا مما تنبت الأرض من بقلها وقثائها وفومها وعدسها وبصلها قال أتستبدلون الذي هو أدنى بالذي هو خير اهبطوا مصرا فإن لكم ما سألتم وضربت عليهم الذلة والمسكنة وباءوا بغضب من الله ذلك بأنهم كانوا يكفرون بآيات الله ويقتلون النبيين بغير الحق ذلك بما عصوا وكانوا يعتدون وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَى لَن نَّصْبِرَ عَلَى طَعَامٍ وَّاحِدٍ فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنْبِتُ الأَرْضُ مِنْ بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّآئِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَدْنَى بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ اهْبِطُواْ مِصْراً فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ وَالْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَآؤُوْاْ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَواْ وَّكَانُواْ يَعْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قلتم - you said,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| لن - Never (will)| نصبر - we endure| على - [on]| طعام - food| واحد - (of) one (kind),| فادع - so pray| لنا - for us| ربك - (to) your Lord| يخرج - to bring forth| لنا - for us| مما - out of what| تنبت - grows| الأرض - the earth,| من - of| بقلها - its herbs,| وقثائها - [and] its cucumbers,| وفومها - [and] its garlic,| وعدسها - [and] its lentils,| وبصلها - and its onions."| قال - He said,| أتستبدلون - "Would you exchange| الذي - that which| هو - [it]| أدنى - (is) inferior| بالذي - for that which| هو - [it]| خير - (is) better?| اهبطوا - Go down| مصرا - (to) a city,| فإن - so indeed| لكم - for you| ما - (is) what| سألتم - you have asked (for)."| وضربت - And were struck| عليهم - on them| الذلة - the humiliation| والمسكنة - and the misery| وباءوا - and they drew on themselves| بغضب - wrath| من - of| الله - Allah| ذلك - That (was)| بأنهم - because they| كانوا - used to| يكفرون - disbelieve| بآيات - in (the) Signs| الله - (of) Allah| ويقتلون - and kill| النبيين - the Prophets| بغير - without (any)| الحق - [the] right.| ذلك - That| بما - (was) because| عصوا - they disobeyed| وكانوا - and they were| يعتدون - transgressing.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:62] | Inna allatheena amanoo waallatheenahadoo waalnnasara waalssabi-eenaman amana biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiriwaAAamila salihan falahum ajruhum AAinda rabbihimwala khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona | إن الذين آمنوا والذين هادوا والنصارى والصابئين من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر وعمل صالحا فلهم أجرهم عند ربهم ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَالَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَالنَّصَارَى وَالصَّابِئِينَ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحاً فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed| والذين - and those who| هادوا - became Jews| والنصارى - and the Christians| والصابئين - and the Sabians -| من - who| آمن - believed| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - [the] Last| وعمل - and did| صالحا - righteous deeds,| فلهم - so for them| أجرهم - their reward| عند - (is) with| ربهم - their Lord| ولا - and no| خوف - fear| عليهم - on them| ولا - and not| هم - they| يحزنون - will grieve.| | ||||||
| 7 [2:85] | Thumma antum haola-itaqtuloona anfusakum watukhrijoona fareeqan minkum min diyarihimtathaharoona AAalayhim bial-ithmi waalAAudwaniwa-in ya/tookum osara tufadoohum wahuwa muharramunAAalaykum ikhrajuhum afatu/minoona bibaAAdi alkitabiwatakfuroona bibaAAdin fama jazao manyafAAalu thalika minkum illa khizyun fee alhayatialddunya wayawma alqiyamati yuraddoona ilaashaddi alAAathabi wama Allahu bighafilinAAamma taAAmaloona | ثم أنتم هؤلاء تقتلون أنفسكم وتخرجون فريقا منكم من ديارهم تظاهرون عليهم بالإثم والعدوان وإن يأتوكم أسارى تفادوهم وهو محرم عليكم إخراجهم أفتؤمنون ببعض الكتاب وتكفرون ببعض فما جزاء من يفعل ذلك منكم إلا خزي في الحياة الدنيا ويوم القيامة يردون إلى أشد العذاب وما الله بغافل عما تعملون ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ هَـؤُلَاءِ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتُخْرِجُونَ فَرِيقاً مِّنْكُمْ مِّنْ دِيَارِهِمْ تَظَاهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِم بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَإِنْ يَّأْتُوكُمْ أُسَارَى تُفَادُوهُمْ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ إِخْرَاجُهُمْ أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ الْكِتَابِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍ فَمَا جَزَاءُ مَنْ يَّفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ مِنكُمْ إِلاَّ خِزْيٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَى أَشَدِّ الْعَذَابِ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| أنتم - you| هؤلاء - (are) those| تقتلون - (who) kill| أنفسكم - yourselves| وتخرجون - and evict| فريقا - a party| منكم - of you| من - from| ديارهم - their homes,| تظاهرون - you support one another| عليهم - against them| بالإثم - in sin| والعدوان - and [the] transgression.| وإن - And if| يأتوكم - they come to you| أسارى - (as) captives,| تفادوهم - you ransom them,| وهو - while it| محرم - (was) forbidden| عليكم - to you| إخراجهم - their eviction.| أفتؤمنون - So do you believe| ببعض - in part (of)| الكتاب - the Book| وتكفرون - and disbelieve| ببعض - in part?| فما - Then what| جزاء - (should be the) recompense| من - (for the one) who| يفعل - does| ذلك - that| منكم - among you,| إلا - except| خزي - disgrace| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world;| ويوم - and (on the) Day| القيامة - of [the] Resurrection| يردون - they will be sent back| إلى - to| أشد - (the) most severe| العذاب - punishment?| وما - And not| الله - (is) Allah| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 8 [2:112] | Bala man aslama wajhahu lillahiwahuwa muhsinun falahu ajruhu AAinda rabbihi walakhawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona | بلى من أسلم وجهه لله وهو محسن فله أجره عند ربه ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون بَلَى مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَلَهُ أَجْرُهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |بلى - Yes,| من - whoever| أسلم - submits| وجهه - his face| لله - to Allah| وهو - and he| محسن - (is) a good-doer,| فله - so for him| أجره - (is) his reward| عند - with| ربه - his Lord.| ولا - And no| خوف - fear| عليهم - (will be) on them| ولا - and not| هم - they| يحزنون - (will) grieve.| | ||||||
| 9 [2:129] | Rabbana waibAAath feehimrasoolan minhum yatloo AAalayhim ayatikawayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmatawayuzakkeehim innaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeemu | ربنا وابعث فيهم رسولا منهم يتلو عليهم آياتك ويعلمهم الكتاب والحكمة ويزكيهم إنك أنت العزيز الحكيم رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord!| وابعث - [And] raise up| فيهم - in them| رسولا - a Messenger| منهم - from them| يتلو - (who) will recite| عليهم - to them| آياتك - Your Verses| ويعلمهم - and will teach them| الكتاب - the Book| والحكمة - and the wisdom| ويزكيهم - and purify them.| إنك - Indeed You!| أنت - You (are)| العزيز - the All-Mighty| الحكيم - the All-Wise."| | ||||||
| 10 [2:157] | Ola-ika AAalayhim salawatunmin rabbihim warahmatun waola-ika humu almuhtadoona | أولئك عليهم صلوات من ربهم ورحمة وأولئك هم المهتدون أُولَـئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَأُولَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ | |||||

| 11 [2:160] | Illa allatheena taboowaaslahoo wabayyanoo faola-ika atoobuAAalayhim waana alttawwabu alrraheemu | إلا الذين تابوا وأصلحوا وبينوا فأولئك أتوب عليهم وأنا التواب الرحيم إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ تَابُواْ وَأَصْلَحُواْ وَبَيَّنُواْ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ | |||||

| 12 [2:161] | Inna allatheena kafaroo wamatoowahum kuffarun ola-ika AAalayhim laAAnatu Allahiwaalmala-ikati waalnnasi ajmaAAeena | إن الذين كفروا وماتوا وهم كفار أولئك عليهم لعنة الله والملائكة والناس أجمعين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَمَاتُوا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُولَئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةُ اللّهِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| وماتوا - and die[d]| وهم - while they| كفار - (were) disbelievers,| أولئك - those,| عليهم - on them| لعنة - (is the) curse| الله - (of) Allah,| والملائكة - and the Angels,| والناس - and the mankind,| أجمعين - all together.| | ||||||
| 13 [2:167] | Waqala allatheena ittabaAAoolaw anna lana karratan fanatabarraa minhum kamatabarraoo minna kathalika yureehimu AllahuaAAmalahum hasaratin AAalayhim wamahum bikharijeena mina alnnari | وقال الذين اتبعوا لو أن لنا كرة فنتبرأ منهم كما تبرءوا منا كذلك يريهم الله أعمالهم حسرات عليهم وما هم بخارجين من النار وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُواْ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّؤُواْ مِنَّا كَذَلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ اللّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرَاتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الذين - those who| اتبعوا - followed,| لو - "(Only) if| أن - [that]| لنا - for us| كرة - a return,| فنتبرأ - then we will disown| منهم - [from] them| كما - as| تبرءوا - they disown| منا - [from] us."| كذلك - Thus| يريهم - will show them| الله - Allah| أعمالهم - their deeds| حسرات - (as) regrets| عليهم - for them.| وما - And not| هم - they| بخارجين - will come out| من - from| النار - the Fire.| | ||||||
| 14 [2:246] | Alam tara ila almala-i min banee isra-eelamin baAAdi moosa ith qaloo linabiyyin lahumuibAAath lana malikan nuqatil fee sabeeli Allahiqala hal AAasaytum in kutiba AAalaykumu alqitalualla tuqatiloo qaloo wama lanaalla nuqatila fee sabeeli Allahi waqadokhrijna min diyarina waabna-inafalamma kutiba AAalayhimu alqitalu tawallaw illaqaleelan minhum waAllahu AAaleemun bialththalimeena | ألم تر إلى الملإ من بني إسرائيل من بعد موسى إذ قالوا لنبي لهم ابعث لنا ملكا نقاتل في سبيل الله قال هل عسيتم إن كتب عليكم القتال ألا تقاتلوا قالوا وما لنا ألا نقاتل في سبيل الله وقد أخرجنا من ديارنا وأبنائنا فلما كتب عليهم القتال تولوا إلا قليلا منهم والله عليم بالظالمين أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ مِن بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِن بَعْدِ مُوسَى إِذْ قَالُواْ لِنَبِيٍّ لَّهُمُ ابْعَثْ لَنَا مَلِكًا نُّقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ قَالَ هَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِن كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ أَلاَّ تُقَاتِلُواْ قَالُواْ وَمَا لَنَا أَلاَّ نُقَاتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَقَدْ أُخْرِجْنَا مِن دِيَارِنَا وَأَبْنَآئِنَا فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ تَوَلَّوْاْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً مِّنْهُمْ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Did not| تر - you see| إلى - [towards]| الملإ - the chiefs| من - of| بني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| من - from| بعد - after| موسى - Musa,| إذ - when| قالوا - they said| لنبي - to a Prophet| لهم - of theirs,| ابعث - "Appoint| لنا - for us| ملكا - a king,| نقاتل - we may fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah?"| قال - He said,| هل - "Would| عسيتم - you perhaps -| إن - if| كتب - prescribed| عليكم - upon you| القتال - [the] fighting,| ألا - that not| تقاتلوا - you fight?"| قالوا - They said,| وما - "And what| لنا - for us| ألا - that not| نقاتل - we fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| وقد - while surely| أخرجنا - we have been driven| من - from| ديارنا - our homes| وأبنائنا - and our children?"| فلما - Yet, when| كتب - was prescribed| عليهم - upon them| القتال - the fighting| تولوا - they turned away,| إلا - except| قليلا - a few| منهم - among them.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knowing| بالظالمين - of the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 15 [2:262] | Allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumfee sabeeli Allahi thumma la yutbiAAoona maanfaqoo mannan wala athan lahum ajruhum AAindarabbihim wala khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona | الذين ينفقون أموالهم في سبيل الله ثم لا يتبعون ما أنفقوا منا ولا أذى لهم أجرهم عند ربهم ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ ثُمَّ لاَ يُتْبِعُونَ مَا أَنفَقُواْ مَنًّا وَلاَ أَذًى لَّهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||

| 16 [2:274] | Allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumbiallayli waalnnahari sirran waAAalaniyatanfalahum ajruhum AAinda rabbihim wala khawfun AAalayhim walahum yahzanoona | الذين ينفقون أموالهم بالليل والنهار سرا وعلانية فلهم أجرهم عند ربهم ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُم بِالَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ سِرًّا وَعَلاَنِيَةً فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||

| 19 [3:112] | Duribat AAalayhimu alththillatuayna ma thuqifoo illa bihablin mina Allahiwahablin mina alnnasi wabaoo bighadabinmina Allahi waduribat AAalayhimu almaskanatu thalikabi-annahum kanoo yakfuroona bi-ayati Allahiwayaqtuloona al-anbiyaa bighayri haqqin thalikabima AAasaw wakanoo yaAAtadoona | ضربت عليهم الذلة أين ما ثقفوا إلا بحبل من الله وحبل من الناس وباءوا بغضب من الله وضربت عليهم المسكنة ذلك بأنهم كانوا يكفرون بآيات الله ويقتلون الأنبياء بغير حق ذلك بما عصوا وكانوا يعتدون ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ أَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُواْ إِلاَّ بِحَبْلٍ مِّنْ اللّهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِّنَ النَّاسِ وَبَآؤُوا بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَسْكَنَةُ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الْأَنبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا وَّكَانُواْ يَعْتَدُونَ | |||||

| 20 [3:128] | Laysa laka mina al-amri shay-on aw yatoobaAAalayhim aw yuAAaththibahum fa-innahum thalimoona | ليس لك من الأمر شيء أو يتوب عليهم أو يعذبهم فإنهم ظالمون لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
